Very Bad. Very hot in the room with not even a fan, ants running everywhere in the room, the bed is so small and upper bed so low that I hit my head so many times (while I'm a very little size), my bed is like an open space, besides when I arrive, I had to make my bed myself… this is for me purely disrespectful. You have to pay for a tiny little bottle of shampoo and shower, 1 pound each… so I went to a pharmacy at night since I was not aware about that before taking my shower, to buy a big bottle that does both at 1 pound. Each time you bring a problem to the attention of the staff, all they can do is to let a note and nothing changed. The breakfast is… a waste of money and time. And the place we take shower… first it's small, second, why is there a shower room with transparent door? Is it to spice things up and get people to have some sex there? Absurd! Etc. Etc! Bad experience!

I love staying at Clink hostels! They’re clean, there’s a plug in each bed (for charging your phone), a division between beds that gives some privacy, and a little light in each bed (so you don’t wake up others). But the best about Clink is their BREAKFAST! :)

Second time staying at 261. And as on my previous visit, good value for money, convenient location, friendly, helpful staff. The facilities were clean and overall grand. Breakfast great value and plenty choice. A coffee machine for the up before 7 risers perhaps something to consider.

Great location near kings cross station. Rooms are a bit small but have good lockers. Kitchen facility is nice, big and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Helpful and knowlegablr staff.

Tiny tiny rooms, no storage. Not the cleanest. Definitely not even close to one of my favourite hostels to stay in. Wifi was fast and reliable. A place to sleep in central London. I'd pay more next time for somewhere nicer.

I found myself relatively well in this hostel and the staff was cheerful and friendly I don't give the five stars to the bathroom problem that there wasn't for the men in the same floor… So every time both for shower and for physical needs I had to go downstairs… For the rest it is ok both for the USB sockets in the bed structure and for the good proximity to Kings Cross station.

It is a hostel that left a negative impression. It is economical, but the rooms are overpopulated, we had no problem in Q is for 10 people, but the space was not enough, there was no place for the suitcases, and above the bunks, you could not open the cages to store things. The walls were damp.
Bathrooms there was only one per floor for men and another for women, and only two showers.
As for kitchen there was no oven, few kitchens and kept place also scarce for the amount of guests.
There were some drawbacks with a group of guests from 13 to 14 years old, several teenagers who made the stay a little complicated by the noise. The staff at the hostel little intervened with the tutors to give peace of mind.
The good thing is that it is on the avenue and close to King Cross and St Pancras station. They arrive the train of long distance, normal, subtes, collective. It has shops restaurants and super on the same block. A super is open until well late, where you can buy something to eat.
There are two TMB bars for a few beers, each pint about 5 to 6 pounds.

I would really recommend Clink 261! First of all, it is a nice place with a cool atmosphere. People at reception are friendly and they help you if you need it. Moreover, the situation is really good: near King's Cross Station and not far away from Camden (maybe 20 minutes on foot) or other interesting tourist sights. The area is quiet and safe and there are many places to buy food, eat or have a drink. Breakfast is only one pound and you can eat as you want. In my case, I stayed in a 10-bedded room and it was spacious, beds was comfortable and you have your own light, locker and socket. I had a good experience at Clink 261 and I'm looking forward to visit you in Amsterdam!

Little space in General, even worse in the rooms. Breakfast was bad, but you can't expect better for the price.

Cheap and easy! You get what you pay for — this is a pretty good hostel that handles quite a few folks on a regular basis. The place is clean and fun, but don't expect it to be super quiet at any time.

One of the worst customer service I have ever had at a hostel. Dropped my luggage off at the storage room as I was too early to check in. When I returned at night to check in someone when sleeping in my bed and all other beds were dirty. The staff didn’t know what to do and asked if I could check into a different room for one night and check out at 10am to check into another room at 3pm. When I said I would prefer not. They gave me new sheets for a bed in that room. When I returned the same night there was a person sleeping in my bed again. They just gave me new sheets and I had to change the bed again. Got an email the next morning saying I needed to check into my new room and get charged for it and they acted like it was my fault. Facilities are poor quality and no girl bathroom on the mixed dorm floors. Electric bed panel broken. Very loud hostel at night you can hear everything in the halls.

The location is really close to the station and has co-op just next door. The staff were all really nice and the area was clean. The breakfast is simple and cheap as well. The only problem is the guy who stayed in the room that snore and stink (he never shower). Three people left in the middle of night because the smell and had to change room. Overall, the five nights in Click was good.

Downtown. For young people. Common places. Great for groups.

In 4 days when I spent the night I can say I found myself well, the place is in a very advantageous location compared to all the attractions that you can then go to see. Perhaps the rooms and the bathrooms did not allow an optimal coexistence with all the people who lived there (students in Erasmus, workers, etc. ). The high density of people who lived there was the sometimes cause of ewwy odors. But overall positive.

Hostel very nice, clean, people are super nice and it is very well placed just at QQ meters from King Cross and public transport.

It's right in the heart of London. It is close to the most important station in the city. Very good service, speak many languages and no problem with the enclosure. Washbasins and showers in the best condition. Apart from the side there is a supermarket where you can buy food and Hacertela in the Great kitchen.

Female dorm was cramped, smelly, and the outlet above my bed didn't work at all. The beds didn't have any privacy curtains. No other outlets were available in the dorm room, & even when the front desk staff was informed, they didn't fix the situation. Outlets were limited throughout the building, including in the dining room. The kitchen was large, but the 3 small fridges were packed to the gills. The locker under my bed was broken so I couldn't secure luggage. The only good part of this location was the proximity to St Pancras & Kings Cross stations. If the business is going to charge £20+ per night, I would expect better service & electric availability. I wouldn't recommend this location to friends.

