Checked in and got a free upgrade to a suite which was a lovely touch, they offered bottles of water and a free drink at the bar and I had some lovely food, all very nice, great staff and friendly hospitality. Can’t ask for more on a wet and dreary Thursday night after a 5 hour drive! Keep it up and now booking two more Hilton’s for Sunday and Monday.

And the chef even put extra effort to prepare a seperate breakfast for my son who is super allergic to certain food. After few days since we checked out. My son told me. I’ve always enjoyed this hotel, and I’ve stayed here many times but it’s changed recently with a new manager and it’s not the same and welcoming for me.
Disappointed that I’ll need to find another hotel, still plenty of other Hilton’s to choose from so will continue to stay diamond but not here.

Hotel is very dated and seems very run down. Carpets are dirty and there is a musty smell thru out. Won’t ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

We gathered as a family to celebrate a 94th birthday. The staff have been absolutely fantastic, nothing has been too much trouble service with massive smiles, courtesy and care. Thank you so much a lovely afternoon made very special because you put yourselves out. The team here are true ambassadors for the Hilton Group.

Staff were not knowledgeable enough about the area. Not 100 % courteous when faced with problems. Menu in pub very limited. Hotel needs a small newsstand with fizzy drinks and snacks. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Did not like the muffins but the crumpets were excellent. Coffee too strong. Was hoping to have an opportunity for afternoon tea.

Rooms were nice and breakfast was amazing. Convenient to bus system and railway.

Big clean room (thank you). Also a fridge, a safe, iron and board and hairdryer along with complimentary water, coffee and tea. Lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble, breakfast and evening meals very nice. Oh and I nearly forgot massive towels! Hope to stay again.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. When I arrived it was 6:45 pm. I proceeded to the front desk to Check in to be told that they needed to ring their supervisor to see of their long rooms were ready. Now as far as I'm concerned check started at 3pm. It's not nearly 7 o'clock I'm the evening and I find it unacceptable for my room not to be ready. The lady at the front desk then told me our room was not ready and I would I like to take a seat in their foyer and would I like a complimentary for the inconvenience. So I waited. The room was not ready until 10 past 7. The upgraded us to a luxury king. Which by way is not really any different to the room we had. The bath was still dirty and I found hair on the sheets. I understand that your their house keeping can be behind, but not that far behind at that time in the evening. There was also a few other people waiting also. So I presume they had the same problems. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we definitely won't be staying there again and the bed was really hard and the room was really cold.

The hotel is close to the railway station and it is easy to get there with a cab.
Rooms are simple with all the comfort you need.
The dinner was good and breakfast even better. The staff at the restaurant is also very nice and professional.

Went for a night event at one of their Halls seating 300 people. It was a great experience, climate control was excellent, the staff were very very efficient and nice, entertainment was top notch and the food and waiters\waitresses were great at their job and lots of parking with wheelchair accessibility. Five star rating from my point of view.

Afternoon tea in the Larder Room was a delightful treat from the beginning to the end. Giles was courteous and helpful from taking my telephone booking through to meeting and greeting us on our arrival. Omar provided a smiling finale when it was time to pay. We will be back!

Left my keys on the train, showed up at 12am for my booking. The young gentleman at reception was awesome. Honestly awesome. Checked me in super quick, with sympathy. Then offered me a toothbrush and shaving kit — which he delivered to my room. I also mentioned I was just thirsty, so he went to the bar and got me a pint of water, as well as a bottle for the room! Room was nice, if slightly old fashioned, large comfortable bed. Hilton are always pushing for “better”, and this is absolutely the best service I have received. I stayed the night of 15/5/18 — please recognise / reward the reception gentleman!

Excellent reception received by staff. Beautifully clean and staff went the extra mile. Went for study day and quality of lectures excellent. Hotel looked very inviting from outside and inside did not disappoint. Clean well maintained toilets. Good was of a very very good standard and tables clean and well managed. Excellent hotel which I would highly recommend.

Not being a customer of this type of hotel, I found it very welcoming and enjoyable. Small flat, the reception staff do not speak French or very little. But with a modest level of English we manage easily. Hotel located 30 minutes from downtown London.

Room has a slightly dated feel to it but the service is exeptional. Friendly staff, good food. The bed is comfier than in nearby hotels as well.

