Wow! Four different types of pillows to choose from. Very clean. Big TV. Free Wi-Fi. Free newspaper in the morning.

Us in House keeping only can do/complete what our duties are. We can not help if hotel is "damage" all we can do is our cleaning job. We have new housekeeping please give us a chance and stay at comfort inn Winchester.

Disgust! I have nothing but disgust for this hotel right now! Bed Bugs in the hotel room, that we had our two small children in, during a power outage, and we had no where to go! They also disclosed they had sprayed two days ago, so they didn’t understand how this happend! I talked to a exterminator, who told me by law if it had only been two days we shouldn’t have even been allowed in there! So we are out money bombing everything we own, my mom is out money because we had to stay at her house during the outage! And they offered us 50% to stay in the room? The room was nasty stained carpet and holes in the door, blood on the sink, sticky tiles! Awful.

Very quiet and clean. The staff her is awesome. I've stayed here three times now and they remember you.

Arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was very nice. She then indicated the room I had been assigned had a faulty lock and she would have to let me in. I explain to her that is not my preference so she reassigned us to a different room (322). After arriving at that room it’s locked was also faulty and she had to come let us in and said that if we need to get back in our room she would have to let us in. At this point in time we were tired and it wasn’t worth the debate. Upon entering the room there was dirt on the tile. There was also a couple of hairbands on the floor and after being in the room for about 10 minutes I felt a sharp pain in my foot which was a piece of glass that was stuck in my foot that was on the floor. Attached are pictures with details. Went over all this and check out.

I called, I booked. I clearly explained I am handicap and need special accommodations. I arrived. To be totally PROFILED.
handicapped people are not actually accommodated for disability just literally called trash by the man that called himself the owner of the inn and after verbally abusing me he called the police. Of course I explained to the officer calm and understanding that this isn't my first time being PROFILED because I dont LOOK handicapped. Like handicap has a look.

Not ADA compliant and extremely rude. Staff needs retrained. Never been treated so poorly in all our 70+ stays with the brand this year.

Good place to stay just off the Interstate. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast. The coffee is from a select a button machine and is almost palatable. Be prepared to go out to eat there is only a fuel station with a snack section.

The beds are comfortable, rooms were clean, friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool seemed clean until I looked at sides. It was so dirty, people were writing on the inside upper walls. This was at the Winchester Ky site.

Showers way to hot. Please adjust. Breakfast not impressed. Pool needs to be cleaned just below tiles very dirty, Bed was comfortable.

I don't even know where to start about our visit here. As someone who has stayed in everything from tents to resorts, I think I have a pretty good idea of what to expect from a Level 2/3 hotel. My mom has stayed at other locations and overall been happy so we decided to stay at this location. It was $95 for the night and seemed high for what you get but since it offered breakfast and had a pool we justified the cost. On first arriving, the lobby was clean and seemed welcoming although small for where you are also eating breakfast. This did prove true in the morning so we took it back to our room which was inconvenient when we needed something else. However, we checked in and proceeded to unload the car. On our way in the desk clerk said their system messed up and she needed my card again. So I had to stop with a cart of stuff and re-check in. The room was clean and an average size but the shower had mold as well as the grout in between the tile was as dark as the tile in many areas. This is usually a sign of things not being cleaned adequately but I have seen worse. When we looked at the window the screen was hanging off but it was 90 degrees so we weren't going to open the window. We proceeded to head to the pool where we were greeted with a sign that said the pool was being renovated but open. This proved to be an excuse as evidenced in the photos.

Don't make an online reservation for this hotel! We were very pleased with the Comfort inn we stayed at in Kansas so I made an online reservation for this one around 9:00 am the morning of my stay. When we arrived at 9:00 PM the front desk clerk gave me a terrible look right as I entered the lobby. She was flustered and assigning a room to other guests. She started looking my resrvation up and said she could see it but might not have anything for me. The people she had just assigned a room to then returned and stated that someone was IN the room she had just assigned them. I told her to just tell me if she didn't have anything available and she said she was sorry but they were full. I understand that she was stressed but she wasn't very sincere in her apology and offered no suggestion for alternatives until I asked. It was late and I had 3 little kids. I understand that issues happen but this could have been handled better. We ended up at the Holiday Inn Express around the corner and it was very pleasant. The clerk there actually offered a better explanation about the messed up online reservation issue and more comfort than the lady at the Comfort Inn did.

Enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great. Room was quiet at night. Room had a mildew smell coming from the bathroom. Loved having a refrigerator and microwave. Would stay there again.

It was a pretty good place to stay overnight, everything was as expected, but I have to give it 3 stripes based on the fact that the toilet paper was going the wrong way. The proper way is above and hanging from the front, this was not. Please don't let it happen again.

Very enjoyable stay. Mr. Patel and his crew very gracious and run a nice facility. I don't normally give 5 stars to hotels, usually something is not right. However, our place was clean, staff was polite, Mr. Patel was very helpful, and the staff went out of their way to assist us in recovering a lost item. These are good people.

The check in and out process was quick and easy. The breakfast is is what you would expect. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is the cleanliness of the room. I spilled a little water on the floor by the sink, and the tissue I wiped it up with was almost black. Also, the carpet area had small rocks. The A/C unit went from 70 degrees to 59 degrees. There was no in between. Do you either froze or burned up. Not what I would expect from a Comfort Inn.

The suite was roomy enough but it had the most uncomfortable furniture ever. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was standard and adequate. The "park at your own risk" signs in the parking lot were concerning. Has a few resteraunt within walking distance.

Toilet was clogged up, phone in room didn't work, bathtub so slick that I almost fell in the shower, no laundry facilities, breakfast was a joke!

Room was nice. It smelled either from the airs just being turned on or being right on top of the pool. The breakfast attendant was rude while I was trying to get breakfast.

This location is just… ok. I rate this location barely better than sleeping in your car. The room has a lot of wear and tear. Needs a lot of refreshing. I was also screwed out of my hotel rewards points on this stay. Watch out!

Nice soap, Nice soft towels, big nice rooms with lots of extra bed. With a swimming pool and big breakfast. *Recommended.

I've not had any issues up until this past weekend. Housekeeping threw away personal items "accidentally" and I asked GM for reimbursement of such items and basically said he will pass it on.

This location is just… ok. It beats sleeping in your car for sure. The room has a lot of wear and tear. Needs a lot of refreshing.

I went to Comfort Inn because my daughters friend was having a birthday party there. I was very clean and staff was very friendly. Pool area was nice.

Arrived at the hotel at 11 PM. Once there, tried to shower after traveling through the day. The water took 20 minutes to warm up beyond tepid, which was really sad after a long day. I hoped it was just because the water tank was low. Tried showering the next day and it still took over 20 minutes. Otherwise, the room was clean and suitable.

The room was great! Plenty of room for storing your clothes and stuff, a lot of outlets for charging devices, had a sofa bed as well as the 2 queen beds also had a desk, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker! The staff was helpful and friendly! My only downfall was about the pool the description said it was a heated pool but it wasn't the room was heated but the water was cold! Overall great place for the price!

What dump I am a maintenance Supervisor and their maintenance personal should be fired along with the manager for letting it happening, air conditioning didn't work wall's have no acoustic / insulation values, windows on ground floor had no lock in room 109. Room 107 has a wooden wedge shoved under toilet and chalked all over so it wouldn't leak and stinks to high heaven. We could have saved a lot of money and had the same room at a cracked hotel. And food was left in refrigerator when I opened it up so they really checked the room. And side access door doesn't work you have to put a rock in front in order to get back in what a safe place. Only thing that was nice was front desk person.

Great hotel for the value. I was in Winchester for a conference and the hosts suggested it. It was centrally located near interstate. Updated interior and well kept. Well beyond my expectations for the value.

I’ll start with the good. The lady who works the evening shift was super nice and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. However, when I request a queen sized beds, I typically expect actual queen sized beds. The beds in our room were maybe a full and when I said something at checkout, I was told it is a “double queen” or something like that. I have a queen bed at home. No way was what I slept in the past 2 nights a queen. Also, apparently you may want to check your water heater daily since it went a full day set to 90 forcing guests to take cold showers on Saturday!

