Heating in summer! Very hot in room, staff can’t sort it out!
3 star hotel? I doubt it!
No lamp shades! Bed is horrible too!
Windowses is not opening! Horrible! Too hot!
I know it’s cheap, but still — expected a bit better for price!
At the chek in staff looked suspicious about prices. I didn’t see any information on website about key deposit or extra for the parking.
Won’t recommend it at all!

I Know a friend who's happened to need the help for social /housing through no fault of her own! And was placed in, Heathrow lodge. Now because she's complained of Hugh cockroaches in her room… Have decided to say she's smoking in the room to her agency an thrown her out, I've spent alot of time with this woman an knows she been going out not to be in the room. I came today an water peeing all out ceilings an absolutely stinks? Could only smell damp let alone any smoke. This place reminds me of faulty towers. So this is just some if the reason's I'd not recommend Heathrows-tower's!

Very basic, definitely get what you pay for but it's clean and comfortable and the staff seem friendly enough too.

Cheap and cheerful, on site parking (£5 per day) or road parking which is free after around 5 or 5.30 pm.
The rooms are a good size, basic amenities, no television but cosy. The room has a full length mirror, generous closet space and there's a heater if you are visiting on a cold winter's day. The rooms are noce and clean. Highly recommended if you are on a budget and want to stay in or close to London.

Good place to stay but they could put a kettle in the rooms we go once a month for work n we really need a coffee in the mornings.

Just what we needed. Stayed here the night before going on holiday so we would be close to the airport. Had a shared bathroom but was regularly cleaned so not much of a problem. Free airport shuttle service very useful and the driver was very friendly.

After 30 hours travel from N. Z. We thought it prudent to have a nights sleep before continuing our journey by car. The place is cheap, relatively clean with adequate facilities. Basically you get what you pay for. The only real down side is the noise from aircraft taking off. That night the flight path was directly over head and the sound of planes in full throttle every 60 seconds or so was incredible. It must be said that the aircraft movements are restricted, so no noise between midnight and 06:00 hrs. Light sleepers beware, aircraft enthusiasts, this is the place for you.

We booked this because of the proximity to the airport and it was cheap. The receptionist was polite and friendly, he walked us to our rooms that were in another building… the first warning sign was probably the doors to the rooms, they were marked as fire resistant with a sticker but you could see under a few of them. The bedding was clean, the room was not however. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everything going on around you. The shared bathroom did not have a soap nor did it have a towel. They said it would be cleaned twice every day but they never cleaned it while we were there even after we asked them to clean it after we saw that someone had an "accident" on the floor that had gotten smudged a little bit… it was still there when we left. The guy that drove the shuttle was very nice and helpful though.

Worst lodging experience of my life. Mold in the room, broken furniture, extremely unfriendly staff, everything was stained and unclean. The carpet had a huge stain on it that I hope was from water. Almost everything was partially broken. The room was a few pounds cheaper than the next alternative — don't do it! It's the sort of place you worry about bed bugs, lice, or something else communicable. Clearly just a low budget trap with no maintenance what so ever, no toiletries, and very poor service. Sleep in a park or a car before you go here. The owner responds to the above review that I should have contacted reception. I was in a room in a house down the street, which upon looking over other reviews, seems to have garnered more frustration than that noted by guests who stayed in the main building. I came in a bit late — just after midnight. When I checked in, the front desk person looked sligtly annoyed to have to check me in, but did so, and gave me directions to the house. I attempted to find the house, but returned to the front desk because I was worried about trying my key in the door of a private home at 12:30 in the morning, as I was unable to determine which house was the correct one. The front desk person then walked out to the street with me and pointed to the correct house, then walked off cursing me loudly enough that I could hear. I was cordial and polite throughout. So no, reception was not helpful with these issues.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at! I have never experience anything like this. Having stayed in hotels across the world this is the worst one by far. Got put in the house opposite. Had to share a disgusting bathroom (even though we payed for a private one). No sink in the room. Dirty carpets. All around a shocking experience.

The receptionist was friendly but the rooms we stayed in weren't very nice. The shower was weak and the whole place seemed quite run down. Reasonable price though and the beds were comfy.

Cheap and basic: you get what you pay for. Service is excellent, staff are very friendly, and the location is fantastic for Heathrow T5, but at £30 per night you shouldn't expect too much in terms of comfort. Quite a lot of noise to be heard from the other rooms and people coming and going on the hallway. When I stayed there it was quite busy which meant the shared toilet was a less than pleasant experience. My bed wasn't great, which springs that could be felt quite clearly. If you're looking for something cheap in a convenient location, this is for you. If you're looking for a comfortable and relaxed night's sleep, you should look elsewhere.

Had to sleep during the day and they did put me across the street in a normal house. The house was converted in rooms. The room had a window with an view to the landing strip of Heathrow where every 5 minutes a plane landed. This would have been really nice if you are a airplane spotter but not if you need to sleep. The chaired bathroom was OK as I was the only one in this house.

