Really nice and cosy place. The food was just amazing!

One is south east London’s best pubs. Live music, DJs, excellent beers, wines and food — an all round great atmosphere and vibe!

Great food, great craic, great live music.

What a fabulous pub! Beautifully preseved interior, cosy comfy seating, really lovely staff and a pile of boardgames. There was even a real ale that was sweet enough to convert this rosé addict!
Later the live music really added to the party atmosphere with half the place bobbing to the beat and the rest still able to chat as the volume was not insane like a lot of places.
Really impressed… felt like a proper night out. X.

This has it ALL! Great beer, food, location, service, and rooms to stay in! Price was unbelievable, music was great, and the staff are ridiculously gracious hosts. Kudos to Julio (hotel manager) and Joseph (1 of 2 owners) who went above and beyond to make an out of country visitor feel like royalty. Coming back as soon as possible! If you like craft beer come give a visit, and stay the night if you can!

I had 2 of the Superior Suites for the night before my wedding, getting ready in the morning and then for the wedding night. What a perfect, picturesque hotel for this purpose! The superior suites are beautiful and large and made a great back drop to the photos of us getting ready. It was 29oc outside and the air con was amazing and really helpful for when there’s a large group getting ready for a wedding. The meal the night before was gorgeous, the beds comfortable, the breakfast perfect and the staff extremely accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to someone just looking for a room overnight, or, to book for the weekend of the most important day of their lives!

Awesome, amazing and fantastic! Can't give enough praise. If it weren't for certain features, this would definetly have been a 4 star hotel instead of 3. We came from a horrible hotel stay after getting stranded due to a cancelled flight and this turned out to be our light in the dark. A good shower and amazing bed, maybe even better than ours at home, restored us and when my husband fell ill, the receptionist tipped me on the option to order room service, no extra charge. The food was good, as was breakfast. They even called us a cab for our return to the airport, another helpful suggestion from the reception, after enquiring after the health of my husband. Wonderful, good quality, very helpful and quick to serve. Will be back for sure.

Visited this place last Saturday afternoon. Great place, it had a real alternative music vibe. I think I Shazamed 3 tracks while I enjoyed a pint of Kingpin, a pint which the bar lady arranged for me from a couple of suitors. I love the place! The best pub ive been into in a long while!

This is a small classy hotel on the edge of downtown a 25 minute walk to the Hampton Court Palace. Room 107 was large and had a beautiful bathroom. They have a very nice pub and a restaurant but we also found fast food places on the same street; and a little store that sells beer and wine. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was amazing. From the welcoming receptionist to the bar and waitresses. All couldn't have done more if they tried. The room was fantastic. Bed was VERY comfortable. Shower was brilliant. And the breakfast… WOW! Fantastic value for money. Very close to Kingston town, Hampton court palace, Bushy Park and Hampton wick station. Free parking which was extremely secure. Overall fabulous place. Will DEFINITELY be going back!

Called in for a drink outside. Staff were great and polite. All was fine until we ordered twe burgers, one with chips. That's exactly what we got! Dry bread bun with a burger in the middle! No garnish, no cutlery, no sauces such as mayo or ketchup. No serviettes either. Couldn't believe it. Even Mcdonalds put a bit of garnish on such as lettuce, tomato etc. When I queried this I was told I could purchase a side salad… which I didnt want. So would I visit again? No. Although the staff were lovely the food was a big letdown.

Very easy to use. Swift check in and great rooms at a good price. Easy parking, good menu. Great for Kingston shopping trip or Hampton court visit. Recommended.

Cask beer was served in excellent condition, staff were friendly and informative. There is a beer vending machine.

Charming spot, pub looked nice. Unfortunately got in late and had to leave early so didn't get to spend time around the area. The room was nice and clean, good shower, comfortable bed. Would recommend.

Really great place. Not what you'd expect of rooms above a pub. It was really clean, good fittings, quite, wonderful comfy bed, clean powerful shower, lovely towels… Breakfast was a really professional affair as well in a cosy and charming restaurant. Really well done White Heart, I shall be visiting again.

The star feature is the excellent staff, friendly and efficient. Bedroom adequate and very clean. Bathroom small but adequate and clean. Good location for visit to Hampton Court and Thames river trips. Would use again.

Great pub/hotel with classy interior and overall good atmosphere. Almost a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the younger crowds of Kingston just across the bridge.

Lovely pub just off the Thames path that was very dog friendly. We really appreciated the water bowls and the fact that our dog was allowed onto certain areas. Fullers pub with a nice selection of ales.

