We had a clean good sized room with a balcony and view of the lake. It was beautiful and a bargain too. We also enjoyed a few drinks and live music at the pub next door.

Superb surroundings. Very well maintained, staff very helpfull.

Went on Sat 11th Jan for my birthday night out with friends and was welcomed with a birthday card, birthday banner and a bottle of wine in my room, what a lovely touch Also had a lovely birthday lunch for 14 in the Caldecote and was great. Thank you Premier Inn staff.

Stayed here last night after attending a Xmas party close by. What a fantastic place, in a good location, set in a windmill! Our room was overlooking the beautiful lake, it was a nice large clean room. Fresh towels and tea/coffee facilities in there as well. I liked the mirror that lit up on the wall so you can do makeup etc and a hairdryer next to it. We borrowed an iron and ironing board, nothing was too much trouble.
Great checkin, friendly staff, and in the morning as well, chatting and helpful.
In the morning we had the breakfast was amazing! Set out very well, good quality of choice, juices tea/coffees and you can have pastries, cereal fruit etc, then a good choice of cooked breakfast, we had vegetarian sausages didn’t wait long and came pipping hot. Only thing to improve is a bit cold in corridors on the way up to our rooms but we had the heating on in the room, so it warmed up very quickly in there. Look forward to staying again.

We stayed for weekend whilst visiting family. Lovely place, gorgeous food, great room, very clean, lovely setting can’t think of anything bad about this place.

All was very good. Apart from tired room. First night was great second night was so noisy. Half past two when a large group came back so noisy yet the staff didn’t seem bothered.

Lovely hotel pleasant staff and great location.

Your standard premier Inn. Nicely located integrated restaurant, with lovely views of a big lake with a terrace. Free parking. Free basic Wi-Fi. No airco in the rooms. A major road at about 200m and plenty of geese on the lawn in front of the lake, so not for very light sleepers on hot summer days, otherwise no problem.

Realy comfortable room. Great view over the lake from the room. Good food at the inn.

Lovely setting and Premier Inn does what it does well. A pity about the adjoining pub The Coldecote, its a beautiful building but badly let down by the staff who are mostly young and uninterested eager to shut not so eager to serve and clean. Tables are wiped but unfortunately the cloth they use is still the same one from opening day. Everything is sticky and smells of food, sauce or beer. Great if like the feeling of your forearms sticking to the table (any table, take your pick! ). It's a shame because it could be great. God only knows what the foreign visitors think! Food again could be good, interesting enough menu but Russian roulette on what's hot, warm or cold on your plate. Come on guys get the place to where it deserves to be, just needs good management.

Usual Premier Inn standard but in an interesting location. Plenty of walking or cycling straight out the door. Food in linked pub very bland but other restaurants a walk or short drive away. No shops nearby.

Great location on Lake, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, nice staff.

A magnet for families, avoid if you dont like noise! Room ok, but limited opening of window, not good when its hot. Breakfast is dire, too many noisy kids, food is rubbish, save your money and go to a local cafe/eatery.

Well priced, good night stay but poor service in restaurant.

Great location. Difficult with parking if it is a great summer day, but that is simply because of the great location. River side, running space and water sport location.

Good Premier Inn, although I never managed to change the room temperature settings … the room controller insisted on constantly returning to the pre-set values. Very helpful staff although the restaurant booking we made at Reception never got passed through to the restaurant. There was no problem getting a table though.

Great location and was very quiet, but this wasn't up to standard for Premier Inn. The room wasn't as clean as I come to expect from this brand, there were crumbs on the floor and hairs in the shower. Also the breakfast was terrible. People were waiting 30+ minutes for a cooked breakfast which you have to order, so you would expect it to be fresh. However what arrived was frozen vegetarian sausages and greasy mushrooms. I complained about the sausage and my plate was taken away, only to come out with the same food on it just with a steaming veggie sausage this time. But this meant my lovely poached eggs were now solid and rubbery. Very disappointing.

It's a Premier Inn with the recipe you know and love for a good night's sleep. Breakfast a little disappointing as things had obviously been waiting around for someone to order them…

The nicest premier Inn I've stayed in, 40 inch telly, lake view, big room, walk in shower, comfortable double bed, 5 star accommodation! The pub next door is simply mint!

My dad got me a room for a explore I was doing in the mk area. Never used a premier in before but it wasn't a bad place to stay, Pub was ok, food was edible, view was amazing enjoyed very much will return! Only 3 stars as I couldn't turn off the heater. When I asked reception all I got was ok.

I stayed here a few weeks back and wasn't going to post a review until I heard back from the hotel. 2 weeks have past and still no email back. my room had dust in it mainly around the light fittings I know not a biggie, the duvet had stains on it. The staff where just plain rude. I would have had a better experience sleeping on the streets with a homeless man! STAY CLEAR.

Comfortable, quiet, newly decent food in the attached pub. Pleasant views over the lake. Excellent value, too. £70 a night at very short notice.

Heating didn't work in my room! (January so temps not much above freezing! ) Slept in my work fleece for 2 nights. Complained just to get the response of… oh okay! Really poor customer service will never stop here again! Very poor seeing as we pay £30, 000+ a year to premier inn's all over the country putting our workers in them for the duration of our jobs. Looking elsewhere for hotels indefinitely from now on! We have had too much trouble from premier inn! Any crime happens they're not interested! Definitely look elsewhere for accommodation!

Clean room, lovely bed. Wish there were more towels in the rooms and the heat was a bit better.

The hotel was very nice, clean and modern. However, there was a refurb going on in the restaurant so was unable to get dinner or breakfast from the venue.

