Only here for 1 night… all the staff are pleasant and helpful… breakfast was excellent wide choice. Would definitely stay again… had a really good night's sleep.

Happily took my booking but then a few weeks later Mecure MK discovered the date was the same day as the 2022 British Grand Prix, and they could have sold my room to someone else for at least 5 times the price. At this point there was a mysterious and ever so predictable “technical fault” which meant they “regrettably” had to cancel my room, meaning my son and I are now without accommodation as all other hotels in the area are fully booked. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Will never stay at a Mecure Hotel again or consider them when booking future sales conferences for my business.

My booking was cancelled due to covid and lockdown, spoke to the hotel beginning of lock down and was promised once the staff was back they would refund my payment, after many failed attempts to contact a manager and being ignored via dm I've opened a dispute via booking. Com and head office said they will process the refund within a month, 1.5 months later still no refund.
Nothing but theifs.

Very clean hotel, lovely staff, so helpful! During Covid19 I was assured extra care was taken with deep cleaning, which was fantastic. Even though I had a joke on my FB about the “Covid disinfect everything panic”, it was only tongue in cheek humour for my friends! … definitely not due to worries at the hotel! … it’s spotless! Thanks for my welcoming stay I’ve untagged the hotel on my FB post just so it’s fair in case it’s taken otherwise!

We recently got married here on the 21st of December 2019 and our whole day was just amazing. This hotel is a hidden gem and is a high quality, chic, up to date hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly but very professional and nothing was too much trouble. The wedding co-ordinator Kate is very easy to talk to and open to suggestions/ideas and any questions / enquiries we did have were answered promptly.
We had booked the venue in January and throughout the months beforehand, regular contact was made, meetings held and food tasting arranged for us with our last meeting taking place just a few days before with Events Coordinator Katie and Operational Manager Nick. We had dinner on the Friday night and the service and food was excellent and then joined our guests that were staying at the hotel in the bar area which was very relaxing. On the day Nick & Kate and all the team who were on duty made our day just perfect. Even the rain didn’t effect us as we had arranged with the photographer and the hotel to use the ceremony room for group shots in case of bad weather, after all it was December lol.
All our guests were impressed with the venue. We had the ceremony in the Crownhill Suite and the Wedding Breakfast in the Watling Suite which was stunning. The room was set up exactly how we had envisaged it, the food was excellent quality, plentiful and beautifully plated. The Evening buffet was lovely as well.

Only used the bar and restaurant but very nice, food was lovely and staff friendly and polite.

Went for an afternoon tea. The tea was okay and the staff were very friendly, but we had to ask for water 3 times, and it still didn't come. It was a hot day so wasn't great! We left just so we could go home and get a drink haha.

Great stay, Just what me and the Mrs needed for a day and night of non disturbed pure filthy sex and non stop finger blasting… Down side No Icepacks for the Mrs now she is walking around MK like she has a log between her legs!

Wow that's what I call a treat! Afternoon tea was lush. And Kayleigh Reeves is awesome (No relation). Beautiful place. Staff brilliant and sunshine to top it all off xx.

Great helpful staff very cheerful. Nice hotel situated in a very handy place. The food is fantastic both breakfast wise and evening wise. The waitresses were brilliant. A special mention must be made for reception. The lady that dealt with us was exceptional went right out of her way to help.

Hotel looked nice and staff were friendly but the food was sadly disappointing! The starter was a coleslaw salad and was literally just a bowl of coleslaw and a few lettuce leaves and peppers chopped up? Then the main well undercooked vegetables the potatoes were pretty much raw as were the carrots, the Yorkshire was dry and tasteless and the gravy was like sickly sticky treacle. Then for dessert was supposed to be strawberry cheesecake but ended up being raspberry mousse on a biscuit with a blackberry couli, not a strawberry in sight. Then to cap it off had a nasty hair in mine! Was shocked that they then charged me £2.50 for a coke, even though I had complained about the hair. Clearly not interested in return custom, because we certainly won't be going back. Perhaps a few cooking lessons for the chef?

Had an amazing time here for my Hen Do was treated to Afternoon Tea, the food here is absolutely amazing and the tea was on point. The staff were really friend here and were good at helping us to our every needs. Would definitely come back here again for afternoon tea as had an amazing experience.

We had a lovely stay here. The breakfast kept us going all day and there were plenty of options. We paid for an upgraded room and it was worth the extra money, with a coffee machine, jets in the bath and lots of extra toiletries to entertain the children. There was lots of space in the room for relaxing. Helpful staff on the reception desk on arrival.

Stayed here for the MK marathon. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Had a fantastic evening meal and the breakfast was really good. Very happy with my stay.

We had a wonderful meal. Have only 1 issue. They started to clear our plates while we were still eating. Besides that would go back again.