If you're a New Cross local, you may remember what this place used to be like in the days when Ken managed it, eg: the deathly silence, the ladies who provided recreational activities for gentlemen upstairs and the giant plastic sphinx outside the toilets. Although the eccentric Egyptian decoration is missed, thankfully everything else changed a couple of years ago and the White Hart these days is a lively and vibrant pub with a great slection of beers (though the Neck Oil should be on tap permanently IMO! ). The food is good quality though a little on the £ricey side, but anywhere which adds the word "kitchen" to it's self-description is always a warning sign that you"ll end up paying more for your grub. Highly recommended (Paddy — can I have a free beer for this review mate? )

Banging pub in new cross, nice location and loads of lovely beers plus the staff are sound.

Tasty food, nice and hot, and big portions. Nice atmosphere and lots of space. Wi-Fi was a bit iffy. Expensive beer imo — £5.40 for a 3.7% IPA.

Poor beer selection. Too many poncey, hipster craft beers. How many crappy pale ales does a pub really need — and not a single proper bitter on tap. Disappointing. Tasty food though.

Room was fine, London Pride was fine. Location is great for hospital visiting or travelling into London to do the tourist thing. Car parking is invaluable. Receptionist took her fish and chip supper into the office which made the whole bar area smell like a chippy. We have stayed a number of times and can see a gradual deterioration in the quality of breakfast, particularly the non cooked offerings — no oat granola today only cornflakes and weetabix. Slow to clear tables — watched one member of staff take a couple of spoons at a time to the kitchen rather than simply filling a tray and doing it all in one go. Staff were polite enough but were a bit lack lustre. The yawning receptionist made me think that the night staff serve breakfast.

Lovely roast Sunday lunch and an Irish band playing live in the corner. Soft beef and gorgeous pork with crackling, Yorkshire puds, kale and red cabbage, so glad we came.

Stayed at the White Hart Hotel just before Christmas for 2 nights, with our dog. It was a cold weekend, but the room and rest of the Pub was warm. The room was quiet, clean and modern. Ate breakfast and evenig meals. It was busy, the staff coped well and brought out the food in good time. The quality of the meals was good. Staff were polite and always ready to chat and smile. Really enjoyed the stay and we are returning this weekend.

A great hotel with stylish, comfortable rooms; particularly impressed at choice of tea and coffee in rooms — usual tea and coffee tray with kettle plus a pod style coffee maker. Also enjoyed walk-in rain forest shower and thick bath towels. Service at reception and in the bar and restaurant friendly and efficient. A decent range of fish, meat or vegetarian dishes on restaurant menu. Three courses — sharing a dessert (it is Christmas! ) and a bottle of red came to about £65. Well located for shopping trip in nearby Kingston or a visit to Hampton Court. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

One of the best hotels Iv ever stayed in at this price. I usually use the Hilton but since it was full I decided to try here instead. The rooms are excellent, impeccably equipped to a 4/5 star standard. Bathroom is excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The per room ac unit should be the standard for any good hotel. Great place to stay. Have recommended it to many people.

The hotel has isn't really a hotel more a b and b, but with no breakfast. Rooms are cheap but not that clean and don't all have en suit, so check first. Room I stayed in had four single beds in plus a mattress on the floor! The electrics didn't look very safe, sockets loose on wall. Certainly wouldn't stay here with children!

We had previously been here and enjoyed amazing food so today we booked a large table of 9 to celebrate a birthday. Sadly to say we have been left fairly disappointed. First off we arrived at 1:30 and all the session beer taps weren’t working … still not sure if they were empty or just not working … so beer selection was limited. Ordering food was a mission, first off we were told table service would be provided then no one arrived to take an order so then individuals in the party went up to the bar and orders individual meals … starters arrived after the main meals were served and one main not delivered at all till 20 minutes after all other meals were served plus we had to ask twice for the missing meal. Regarding the meal. The bavette was good as was the chicken burger and mac and cheese … starters were good peppers and the croquettes however the roast beef was tough as old leather and basically inedible unfortunately this was for the 50% of the meals at a place who sells themself on a great roast dinner — the missing dinner was the nut roast and the patron had requested steamed broccoli, none of which materialised however her plate was overfilled with roast potatoes, in only what I can assume was a placating action. Then tables were not cleared in a timely manner so all in all, the entire experience has not encouraged us to go back.

Great facilities beds a bit soft breakfast was full English very well presented continental was available full selection of fruit and yogurt.

Screwed up the order, 3 beers on tap were off, I was in a bit of a mood, but the barman was polite and well mannered so all was salvaged. As for the pub, it’s a cosy and enjoyable place to wile away the afternoon with a laptop or a beer or both. Probably very nice for dinner, but also it’s a proper pub.

Nice pub just outside New Cross. Tends to be a little less hectic. Nice food and good selection of drinks. Would recommend.

