Disgusting way to treat your African American guest who paid to stay at your facility. Highly don’t recommend staying here. They are racist and indicate severe bias!

I booked to stay here with my sisters using my tescos vouchers. Due to the Pandemic my holiday was cancelled so didn't need the hotel. They refused a refund. When asked for a review, I sent it in then received an email saying not going to be used. I won't use Novotel ever again. Think it's appalling to take advantage of people through no fault of their own.

Great hotel, helpful friendly staff/service. Excellent bar, comfy beds would definitely recommend.

We came at the last minute, good deals available. All staff observed the social distancing and wearing masks Food and drink menus were good. Beds were comfortable and showers were wonderfully hot! Helpful service throughout and dedicated to pleasing you! Thanks.

We stayed at the hotel before and were really impressed with the service we’ve received so we went back to the hotel restaurant for a family dinner. What to say. So tasty! A great dinner! We’ll definitely visit the hotel and the restaurant again very soon.

Food overpriced and poor quality don’t have the club sandwich dry chicken no boiled egg and bacon looked about 3 weeks old … fortunately when we complained they took it off our bill however over £7 for two halves of lager.

We stayed on a Saturday night before our Sunday flight from Heathrow. Room was clean and quiet. It was an Italian buffet in the restaurant & really reasonably priced. As I can't eat gluten I feared that there would be nothing I could eat. However, the staff were really helpful & there were clear signs on each of the dishes showing the allergen content. There was a lot of choice, I ate soup (delicious), seafood salad, sea bream & lots of salad and plenty of gluten free bread. The only option I could eat for dessert was fruit salad. However, the staff went out of their way for me & brought me a mountain of sorbets to eat with it. The whole meal was delicious. My son & husband really enjoyed their food too. Well done & thank you to the restaurant team you are doing a great job!

Awful customer service, not answering phones, no apologies, unhelpful. Ruined our plans so had to cancel our day trips to London. All about the money not customer service or well being.

Hotel was great, just what we needed for an overnight stay before a long morning flight. Nice pool so you can let the family enjoy their last night, and good cider so you can too! The shuttle service (independent from hotel) was a bit weird. They were not selling tickets at the hotel desk—they referred us to a machine that did not work. We could pay on the bus, but would have needed to change more money on our last night, so we bought the tickets online. I have had less complicated foreign visa applications. Instead of just an e-mail address, we had to upload a jpeg picture of the person buying. There were several stops along the way, so factor in additional time, as there was some construction along the way.

The hotel personnel were helpful. Breakfast was average. The exact same food was available every morning. It was too far from central London. We had to take a bus to the Heaththrow terminal to catch the underground. It took us 1 and 1/2 hours to get to the center of London. I would recommend it only if you rent a car to get around and you are visiting for a few days. All in all is was good for your buck.

Room and breakfast were average for the price, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, even though it was late night and we booked barely an hour before. We stayed here for one night due to its conveniently close location to Terminal 5.

Was there this year and 2016, It was a nice to be there. We chose Novotel for the good offers with Chessington park and because of the swimming pool (extra entertainment for the children). Good clean conditions nice employees always available and helpful. Great breakfast! I was surprised (didn't look right) the reception place missing, and this gave the place the idea of low cost and this in my opinion makes it a bit less than previous year. The swimming pool great but maybe needs a bit more venting the chlorine in the air made me suffer even the next day. The same as above about the car-park tax!?

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! I highly recommend it. Exceptional service. Corina is wonderful we were greeted by her and her knowledge in the morning for breakfast. I don’t review a lot, but I do everytime the service and experience are amazing. 5 star review!

For some reason the 'mobile check in' looks modern but takes needlessly much time. Corporate rates are mysteriously not applied while booked through the company. Room facilities may not function, like my toilet wouldn't flush — not 'sudden' issues but clearly simply not fixed. Staff is friendly however. But management really should be replaced with people understanding customer experience and process efficiency. Received a fairly rude response to this review stating that explaining the way booking was done made it take long. My question this time indeed must have impacted general speed on previous occasions as well… If they had explained at the desk, I wouldn't still be e-mailing with customer support who created a loyalty account without asking and who have not responded for 4 days now. We don't do our own bookings, so I have no idea why it didn't work. Here's an idea: if you notice a weird way of booking let the account manager contact the booking department. We book thousands of rooms per year with you. The way responding to reviews is handled makes it all the more clear: this place needs new and customer experience focused leadership. Aug 7th: I received a response from Customer Care. Asking about my upcoming stay and which hotel?! It seems communications are not read at all.