Stayed here as a base to go to Bletchley Park which is only a few minutes away. The hotel is basic and could do with a bit of work, the toilet seat was loose in our room. The staff were friendly and the food next door was decent and well priced for dinner. There is a big park and boating lake right outside which is nice.

Newish Premier Inn so Hotel in good condition. Surrounding are lovely with plenty of walks etc. Only downside for me as I was staying whilst working locally is that Breakfast on a week day does not start until 7.00am.

Standard Premier Inn room, not as clean as others and looking slightly rough around the edges. Reception staff a little to laid back. Night Porter extremely helpful when my key card wouldn't work. Attached pub again a bit tired looking but lovely friendly staff. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have any. Lovely view over the lake. Just wish Premier Inn didn't lock all their windows now because there was no air con and I was very hot. All round though not bad at all.

This is a very nice place to take a walk. Great area's around the lake for taking the family for a nice picnic etc. There is a nice children's playground and it also has a miniature railway that the children will love. The lake has an area for watersports and whilst we were there some children were just finishing what Iooked like some nice trips around the lake on speedboat. There is a nice public house that sells various beers, wine's and spirit's they also sell food of which I've been told is of very good quality. I have not had the pleasure of using the public house myself so am a little hesitant as to providing a review although from the exterior it seemed to be very pleasant and if footfall is anything to go on then you won't be disappointed as it was very busy and this was about 3.30pm until 6.45pm.

As with all Premier Inns a comfortable bed and well equipped room. This location is by a lake so has lovely views from the beer garden. A large free car park and the Caldecott pub and restaurant providing good deals on food.

Plenty of parking, nice modern rooms. Nice views of the lake. Good breakfast and evening meal options. Affordable prices for every budget.

Lovely site. Beautiful windmill and lake. Good restaurant. No air conditioning so very warm room only downside.

Stayed in room 2 a disabled room next to reception. Very noisy with people booking in, coming out of the pub and inconsiderate noisy guests returning to there rooms shouting when people are in bed. Think I had a baby elephant stopping in the room above. Pub food just ok but sticky dirty tables.
Great location though overlooking the lake.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We had a lake view room which was beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful. Food was really lovely. Will definitely return if we were back in Milton Keynes.

Always a lovely welcome from the helpful staff. Lovely views of the lakes with lots of waterfowl. Some rooms the TV volume is set too low and no-one knows how to adjust it and the media centres are hit and miss if they work. Sometimes it can have noisy groups of guests which are disruptive.

Room was spacious and had a great view over the lake. Staff were very helpful and friendly whenever I required their assistance. Cooked breakfast was gorgeous, some of the nicest sausages I have had in a long time. Lovely views in the restaurant and the Steak was delightful. Can jump onto the walks around the lake with a path from the hotel. There are also multiple pokestops which can be accessed while sat in the restaurant.

Stayed here just the 1 night. Not happy with the arrival check in. Went to pay with my cash only to be told er any photo ID?. Why Anyone paying by cash needs photo ID. Well why wasn't I told this at time of booking I'd even rang the Premier Inn to book it… So they had my car registration, my bank card details. Eventually the woman said pay £3 on my bank card and then the rest in cash. Wtf. So not impressed. Did I have my passport, er no we are still in the UK!. So not happy again should have been told when I booked it originally. So was given a bottle of wine, that was yuk! … So on a positive note the room was amazing. Right opp the lake. Room 126. Definitely a wow factor. And for that I still give it 4*. Can't fault the room spotless … Food in restaurant good value. Breakfast however very poor. We got there for 9 breakfast and there was nothing. No drinks fruit juices jugs empty. No yoghurt s. Just bowls of water that orig had ice. They need to be more on the ball with replenishing things. Shame it let the place down. Worst breakfast we've had at a Premier inn. Location out of this world.

Olivia & Grace on reception — The A Team! Lovely, helpful, caring … I could go on and on.
Lovely stay last weekend only spoiled by other guests in the room directly above — kids using the room as an assault course but Olivia moved us to another room away form them without any fuss or bother.
Really nice location with a super lake for a nice walk.
The Fayre & Square next door is a bit of a let down but it's a "family pub" so you will find the odd chips on the floor and a sticky seat or two but you just have to look where you are going. The food is great value and decent enough for the type of place it is. Waiting staff lovely.

Breakfast chef didn't come into work on Saturday. We had to settle for the continental breakfast. Room was comfy though and we were reasonably happy overall.

As always a cozy comfortable nights sleep one had come to expect from premier inn. Nice location by the lake. However getting served in the bar was way to slow with long waits and a tenner for breakfast per person is to much. Especially when there are other local choices to eat for half that.

Comfy bed, good for short stays, Wi-Fis useless unless you upgrade, could barely load a page on free, quick and efficient service.

It's a Premier Inn. We found the rooms clean, the hotel quiet and the staff helpful. On the edge of some beautiful lakes and built to look like a windmill.

Good place to stay. Good breakfast. Very quiet. As a Dutchman I like to advise this place.

The Hotel is Clean Tidy and Well Maintained. The facilities are modern and fresh with a smart TV giving access to your mobile devices to stream your own content to them. The downside to our stay was the eviction from the Caldecotte Arms — Fayre and Square due to be being fully booked so we had to sit in our room and wait for three hours for a table to become available. This is not the hotels fault of course as they belong to different companies, but was a shame.

Freezing cold rooms and terrible food, one to avoid.

Rooms are great, lovely views across the lake and the staff are very helpful. The attached restaurant is ok, nothing special, some staff are great others not so good. Food is reasonable.
