A lovely, relaxed stay. Very welcoming hosts. Great breakfast.

This is the most English place ever. It's charming. Every single detail is curated. The rooms are large and comfortable. The view from the windows is beautiful. You will get quite a nice welcome table, filled with goodies for tea and cookies. There is a TV in each room. The breakfast room is cozy and the breakfast itself is exactly what you would expect from a real English kitchen. The landlord is a caring, lovely Englishman from whom you can get the most out of the local place. If you get in the area, just stop here!

Absolutely loved this place. Really hope we can find a reason to visit again. Great room, gracious hosts, delicious and varied breakfast choice all set in a picturesque area.

In a very quiet location and yet handy to M1/A5 near Milton Keynes. Lots of thoughtful attention to detail and extra touches make this a lovely place to stay.

I stayed at the white house b&b, in Oct 2013. I was welcomed with homemade cake when I arrived and the breakfast was super. Very very good b&b.

I stayed at The White House b and b for two nights in April 2013. I was very impressed and pleased by the genuine warm welcome by the new owners. It has a relaxed atmosphere with very pleasant surroundings. The food, dining area and room were all excellent, with fresh ground coffee and home made cake available in the dining area. Breakfast menu is comprehensive and very well prepared. If you are looking for a b and b with excellent food, facilities, a relaxing atmosphere with friendly owners, I would very highly recommend this. Will definitely stay again. Jim.

Last weekend we stayed for Friday and Saturday night. We had to work all Saturday and had to get out by 06:45. Nevertheless, warm croissants and fresh coffee were waiting for us. We came back back at 11:30pm and yet again there was freshly made coffee and home-made cake waiting fur us! This sort of service makes Erica and Steve really stand out from the crowd. Sunday morning we were late for breakfast (as we had worked for 15h the previous day) but that was not a problem for them at all. Nice to have been able to choose pancakes for breakfast; I hadn't had that for years.