Big old Victorian boozer, re-booted a year ago offering large range of beers from todays progressive breweries, many London ones. Food seems popular, DJ nights regular. Visited on their 1st anniversary celebration weekend, cask & keg beers excellent. Busy night with some rookies behind the bar but all staff coped well & were super friendly.

Used to be a bit of a dive, but since its refurb the place is now flying. Great drink selection, good music, lovely atmosphere with some events chucked in here and there. This pub really has changed for the better, good work!

Only been here 3 times and only for a pint. The last time was because I signed up for the Wi-Fi and I got a free offer of a beer and a scoop of ice cream. Unfortunately Doom bar and raspberry float doesn't float my boat (Tee Hee). Real ale never been good. I also sat and listened to a meeting that may or may not have been the management team though they were discussing the hotel. No matter great fun one of them had obviously seen far too many episodes of the Apprentice and was extremely rude to each other in a very non-PC way. Aggressive bullying is not the way forward. Maybe meetings behind closed doors in future? Ruined my ice cream experience 3 stars.

Bengal Lancer (bottle) and the chefs special meal. Pleasant experience as usual quite inside everyone was outside! Sunday lunch here as well a f weeks later — very nice. Hotel Manager, Tony does a marvellous job here very attentive, very efficient and copes with everything thrown at him. Great to watch!

Visited: 17-18/7/2017 HEADLINES Premises: Reasonably large budget hotel based around a pub with it's own car park. Very clean. Good location. Accommodation: Very good with very good facilities. Very clean. Staff: Very welcoming, extremely helpful. Service: Polite, friendly and efficient but a little understaffed at breakfast time. Menu: Good range of pub meals and choices of breakfast. Food: Very good (breakfast). DETAIL This hotel, that looks like a pub, hides a really good budget hotel with its own reception and car park. Situated at the start of the High Street it gives easy access to river walk and bus links within a few yards. We were allocated a 'disability room' on the ground floor by (quote) 'the computer'. We are not disabled. (Manoeuvring through the close arrangement of fire doors in a wheel chair to get to the room may also be difficult). Anyway, room decor okay and thoroughly clean. Very good range of facilities: air con unit, large Freeview tv; kettle, coffee and sugar; Nespresso machine as well; telephone; fridge with chargeable drinks (water and milk complimentary) ; hair dryer; ironing board and iron, room safe; free Wi-Fi, and bedside mini entrainment cube offering USB charging so equipment wise better than a budget Travelodge. A chargeable laundry service is also available. Very clearly laid out book of instructions/facilities.

Lived in the area for 11 years and it's great to see what a transformation the White Hart has undergone. Popped in for food and was a well thought out menu (highly recommend chicken curry croquettes with harissa aioli), fabulous beer selection and a great, chatty relaxed atmosphere. The décor is welcoming and the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and wonderful live sultry music. Delicious food and beautiful building. Hardly noticed it being next to a roundabout.

Popped in with friends and a young lady was rushed off her feet with a huge amount of people to cater for she really done good and provided wonderful service to everyone. This women made the hotel stand up to its reputation and solely deserves 5 stars for brilliance! Hope you enjoy the tip Diane and see you next weekend what a star Mr fullers you should be proud.

Recently reopened and rejuvenated and serving food now. Impressed with the food, I have wined and dined in a lot of places in and out of the UK and I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I have eaten… let's hope the Whitehart can keep this chef as I live just around the corner.

Really nice remodeling job. Great beers and solid food. Bar staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times but they will find their feet. Excellent range of craft beers. The food menu has a broad range of options from classic burgers to more exotic fare. Also several vegetarian options. Will definitely pop back.

Me and my daughter stayed here on the 2 July 2016 for one night. It was well worth the 1 hour trek from Kings Cross Station. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to make your stay pleasurable, the food is really good and a good choice of meals from their menus. The room was lovely very clean. It is in an ideal spot for the station and just a short walk over the Thames bridge and you have lots eating places along the side of the river Thames. All in all we had a lovely weekend would definitely stay here again.

Good food, staff could have been more helpful when settling the bill. Incorrect items added to bill, staff members response "I wasn't here so I can't help you"

My nephew and his wife stayed recently at the White Heart in a luxury double room for 2 nights bed and Breakfast. They loved their stay, found the room very comfortable with excellent furnishings. My nephew enjoyed the shower so much that he showered before and after breakfast, They also found the hotel so convenient for Kingston, the river, the parks and Hampton court etc. Would highly recommend the White Heart hotel.

Hi we stayed at the White Hart Hotel this last w/e we found it very welcoming and staff excellent they were very help full and could not do enough for us also the food, very good plenty to choose from for breakfast we would stay there again room very nice and clean, good location. l.

A good spot to watch the world go by. A nice flip side to the pubs of Kingston as good as they are. Well served beer and good ambience.
