Great hotel, nice quiet location everywhere clean comfortable bed slept well. Check in any time or can do so online staff very nice. Breakfast included good food selection available. 24hr secure car park in front of hotel reasonable prices will stay there again next time I'm in London. Well done Hampton by Hilton.

No parking at the hotel. Need to park at public park across the street. Need to pay separate. Exit ticket should be provided by the hotel as a service! There is no save place to unload the car at the front of the hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Beds are good, bathroom was clean. Good for just one night or business. Breakfastroom is not very pleasant to eat quietly. It's a just passing by hotel.

Very friendly staff. Always clean rooms and good service. Would strongly recommend this place for travellers to London during off season, who don't mind travelling 15-20 minutes by train to get to Westminster.

On arrival Reception Staff were busy talking about Bank Holiday before serving me. Did not make me feel comfortable. On entering the room it was smaller than I expected. I noticed a vast amount of dust on and around the desk. The mirror was marked and dirty. Cigarette burn hole on the net curtain. I had to spend time to undo the telephone wire as it was tangled up and I could not extend it to a decent level to talk. I rang down to reception about 5 times before anyone responded as I waa asking about a hair dryer which was not in the room. Took a good 15 minutes before one was brought up to me. The corner bed base is lethal myself and Friend kept hitting into it and it really hurt when we knocked our shins. Very sharp and dangerous. A flashing bedside light. Really annying. In the bathroom somebody had got rid of chewong gum in the bin.

Good breakfast, I loved the bacon. Near the train. Good choice…

It was an ok experience. The room was a bit small and the duvet was a bit too light for me but it was warm and welcoming overall… The breakfast was ok but had limited choices. Would visit again if I had to and will recommend.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very nice and the room was very good and the breakfast was great. And an adorable price very satisfied.

Very modern hotel and short distance to walk to the Croydon station. I love the design of the room. It is a small room but the furnition is very nice. The sliding door for bathroom is very innovative. The use of space is admirable. I highly recommend this hotel for its location and modern design.

Quite sad really. As I head into my third night I am still waiting for them to fix both bedside lamps that are defective. There is a very limited choice of food and the cooked breakfast is for want of a better word abysmal. The room is otherwise ok and Teresa is an absolute star around breakfast time with an effervescent personality and a brilliant smile. Shame other aspects affect my review!

Nice room, if a bit on the small side. Breakfast is nice. Croydon has some nice places to eat. Don't even consider eating in the hotel for evening meal.

Absolutely brilliant for the price. Stayed in worse 4 star hotels. Will become my go to hotel for work. Room was clean and very well equipped. Good size. Excellent facilities for star rating and very convenient for my needs.

My experience going to the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Croydon was good, the staff were friendly, and the room was nice and the breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed drinking their Hot Chocolate, but the room was too small, and my family and I had to change rooms because something had come off from our room. The disappointing part for me and my family stay at the hotel was that their was no chef at all, my mother wanted to order food for myself and my siblings but their was no chef, so my mum and I had to go out and buy food. My family and I will not be coming back to the hotel at all.

Conference room was large, well equipped with free Wi-Fi. Team were friendly and helpful. Happy to run further workshops for classes of 30-40 delegates there again. The av staff were helpful and catering staff managed all client expectations. After 6 there is limited parking on the road for free. That is extremely rare in Croydon.

A bit messy at breakfast at rush time but otherwise an appealing hotel, price/performance etc.

Very well. Clean and functional room although a little narrow for three people. We were on the third floor. But everything is perfectly clean, the connection is good, the breakfast correct and my connection is fine. The staff is very friendly. Finally the hotel is a few steps from the train station which is very convenient to reach the center of London.

I enjoy the layout of my room. I was located on the 8th floor. What a amazing view. Breakfast was a nice touch! Front desk staff was I think their a guy name Joseph. He is fantastic, … Asian looking Guy. Request HIM.