Maybe it was just my room, but my stay was average at max. The rooms are clean and tidy, but it needs a major re decoration. It's like stepping back in the 80's. The reception is modern and fit for this century. Breakfast is really good. Staff super helpful as you would expect.

Your management team is not visible and when they are, they are slumped in the chairs in reception. Your restaurant staff are embarrassingly bad, we didn't get cutlery for one single dinner without getting up, looking for staff and begging for it. The bar staff were nowhere to be seen at lunch time and had to be searched for. Neither set of staff ever came armed with the knowledge of what the soup of the day etc was or if the chef could accommodate dietary requirements. The kitchen ran out of mushroom ravioli on the Thursday and never replaced it so for three nights the Vegetarian in our party had to eat the same thing — joyful experience. Your pizza oven or equipment in which you make the pizzas is not functioning correctly as half the pizza comes out burnt and the other half almost raw, also the pizza had neither Parma ham nor chestnut mushrooms on it, both were bog standard normal varieties — rip off of note. Finally the food and service was so poor, we ended up eating at the Crowne Plaza on our final night because they at least offer a full menu and cheerful, competent staff.

Very good hotel for that price. One of the receptionist speaks Spanish and is're really nice. Highly recommended!

It was a very nice hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms although a little bit cared for in the maintenance.

Decent hotel. Good restaurant and bar, for a Novotel. Friendly and courteous staff, clean rooms. The drawback is it's location… a strange twilight ground of both too far from the airport for convenience (a 5 pound ticket is required for the airport shuttle) and too far from London proper to be practical for a business traveller. You could do far worse in finding an overnight spot before your flight, but otherwise it's isolation and lack of Pokemon go gym or pokestops would make me think twice.

I made use of a meeting room and the atrium coffee shop. Both were excellent. Also adequate parking. I would recommend this location for meetings close to Heathrow. Excellent and friendly staff.

We stayed here on our visit to London and legoland. The staff on reception were brilliant so warm and welcoming and the start of our holiday lovely. Marta was excellent she was so lovely and welcomed our little family to the holiday. Pool is a little cold but once you are swimming it's all good. The rooms are very spacious will definitely stay here again.

Had loads of fun… Always a great time but some of the new attractions… You literally have to walk about a mile just to get through the Que… Also there is moss growing on some of the lego features. I understand sun fading and age etc but dirt… Nope.

Descent hotel. Big rooms, but a little dated. However, quite easy to book, check in etc. Not walking distance to anything. But good location for airport hotel.

Stayed here 20 March 2018. Terrible. Room was very hot and air conditioning was inadequate. Thermostat would not turn on enough the a/c. I followed the instructions exactly. I was awake most of the night. Room 129. This hotel is all about saving money on electric and water at the expense of guest comfort. (Toilet didn't flush like every other toilet in UK either. ) This is the only place I've seen where the thermostat doesn't display the current room temp. Because they don't want you to know. It must have been 30° I want to save resources like everyone else, but at £100 per night I also want some sleep! Staff was very friendly checking us in. No complaint there. The restaurant was ok but not great. Dinner for 3 at £56 for 2 basic pizzas and noodle dish and 2 drinks. In a hotel, sleep is the number one priority, all else is second. We have an all day travel schedule today on little sleep. Also, the toilet was in a separate room from the sink even though there was a shower AND a separate bath tub (with shower wand). Can't wash hands after using the toilet unless you walk across the room. They could've designed things much better.

Novotel pretty basic, the infrastructure is not very nice, well if you have to spend a night near the airport.

For Wi-Fi and swimming pool?!?!?!

Parking is opposite the hotel and secure. Very spacious central plaza which houses the bar, restaurant and seating. Check in is very easy as there is no desk but just people around with phones that are very happy to help. Rooms are spacious, toilet is separate to the sink and bath. Could be a positive or negative, that’s personal preference. Room service is timely and there are quite a few options. Recommended for a Heathrow stay.

