Beautiful hotel and excellent service!

Had a lovely lunch in the Atrium Restaurant. We picked the festive menu — great value at £16.95 a head 3 courses plus coffee and mince pies
will definitely be back to try the Sunday Lunch.

Disgraceful service. Promised a complementary room with dinner included for my birthday, authorised by the manager. Only to be told as we arrive that the manager got fired and there is no room for us. When did they think to inform us? Waited all the way till we arrived, all excited. To then let us down. Made out like the manager left 3 months ago yet he spoke to us and booked us in 1 week ago? Makes no sense I’m afraid. Very crap run business will never visit/attempt to visit again. Do not recommend. Don’t waste your time.

Charlie the waiter made it even more special by asking if we would like a photo together what a lovely touch. Food was very tasty and lots of tea served. Charlie was very attentive but left us to relax and enjoy no rushing. Will be returning soon.

Excellent customer service to start with as we were 15 mins late for our booking because of traffic.
Sunday lunch was delicious and plentiful … wonderful deal with Groupon.

This was the venue for a reception after a funeral. We booked their basic sandwich package which had a good range of veggie, fish and meat sandwiches, sausage rolls cheese and onion rolls. Tea coffee and chocolate brownies. The food was very nice, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

It's probably nice if you are not part of a coach party. If you are, don't bother eating in the hotel. You will be treated as a second class citizen! The food was appalling. The poor staff seemed run off their feet, with no supervision or direction. Never had such a bad experience in a hotel before. The hotel bedroom was fine and decor nice.

Really pleasant hotel, staff are friendly, excellent service, it has been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel where someone has made an effort of cleaning my room during my stay so thank you (normally a brush over seems to be all that will be done). Pretty courtyard and balcony in a number of the rooms. Haven't given 5 stars because there aren't any facilities, gym etc, but for a 4 star hotel this is excellent.

A nice little lodge hotel. I wouldn't say it was a 4 star though. Rooms are compact to say the least, no air con; in this heat… it was unbearable as there was no air either. The rooms to need some tlc for sure. There is paint coming away for the ceiling, paper coming away from the walls. The staff are very pleasant and the food lovely.

Stayed here recently for one night with my family. The place was calm and beautiful… Nice and clean rooms as I expected. Food was really nice. Everything was perfect!

Went for a Sunday lunch. The food is decent quality, with huge portions, we had to take desert home, but it was still delicious the next day. The venue decoration is a little bit run-down, but this is more than made up for by the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff.

Had Sunday Lunch with a groupon voucher. Staff lovely, helpful & polite. Jug of water was warm and asked for it twice. Would have liked more than half a slice of toast with starter. We both had to bits of roast potato with our main tha amounted to one whole potato between us! Bit stingy! Dessert lovely. Dont think I would either recommend or visit again.

Pleasant stay. Although I am a little surprised this is graded 4*? I have stayed in 3* much better. The staff were very friendly. However the hotel itself is quite run down. Doors rotting at the bottom. A wooden plinth had fallen off and laying on the floor in the courtyard. Light fittings hanging off. Wallpaper pealing. Generally in need of a freshen up. I still enjoyed my stay, but price matched with decor and facilities doesn't quite match up.

We had the tea at an organized event. Everything was tasty — the cakes were a little sweet for my taste.

Was ok for one night but definitely needed some tlc. However great price for a room in Kingston.

I went for a wedding viewing and let me say I wasn't impressed. Nothing like the brochure. Dead flowers in the vases, chipped paint on the walls and generally not a well maintained venue. We waited for the coordinator for 20 minutes and the tour was very short. Even though we were there by appointment the ceremony room was busy, he didn't take ùs out to the courtyard and quite frankly was a waste of my time. Very disappointed.

We went for a murder mystery night which was good entertainment, the meal was nice. But the room needed a but of tlc. It looked like it was freshly decorated, there was dust around the base of the bedside lamps and the carpet was stained, mattress was very soft, I like a bit firmer, that's my personal preference tho. Just needs a little more attention to cleaning. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Stayed for one night in a family room don’t no why a family room would be backed on to a smoking area couldn’t have the windows open other wise you would smell the smoke that’s not good for kids
Food is over priced for you your presented with and wasn’t told there was to be a party below us when I booke dirtect with the manager.

Hired the conference suite and had lunch. Room was fine and the lunch was tasty and hot. Staff were great.

Stayed here recently for one night whilst on a family trip. Whilst the staff were very friendly and helpful I wouldn’t rate this hotel 4*. Rooms are nothing special and quite dated. Also, we booked the family roomto find when we got there we were allocated 2rooms with an interconnecting door. This was disappointing as we had 2 young children who did not want to sleep in the room next door in a strange place, which meant we had to co sleep in a single bed! Quite noisy throughout the night also. Breakfast was quite disappointing, I have had much nicer at budget hotels!

It was my first visit. But found it extremely pleasant experience. Very supportive staff, best delicious foods. A must visist.

This place is beautiful. Amazing service and rooms. Can do with better heating though. LED tvs and bar fridges all included. Spacious and well maintained.