Literally does the job for a decent price. Bed was really quite lumpy but we arrived at 10pm and left at 5am so we barely noticed. Impressed by how little I noticed of the planes considering the close distance to the airport. Bus travel very convenient (432? ). Free to the airport via that route with buses starting at 4am-ish so even if the shuttle isn't running you still don't need to fork out for a cab.

Warm and near the airport, I thought £35 was a bit steep for the room. Cleanish and better than sleeping on a bench at the airport. You can hear other guests clearly through the walls, especially when they have a shouting argument at 01:00. I slept well in clean sheets.

Endless queue in reception, common areas and rooms of dubious cleanliness… Rather dirty. The only advantage is the proximity to the airport.

Excellent place to stay for one night before a flight. 3 minutes away from terminal 5 by free transport. Scarce bathroom facilities.

I booked a room for 1 person, private bathroom for 1 night. Location is amazing to Heathrow T5, free bus to and from airport, bus stop very close to the hotel. My room was clean, comfy and warm. The TV worked perfect, with plenty of channels. There was a Macdonalds and petrol station food shop about 5 minutes walk away. The private shower and toilet worked very good with nice hot water. I had towel, tea/coffee, kettle and soap. Bed was comfy. I would highly recommend for price and location. If you want or expect luxury this isn't it, for example there was some mould around window in bathroom and limescale on showerhead. It was very minimal (although noticeable), but for me for the price and the location it was not a problem at all. Staff were helpful. Again, this isn't a luxury hotel, but it is in my experience a very good one for the price and location.

Ideal If you should do night at the airport but very fair hotel.

An OK budget place to stay the night before taking an early plane. Beware that this hotel is very close to the airport so noisy planes will pass over. There are free buses that leaves every 20 min for Heathrow (no specific shuttles). Even if the hotel is near T5 don't try to walk… Not possible. Two pubs on the street if you're in need of a pint.

Pretty basic accommodation very close to Heathrow Airport. In a residential area, pub across the road pretty good. Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are basic but good. Lots of aircraft noise, can't be helped given the closeness to the airport. Cheap, cheerful and recommended!

The location of Heathrow lodge is ideal for stays before or after flying. The place is very basic but this is reflected in the price of the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

You talk to the people of the cleaning as if you were talking to the walls… osea… or case.

A stone's throw from Legoland and Heathrow airport this lodge which consists of a few houses converted into guest rooms is ideal for those looking for a cheap alternative to premier Inn. Sharing a bathroom is no bother, you get a sink in your room, but that's it. A bit of advice : take a kettle with you and some coffee and mugs. For this, it has to lose a star, but really can't fault it in terms of a place to rest your head. Plenty of places to eat close by. McDonald's just down the road, a petrol station and two nice pubs. The King's Head is highly recommended.

The Heathrow Lodge is convenient, but also more rural and takes at least an hour to get to the city. The Wi-Fi was in our house (there are two opposite houses) not available and in the ' main house ' the Internet cost four pounds per day. That was not indicated. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very good. When on the last day the room service made the room, which included a new soap and towel, no bed making or empty trash cans etc, my wallet, which was in the room, was no longer there. When I then went to the main building to the Porter to ask if a purse was handed out, this was very rude and threw us out, so to speak, when I had to phone with the police or authorities. He was extremely uncooperative and only under heavy requests to move to the Internet again (my money was gone, so I had no more four pounds to pay for it) or the address of the German Embassy to choose. In the end, you can stay at the Heathrow Lodge cheaply, but except for the price does not speak much for it.

An ideal place to stay one night near Heathrow Airport.

It was exactly what we needed… a bed and a shower. It is definitely like it's description… no frills. But it was great… friendly staff as well as very quaint local bars to get great food and drinks. I would recommend to anyone. But be prepared Americans… there is no a/c in the room as well as no TV. Windows only for air circulation. But it was perfect weather so it was no big deal to my group. Also a community shower and toilets. But VERY clean. So if you want to sight see all day and just sleep somewhere, this is you're place!

Unlike the as description states, there is no shuttle. However a bus to Terminal 5 departs nearby. I found the hotel quiet and the room clean.

This was only a cheap overnight before an early flight the next day, we ended up getting taken to a semi-detached house down the road with 4 bedrooms and a shared toilet, which was odd but not bothered. Didnt really sleep while there because there was very poor soundproofing with the planes taking off at Heathrow (the premier inn just down the road by contrast is very quiet), the heater was on for some reason so the rooms were boiling and opening the window to let the heat out massively increased noise also the lights in the bathroom and halls were on motion timers and went off after 5 seconds regardless.

Careful when googling the house. It can send you to OLD bath road, instead of Bath Road. Which happened to me. Had to get a £60 taxi. When arriving at the hotel, suddenly the booking was cancelled, so stressed about that. The the hotel messed up, booked a room with 2 separate beds but ended up having one with a double bed. OK fine tired went to sleep. Did get free Wi-Fi "complimentary" and the shower had a lot of black mold in it. Also the water smells and tastes like chlorine.