It is worth walking 3 minutes and take the bus line 288 which takes you to a metro stop, more than the hotel taxis.
The breakfast was very expensive.

My wife and I plus our dog have spent two nights at the Novotel Heathrow in the last month. Everything about this hotel is ideal for anyone needing to go to Heathrow. The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff are wonderful, attentive, helpful and friendly. The food also scored top marks with us, we ate dinner, breakfast and snacked in the bar area, too. We'll done and thank you to the Novotel Heathrow team, we highly recommend you.

Me and my 11 year old son love staying here for a break occasionally. Really friendly staff, lovely clean rooms and the food in the restaurant is fabulous! Really good selection too. They also have a really lovely pool which is a favourite of my son's.

What a great hotel, by chance we had to stay there. Friendly staff, the pool is great and it is quiet. We'll be back.

Lovely place to stay, staff friendly and nothing too much trouble, good value for money and not overpriced in the bar and resteraunt. Had family room which slept 4, double bed was very comfy best night sleep I’ve had in ages, no outside noise, toilet and shower separate which is great for sharing a room with three other people. Close to airport. Didn’t get chance to use the pool but looked lovely. All in all would totally recommend this hotel to stay in. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful lobby area. Rooms felt damp and old. I couldn't determine if the clerk was hotel security or a host. The hotel main doors lock at a certain time of night. They don't tell you that on check in. You can go out the door but can't get back in. The hosts/security looks at you as you panic and try to locate the bell. Then they let you in. Strange. The hotel was useful for just one night stay. I felt uncomfortable like in the movie "Get Out"! Employees were smiling, robotic but not really present.

Paying with Maestro does not work!
You get told that the card is to blame, then you are put to the in-house ATM and you want to withdraw money and it has only a limit of 250 pounds and does not work!
Water from the pipe stinks of chlorine, like from a pool, drinking is not recommended!
Toilet licks and you get wet feet!
Toilet is clogged, Klobessen is not known here either!
Instead of a steak, you get a chop!
Main course comes before the starter!
A quick dinner is developing into a three hour farce!
Soup of the day is some zermixtes vegetables, which you can find just like that every day!
Beer from the tap is also a big problem, first there is what you do not want, then you order another and get again some other one that you had not ordered?!
At breakfast you will not be asked for his room number all week but on Friday the last day and then you would like to see a reservation!
Air conditioning in the room cannot be turned off and the fan is running constantly!
Breakfast should start at six o'clock, when you arrive punctually there is little to nothing prepared, not even the coffee machine works properly!
Everything connected with that you have to talk stupidly at first and then a second employee is brought to the same then you have to explain again and this constantly with every little thing!

We loved our rooms, our welcome was lovely. The girls that checked us in were amazingly efficient We had a relaxing drink and snack food after a very long flight. The lovely lady at the bar certainly looked after us. Breakfast and staff were very accommodating. We highly recommend the Novotel Airport hotel. The next morning when we wanted a taxi to collect our hire car they were so helpful and efficient. We will use this motel again on our return to the UK.

I went down to ask for towels and bedding and to place a food order. We chose things with 24 hour symbol. Half an hour later we had not received anything. I went down again and this time somebody brought up towels and bedding but no sign of the food. So I went down again to be told that the kitchen was closed. However, a helpful employee said that he could do a pizza. We did get a pizza but we had to wait another twenty minutes. It was almost 1.30am before we got some food. Breakfast was good.

Overall experience I got to say that your Hotel was very disappointing. Here is why: Restaurant Staff, night shift, unfriendly, poor service and food was awful! The Waitress rather set the Table than serving 8 People at the Table, we had to call her over, during a Time it was not busy. Pasta that my Friend ordered was not eatable, not even a Dog would eat something like that, yet when we complained about it, there were no apologies about it. And service even during the entire night was simply put not professional and not attentive, missing drinks, having to remind them several times about it, serving a "Hot Chocolate" cold, when asking to re-heat it, the drink was taken back and never served again. Instead of being heated up and then served. You're House Rules of not being able to swim in the Pool when being alone does not make sense, meaning I can enter the Pool (Which is the Size of a Kids Pool) but if I am alone, I am not supposed to swim, that is just plain stupid and not acceptable rule you got! On Sunday, when an Event which I was part of, was still on, your Event Staff found it appropriate to be disruptive by guiding other Guest's through the Hotel, being noisy and talking loud. I was thinking to hold an Event at your place, but after that experience and the disrespect and unprofessional behaviour of your Staff, I will for sure not make the Mistake to do that.

