Wow wow wow! The most magnificent location on the Overberg coastline! If you love the sound of waves lulling you to sleep, this is it! Idyllic… and have we mentioned magnificent? The hosts and staff are warm and attentive, with the perfect balance between friendly, interesting conversation and respect of privacy. And the breakfasts… undoubtedly up there with the best we've ever had! Would we recommend this perfect slice of heaven a million times? You decide! An absolute joy! Paul and Tracy Volker, Cape Town.

Such a beautiful spot with the most incredible view! Perfect for a coffee break by the ocean. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and helpful and going above and beyond. This will definitely be my new regular place to go to relax with a drink and a view. And the bran muffin was delicious! 10/10 would recommend ☺️

This is the most beautiful place with a stunning location and view. Just sitting on the deck and watch the beautiful nature, the whales and the special South Africa sunset give you peace in mind. The owners and staff are always smiling and give service beyond expectations. We just love this place and can give it our best recommendations.

Exceptional room with modern fittings including multi-national plugs. Great attention to detail with beach bags and cool bags available. Terrific balcony overlooking Walkers Bay and easy access to cliff walks. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Easy (safe) walk to pre-booked restaurant.

Super Vista and in the middle of the village there are super restaurants.

I have recently stayed at Clifflodge guest house with my girlfriend and it was an unexpected positive and romantic experience. Clifflodge is a luxurious guesthouse on the cliffs facing the ocean, the ideal place to relax and do whale watching. You can watch the whales from your sea-facing room or from the main balcony. The view is really stunning, especially during the sunset. You can have your breakfast or your aperitif watching the whales. We were a little bit disappointed with whale watching in Hermanus but Clifflodge and De Kelders cliffs in general offered us wonderful whale spotting. Everything in Clifflodge is taken care of down to the finest detail and the owners do their best to make your stay memorable. They were impressively gentle and generous with us. Just read the Clifflodge website and you will exactly find there what they promise you. Absolutely a place to go!
