Quaint, very friendly owners and very helpful. Has a very homely feel, character of rooms for age of building. Still finding its feet. Food is exquisite with good advice from owners on what is good to eat.

Went for meal with some lovely friends meal was amazing and very tasty the hosts where very friendly and accommodating would highly recommend.

Was told that there is a place to keep luggage safely in locked room but when took it wasn’t locked. Marvellous breakfast!

Recently revamped to high standard, great hosts. Nepalese and English cuisine, which is exceptional. The whole place immaculately clean including hotel rooms.

Under-rated Nepali Gurkha restaurant. We've had a super meal for two, very reasonably priced, served with care and attention, with delicious food. Carefully judged spices, lovely flavours without being overwhelming. We'll go regularly and I hope the family are successful. Highly recommended.

Very friendly & helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. Bedrooms just need some minor upgrading, but on saying that the current owners have only had the hotel for a year. However very comfortable beds.

Quirky Hotel run by a Nepalese Gurkha family. Very friendly and good value for money. I chose to eat some of the traditional Nepalese food on offer which was absolutely first class. Also as an ex service man I'm more than happy to support such a venture.

This is the best meal I've had for long time. They were very accommodating and helpful especially as I was in electric wheelchair and it was so comfy and warm. Atmosphere and food amazing!

Good food and quality of service from the staff, as well as a good quality, huge bed in the room. However, the room and bathroom itself is in need of refurbishment and unfortunately suffers from traffic noise throughout the night.

Windows are single glazed so can hear traffic throughout the night, along with the shower being slow. Food is lovely with a comfortable bed and the staff in the hotel and restaurant very welcoming.

Food was lovely, as was the staff. Food can be made specially to accommodate needs or wants.

I went for a lunch at The Old Court for the first time since it was taken over. The food was so tasty, I had some momo (Nepalese dumplings) and a Nepal Lamb curry. It was heavenly, the lamb was so succulent and the curry beautifully spiced. I don't like mine too hot but this one curry could be done mild, medium or hot and it was perfect. The service is both attentive and discreet, how they manage the balance I don't know, there when you need them but not hovering at your elbow. I highly recommend having some food here, I'll definitely be going back.

Fab food. Good bar area. Rooms are small but the building is 300 years old. New owner working hard to get it right. Very warm welcome. Court yard available and still being improved. Limited car park spaces.

Spotless, food excellent, value for money, manager and all staff professional friendly very welcoming. A must to visit when in Oxfordshire.

Hotel cancelled our booking less than a week before our stay leaving us high and dry. Recommend you avoid this place and find somewhere else.

Filthy filthy service appalling food different from what was ordered landlord more interested in girl friend refused to cook our evening meal as he was going out let his 2 large dogs jump all over me when I was sitting on one of the 5 sofas that were pushed into one room awful awful.

Great place if a little noisy.

Someone hacked my emails. I would not stay in this place again! Its dirty and works like Fawlty Towers. No car park — only for the owners cars and dogs! The room smell of dogs and the accomodation is old and tired. Not worth the money! MP.

Small rooms, very poor breakfast, but nice venue.

Diabolical is one word. Poverty is another. Upon checking in all seemed well with a nice looking bar/ restaurant area, although the place was completely empty. We entered our room to discover the type of decor one would expect from a knock off German porn film. Electrical cables were all over the place, one in particular on the floor as you first walk in. The 'luxury' four poster bed had been shagged to bits and repaired time and time again with what looks like any old screw found on the floor. The walls were covered in mold and damp, the tiling in the bathroom was all over the place, and the carpet smelt like an old dogs blanket. We had traveled quite a way and decided the only way to deal with the situation was to have a stiff drink, we ordered at the bar and all the drinks were warm with dust on the bottles, it seemed as if the landlord had just turned on the fridge (we think he was actually surprised to have guests staying over). We sipped at our drinks and still zero other customers, which created an atmosphere as flat as a witches tit. So in the end we just left and ate out, got our heads down and just done the off with out the landlord noticing. My mrs was in tears from the experience, it was totally gutting and a let down. She had paid top dollar, and we would of been better off at a campsite.