Nice hotel, was there for a business meeting, couldn't find someone so we could order a drink asked one lady who said she'd get someone didn't materialise. It was quite quiet in there only a couple of other people, perhaps they were between shifts.

Dinner was good and matched by good service. Definitely a recommend if you're looking to try something out of cmk.

Venue itself is close to A5, very convenient. Bar and restaurant has a welcoming vibe. Modern decor, bright and comfortable. Staff are helpful. Generous portion of food. Prices are good. Ample free parking. Registration of car is o touch screen device at reception which means there is no waiting time.

Lovely hotel, quiet location, very clean modern rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast menu is extensive and the evening meal choices are lovely and freshly cooked and not expensive. I would definitely stay here again.

Been here a few times for seminars, the lunch they serve is nothing to get excited about. I've stayed overnight here once and although my room was ok my friends room had sick in it and this was supposed to be an upgraded room! Breakfast was mediocre but then again I wasn't expecting much. There was also work being done in the reception area it was so loud we could hear it from the bar so it felt like we was shouting at each other.

Have been back several times now, my only advice would be to ask for more coffee pods for the nespresso machine in the privilege room if you are a coffee drinker that's all, other than that staff are friendly hotel clean and excellent parking.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here at the weekend and had a fantastic time. At check-in we decided it would be worthwhile paying the extra for a privilege room and it was no trouble at all for Tracey on reception to change the reservation accordingly even though the keys and paperwork had already been prepared for the original booking. She was very polite and courteous. The room itself was spacious, clean and more than adequate. A nice touch was the fridge containing drinks and… a snack that were included at no extra cost. Checking out was also efficient and we were worried about the conditions of the road due to the weekend snowfall but Tracey advised that they were clear when she came into work that morning and wished us a safe onward journey home. It makes a refreshing change to be able to give a positive review as I have had a lot of cause to complain about a few companies and services recently. We will definitely return in future, good service, value, feeling your custom is appreciated and politeness and courteousness really do matter!.

Loved the hotel and the staff were really friendly, I'd definitely stay here again. If I had to point out a bad bit, it would be the buffet breakfast wasn't great but done the job! It wouldn't stop me staying here.

Much nicer on the inside than out nice kept grounds but hotel doesn't look overly appealing as a building from the out side but inside is lovley.

Beautiful Hotel, I cannot fault it. Staff are all extremely polite, friendly & welcoming. They really cannot do enough for you! (I stayed for a week! ) The rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable & has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. One thing I would of liked is a small fridge in all of the rooms. I did love the tea / coffee and hot chocolate making facilties too! The food was lovely, room service is very quick & always piping hot. The breakfast in a morning is amazing, has something for everyone even vegetarians! :D (One thing I did notice is breakfast is all take into the kitchen at 10 am instead of 10:30 am which is understandable to clean up for dinner time. But bare that in mind if you do intend to stay here — that happened every morning for me but maybe other times… I am not too sure) I used the gym in the hotel each morning and night & it was lovely — all of the equipment was working, easy to use and they also have a TV so you can put something on to watch or some music to listen to! There is also ice Lemon & Lime water with little cups to help yourself too which I haven't seen in hotel gyms before I loved it! The gym is very private and situated quite out of the way so passers by cannot just peer in. Also the cleaning ladies are spectacular, they are super fast cleaning your room and respect all of your things — they never move anything and always leave the room looking like it is when you checked in.

Nice staff, gym area is small but have what you need while away from home. Breakfast and room service was a bit pricy, but if that's you're choice they prioritise room service over people at the bar so you get it straight away.

Is just renovated, quietly located at the golf course. Good breakfast, rooms could be a bit cleaner.

I arrived and found out I booked for the wrong day. The staff were superb, they sorted us out and were very accommodating. Dinner in the bar/restaurant was excellent and hassle free. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. A very peaceful sleep. Breakfest was buffet style, very hot filling good quality. Would definetly stay again :)!

The outside doesn't look much. Inside is really nice and the service is good. Little bit pricey for coffees and sandwiches though.

Food cold undercooked 44 pound per head we paid for our Christmas party very dissapointed.

The hotel has modern look and feel which was nice. The afternoon tea was average I have had better.

Went there last night for a steak meal with wine (groupon voucher). Ordered our meal and asked for a wine menu as we wanted to purchase a bottle as the offer only included a glass. Waiter said that he would see if he could get us a discount on the bottle as we were entitled to a glass each anyway. He bought the menu over and that is the last we saw of him. Our meals were served and my husband refused to start his meal without the wine. I had to beckon the waiter over twice before he took the order for the wine. All this time our meals were getting cold. The wine was eventually brought to the table with no apology for the delay by the waitress/supervisor. My husband complained to her that the meals are now cold and that he did not want them. We wanted the wine with our meal not after. He offered to pay for anything that we owed for which was nothing as it was a groupon voucher and we had not ordered any starters. She walked off and we walked out. This is the first and last time that we will be visiting this restaurant. Very disappointed with the level of service offered.