Great place to stop! Had a gymnastics competition this weekend and stayed here. The pool was a bit small but the kids still enjoyed! Very friendly staff and nice rooms! Would stay again!

Everything was pretty good but, I had to take two stars because when I went to take a shower the water was cold. Even after letting it run for a few minutes! The staff was friendly and out going. We didn't have the breakfast that they offered because Cracker Barrel is right next door. Appearance of the hotel was clean and literally better then the others offered in the area. There is a Holiday in being built near by so there will soon be a better option if you want newer. The price for our stay was $81.96 after taxes and fees so the price is readonable. I would recommend this hotel overall for this area!

It was horrible. There was no one to be found at check in. Had to wait on someone to come. Then found out the front desk lady was outside in a vehicle with someone. I couldn’t understand anything she was saying when she finally came back in. Pretty sure she was high. I already called choice. Don’t stay here. Very unprofessional staff. Definitely don’t care about the guests!

We’ve stayed here several times in the past. Always kind and friendly staff on duty. However, since our last stay the hotel has had a complete make over and we were so impressed! Fantastic stay as always! Everything was so nice and clean, and smelled so fresh! If I had a negative it would be that the mattresses were a bit too hard for me; but the pillows are fantastic! Great job! FYI — in room amenities were awesome—very nice fridge and microwave, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. The free breakfast is all anyone could ask for! Sausage links, gravy, biscuits, waffles, syrup, juices, cereals, sliced bread for toast, pastries, coffee, milk, etc… we never miss it!

Wonderful stay. Elegant yet affordable, fabulous employees were courteous, kind, and very accommodating. If you ever stay in Mount Sterling I encourage you to book a room here. The Wi-Fi is free and you don't have to ask for the password, and the free breakfast was delicious. Has a pool and a fitness center. Right across the street is a Shell station with a Subway and a Crystals Chicken restaurant inside it. The Shell is open 24/7 but they shut down the in-store restaurants at ten I believe. There is also a Cattleman's Steakhouse and Cracker Barrel next door. Kroger's and Walmart very close as well. Overall this was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Very clean, peaceful, and affordable. Will definitely be back.

Stayed Christmas evening at Winchester, KY location. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Water was nice and warm. King size bed was very comfortable. Pillows were awesome. Will definitely stay again.

So this is basically the best deal for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, our breakfast was good, with a few hot options. Everything was easy and professional, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely our stop next time we are in the area.

Great place at a great price. Breakfast was more than adequate with cream cheese and pastries and grits and eggs. I am grateful that there was staff to let me in past midnight on thanksgiving night after a 6 hour drive. They were nice about it too.

Highly recommend this hotel! The front desk lady on 2nd shift is great, give her a raise! I’ll definitely be back. Clean rooms and a good breakfast.

My father and Uncle have been staying here while my grandmother is in the hospital in Lexington. From start to finish the staff have been extremely nice and accommodating. There was a bit of confusion on my part as I was intending to pay for the hotel stay, and as soon as I spoke with Ms. Tracy at the desk, everything was handled swiftly and courteously. My family cannot thank you enough for the kindness and caring your staff has shown in our time of need. Thank YOU!

I was worried after reading other reviews as people said the rooms and such were outdated and not clean. I stronly disagree. I'm a clean freak so I inspected the room immediately upon checking in. Room was clean! Spotless? (No, of course not. ) Comfortable beds. Pool area is wonderful. Breakfast was great. Employees are delightful. I made a request upon booking asking to be away from elevators/loud areas and they did exactly that! A card in the bathroom states they only doing cleanings every few days of your stay but that isn't true. The following morning after check-in they did a refresh cleaning. Restocked towels, emptied garbage, took dirty linins and so on. I would stay here again!

