We stayed at the Devonshire Hotel last night, as we were attending a wedding in Hornchurch. The owners were amazing, really accommodating and friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Their COVID system they have put in place was great with a one way system through the hotel, reception screens and room service breakfast, all helping to make us feel really safe. I will be staying again when we visit family and would definitely recommend the Hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, with ample parking, near to the centre of Hornchurch, but in a quiet location.
The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff warm and friendly.
Breakfasts are first class, overall our stay was most enjoyable.

Lovely place! Welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. Hot, tasty, substantial breakfast.
Standing a mere 5'2" I was unable to use the bathroom mirror in room 2 which was clearly installed with the assumption that all guests using that room will be 6' tall!

This hotel was clean, good continental breakfast or full English breakfast. Staff so friendly and helpfull. The only 2 negatives. Tiny televisions and single beds are small. Aside from that I felt like I was staying at someone's house. I would definitely go back.

What a lovely place more of a swanky bnb than a hotel but who cares its awesome room was lovely decor very comfy we slept like logs and all the staff were amazingly helpful and freindly def stay again and very good value for money especially inside the m25 I thought it was very fair at £89 for a nice double room great shower and parking was great too.

High recommend Very good place. Very clean and comfy. Close to the high street and train station. The issue is the Wi-Fi's, not very strong signal On the room 17 at least.

Nice rooms well designed we stayed in the newly built annexe nice and quiet. Only slight negative was the hotel was so full had to wait for a free table for breakfast. We would stay there again.

Hotel staff really lovely and friendly so helpful excellent service room was lovely and spacious really nice breakfast that came really quickly would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

It was definitely the best hotel for my needs. First I had a kingsize bed and room. Second the hotel only hosted non smokers and third there was all you can eat breakfasts, included! The guests had to ring to be admitted back into the hotel and there were the nicest hosts so helpful. I needed milk for evening medications, so they stored it in their fridge. Wonderful!

Great Hotel. Staff are brilliant. Breakfast well worth the £8, very tasty and a good range of choices. Room really clean. Bed firm and so comfortable We did not want to get up. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay and were helped so much by a really caring and patient staff. Thank you so much for all your help. We will see you again.

Friendly staff, exec room was fantastic and breakfast was excellent.

Lovely place to stay, quiet rooms due to high quality windows and a comfortable bed. Pretty warm even though radiator off. Staff were all welcoming and helpful, allowed us to check out late so we could prepare for a wedding. Gluten free breakfast on request was brilliant, coeliac friendly fry up with the biggest gluten free sausage I have ever seen! Would absolutely recommend the hotel to anyone.

A quaint Very clean and modern hotel, small room but still very nice! Well worth the money would very much recommend, the staff are all very friendly and breakfast was very good too!

I have booked the hotel on 3 occasions to accommodate visiting lecturers overnight for The Havering Decorative and Fine Arts Society. The reports get more glowing each time. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service and top-class breakfasts that can rival any 5-star London Hotel. Many thanks to the family for making their guests so welcome.

We were really impressed. The hotel is lovely and clean, fresh, light and friendly. We didn't sample the breakfasts, so can't comment, but they smelt great! Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the room was fantastic.

Nice stay and very good breakfast. We booked our 3 night stay on the internet, sight unseen. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local scene and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and a good value for a couple or small family. Good neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the underground station and the high street.

Excellent hotel near a London tube station with good restaurants and pubs nearby. I needed to stay in east London but unfortunately everything I tried was fully booked. I found this nice place on the internet and easily booked via the website. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the fact that the hotel was really close to the Underground (District Line) so I could easily reach east London on time for my job (about 20-25mins). My room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was excellent, the service fast and the staff very friendly. I really had a pleasant stay.

A wonderful boutique hotel! The rooms are clean, cosy and have been done to a high standard. The attention to detail is excellent. First class hospitality, warm reception and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Excellent location, you can easily walk to restaurants, shops and pubs. Thanks to the Devonshire I felt like at home away from home.