Overall my stay was what I wanted ahead of an early flight. Check in was straightforward and friendly, although I did have to prompt for information on registering for room service — rather than this being anticipated by the staff. Room was comfortable and a good size. Bed was fine as was the bathroom. A foldaway bed was fully assembled next to the main bed — despite the booking being for a single occupant — not a deal breaker but obviously made the room less spacious than it might have been. On my arrival there was no remote for the TV — quickly remedied when I called reception but another example of a missed detail. Ordered room service meal — no issues with this — selection, quality and delivery all fine. Didn't use any other hotel facilities so can't comment on these. Check out was very straightforward and quick enabling me to get away on time for an early flight.

Check-in was quick once it started (though had to wait a few minutes before another staff member came through). Asked for, and got, a top floor room. Room 358 itself was comfortable, but showing signs of age (marks on carpet, very grubby light switches, etc). Bedding was good. Bar and restaurant area was perfectly comfortable, though ambient music was a bit too loud for us. As is usual in these places, drinks are very expensive. All the staff we dealt with were very helpful and obliging… that part was excellent. All in all, pretty good for the members price paid.

I stayed at the hotel for Andy Harrington's Public Speaking University training. It was super convenient to have a room at the same place, without having any commuting times to another location. All staff members were very helpful, approachable and friendly. A few could do with a bit more smiling at customers, but they were still doing their jobs well. My room was very comfortable, bigger than my bedroom at home, the bathroom and toilet were in great working order and I loved to see the sunrise in the mornings. I was missing one or two more drawers in the room for storage, but it wasn't something I would rate a place down for. I would like to thank everyone for their great service and will recommend you to people as a great place to stay if they have to stay over at or near Heathrow.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it clean, modern, loved the bar area which had a sports TV but also music playing. Whilst we sat the kids could choose to sit with us or chill in the kids area which had xbox. Free wi fi for kids tablets. We combined with legoland which is only roughly 20mins away depending on traffic. They have a small swimming pool for a quick dip and maximum 1.3m so great for kids with lots of woggles. (Kids must be supervised). Downside was changing room is 1 small room with 1 shower and awkward lockers that you need to key code so we had to wrap small towels around us and shower in our rooms. We only ate breakfast here but I was super pleased with the gluten free options. Separate tongs for everything and trays. Gf Breakfast (bacon, fried, scrambled, boiled eggs, grilled Tom's, mushrooms, beans and gf bread upon request. Day 1 it came out pre toasted, day 2 with staff not as clued up pointed to a large catering toaster. As soon as I mentioned cross contamination she took into kitchen and bought back 5mins later. 3 coeliacs v happy. Lots of juice, teas, coffees. Bedroom was spacious for 2, but a squeeze for 4 once sofa bed put out (which we did ourselves and had to request bedding which I attempted to put on myself). Maid cleaned after night 1 and did a gr8 job. Overall would definately recommend.

We arrived late in the day and were promptly greeted and quickly settled in our room. We had 2 young children with us and had ample room. The buffet breakfast was great, they even provided us a take out box for the kids to take some fruit and pastries for their journey. Loved the kids play area in the reception area. Fast check out. Car park was a good size and we easily found a space, can I suggest including the price of parking in the cost of the stay.

Hotel only in modern appearance thanks to a modernized desktop reception. The rooms, in fact, are old both to the view and to the smell.
The event that really annoyed me is the ' apparent ' impossibility to be able to buy in reception the shuttle ticket to the airport paying by credit card. I didn't have enough pounds to pay on the bus so I would be forced to buy at least £10 at the automatic Machine (Commission of 1, €84). In fact the automatic machine of the company Nationals Hoppa was active but a sign said "not working". Solution: I dodged the paper and I still made the ticket to the automatic machine. I would like to know from Novotel why it was not possible to buy the ticket.

