Nice rooms. Was just what I needed for a short term stop over. The staff are lovely, can't fault them.

Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, very friendly staff. Great for families.

Came here for a great cheap two night stay whilst visiting family Turns out it was the day that the place was reopening after a refit. Refit is superb loads more space and an adult only part away from families again what a fantastic idea. Food is fantastic in portion sizes, price, speed of service and taste. Staff can't do enough to help Coming here from now on when visiting Milton Keynes rather than other hotel groups 10/10.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable but thats the high points! The bathrooms are dated and the heating is provided by electric heaters. Not a problem in themselves but they are under the window and end up covered by the curtains so not heating the room. The attached pub is tired and served tepid food and breakfast wasn't much better and the staff were polite but scruffy to say they were front of house, Which I know may sound rude but first impressions are what you see. There was a broken toilet seat in the disabled toilets lying on the floor and my partner complained of a broken toilet in the ladies. It's not the worst we've been to but I'd try elsewhere first.

Basic, no frills hotel. Got more than I bargained for when I discovered the remnants of the Bismarck lurking in the old Gary Glitter… That said, the staff are very good and the bed is comfortable. The attached Hungry Horse eatery serves up half decent fayre at very reasonable prices… Wouldn't really recommend but it isn't that bad either to be fair.

Nice and clean comfortable shower over bath TV a bit iffy but avoid breakfast.

This place is fantastic. Great food and beer prices. This place is a must.

Excellent value, nice rooms, staff are exceptional — they even posted my pair of trousers I had left behind in the room! Highly recommended.

Relatively clean & tidy, nice quiet rooms, just check your kettle before you use it. Breakfast was good even though it was wrong but no big deal.

For the price, really pleased. Everything was really clean, big comfortable bed and breakfast included in price. Bathroom a bit dated but you really can't complain. Definitely recommended.

Room 26 first floor, comfortable stay, recommended. Hotel is in the middle of a make over, the bathroom in desperate need of an update.

Nice rooms, very English, good food in attached Hungry Horse pub, clean and reasonable, good breakfast.

Small hotel on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, cheap compared to the surrounding area. The spacious room with a massive bed, a TV, a kettle and coffee and tea to prepare in the same room. The hotel has a restaurant "typical English" that gives you the option of getting on the food to the room.

Got back from a weekend away with the mrs about 2 weekends ago and I must say I was very surprised with the hotel. I'm sorry to say that I wasn't really expecting much when she had told me that she had booked this for the 2 of us. It's actually really close to an outlet shopping centre which is great for her but more to the point it has some great pubs locally and not that far from Brierley Forest Golf Club which is a bonus for me. will be returning in the summer.

The new menu is good value. First visit food was excellent. Second visit made the mistake of ordering steak. It was so tough it wouldn't cut. No staff checking on satisfaction and when I did find a member of staff the answer was the Chef says sorry! What are they doing about it?
