Lovely place to stay in with clean and decent sized rooms. Host was very helpful from helping us with our baggages to even cooking breakfast for guests in the morning.

A really nice place to stay right in the middle of Witney. Good breakfast and lovely host.

Just returned home from a night's stay at this unique homely guest house. I loved every minute I was there. Richard was so lovely and helpful. Louie was an added bonus such a beautifully behaved dog who obviously idolises his master. I was having some treatment at a place just over road from the guest house and the lady there said she would recommend future patients to stay there as she is often asked for recommendations. The owners of Corncroft obviously work very hard to achieve such high standards right down to cooking breakfasts to suit each individual! Phew! Hope to return one day.

We really enjoyed our stay here over New Years. Warmly welcomed and this set the tone for the rest of our time there. Location is excellent for walking to Witney or a short drive to Oxford. Our room was very nice and clean with a nice view. The breakfast was fantastic, all cooked to preference. We look forward to staying again!

Corncroft is excellent. 5th year of staying here for the Cheltenham races and have visited at other times too. Richard is the perfect host! Outstanding breakfasts, clean rooms with everything you need including fresh bottles of water and Celebrations each day! Breakfast is served after you choose fresh tea/coffee, white/brown toast and if and how you want your eggs. Lovely full English to accompany these choices and also a selection of cereal, fruit, yogurt and juices. The Horseshoes pub over the road is great for food and drink, along with most of the establishments in Witney that are a short walk away. Couldn't recommend this place higher!

Reviewing on behalf of my partner who stayed here — Enjoyed it a lot, very comfy bed (four poster), Richard very friendly, always helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Witney! Only downside was lack of vegetarian food for breakfast, but other than that, great place.

Lovely place to stay … but don't have a front bedroom in the summertime, the youth of Witney are out in force on Corn Street until the early hours!

Lovely guest house, staff are really friendly, nothing is to much trouble. The room 3 was very good and the four poster was super large, the room had iron and board, hair drier. Very good breakfast, sets you up for the day, with a smiley face. I will return again, thank you all for making me feel welcome Irene.

Spent a lovely weekend here in January. Breakfasts were very good. Host was very welcoming. Beds changed daily. Some decor is a bit tired. Overall for the price it is good value.

Great place to stay. Helpful owners, lovely room, good breakfasts. It's close enough to the middle of town (less than a 5 minute walk) without being right in the heart of the action. Overall a really good place.

Well presented room, clean with friendly staff. Very noisy location when you have to keep the window open. The hot water demand was too great in the morning which lead to a cool shower.

Absolutely fantastic and lovely time. The owners are very welcoming and for the price you pay, to end up in a four-poster room, which is clean, modern and yet vintage and huge at the same time is almost unheard of nowadays. And the fry-up included is a buffet! Great location, great place to stay. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Nice room, strong shower, pleasant host and great breakfast. The host even brought us a smiley potatoe face with the words "everybody needs a smily face on a Sunday! " lol.

Terrific location and personalized service from the owner! Very much enjoyed the breakfasts in the charming dining room. I look forward to staying here the next time I'm in Witney.
