Great looking place. Incredibly easy access straight into terminal 5. Upon arrival gentleman asked what time we needed to be in airport & after stating 13:30, he offered us a complimentary upgrade for late checkout & bigger room straight of the bat with no request! Excellent customer service. Room was fantastic & bed very comfortable. Breakfast delicious & again very friendly staff Highly recommended overall.

We didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel during our day long layover. It had everything we needed and the atmosphere was lovely. You cannot beat the location if you’re using T5.

Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel which I often do when I have an early flight. Desk staff, all staff in fact are unfailingly helpful and polite — efficient too. Rooms alway super clean and beds very comfortable.

I was going to give good review on my checkout but today's experience I would not rate it. Reason being a member of staff named shaun a very unprofessional arrogant and racist person. Had the same feeling at check in thought may be just me. The management needs to have a word with him totally rude guy.

The hotel is advertising everywhere the test and rest offer but because I didn't ask specifically for it they charged me normal price. And on top the test they offer is not even accepted by many countries. Be careful this is not an RT-Pcr. They squeeze money from you for everything £18 for a burger that tasted like a McDonald's one? Or 25 pounds for a taxi to terminal 1 while uber costs 5? Really disappointed.

I stayed here for a rest and test and was so happy with the service. Its the best value for money and turn around time with the results is fantastic, I had my results back by 2am. The staff were super friendly and helpful and everything was spotlessly clean. This is alot more value for money than any test centre by far and you get a big comfy room to go with it. Great job guys thanks for the stay.

Nice hotel at London Heathrow. Staff was very helpful with the check-in. The restaurant had really good food (but not cheap). The included breakfast was really good with a lot of variety (classic English breakfast items, cured meats, waffles, fresh cooked eggs, etc. ). Probably one of the best I have had at any hotel. Also surprising to see real honey and maple syrup.

Connected to Terminal 5, we stayed here one night as a stop over. Easy to find and it's not too difficult to move between terminals to get to it (free train — just get a ticket from the machine or ask a member of staff for help) Hotel feels quite luxurious with plenty of space between rooms, a spa and gym, shops and a barber. Bear in mind, it may be worth it to eat in one of the terminals as you'll pay high end prices in the restaurants at the hotel (£5 for a cappuccino sort of prices). Staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in. Excellent sound proofing in rooms for a good night's sleep which is a must at an airport hotel. Not too much of a pricey option too so definitely one to consider if you need a stop off between flights.

An enjoyable experience; we were given a lovely room where we could watch the planes take off, which was greatly enjoyable for my plane-enthusiast of a toddler. There was a good variety of foods at breakfast, and the staff were professional. The gym was well equipped and the spa had a good variety of treatments.

Incredible hotel! I only stayed for one night with an early morning flight the following day so I didn't get to enjoy all of the facilities, but I was so impressed with the place! The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean and there's a great choice of restaurants on the ground floor with excellent service and food. The hotel is also very easy to find and the short walk through the tunnel into terminal 5 was ideal for me. Although it's quite expensive to stay here, it was so worth it for the ease of access as well as the luxury of the hotel in general. I would definitely stay here again!

Itens missing in the breakfast every morning, and taking so long to refil… cold scrambled eggs, almost iced… I was at Ibis Tokyo some days before and had better breakfast… the glass for orange juice is so small, not enough even for a little child… Disappointing… I am writing as having breakfast… nobody to pick up used plates, nor serving coffee…

Very poor 3-Star hotel masquerading as a 5-Star. Staff attitude is unhelpful in general, and promised services are not delivered except under extreme duress. Management needs changing and the entire housekeeping staff needs to go. Rooms are small and poorly ventilated. Air conditioning can be set to 17 but it blows like a little kitten breathing on your neck and the actual room temperature never goes below 24. Have stayed here dozens of times and the last few visits have been very poor. Will not stay again. Would prefer to find a proper 5-Star downtown and brave the traffic.

Fabulous hotel. Staff are all incredibly lovely, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Spent the night with grandparents and children in adjoining rooms. The rooms were comfortable and a decent size — until the extra beds turned up! But the extra beds were full single size and comfy rather than some awful lumpy sofa bed. Lovely dinner in the bar. Have only given 4 stars as the route from the hotel to the terminal is a bit convoluted, lacks signage and takes several minutes so is not as straight forward as described.