Attended a private event at the venue. It was well attended and the staff were very friendly. Basic decor in the event area but the hotel reception itself was very pleasent.

Heating in our room doesn't work. Breakfast is terrible. Staff did not care when grievances were raised. Cleaners moved belongings. Not 4 star like the rating suggests.

Very friendly staff. The room was nice, maybe a little dated and the bed was very comfortable. My only negative was the shower. It required me to turn the knob for a fair while before the pressure was high enough for a decent shower. The temperature was a little sensitive too. Apart from that a very pleasant stay.

Food amazing, disco was great but no lime cordial and soft drinks machine was broken so got a glass off syrup then warm flat bottled lemonade. Struggled to get up and downstairs. Need a lift, a bar downstairs or someone to come serve at tables.

2nd Christmas do there, food is gorgeous. + Disco. Enjoyment is what you make of it.

Worst experience of my life. Checked in and then out in 2 hours, rock hard beds, cold shower, very noisy from ongoing party, free parking but required to have remote control to park the car, cos after parking you can leave the car no more.

Stayed at Kingston Lodge last week. Very beautiful garden. Rooms are big as compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast very good. Staff always ready to help. Ample parking space. You feel like 'King' in Kingston.

In summery it's a very average hotel. The food served at the restaurant was fine, the bar and coffee area was fine and so was the cleanliness. Nothing special here.

Room adequate, but breakfast needs improvement full English served just warm, 1 egg over cooked, 1 sausage, tasteless, overcooked mushroom, no bacon no black pudding, tomatoe overdone. Staff friendly, let down by kitchen, send the cook to The Lavender Bakehouse and coffee shop Stroud to see how breakfast should be served.

Went yesterday as a Christmas gift was so looking forward to sitting in the lovely garden as it was a beautiful day only to be told on arrival that they had a wedding so had to have it indoors they must if know when I booked it in January but they didn't mention it to me or I would of booked another date I did ask if we could use the garden but she never came back to me the staff were very nice but again as a review before mine salmon and cream cheese cucumber and cream cheese and egg and watercress the cakes were very nice and as much tea or coffee but I'm not sure how much the gift was I can't imagine it was cheep I really don't think your afternoon tea was value for money sorry.

We came a bit early after an overnight flight. Getting checked in a bit rough, probably because Wimbledon tryouts taking place, but once into the room everything was excellent. Would I stay here again? DEFINITELY.

Went for a catch up with my girlies in a Groupon deal. Staff very polite but shame I couldn't say the same about the afternoon tea. We had beautiful tea cups which was followed by a stainless steal tea pot! Sandwiches were smoked salmon and cream cheese, cream cheese and cucumber and egg and watercress. We had to ask for the tea which was then followed by the cakes. Dry chocolate cake, lemon drizzle which was ok, some blackcurrent jam type thing with some cream on top, was almost like someone had placed a good jam in a shot glass with some cream, not nice and shop bought meringue nests with some whipped cream, half a grape and tinned but of pear. I suppose you get what you pay for on a deal by at least had great company.

Had afternoon tea as a Christmas present & we went yesterday, poor selection of sandwiches & cakes, sandwiches dry & crust still on one of them, cakes were all really dry, scones were probably the only thing made in the premises, even they were dry, as for whatever was in the little glass I'm not sure, it just tasted like strawberry jam topped with cream, the staff were there just to bring your food & then they disappeared & we never saw them again, I had to go to reception to ask for more coffee, they put us on a table at the entrance, overlooking the blocks of flats, overall not a good experience!

Adequate parking, good sized rooms, efficient check in/out procedures, nice pub downstairs and good food.

Room was comfortable, but the lighting was poor. Why in this day do we still not have plug sockets next to the beds? Food was nice, but specifically said no eggs for breakfast and recieved one.

Easily accessible, lots of parking. Quaint hotel, comfortable with friendly, attentative staff.

Ok hotel but in need of some modernisation. Could hear people on the room next door which is a bit annoying but I coped.

Table booked for 2pm, didn't get seated until 2:45 as though they were not expecting us. Only 3 staff, all of which were tending a private party so nobody waiting the bar or taking our orders. Hot food was cold, desserts were still frozen. One of the worst Sunday lunches ever.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, quick service. Didn't stay in a room but would definitely return.

Great Stay, great food! Came with my wife for a break to Kingston this week and had a great time. Lovely modern rooms, great service and we had free Wi-Fi in our room which was brilliant. We came as we wanted to visit Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. Both on the doorstep. Lovely breakfast and dinner was first class. We will be back!

Wow! Great stay. Was sent to work in Kingston and glad they booked me here. Lovely welcome very warm and cosy hotel with all the mod cons for the business traveller. Real homeFrom home. Lovely rooms with great Wi-Fi and shower. Couldn't ask for much more. Didn't have time for dinner but had a great breakfast. Great price will be back.

Great food, very friendly helpfull staff, ample parking, recommended.

Courteous hotel staff, made sure the guests got a room from the least noisiest location (due to an upcoming party). The first room offered was freshly painted with strong odor and they offered a new room that was more suitable. Highly recommended, good location near bus stops and train (Norbiton).