Fantastic wedding hosted at Mercure Abbey Hill. They really made the day perfect for the bride. Food was really good and the bar service was quick despite there being two weddings and the normal guests to deal with.

Nearly gave this place a 3star but! … The beds in this hotel are ridiculously uncomfortable! If I only I could get an hours sleep then I would've not been complaining! But I was twisting and turning trying to get comfortable, the pillows were way to high, had 4 pillows and kept changing them but no hope also the blanket cover was not on properly which makes it more annoying in the middle of the night when trying to fix that also! I am properly frustrated and tired with aches and pains on my body! Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had a steak meal served on a volcanic rock and you basically cook the steak yourselves to your liking. The meal was very nice and the staff were very friendly, even though the restaurant was very busy.

First impressions. Nice modern rooms. I found housekeeping ok. Slow check in. Cold plates for breakfast. Orange cordial instead of orange juice. Tasteless breakfast. But I'm veggie so choice was limited. Bacon maybe fine. Liked fresh fruit salad. Im there for 3 nights, will advise further.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding that was hosted at the venue. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was of good quality and the portions were of a decent size. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was cleaned to a high standard. The only thing I can complain about was that neither of the bedside readings lamps worked. All in all an enjoyable experience.

The place has had a lot of work done to it. Rooms are modern and bright. The food was amazing, Kudos to chef Bedford!

Fantastic venue with very professional staff. Very clean with fully equiped rooms. Bar and restaurant are both first class.

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. The hotel looks smart and modern and is a very popular wedding venue. Our room was a good size with a lovely comfortable king sized bed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though they were busy with wedding guests. Even the price of drinks in the hotel bar was a nice surprise — a lot cheaper than we expected! The hotel is very well located for easy reach of all that Milton Keynes has to offer.

1st wedding anniversary meal and glad we went. Our first visit and already booked to go back tomorrow. Husband had pate to start and I had a Greek salad and they were both delicious. I went for tuna steak and husband had seafood platter again excellent. Topped off the meal with a bottle of wine which was very nice. Lovely decor and very pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel. Nice, modern rooms with air con. Good restaurant. Some parts are awaiting updates I think. Next door to a golf course with driving range and mini golf. Very convenient for the A5, although the roundabout can be busy in the mornings and evenings.

Although there is absolutely nothing around the hotel what's inside is very contemporary and professional. The restaurant is quite good and the beds are extremely cosy.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Space is more than enough for one and also ok for two.

Room was fine, considering how much it cost for the night it didn't even include breakfast. Bed comfortable, excellent shower, decent hotel bar, all in all a reasonable place top stay but quite expensive for what you get.

First time I've used a Mercure Hotel and I've been very impressed with the friendliness of the welcome I received. The room I had was comfortable and well appointed. The quality of the restaurant for both Dinner and Breakfast was very good. I will use Accor Hotels again.

Convenient location. Went to new years eve event. Food was good although service wasn't well organised. Entertainment was average. Why is the music always so loud that you have to shout to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you? Didn't stay over but it was a good evening overall.

A great friendly service, a nice hotel overall however the rooms are a little dated. Also found it difficult to keep the ruin cool despite adjustments to the air conditioning.

Nice to have Freeview HD in the room. Bathroom facilities are superb and the bedding was very comfortable. The letdown was that some of the breakfast offerings were unavailable.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 months and loved every minute of it. All the staff are amazing and go out of their way to accommodate guests.

Very good modern hotel, not too far from the city centre or from Silverstone, which was my destination. The room and hotel were both modern, clean and attractive. Only let down by dodgy Wi-Fi, which would let me download pretty quickly but wouldn't let me stream anything, so not sure what was going on there. Also worth mentioning the excellent breakfasts.

Had a special weekend away with my wife and 7yr old daughter at Mercure Milton Keynes Abbey Hill Hotel. It is one of the best hotels in Milton Keynes. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the breakfast just right for our needs.

Stayed in an executive room, big clean room, huge bed, even bigger TV! very quiet, thick curtains. Excellent room service. Polite helpful staff at breakfast…All in all a lovely few days,. This hotel is close to milton Keynes. Great Location.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel and thought it was a great place. It is close to the Milton Keynes, good food and drinking places are on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend.

I had a chance to attend our team building meeting at this hotel. Really amazing place, friendly staff and quit surroundings made the whole even a great fun. It's located in the heart of Milton Keynes so access to public transport. Overall thank you for making our day successful and productive.

The room was lovely with a view looking out onto a golf course. The staffs were very helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant was nice and not overpriced. Would stay there again. As we are hoping to again next year.