We flew into Heathrow for a 2 week visit to the UK and picked up a car from Sixt which is located in the Sofitel. When we were due to fly back to the US, we decided to spend the night prior to our departure at the Sofitel. The hotel is connected to Heathrow T5 by a walkway making it super easy and quick to check in for an early flight. I expected all kinds of noise from a hotel that is literally in the airport but we had an amazing nights sleep. You couldn't hear a plane if you tried! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The people who work here really make it a pleasure to stay and they care about their customers. We can't wait to come back.

Stayed here before flying to new york. Rooms are clean and tidy. Well equipped. A good location for the airport a slightly higher price for the room but its worth it.

Best hotel near Heathrow airport! This one is near Terminal 5 but accessible to all terminals. Fantastic rooms and very friendly staff.

Very good, expensive (especially the services like the restaurant), very good choice for comfort. He's walking from Terminal 5. Ideal for renting a car and shortening the rental period on arrival in London if you arrive late. Sixt has the service in the hotel itself.
Plus, interesting fidelity program Accor hotels.

Really nice hotel with fountains in the lobby. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Parking is absolutely extortionate so I wouldn't recommend bringing a car. The room we stayed in was nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable. The only bad thing about the room was that when I opened the curtains, I saw the car rental stand which was quite strange. First hotel I've stayed in which doesn't have a window facing the outside, not ideal as the room was a little hot. Overall the hotel is really nice.

The service was great, only visited the bar for drinks. The staff was friendly, the prices weren't that expensive. Location is great if you're traveling from Terminal 5 as it's right across the road from the doors. You've got other places within the airport that serve the same purpose of you're after a drink but then again you get away from all the suitcases. If you're there to see someone off, it's much better than finding a place in the crowded airport entrance. The place seemed clean and the service great and professional for the hotel category.

I have been to many afternoon tea venues in Surrey and London. I booked afternoon tea here for my mother in law's birthday a week ago. However, we will not return. Good points: — The staff member Clive was very friendly and helpful! Not so good points: — Expensive car park even with discount. — The cakes were from frozen. The waiter confirmed this. — Sandwiches are not unlimited. A lot of restaurants in Surrey and London offer this — Some sandwiches were hard (mending old or left out in the open). — Not a great choice for people who suffer food allergies (restaurant was informed beforehand).

Nice hotel, particularly for an airport hotel. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could need. I was there Easter Sunday, so a few of the restaurants were closed, but there were still plenty of options for food and drinks.

Great place. Connected to Lhr T5 5 min walk to terminal. Great lobby. Non noisy. Walking down to tube is a bit further away. Spacious rooms.

I went there for a work meeting. Very convenient as it is next to Terminal 5 of the airport, which speeds up the displacement. The rooms are well equipped, the buffet, correct.

Stunning hotel just a few years old. Extremely comfortable rooms designed for the business traveler with rock solid fast Wi-Fi, numerous plug sockets and a large desk. Very quiet rooms with thick curtains so you are assured of being able to rest whatever your schedule. Enjoy the top quality breakfast buffet and the fact you don't need to check out until noon. Then just walk to terminal 5 for your flight or take the free heathrow express to other terminals. I would never stay anywhere else at heathrow!

We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel London Heathrow for a day layover (not overnight). The room was modest and not overly large however it was clean, the bathroom was modern and felt new and the bed was extremely comfortable. The check in process was easy with no issues and a friendly enough staff. The only thing preventing a 5 star review is our experience staying in hotels in other parts of the world providing larger spaces with exceptional interior design.

It's always a pleasure to start at the Sofitel, even if it does mean another night away from home. This latest trip was more of the same, which means perfect service, excellent facilities and a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed. This time I was in an Executive room; these are larger than the Classic or Superior rooms, with a king size bed and better specified bathroom, but all rooms are fine for a single guest. Eating in Vivre was a change (I usually just snack in the bar) with some great ribs and good service again. Great facilities and great service is a simple formula, although one so many get wrong, but the Sofitel nails it every time — it's no wonder I keep going back.

One night stay at the hotel during layover before an early flight in the morning. Lovely hotel and nice room. Excellent concierge service — assisted us in finding a local pub for dinner and personally took us to the airport when the wheelchair service did not arrive — definitely going above and beyond! Suggest that housekeeping check the status of the linen — sheets and comforter too short for the bed and even after requesting they see what they could do only the duvet was changed with the end of the mattress still exposed. Would definitely stay again1

We enjoyed the stay at the Sofitel. Checked in late afternoon and just walked around the lobby area. Had dinner at one of the restaurants and the service was excellent. They took good care of our three year old as well — the waitress was very entertaining. Room was very comfortable, filled with a lot of little luxuries and the bath made for an excellent relaxation stop. Easy to get out in the morning for our flight. Highly recommend, esp if you're flying out from Terminal 5.