This motel was nice. Housekeeping needs a bit of a redo however. My tub took an entire night to drain and it looked like my bathroom was covered in nicotine. It says it's non smoking but I work in a motel and that room has definitely been smoked in. But they changed to non smoking without wiping down walls and doors. Was nasty. Front desk was not very friendly in the morning. I came down for breakfast and she was just laying on counter watching TV. I spoke to the breakfast lady but she didn't return. I would like to give kudos for the breakfast and the person who orders it. You are going above and beyond what is required from Choice and that means you care about guests and that they have a good stay. This motel could be great. Just needs more attention to cleanliness and friendliness. Pool was very cold for an indoor pool. But looked clean.

I am very unhappy.! This was probably my worst absolute worst hotel experience in my life! I have already reported to choice motels how absolutely terrible and atrocious this place is! I have already taken this silly survey three times. No one at the facility cared anything about their customers.

Several issues. Toilet backed up often. Key would not open door every other time we used it. A lot of smokers standing right outside main entrance. A. C. Unit sounded like a Mack truck every time it started.

Stayed with family here overnight, 5 people total. Spacious, comfortable room. Large enough to have a couch and a coffee table. Excellent beds (queen size in our room) and a continental breakfast.

Great staff. The room was perfect for our family. The beds and pillows were super comfy. We were returning from a family reunion in the midst of a 12 hour drive with our 1 year old. The hotel was a great place to allow him to play and stretch before resuming the remaining 8 hour drive home. If we'd known there was a pool, we'd have brought swim suits. Will plan to stop again.

Try to use Comfort when I travel but this one gets an "F" in my book. Tried to get change for the vending machine at the front desk but they don't give change due to a recent robbery. Okay, tried the credit card slot on the machine and it debited my card but didn't dispense. Lack of management checking the equipment in the hotel. I sure as hell am not chasing the vending distributor for $2.00… I've got business to take care of. Next, toilet seat was as close to falling off as possible. Tightened myself. Finally the room phone does not work. Needless to say this hotel is not on my return stay list. Disgusted.

Remodeled recently on the outside. Not so much on the inside. SMALL bathrooms. Must close door to take shower. Sink outside bathroom. Water pressure is OUTSTANDING and hot water is ready and HOT. Elevator is small and slow and needs remodel badly. Front desk is ALWAYS unattended.

Nice, clean, updated spacious rooms. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. However, I did book directly with them online and there was a special request box. I asked for extra shampoo etc for the duration of my stay. I usually don't get housekeeping for short visits. My request was not fulfilled. Front desk was happy to provide and explained that she didn't understand why the online site offers that option if they are not able to view the special requests. So call directly after booking to ensure your request is honored. Pool small but clean. Breakfast is great and clean. Very much enjoyed my stay. It was my 1st time at this location.

The hotel was ok, & the continental breakfast was ok as well. Got a good nights sleep; then we woke up to the cloth chair in our room covered in ants! They were all over our tablets, & computer bag. Not something I wanted to wake up too. I'm glad we didn't have anything else sitting in the chair or my kid didn't get bit while he sat in the chair for a few mins last night (7/5/17). Told the front desk the next morning, they made a note of it & that was it. No discount on our room or anything.

I was traveling home with my family. We just needed a place to sleep for a couple hours. Comfort Inn was decent and friendly. The beds were comfortable and continental breakfast was pretty good.

Stayed for work in the area. Staff was very nice and helpful. Some areas are showing their age, but overall everything was acceptably clean and nice. My room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and will stay on my next visit.

On June 23 I checked into the Comfort Inn in Winchester, KY. My cell phone didn't have good coverage so I had some business associates try to call me back thru the Inn's telephone system. Three attempts did not get an answer at the front desk. The clerk was chatting with someone out on the driveway and on another later attempt they were told the clerk didn't know how to ring the room. Not very professional.

Great price for what it offers. 3rd floor hallway did smell like smoke but the room didn't and was clean. The thick curtains don't close which we thought was kind of odd. We only stayed about 5 hours passing through town but if we find our selfs here again we would stay here. The staff attire could use some help but the service was great as well as the breakfast. Over all, everything was possitive!