The Hampton Inn was a great place to stay in the area — a short walk from the East Croydon station. Nice, modern room and bathroom and a good buffet breakfast with several warm and cold options and a coffee machine with lots of options. Friendly service and easy check-in and check-out.

Nice rooms, very modern. Good service too. Had a problem one morning and the staff offered me a free nice stay for my troubles. The Wi-Fi is definitely on the slow side, and when the hotel is busy, it's almost unusable. The breakfast is also quite poor. If they improved those things, it'd be 5 stars.

This was cheap for a Hilton but I'm coming to realize why. I put my parents here but I'm not sure I would do so again. Several things were just somewhat shabby — a broken kettle, a non-working light bulb, not enough towels provided for the number of guests, etc. The room is also very cramped. The breakfast was nice though. All in all, it's sufficient if you just want a bed and a shower. Probably worth it if you're trying to collect Hilton status points. I wouldn't stay again.

We stayed in a 3 persons room. The room was extremely small and tight. There was literally no room to open our suitcases. The air conditioning wasn't working either and we had a hot sweaty night in a tiny room. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as well. The coffee felt watered down and there was little option. The only thing interesting was their waffle machine. The hotel was near the shopping centres so it was quite convenient in terms of location.

Great service from reception, cant complain. Room was nice and had necessities. Really nice shower too. Was in a room on the very top floor and the bed was too hard for me, and squeaky so quite annoying. However, an easy hotel to find and good location. Literally 5 minutes from the station.

Rooms and bathrooms just redone, not huge but more than enough for optimum comfort. In the rooms there is no minibar. Breakfast OK, with enough diversity in the choice of foods. Very nice Staff.

Super hotel in TopLage Croydon, just 20 minutes with the national rail in the Centre of London. London Bridge or Victoria, where you can then change to the tube! But also to Gatwick airport or to Brighton… coming from here directly without change to.

A great hotel. Clean nice rooms with good facilities. Small but everything available. It is hardly ever in the room. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was class. The waffles were a highlight. The only some tables have jiggled. The hotel is located only a few minutes walk from the railway station, from there it is also relatively quickly in the city. We can only recommend the hotel and would book there again at any time.

Air conditioning in to doesn't work, window doesn't open far enough. Externaly noisy. Good breakfast, helpful staff, good clean shower.

Do not book this hotel if you need to park near the hotel. The website states that parking is available at a nearby NCP car park. That car park is closed for refurbishment and you are directed to another car park at the Whitgift Centre — 5 mins walk they said. It took me 10 but that's not the problem. I checked in and it took me 40 minutes to negotiate the traffic to the car park and walk back to the hotel. This entails an underpass which, although well lit, did have a couple of 'residents'. This should be made quite clear when taking bookings. You can park on the pavement outside the hotel while you unload your bags but then have to make your way to a car park. If you have more than a small case you'll need to retrieve your car before check out as opposed to carting luggage through the streets and shopping centre.

Stayed on a Saturday night. Good value with breakfast included. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Very close to the station (1-2 minutes walk if you use the back at entrance to the station). Takes about 20 minutes by train to reach central London. There is a regular service.

While not the closest to central London it is conveniently located near to a southern rail station. The staff is very helpful and the customer service is exceptional. The rooms are small but well appointed.

The Hotel is recommended in the large and whole. Heating in the room (air conditioning) did not work and the toilet room 412) is gone after the rinse water on the ground (. Breakfast was very good and right next to the hotel there is the "spicy china restaurant" where you get a 20% discount and very good eats. Staff is very nice and helpful. In the vicinity there is a large shopping centre and primark. These are easily reached by foot. London can be reached in 15 minutes by train.

