Review of Steventon House Hotel 4*

Very bad service! First, I cannot understand how employees that work in this hotel in ENGLAND do not speak english!? Second, the breakfast! How can you say to the guests that are staying in this hotel that you ate all of the yoghurts? You only had 5 yoghurts for breakfast. Seriously?! Third, no music at the bar when we are actually the ones who are paying for the drinks!? Are you not interested in making business or what? Also, how about the table cloth that was not ironed for the matrimony?! The bride asked twice to do that! How about the white wine that was not put in the ice bucket? You just put the wine bottles on the table like in the lowest level restaurant. Have you ever heard about etiquette? Or how to serve in a restaurant? The owner of this place is the most unprofessional person ever! How can you talk to your client (the bride) as if she was a trash? They even couldnt find the bride’s son’s suit jacket which they personally signed for and DPD driver had to come back during the evening reception to prove that it was delivered. It was found in the morning… How is this possible? I could continue with many many other complaints like cleanliness and so on… But the main thing I want to say is that everyone that is considering to stay in this hotel or have a wedding should think twice! The only nice and polite person was the receptionist Suzie. The others do not seem to care about anything. Very upsetting and unprofessional team. Sorry to see that you are so far away from a high level service!