This place was amazing. I was staying here during an educational tour of Europe and it was one of my favorite places we stayed. Very comfy beds, nice tv's, and I absolutely loved the British long bath. AMAZING breakfast. Overall a great place. If I stay in southern England again, it will definitely be here.

The Hilton London Croydon has become one of my regular stops when working this side of London. Parking is great if your a Diamond member. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The food is always well prepared and generally good overall value for money. So last nights visit was a real disappointment. All of the above gets put to one side if you cannot have a good night sleep. I’m not a lover of locked shut bedroom windows at the best of times. However a functional air conditioning system makes the poor air quality acceptable. Last night was so uncomfortable I almost left the room in the twilight hours to cool off/get some fresh air, as my room temperature was unacceptable. I am sure the air conditioning is heating only. Setting the thermostat to full cooling high fan speed did nothing (in fact I’m sure the heat generated from the fan only added heat to the room rather than overcome the problem. Consequently I tried both options and switched the system off Need to do better next time Hilton Croydon.

Nice hotel with plenty of space. Hotel runs a shuttle bus to the station during the week but weekends best to get a taxi although you can get buses outside. Breakfast is brilliant.

Friendly staff at check in made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the doors. Lovely, well presented room with only one issue (bulb not working in bedside lamp) which was fixed within 5 minutes of reporting it to reception. Breakfast was superb with the bonus of a free glass of Prosecco thanks to my husband's diamond member status. Already booked to go back this month!

Great hotel with welcoming customer service. Secured parking and the food was excellent. Expensive but hey it's the Hilton. Recommended.

Fairly good Hilton hotel, more modern and better looking than others I have stayed in. Still needs a facelift but not too dated. The food is pretty good actually and the breakfast is very extensive, lots and lots of choices. The staff are helpful and pleasant.

Rooms are big which is why they get 1 star. The rooms are old and damaged. Disgusting stains on the carpets. The breakfast was mediocre and probably only tasted good at the beginning of breakfast service, we ate after 9am so my children and I all left our plates full and had to eat outside of the restaurant. 2 of the staff had bad attitudes. The kids and I didn't like the food for dinner at all, again we left our plates full. We planned to stay here for 2 weeks but left after 5 days to stay at the best western plus hotel which is a 3 star hotel but has way better service and rooms.

I must admit… this is a delayed review from 2years ago. However this isn't the kind of Hilton you would expect. In London Hilton's are good. Here in Croydon… well it's like shaving your legs with a potato peeler. I'm very dubious to go back. One more chance and all but I need this scab to heel first.

Location was great, very easy by car. I feel the rooms where nicely laid out and very comfortable. I requested room service at 4 am which came promptly. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

We paid for the standby upgrade offer. It was £33 per night but we ended up in a lovely room, a queen deluxe. Really friendly reception team. Easy access to parking. Nice hotel for the money. We'll certainly be returning.

Fantastic Hotel, rooms are good, facilities are modern but the two outstanding things of this place are the staff and the food. The staff are phenomenal 5 star everyone of them are friendly and professional. If you want to impress your family, friends or business partners the Hilton Croydon is the place to go. Once they get there the food is simply sublime the kudos to the chef everyone I eat there never have a complaint. AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! Go and see for yourself.

Unfortunately, more than dirty! As you can see in the pictures, it is obvious that they are not cleaned longer. The bathroom I would rather expect at the station, not in a 4 star hotel!
Unfortunately, Auxh was rude to the staff.
Restaurant was unfortunately like the rest. Cheap and too expensive food. Furthermore, all the chairs were dirty!
With a bed, the mattress was tied with a garbage bag so that it does not slip down.
In summary, the hotel is a disaster, except for the façade.

I was delivered to the hotel from the airport. I was greater with happy people at the desk. I got my room quickly. My room was a good size room but did not have a fridge. Called the desk and got in less than 5 minutes. The breakfast was fantastic. There was plenty of food. They made to order omlet. They had several cereals. Fresh fruit. And a few things that were definitely English. My stay was awesome.

Great room and excellent service, good breakfast choice with a chef station, only drawback was that I could hear the residents in the room nextdoor at night.

This hotel is about a 10 min walk from the tube station. Well appointed inside and nice, comfortable bar area. Rooms are large-ish for London.

