Bad smell, good attention, good location. It does not offer breakfast services… It has parking for two cars in total. We were able to use one the days we stayed there.

Great price for a family room. Spacious and clean. Sorted out parking.

Very small and not much of service. Hostel. But close to airport though.

Organised place. Close to heathrow by bus. I had to make them clean some spider webs from the ceiling which they did as a favour.

The men that worked/ owned the house had very bad English. There is no proper sign outside, it only says 165 applehouse in very small letters. The taxi service they associate with are very slow and do not have good English. Located in a disadvantaged area. Room was clean, however you would be better off in a B&B or hotel, it would be worth the extra few pounds.

Two weeks ago I needed accommodation for a very early flight from Heathrow. Despite the claim that the guesthouse is just a mile from the airport, I was ripped off by a licensed taxi driver for 20 pounds. Located up and down hills and in a dark, quiet residential neighbourhood, you cannot walk there, particularly dragging wa suitcase. The caretaker barely spoke English, not even understanding what a wake up call is. By phone, the absentee owner helped sort out the language issue and a taxi reservation for the next morning, but I would not recommend staying there.

What a disgusting and filthy room. Used underwear under the bed, toiletries left from previous tenant, hair all over the floor. Sink clogged up. Porter could not speak english. Overcharged for the room.

A very nice guesthouse, ideal for a stopover at Heathrow. Very clean rooms and the free Wi-Fi was really helpful. I would recommend it and ignore the old comments.

Very clean. Good Wi-Fi. Here are the things that drove me to a negative rating: I couldn't get any hot water out of the shower (maybe that is why it was spotless). Bed and "NO BREAKFAST" They charged me almost double what they advertise (because they could. Bad weather — stranded travelers)

Don't let your expectations run wild — bed & breakfast comes without breakfast, but then there are both cheap & EXPENSIVE hotels that charge for breakfast anyway (£6+ for a "continental" i. E. Pathetic excuse, breakfast), & this is HALF the price of a CHEAP hotel (&40 vs £80). You get what you pay for, so if you want a convenient stopover for one night before getting herded onto a Sleazy Jet (or fill in the blank) excursion, this is it. If you are a typical "economy" class citizen (like me) then this is "economy" class accomodation that I found clean, friendly, cheap, & convenient. You want stars, go to the Ritz. Oh, yes: if you are looking for bugs, I didn't find any, & it wasn't as noisy as some airport hotels! A definate "keeper" for frequent travellers!