The room was clean, small but good sized for 1 or a couple, and the shower was hot/good pressure but that was the smallest bathroom I've ever been in for a hotel. The shower was as wide as me (and I'm a small person) so larger people can't physically shower plus it was practically on top of the toilet, got the whole bathroom wet. Also the Wi-Fi sucked, hardly worked and when it did, the connection was poor. But we were there for only 2 nights, so it wasn't horrible. Staff was friendly!

Conveniently close to Heathrow airport. Comfortable room but my room smelt a bit musty. My room was on the ground floor and I was woken before 3am by the sound of footsteps in the room on the floor above.

Heathrow Lodge is fairly close to the airport, and the fact that the free bus 423 connects them is pretty convenient. The hotel is fairly clean, but the staff wasn't very helpful. The wait to check in was long to check in. Also we were only given a comforter for sheets, and when I tried to ask for more sheets, no one was there. After waiting a bit, I just gave up. The Wi-Fi costs 4 pounds, and there's no breakfast. When I flipped through the channels, porn stations were oddly mixed in with the regular ones. Fortunately, the hotel was only around thirty pounds. It was by far the cheapest in the area.

Very basic but the price was also very basic. Stayed in annex to main hotel with basic room with shared bathroom. Was a terraced house converted to multiple occupancy. Decor as original house, windows etc needed cleaning, no female sanitary facilities in bathroom. No kettle etc in bedroom.

Welp. You get what you pay for. A cheap room, roof over your head and not much else. Service was good and polite though. My house rental thing could have used a renovation for the washroom. Shower was very weak and floor was awful. Windows didn't keep out noise from the planes and no netting meant bugs in your room. I also came during a heat wave or something. So very warm nights. My tiny room didn't have air circulation so my sauna didn't let me sleep. Rather I passed out from heat exhaustion. But if you are economically minded, I haven't seen a better deal. This place is also very close to the airport, so departures are very easy.

The worst hotel ever, disgusting dirty, rude staff, TV in room not working, cheap and nasty Stey away! Pay a little bit more money and Stey somewhere nicer. Awful place so glad I didn't have my wife and children with me.

The only real advantage of this place is being close to Heathrow airport. Rooms from the air all too cheap and experienced, toilet size cabin of the ferry, shower as large as a locker, Wi-Fi for a fee and only in public areas, parking equally paid, cleaning questionabile… and it's not even as cheap as everything Said would suggest.

Stayed here for one night was quite overpriced for what you get, the beds are uncomfortable, you get a 1 pillow for a double bed and when we went to ask for more the man said that they didn't have any, don't be fooled when choosing the shared or private bathroom because the private one is so small that you have to hunch when taking a shower, also the shower curtain was missing and they charge for Wi-Fi. Good points — fairly clean.

The room is clean and cozy for me!

£65 for a room with no TV and no breakfast, that's robbery. My money went down the drain will not come back ever again. Robbing bustereds.

The only thing I have to say is, the bath tube water doesn't have enough pressure, so, take time to bath ourselves. The rest, I can't complain, it was my last solution in time.

This is the second time I am staying at Heathrow lodge, very basic rooms but clean and functional, good price for location.

Let me start this off by staying that I believe this is the first 1 star review I have ever given. And on top of that I'd give it a half star if I could. The lodge owns some properties across the street and if they start to lead you there you mine as well have spit on your money and burned it. It's a collection of townhouses with communal bathrooms. There were 4 bedrooms per townhouse, none of them had ac, tvs, there was no hot water, and the staff was just about as rude as could be. On a separate note from the rooms and staff it took me and my grandfather 1.5 hours just to get a room, and we even booked ahead of time. Even the next day, staff was almost unbearable. I would recommend camping on the sidewalk over this place and would never stay here again.

Very cheap single rooms. Bit of scuffing on walls from customers luggage but apart from such cosmetic problems the place is clean. The only issue I had during my whole stay was two loud girls making noise at 1am — 5am, and I can't really blame the Heathrow Lodge for that.

Dirty rooms, useless fire alerts in the middle of the night, no SKY (PayTV) as they offered. Not even satellite tv! Just 6 or 8 local channels like BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4 and some itv's.

One word: bedbugs. I woke up with bites all over my arms and shoulders. Now normally at a budget hotel I wouldn't complain about things like: the loose board in the bathroom which had been badly covered over with laminate, the bare cable wire shoved into the back of the TV, etc. But these other examples show a general lack of care in maintenance that makes me very skeptical that they will adequately deal with the bedbug problem. Every object in every room in the affected building has to be properly treated to get rid of them. It takes a lot of time, and a lot of money to do that. Any hotel, even the swankiest, can get bedbugs and it wouldn't make me not recommend them because a good hotel will treat the problem. Every sign says that ain't gonna happen here, so future travelers beware.

Proximity to air terminal. We were there to meet family flying in. Friendliness of staff and free shuttle in the morning was great. Good for plane spotters too.