We couldn't find the entrance initially because it wasn't very noticeable. Lucky I was on the 1st floor as the lifts are not working. Room service was meant to be available for 24hrs, no answer from room service at 5am. Played with temperature to cool down but it didn't work. No hairdryer in room. Staff were friendly shame about the rest.

I go to many hotels in one night and they don't let me in cose I was dirty from my job but this guy's let me in and very nice behaviour. Many thanks for themselves.

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding. It is very nice. Excellent service and reception cannot do enough for you. The rooms are adequate but not exceptional but the pricing is good so nothing to complain about there. Comfortable beds and a very good choice for breakfast. Happy to recommend it.

Nicest stay on our trip yet. Somethings need to be updated in the rooms but they are spacious and the bathroom is big. The lobby is beautiful but the halls seem dark and 1980s :)

Needs to work on housekeeping issues. Rooms need a good cleaning. The breakfast is great and the early morning team are too. The lack of cleaning made my stay a disappointment.

I came to attend a dinner/ball with my wife and we had a ball … There was sufficient parking and a pick-up/drop-off zone The reception was not too opulent that I was overwhelmed. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was not protracted. There were two luggage trolleys (I used one of them). The room was spacious with the option of having adjoining connecting rooms. There was ironing paraphernalia. The room was clean with complementary tea and coffee. Breakfast was spectacular with bespoke omelettes.

Been going to New Year Gala yearly and have to say it's been going down hill fast food wasn't great, they have cut back every year, no casino, entertainment really poor one man on lap top playing same tunes not much variety, 70's. But prices rising yearly! Couldn't order anything to eat only room service then charged on top for it. Staff worked hard from booking to serving and breakfast was fine, even that's gone down hill though we had salmon previous years,. Come on Hilton get the numbers back up and decent food! An music Next year.

Terrible service. On the first night of a prepaid stay, when we ordered room service, the manager on the phone said we could go down later to leave a credit card, but the desk clerk kept calling before and during the meal and saying he would have the manager throw us out of the hotel for not paying. The clerk then came up to the room and slammed the door after taking cash for the dinner. The manager said he could apologize, but didn't think they had done anything wrong.

This hotel was perfect for our one night stay for a nearby wedding. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent the following morning.

Rooms are tired and need refurb, bar and restaurant are ok.

Room was cold despite air con on max. Drilling and banging from 9am. Guy at breakfast asked our room number, when we told him he said no one was in that room. When we checked out we were told we were put down as a 'no show' despite having collected key cards at 3pm the previous day.

Nice hotel, bed felt like it had a few broken springs. Hotel staff were very polite.

Good service and good location. However, the rooms are crying for some TLC. I have stayed at various Hilton properties, but rooms here have do not give a feel of staying in a Hilton. They are crying for an upgrade. I stayed in a suite and could not help but note cracked tiles in the bath, old taps with missing hot mark, rusted lamp fittings, noisy mattress. Well let's just say it needs to be upgraded to be a Hilton.

Awful, 3 star at best. Staff are good. But its nowhere near croydon! It's on and industrial estate in the middle of nowhere. Overpriced, faded and dirty. I would advise staying at the Croydon Park Hotel, its right in the centre of croydon, similarly priced and really nice.

Hotel is situated in a nice remote location, with some eateries nearby. The lobby and bar area is pleasant with modern decor. The rooms were of a good size however, the beds were squeaky, the lcd TV sound was appalling and the toilet seat was a cheap plastic seat. Breakfast was good and tasty.

My best friend Ted and I wanted an accommodation which was at a convenient spot, not far away from London. This hotel was the best decision — the train was close and we had no trouble with directions. Ted was very happy because he took his dog Randy with us — the hotel allows pets which was a relief. Very friendly staff.

Spent one night and must say that the hotel was very comfortable. Checked in easy and the staff were friendly. The decor was a little bit dated but generally looking good. Had a king size bed in a spacious and clean room. The breakfast was good with a big selection of items. If I have a chance I would stay again.

The hotel was easy to find and near to the train station. Large and comfortable rooms. The bed was creaky. The staff were friendly and efficient in sorting a couple of issues for us. Excellent food in the restaurant. Wasn't even expensive.