There was only one night, but the most positive impressions are the friendly Russian-speaking staff, a good room, fast internet, quality breakfast.

The feeling of seeing out the window of the room the walkway to the airport is a bit weird but I didn't even realize the passing of the people. Very quiet. Excellent for a business trip. The best hotel next to the airport where I have stayed.

Sofitel London Heathrow is my favourite airport hotel in the world. (And I travel 44 weeks out of 53 a year). It is a tranquil sanctuary away from the hustle bustle of the airport scene and everything about the hotel envelopes you in luxury, elegance and stillness. When you slip beneath the sumptuous bed linens, it is like falling into a cloud. The feather mattress toppers are sublime. Rooms are kept immaculately clean and staff are friendly, warm and always professional. Whenever possible I try to arrive there in time for dinner as the Belle Epoque has exquisite cuisine and deserves a Micheline star. The dining room is cosseting and quiet. With a luxurious spa, the entire experience becomes a mini vacation before your flight.

This was my first visit to London, and I must say my overall experience at Sofitel was nothing short of awesome! The service all around was impeccable. I appreciated being able to schedule a much needed wake-up call the morning of my departure flight. The staff was all very friendly, hospitable, accommodating, and helpful. The food at both Tea 5 and Sphere Bar was incredible! I tried all things vegetarian and was totally impressed. I will definitely be back! Thank you again :)

Just little disappointed that you have changed the closing times of the Millennium (wrong spelling perhaps) from 20:00 hrs to 19:30 hrs. I assume that this is all to do with saving money and I understand that but you could make it a bit clearer to customers. You will see by my profile that we have stayed with you a few times in recent years and always enjoy ourselves. We upgraded to a luxury room and hoped to take advantage of the facilities as we have done before. It was not explained to me that the snacks and beverages had finished; so along with other people it was disappointing to walk in at 19:50 hrs to find everything put away and no body to talk too. We stayed here after a post-cruise tour to the Bath. The tour bus picked us up from the pier in Southampton, after a day tour to the Bath, dropped us off right at the Hotel. We enjoyed this modern hotel very much. The French Restaurant was wonderful. Services were perfect. We went into London via the Underground and spent the next day shopping and then to a musical in the West End before returning to the hotel late. It was great to have breakfast in the hotel leisurely before walking over to the terminal for our flight back home. Only complaint was the the breakfasts were a bit weak.

I love this hotel mainly because of close distance to Terminal 5 Heathrow — walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and hotel has few nice restaurants and very nice business lounge with very good food and drinks. There is a spa also but I never have time to go there. Maybe next stay. I definitely recommend this hotel for short stay with connections through terminal 5, very convenient. If you like to go to London, Hotel has a fabulous limousine service that will take you in style anywhere you wish to go.

We chose the T5 Sofitel as we had an early flight to Geneva the next day. It was ideal preparation: the hotel is relaxing, luxurious and calm. We received a free upgrade (thank you! ) and enjoyed our very spacious room. The French restaurant in the hotel is exceptional and well worth the price. Excellent staff.

Great room, spacious, spotless and insonosrizzata perfectly. Soft and comfortable bed, room facilities included in the kettle with coffee and tea in the iron. I would add a pair of disposable slippers.
Everything else was perfect.

When hearing that we had an early morning flight out of Heathrow, a friend suggested we stay at the Sofitel at Heathrow. What a great choice. It was extremely easy and very comfortable for the night. Bags arrived to our room nearly as fast as we did. It was an easy walk to Terminal 5 for our departure. The room was QUIET and comfortable. My only issue was at check-in. I'm sure the desk clerk was trying to be friendly, but he kept asking questions about our trip, and our holiday, and where we traveled, and did we want to upgrade and add this service and that service… when all we wanted to do was get to our room. A little less chat, and it would have been the perfect experience.

Room was excellent. Modern, well furnished, large. Bathroom was well designed and I liked the Hermes amenities. Baggage service also excellent — quick, efficient and friendly. Location next to T5 perfect for our overnight stay. Check in was terrible. We had to wait for 20 mins in a queue with 2 young children at 11:30 pm at night. There were only 2 counters open while 3 other hotel staff were sitting at the back doing paperwork. No one seemed interested in easing the process for the 20+ people waiting in line.