We were in a room for 3 people only for one night. We arrived at approximately 22:30. The hotel was very nice and the room was very good and the location was very small. But everything else is in order.

Ideal location for a trip to legoland, we sprung extra for a suite and loved it. Super spacious with outstanding air conditioning that really worked — a rarity for hotels in my experience. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. The food was OK but that's going to be a personal taste. I'd recommend this hotel and stay again.

Stayed for a 3 day seminar. I arrived at 07h00 on the first day and was allocated my room immediately. The room is very comfortable, the buffet lunch good and the seminar facilities & catering superb. Highly recommended…

Large, comfortable rooms with good technology — especially in the exec rooms which are not very expensive to upgrade to. Good food and a comfortable, inviting bar area. Staff friendly, Wi-Fi is of a good speed and is free. Most people will use this hotel before their holiday — this review is as a business traveller, for which I cannot fault this hotel. The breakfast is tasty and varied, too.

Overall good service with friendly staff. Only problem is the room safe does not fit a large sized laptop. Tablet, sat nav etc will fit though.

Specifically, I wish to commend a young man named Anthony who was on desk duty on the evening of the 2nd December 2014 I was not a guest at the hotel and I was trying to locate Purple Parking. However, my navigator had failed and I was lost in the area of the Novotel Hillingdon Hotel on a cold, wet and windy night I entered the hotel and asked if the staff could assist me. Anthony was very, very helpful and he printed out the correct directions. His action certainly will stay with me forever. Accordingly, I have book marked the Novotel Hillingdon Hotel for my future requirements. Thank you Anthony Neil.

Great hotel. Went beyond expectations.

Four kids plus 2 adults in a joined room in mid June. We were visiting Legoland and stayed here for 2 nights. Travelling from Gatwick airport the access to the Hotel was easy as it close to the motorway. The car park had plenty of spaces maybe 60 in total and is secured with a barrier and security cameras. The reception, bar and breakfast/dining area are all in a large open area. The reception area is modern and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The staff are multilingual. French and Italian. Going by their badges. The rooms are very clean and fresh if maybe a little dated by separate toilet and shower spaces/rooms. However this is not a negative and is possibly more hygienic? All furnishings are modern and functional. There is a minifridge with water and tea/coffee. There is seperate air conditioning in the rooms which is controllable. Thankfully. It gets too cold! A good choice of TV channels. While the hotel is close to Heathrow the rooms were whisper quiet because of good quality glazing and we all slept very well. We were in rooms 158 and 160. The breakfasts were full English with plenty of everything and nice coffee. The kids were delighted with the pancake maker and Nutella. Novotel won some future customers! My wife and I were surprised by the ample breakfast. Expecting a continental type. I would definately recommend the breakfast. Also, there were a lot of flight crews staying here, and I assume they know a decent hotel when they see one?

Good quality full service hotel, close to airport, a much better option (and often a cheaper one) than any of the Travelodge/Premier Inn type places that are around Heathrow. Staff can be a bit variable, especially in the restaurant, but generally good. Food is OK, not the cheapest though which I guess is to be expected given location. French influence not the strongest in this area. Breakfast good. Rooms are comfy if a bit cramped if you have a family, telly is a bit rubbish though (sort out those aspect ratios, guys! ). Odd separation of toilet from rest of bathroom, means you have to walk through room to wash your hands after a poo. Odd. Also, frosted glass door on bathroom faces directly into room so if you want to get up and shower etc. Without disturbing anyone else still sleeping; tough, they'll be blinded. Playroom for kids is good and little courtyard gives them chance to stretch their legs. Both times we've visited the kids have been given a small toy on check-in — nice touch. The fact there is a free swimming pool and gym is nice for the price, although the pool was very chlorinated the last time we visited. If you have a car, remember to budget £10 per night for parking. Having said that, many hotels within 15 miles of Heathrow have similar policies so considering the Novotel is so close it's not too bad. Overall a very decent place to stay, quite relaxing.