The price point is great, they have updated the rooms etc but the quality of the workmanship done was really poor. Nothing to bad but small stuff like doors a little off, dripping bathtub. The pool is nice but same thing it needs a little updating. The breakfast is pretty darn good though. I would stay here again no question but other people might have much higher standards than I do. It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel but the 3rd floor hallway smells of smoke (not as Smokey as vegas). But inside our room doesnt smell at all which is great. Our room has a small mini fridge and microwave. It is in great proximity to tonnes of stores and restaurants. Walmart, KFC, Taco Bell, golden coral, McDonald's, Wendy's and more.

As soon as we pulled up I knew there would be issues. No lighting. Drywall and paint buckets out front. The lobby was completely gutted. My first thought was we had booked another hotel, but alas, it was the one. The construction dust and smells immediately started getting to my sinuses, but I thought the room might be better. No. I called to get another floor but the entire first and third floors were closed for construction. I think the clerk the situation was not acceptable and she said I would not be charged. We walked across to the Ramada, which was ok. I am still irritated that nothing was posted on line about the major construction and it seemed the price was not much reduced. The topper was the clerks statement that there would not be any inconvenience from the construction. Please!

The rooms are clean and spacious. Location there is a cracker barrel within walking distance from hotel. They have good breakfast for the guests.

We booked the room, arrived, and they told us they see our reservation, but the room we were promised was not clean. After about 10 minutes, the woman told us we could either take a one bed room (not happening since we have 2 kids too) or wait for a half hour while they clean one. It was late, but we decided to wait. Right after, they told us that they do have another room available, but did not think to offer it to us. It was a double queen, so we took it. In the room, I could smell something strange but was unsure what it was. It was late, so we went to bed. I got up to turn the air on and this horrid, musty smell came from the air unit so I quickly shut it off. In the morning, I woke up with a stuffy nose and a terrible headache. My daughter had similar issues, and coughing. I opened the curtains to find that there was blackish mold all around the windows and ceiling. I see the curtain rods were coming out of the ceiling because it was completely saturated. After looking, the air unit was all moldy. I took pictures. The man at the front desk asked what room I was in. I told him 204 and he said that side of the hotel, including the rooms above and below that one should not have been used because of major leaks. The women the night before had to have known that room was in such condition and were just being too lazy so late to clean us another room. Horrible what horrid conditions me and my children (one with severe allergies and asthma) were knowingly allowed to sleep in.

Just had a great stay here. Rates are reasonable, continental breakfast with hot food available. Spacious rooms, cleanliness was on point! Thanks staff at inn of Mt sterling. Shout out to, Tara, and Rainey, and Cissy!

My room and the hallway smelled like an ashtray, the phone in my room didn't work, I could hear the TV in the room next to me like it was in my room and I had to get four different room keys (two each day) just to get in my room. Definitely not what I expected out of a Holiday Inn/ Holiday Inn Express. The only good thing about this Holiday Inn Express was the customer service.

Not what we are used to from holiday inn. It feels like it should be sold and turned into a comfort Inn or something along those lines. Very run down, stains on wall, luggage cart fell apart in my hands. We didn't receive anything for being a platinum member like we would normally. It's the kind of room where you feel the need to check under the bed and under the bedding.

I am an HIG rewards member and of all the Holiday Inns I have had the pleasure of booking and staying at, this hotel was the worst experience of all. The room was dusty and moldy lights did not work, not enough towels for all occupants and I could go on and on. Suffice it to say, this is not how a motel with a Holiday Inn brand name should be run.

I stay in Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses all year round for work. It's disappointing to know that there is no laundry room. Staff is courteous but lacks energy and you rarely find them behind the counter. They are often found watching TV in the breakfast area, specially at night. The rooms are nothing special, as all other Holiday Inns. They either smell moist or moldy or both. That's the rule for almost all Holiday Inns I've been nationwide throughout the years. Holiday Inn Expresses are always newer looking, cleaner, more comfortable and offers better service overall.

This one was a little old compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses. It wasn't cheaper. I still liked it. No HDTV, The free computer printer in the lobby had no ink, It was very clean and quiet, I had a nice stay.
