Burnside is a great b&b to stay the host Sharon is friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cosy with everything you need, the breakfasts are great especially the homemade toffee sauce and waffles. It is situated close to the town centre which is ideal. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the lakes.

Just returned from a weekend stay at Burnside B & B, what an excellent place. Welcoming, lovely rooms, excellent selection and quality of food at breakfast. Friendly helpful hosts. Our second stay here and was fabulous. If you are planning a trip to Keswick area, stay here, you won t be disappointed.

The location is in a quiet area. Sharon is a great hostess and provided us with a nice cooked breakfast each morning. There also are cereals, yogurt, and a fruit salad and beverages included. Bed is comfortable with a top sheet and comforter bathroom has added amenities of cotton rounds, makeup remover clothes, and wash clothes. Parking was free on the street. Nice space under the bed for suitcases. Castlerigg Stone Circle was a 15 walk.

Simon and his wife were perfect host's. Breakfasts were large and the room very comfortable. It is a perfect base for exploring the lakes.

This B&B is well appointed and decorated to such a high standard. Sharon has clearly put a great deal of thought into every room and no detail has been neglected. It was a wonderful stay, made that much better by the delicious breakfast we were served to start our days. She was happy to accommodate my gluten intolerance. She also has a lot of knowledge of the area and helped us plan our days out as well as our dinners in town which were fantastic recommendations.

Just got home from a very lovely 3 night stay at the Burnside B&B. We were pleasantly greeted and were given fantastic recommendations for places to eat and picturesque walks. Our bedroom was very clean, cosy and comfortable with amazing mountain views. The best part of our stay was certainly the cooked breakfast where we very much enjoyed the works and more! The host was very welcoming, friendly and most of all very attentative. Felt like a home away from home. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone. My partner and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay here, wish it could have been for a little longer. The rooms were spotless and Sharon was a lovely host ensuring everything was just right for us, the breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day. She also recommend places to eat in Keswick on an evening. And we certainly were not disappointed.

We spent a week here on a walking holiday and had a fantastic time. Sharon is incredibly helpful and serves an incredible breakfast (waffles are highly recommended). The location is only a short 10 minute walk into the town centre and ample parking is available over the road. Couldn't hope for a better place to stay in the lakes!

Best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in ever! From entering the accommodation to leaving 2 days later, every detail was perfect. The hosts were available for any questions, advice needed. The rooms are fabulous and spotless, great powerful showers. Décor lovely. We enjoyed our breakfasts both mornings, there was fruit, yogurts, cereal, juice, tea and coffee in plentiful supply. Day one I enjoyed full English breakfast which was delicious but my favourite on morning 2 was Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and lovely seeded toast, brilliant breakfasts. Would thoroughly recommend this B and B if you are anywhere near the Keswick area, we will definitely stay again. Parking is really close and plentiful. The hosts have it perfect, thank you for a much needed break.

Just had a fantasic 4 nights here and didn't want to leave.   It's a really relaxing environment, immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated.   Sharon,  the landlady, is an amazing cook and great host… nothing is too much trouble. The food was as good as it gets and the best waffle ever! Have to mention the coffee… excellent.   I was even able to store my bike with the good intention of having a ride which I actually didn't get time to do… next time… we will be back and highly recommend to others.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Burnside B&B and wasn’t disappointed. The host Sharon was very welcoming and very pleasant from arrival to departure and the room was great with excellent views and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent and a great choice, cooked fresh to your chosen time every morning. They even do gluten free if you require. The B&B is about a 15 min walk from town or if you don’t fancy it after a night out about £2.50 in a taxi, but that is totally negated by the warm and welcoming place you are getting back to and the great nights sleep you are about to have. If you are planning a trip to Keswick, then you won’t go wrong staying at the Burniside. (We’ve just booked to visit again later in the year).

What a great find. About a 15 min walk into town which is nothing to sample the delights of the Burnside. A friendly welcome on arrival and throughout the stay. The room was great, well maintained and the bed was really comfy. Great nights sleep. The breakfast was remarkable along with the choice (even had gluten free). I can’t find a bad thing to say about it, so without a doubt I would seriously recommend this place for anyone wishing to visit Keswick.

