Great budget hotel, fine breakfast, friendly staff, swimming pool and recliners.

Great little hotel, tucked away in the code and yet with a sea view. Frequent buses stop right outside and £8 gets you a day rover, so why bother with a car? Comfortable room with a good bed. No view from my room, but I don't care about that and the view from the conservatory is nice.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. We were attending a wedding at a much more expensive hotel which would have been out of our league with a standard room rate of 215 pounds per night! It turns out quite a few of the wedding guests were doing the same thing. The Miramar was 92 for a double room with excellent breakfast. A bit more than I would have liked but one of the cheapest in the area and jersey is generally expensive anyway. They have an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar, conservatory and terrace overlooking the pool. Friendly service and decent location. They even lent my wife an umbrella! The only let downs were the paper thin walls which meant we could hear everything in the neighbouring bedrooms and were even kept awake by someone else snoring. Our mattress had seen better days as well. Despite these issues however, if I was to visit jersey again I would be fairly likely to stay at the Miramar.

I been staying at this hotel for over ten years now that should speak for itself.

Staff very good creaky floor boards made disturbed nights.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was excellent in every respect. We have never had such a warm and friendly welcome in any other hotel as we did here. It might only be a 2 star hotel but we rate it with 5.