I really like the Sofitel brand and the hotel at Heathrow is very impressive. I did not like the fact I had to pay £25 extra to use the spa facilities and I did not like the fact that the mini bar was empty. The club lounge was far too busy and became very uncomfortable with families having to sit and eat off their laps without a table available. There was a problem with my car parking ticket which I had paid for up front but because I had used it to exit the car park the night before to collect from the airport it would not work the next morning. The lady on reception was rude and said I had not paid for the parking as part of my stay which I had but of course I was not told I could only use the validated ticket once. I stay at Heathrow airport twice a month and have been trying out all of the hotels, as being a travel agent it is in my interest to make myself familiar with them. I would recommend the Sofitel for it's appearance and room size but not much else. The Sofitel does not stand out as my favourite. I was impressed with the how clean the hotel was and all the staff I met were very happy and said Hi with a smile.

We had exceptional service throughout on our one-night stay at Sofitel before an early flight. We chose Sofitel because of its perfect location – connected to Terminal 5, though thanks to outstanding soundproofing, we heard absolutely no air traffic noise. We were upgraded to a large room with a very comfortable king size bed and top-of-the-line amenities. Our dinner at La Belle Époque was superb, with exquisite food and first-rate wait staff. We will recommend Sofitel London Heathrow and be back!

We stayed at Sofitel for one night as a result of a cancelled flight, and it was definitely relieving after the exhausting experience at the airport. Quiet, comfy, luxurious, lovely! We were able to regain energy after a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast. The staff was very kind at all times, too. I'd come back any time, no doubt.

Super luxurious place. Room amenities are plentiful. However, I don't like the fact that they charge for Wi-Fi after a certain period.

Very well placed for T5 just a 5 min walk to departures. Very comfortable rooms and good selection of food and drink options. While the hotel has been open for a few years the standard of maintenance very high and could easily pass as only opening last month.

Once again we had a one night stay at the Heathrow Sofitel in Terminal 5 and the rooms as always are so quiet, clean and lovely. This hotel for us is well worth the money. We had the breakfast and it was by far the best buffet we have ever had in all of our travels. The food choices are wonderful from Indian, to Oriental to the ultimate full English breakfast. We loved it! We also took the free shuttle from the White Horse pub and they brought us back to the hotel. Love that 15th century pub so close by. Was a wonderful overnight stay and the staff is the best.

We would never rate this hotel as 5 Star. May be 3-4 Star. Average room disappointingly facing the internal hotel lobby (and this was an upgrade! ) Only stayed one night so didn't ask to change room. One Reception staff very unhelpful. A very long walk wheeling suitcases from T5 and unattractively decorated.

This is a two star hotel at best. The hotel is difficult to find within the airport, the food is barely average, and it is understaffed. For a chain with such a nice reputation, this hotel is missing many amenities that should come with a four or five start brand.

Deceptive reservations booking practice! I booked this hotel for an overnight stay for the 27th of April. Location is clearly great for an early outbound flight. I went to the Sofitel website to book travel. Was given 130 pounds for arrival on the 27th and departure on the 28th. Clicked book and received a splash screen that clearly stated overnight stay. All good. For some reason I read the terms at the very bottom of the splash page and it contradicted my reservation by stating it was NOT for overnight but same day stay. Nowhere else was this stated in my reservation – in the process of making or confirmation I received. I called the reservation desk at the hotel and they stated it was a known issue and apologized that then promptly told me to get an overnight stay it would be 205 pounds.

Because we had missed our connecting flight, we have taken here in the short term a room. Cheap is different, but the room was very large, clean and chic décor. The breakfast buffet was really great and the selection simply huge. As the hotel directly is at Terminal 5 (yet very quiet! ) to save itself as an annoying search plus the taxi rides.

Perfect for spending the night before a flight the next morning. Walking from the hotel straight to Terminal 5 is a great convenience. Rooms are accordingly often on the pricey side but are very comfortable.

Attached to Terminal 5 at Heathrow this is a perfect hotel for the high-end business traveller getting an early morning flight out of Heathrow. Great service when you check in and the rooms are large. Little disappointing for a business travel hotel that Wi-Fi still needs to be paid for but that is a minor quibble to an overall good but too short stay.

This hotel is just in the Heathrow Terminal 5. We slept here cause our flight was cancel. The hotel is definitely a five stars hotel. You have TV on the bath, TV with pc interfaces in the wall, the best bed I've ever slept and very relaxing and comfortable seats.