Relatively quiet area. Directly in the surroundings of the station, Croydon, East is where you quickly into the centre of London. The journey to Victoria Station takes about 4.5 pounds. The rooms are small but you have everything you need. Bathroom: shower: no bath, no window. Double bed (1.60 m), TV (only English channels), a Desk, network access, wardrobe, electric kettle (incl. Instant coffee, Black tea, 2 cups, 2 glasses), iron. Wireless Internet: 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload, in some rooms reception is poor. We were welcomed by a very nice Lady, gave us immediately the feeling of welcome. Very attentive I found the greeting with the name, even though we just come in once and you could not basically know who we are. The room made a good impression. A little tight, it was the two of us. You had to look, and how you move through the narrow corridors. Unfortunately, the closet, the door of which was at the same time the door to the bathroom was solved — this means that either the closet or the bathroom was closed. In addition, support for this could be the claustrophobic impression of the room, since no one in the closet, "Potter", if you open the door to the bathroom. In the corridors in front of the rooms, it was always stuffy and it smelled unventilated. Partially, the smell was uncomfortable and it smelled of toilets. The room service was in order.

In the South of London. To reach with the tram in 15 min very good. Very friendly service staff. Barangestellte a little Intrusive. The Hotel makes a good impression. Facility damaged part. Bathroom modern. In the corridors, unpleasant odor. All in all the Hotel for a Short trip to London is recommended. Close by a small supermarket "my local". Here you can get super cheap Snacks.

The staff was wonderful to us, especially to my brother who has limited mobility. I don't know if it's English hospitality but everyone was lovely. The rooms are cozy compared to their North American counterparts but new and well maintained. The continental breakfast that comes with the room is noteworthy — the variety is limited but everything is fresh and cooked just right — bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tater tots, scrambled eggs. The coffee machines ensure that all coffee based beverages are brewed perfectly each time instead of relying on percolated coffee and urns.

Hello we would like to thank your people in general our stay last year from the 26th to the 29th of december was very nice, the room, good cleaning and very good breakfast to go to the tourist area very convenient, the station of the train very close and the buses also, even upon our departure which was very early we were offered coffee and muffins many thanks for your hospitality we very much recommend the hotel look forward to being with you again.

Conveniently located between both East and West Croydon stations.

The quality of breakfast is not the same with other Hampton hotels. Breakfast doesn't include any kind of cheese, and people preparing the breakfast are lying about their cheese stocks. They offer it for the customers of the restaurant. Besides, my room had no working AC. I don't recommend.

The hotel was clean and the room was nice, but small which I guess can be expected in London. The bar was great to get a late drink. The best feature was probably the distance to the train station, nice easy and quick walk to the East Croydon station. What I did not like about the hotel was the 1) the bed, it was INCREDIBLY firm! I have never slept on such a firm bed before. 2) the breakfast, the hot breakfast was not good so all I ate for a week was, waffles, cereal and toast. Overall, it was an okay hotel, but next stay I might try a different hotel.

20 mins from Gatwick and London. East Croydon station is a 5 min walk. Staff friendly (but a little crazy for living in this cold and wet weather! ) and rooms are small but clean and efficient (no really. You need your room key to turn on the lights. When you're gone they're off. Brilliant! ). 24 hr bar (yes please! (Don't expect a pub sized selection, 4 taps and half dozen bottles plus a few stronger beverages) ). Breakfast is good (UK bacon where have you been all my life!? and marmite is terrible) Locally Croyden is a great little town. Not far from Wimbledon, especially via tram. Service to London is frequent. Access to tram and London via Oyster is a god send! Overall great experience and I would stay here again. Edit: They will be opening an Asian Indian fusion restaurant on the first floor in about two weeks. Today is 22/02/15. Bummer I have to miss it. Guess in have another excuse to stay here.

Clean and decent rooms with comfy beds. Remember to mention you are parking across the street, as you can get a 25% discount. The receptionist was a right joker and did mention that it was just an ordinary hotel, much to the dismay of his colleague who did not agree and felt it is an upper class hotel.

Nice new hotel. Free Wi-Fi. Lovely view from the top floor. East Croydon train station is situated a minutes away.