Very good hostel. In my last time in London I was on the other that there are a couple of streets back. In the room it was a bit chilly but I did not pass cold not a single night, the beds were comfort and the Nordic was the best I have seen in places like this. The showers and impeccable toilets. I had a kitchen that I didn't use but it was very well equipped. In the morning, the breakfast offer was amazing, there was juice, milk, cereals, toast, coffee, yogurt, fruit. I missed milk of more variety for vegans or bigots. Otherwise, it's all great.
The hostel is five minutes from King's Cross and there are many choices of fast food restaurants around. When I return to London, I will definitely repeat.

Excellent location (minutes from King's cross), friendly staff. Cleanliness is in the norm for a hostel where you have to share the bathroom with 10 other people and more.

Cheap hostel in very central London area. Cleanliness good but not flawless. Breakfast.

Calm, Relaxed hostel. Best place for those looking a quiet place to sleep without party energy. The popular Water Rats Pub across the street is a must visit.

Very clean room, clean toilets/common areas. Great location — 2 min walk from Kings Cross Station and a Co-op (small food store) right next door. No curfew or lock outs which is great, however since people come in and out at late times you will hear it at 2am or so. The rooms get really warm so you'll end up sleeping on top of your covers with the window open. Staff were nice.

Hotel clean but with very few toilletes and showers. The beds are too close one of the others. If someone moves in the bed next to you, you feel it.

Cheap and cheerful. Comfy beds with individual light and USB charging point. Bring a padlock as these are not provided. Breakfast is good and cheap and there is a TV room. Staff are friendly and showers are warm.

Beautiful rooms, neatly clean and modern. Each bed has a reading light, 2 sockets, two USB caps and a small red message.
The rooms and the front door can be opened with a map.
Nice staff all are helpful at asking and try to make everything possible.
Good breakfast, there's toast with butter, jam and cheese, plus 4 different types of cereal, fruit salad and yogurt. In addition, the coffee vending machine can be used freely with cappuccino, coffee, espresso, etc.
In addition, you have the option of checking in or checking in your luggage. After checking out, park in a luggage compartment.

The place is good for travellers looking for something economic. The breakfast is too convenient, the location is amazing, it is easily reached from the Metro, the train station and buses.

Clink 261 is a pleasant place to spend the night, beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and secure — with in room lockable storage. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Unfortunately the rooms tend to get very warm at night — the only option is to leave the window open, but then you have to contend with the traffic noise from outside. Breakfast is great value at £2 for an unlimited selection of toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and reasonable coffee selection (the tea is a better choice). It's a great Base to explore London from, with the British library and museums within walking distance. Overall its good… But if it would be difficult to recommend if you want a sound night sleep!

Suitable for a short and especially economical stay, a stone's throw from central London, convenient to Stansted airport (there is a direct bus from King's Cross St station. Pancras). Bunk beds, tiny rooms where it is difficult to turn around, no privacy, large and well-equipped kitchen, sufficient breakfast (not included but cheap), coin laundry. Good for students and groups.

Oh it's just lovely, really close to kings Cross station, friendly staff and all that. Slightly small rooms but they were sturdy and next to no creaking. Very nice overall.

Very rock'n'roll design Clean, quiet. 3 electric sockets over the head at the bed. Smoking and alcohol from outside not allowed, which is cool. But there is a bar for those who want to drink. 5 minutes from StPancrass. A bit noisy ij some rooms at night because of the road in front of it, but being that close to St Pancrass Eurostar allows you to stay asleep until 1.5 hr before your train. Cool place.

Our stay was great! The hostel is so close to King's Cross, which makes it really easy to find transportation. The room was crowded and not very clean… But it was expected with so many people in one room. Overall, a great place to stay, friendly people and the best night of sleep I've ever had in an hostel!

Staying in a 18 bed room, surprisingly easy to sleep in. Check in was easy. Would recommend going for a smaller room though as it gets pretty hectic in such a large room.

Basic, clean and quiet accommodation for short stays. 261 has no bar so if you want to socialise more you can head round the corner to Clink71, but having it quiet here is really good. The dorms have plenty of storage cupboards that you need a padlock for-two separate cupboards for each occupant so you'd need two padlocks to secure them both. Bathrooms on alternate floors that always seem to be quiet and fresh smelling/clean. Easy to get maintenance/cleaning issues sorted quickly too.

A simple hostel, located almost opposite King's Cross and St Pancras stations. It has no pub or restaurant, but there are many places on the same block. Girls and simple yet functional rooms. Clean shared bathrooms. A common place with kitchen in the basement is there. More than acceptable.

This is good for students and young people, not very much for families. The breakfast is free and satisfying, and you can use the kitchen whenever you need to. Unfortunately the roof of the bedroom was a large window: every morning there was a lot of light and the noisies from the street. Low price, nice staff.

Good place to sleep for cheap. There is a Wi-Fi connection, TV, Wii and a luggage room. The breakfast isn't a traditional English one but really correct.

Rooms are extremely small and the building is humid (make sure you sleep with the window open), Wi-Fi is very spotty and the speed is very very slow particularly for uploads. The rooms, toilets, and showers are clean and the beds are comfortable and then hostel is located about a block away from Pancras Station.

The location is excellent. Good service. Hotel.
