Spent a week here. &chris and Jane are such amazing hosts. The cooked breakfast is so good. We will be returning here next year.

This is a beautiful calm and caring B&B. Run by a lovely family. Couldnt have ask for a nicer place to stay than here. Breakfast is great, feels you up for the day. The bed is comfy. A view of the sea from our room. Just amazing.

Stayed here as we had a wedding nearby. Fantastic value for money, really friendly service and a great nights sleep. Would highly recommend and we’d go back again to stay and spend more time in the local area.

This is a delightful Bed and Breakfast. The front rooms have amazing views over the beach and sea to the cliffs. The hosts were friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious and there was also a lounge and a guest library.

Awesome stay … just the place to be. Closer to nature helps you replenish.

Food was good. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, super room with lovely sea views. Usefully away from the busiest bits of the village. Super breakfast and catering for my gluten free other half was no problem. Recommended, will be back.

My wife and I would like to say a big thank you to Chris and Jane. We got married at another local venue and as we were not local ourselves, we did not want to drive home for obvious reasons. This is our second time staying here and my mother in law has stayed several times and every time they couldn’t have been more accommodating, however, this time they went over and beyond. It is fantastically quirky which only adds to its charm and appeal. It also gives you that homely …feel. This time we stayed on the top floor which has the lounge area and two bedrooms. It was great as our two boys (one is 5 years old and one is 8 months) has enough space to roam, play and explore. Wherever we go we always have a stash of toys but there is no need as Chris and Jane already had this in hand. The breakfast in the morning was superb with a cooked breakfast and a choice if cereal and juices. Nothing is ever too much trouble. There was even a couple of cars on the table waiting for my oldest boy. Moving to Chris and Jane themselves when you first arrive you are greeted in open arms and with big smiles all round. Like I said before nothing is ever too much trouble. They make you feel as though you are staying with longstanding friends. I would have no trouble in recommending Newberry Beach and Chris and Jane. In fact I already have.

Stopped at Newberry Lodge for the weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are great, very spacious and clean. There's plenty of parking available, and the general location is great for exploring Combe Martin. We will definitley be visiting again. See you soon.

What an amazing time we have had our room was exceptional and so clean and comfortable. Our hosts were just fantastic nothing was no bother made us feel so welcome and at home and made such an effort to make our 2 year old grandson comfortable. Breakfast was just the best and wow the view. Thankyou.

This place is fantastic. The hosts are fabulous, very attentive but laid back. The facilities are fab too. Free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee in the rooms, toiletries, freeview and en-suite rooms, all done to an eclectic but very high standard. Free parking too. The views are gorgeous and location great for exploring north Devon. We would come back here again.

We spent the August Bank Holiday weekend in this gem of a place. Treated ourselves to the King room with roll top bath, fab view of the bay. Hosts Chris & Jane gave us a very warm welcome into their lovely home. Felt very relaxed, breakfast was superb. Can't fault the place.

We had a great break. Owners are so friendly and really want to make sure you have the best stay, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and really stylish with roll top baths and beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast is lovely with lots of choice and they even said they could do breakfast in bed! My son has a severe allergy to dairy and egg and they took great care in cooking his food. We will definately be returning.

We stayed at the Newberry Beach Lodge at the beginning of the week and the owners Chris and Jane could not of been more friendly and helpful. The Lodge itself is in a stunning location with great views of the sea, perfect for walking into Combe Martin (which is just a minute away), and walking on the Coastal Path around North Devon and up into Exmoor — stunning! Chris and Jane went out of their way to make us feel extremely welcome and it was genuinely like home from home. We 100% recommend the Newberry Beach Lodge to anyone looking for a more personal stay in North Devon with Wollacombe just a 15 minute drive down the road through Ilfachrome. We would like to say a massive thank you for making it a great birthday break. It was perfect. All the very best. Richard & Bryony.