What a lovely spot! Cozy little room, great views, and delicious breakfast (gluten free option was much appreciated) ; short walk into the centre of town; useful recommendations of local pubs, restaurants, and walks from our gracious host. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have visited Burnside many times and we always have a fantastic stay. The rooms are spotless, Sharon and Pete are friendly and helpful hosts, and the breakfasts are delicious with plenty of choice. This B&B is a real 'home away from home' for us and we have been so well looked after every time we've been to stay. Just wish we could visit more often!

This is one of the best b&B's ever! The facility is clean, comfortable and charming, with a good location. Our hostess, Sharon, was welcoming and helpful. We stayed there for a week and would gladly return. Most highly recommended.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at this B&B. Sharon was really welcoming and cooks some very tasty breakfasts! The B&B is tastefully decorated and makes for a very comfortable stay. The walk into Keswick is only 15mins so the location is great. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Keswick!

We stayed at Burnside for four nights. The room was spacious and really well thought out with space for everything. It was also scrupulously clean, a pleasure to return to each evening. Sharon is a superb hostess making sure we knew good places to eat at night and were happy with what we had chosen to do each day. Breakfast was wonderful, many different choices of cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruits, toast and cooked elements. Again Sharon was keen to make sure all guests were happy with what she offered. Would heartily recommend Burnside b&b and hope to return next time we are in the Lakes.

Burnside is a superb b&b. Stayed in room 2 for a few nights. It is well appointed and spacious. Everything is spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are great and Sharon is a truly friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Having not been to Keswick or the Lake District before, we searched online for a quality bed and breakfast, relying heavily on customer feedback. Burnside B&B certainly lived up to expectations. We were well looked after by Sharon who runs the B&B. She was very helpful and friendly in recommending sights to see and places to eat, as well as providing the perfect breakfast. Decaffeinated beverages were no problem. The room was spacious and well maintained; (I think the teddy ensured that nothing was missed). If we visit the Lake District again, we’d definitely stay at Burnside.

Stayed in many excellent Guesthouses in the UK over the past few years and this was one of the very best, the owner Sharon is a credit to Her profession, Her home is spotlessly clean from top to bottom. She's very kind, helpful and She makes the best full English you'll ever have, everything is cooked to perfection… the mushrooms and bacon are to die for! We stayed in room 4 which was very spacious with a lovely little sofa and a very comfortable bed. 10/10 An excellent place to stay for anyone visiting Keswick and the surrounding area. Plus you couldn't wish to meet a nicer friendlier or more genuine person than the owner Sharon, She's a real Gem!

A sad visit to Keswick for us, however made very comfortable by our stay at Burnside. Lovely thoughtfully designed rooms, our hosts so very kind and accommodating. Excellent breakfasts each day. Lovely walk into the city centre, would highly recommend a stay here.

Burnside b&b is by far the best place to stay in the lakes! It is 5 star accommodation and sharon makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and the homemade breakfast is delicious! We are already planning our next trip to burnside (it will be our 5th)!

We stayed in Burnside BnB for five very comfortable nights. The room we stayed in was spacious and spotless. Sharon is very welcoming and her breakfasts delicious. To cater for my dietary requirements Sharon even made gluten free waffles for us for breakfast on a couple of mornings and they were an unexpected pleasure with her homemade toffee sauce. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Lakes District.

This was the perfect cozy bed and breakfast for our stay in the Lake District! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time at Burnside and we will definitely be coming back here on any return visits. Sharon was a very warm, inviting and helpful host. She gave us suggestions for things to do and was very friendly all around. Every morning she made us a delicious full English breakfast with tea, orange juice, cereal and toast on the side. The room was spacious, very clean, warm, cozy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and there was TV and Wi-Fi. I have to say we got a better night's sleep here than any other place we visited in the UK over our two week trip. Sharon does a great job of making your stay feel like a home away from home. The B&B is located just outside the Keswick town center. You can walk to everything in town within 15 minutes. Not to mention easy access to tons of hikes. And it's just down the street for an ancient stone circle! I highly recommend Burnside B&B.

This is a first class Bed and Breakfast, everything you could wish for, beautiful room, fantastic breakfast, Sharon is very helpful with information of the area will definitely be staying here again, such a welcoming host x.
