Parking is the worst on the streets and valets parking $50 per night, my room only had 2 towels and two wash clothes and no cup to use.

Everyone we encountered was very helpful. I was traveling with my elderly mom and the purpose of the trip was for a Doctor visit. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had a double queen room with accessible bathroom that was very comfortable, clean and met all our needs. The food in the restaurant downstairs was very good and the room service was quick. The location is only minutes from the Georgetown University Hospital and DCA (airport). Close to all the wonderful restaurants Georgetown has to offer, as well as close to the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.

We had a fantastic stay! The shower was not running correctly and I let the staff know. Within a few hours it was completely fixed. When does that happen? Usually you have to switch rooms but their staff was on it! We loved the staff here. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. Also, delicious water every day fresh with cucumbers or another fruit. The elevator rocks, no one can go up without a key and thus it is super secure. The pool was great too! I did laps on the roof. It was easy for lap swimming then caught the sunset while drying. It was not heated. The staff again was fantastic and we picked such a great place randomly for our visit to Washington. Perfection.

Nice services, gently staff good facilities. Tho for a two hundred dollars per night I would expect that the bathroom won't flood every time one get a shower, plus some socket is definitely not working.

Great location, and amenities. The staff was excellent. Particularly the Manger, Irene, that tried really hard to have the mildew smell in the bathroom corrected. Overall a good place to stay, right near all the good stuff in DC.

Haven't been to DC in quite some time, this hotel was amazing. Clean rooms, polite front desk, great time. Parking rate should be adjusted however, had to find parking elsewhere.

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing as you get into the lobby. There is a restaurant connected to it that you can sit outside and enjoy the sites. It's across the street from a gas station in case you have a car and need a gas up before heading out. It is about a 15 minute walk from the metro. There was infused water at check in and the staff were pleasant and polite when we checked in. The room was nice and clean and it faced out to the street. We didn't get to go to the pool this time but it was nice to know there was that amenity (maybe next trip! ) There is a nice patio area on the second floor and a laundry facility in case you need it. Overall it was pleasant and restful.

The location is great, room was spacious and clean. The reception crue was very kind and helpful. We had a problem with cleaning service: one day they cleaned the room very late and only after we reminded them, and the following day they forgot again. Other two days were okay.
The pool is small but nice. Overall experience — for this price we expected more.

Rude staff including the manager. My friend and me stayed at this hotel and we are very disappointed. The room was not cleaned even after calling front desk. When we complained to front desk we were promised that assistant manager will call us and nobody did. When we called second time we talked to a female who called herself a manager and she said we had a do not disturb sign. This is a lie. The woman kept insisting that the room was not cleaned only because of the sign. Arguing with the customer like that is not acceptable. As a result the room was not cleaned and employee lied abou the sign. It just seemed like nobody cared about the guests. This hotel is overpriced and service sucks. Shameful management runs this place.

Clean, friendly staff, organized and spacious atmosphere. Great place to hold any sized events. Overall good energy. I did not stay in any room but did attend an event in one of the conference rooms. Great area!

The Hilton Garden Inn @ Georgetown is pretty much what it says on the tin, a Hilton Hotel. There is no guest or visitor parking outside of a valet which costs $50 per day (March 2018), an exceptionally underwhelming and overpriced restaurant off the lobby and standard hotel rooms above. The room was clean, I will say that. Now, it was not very soundproof (could hear a pin drop in the hallway) and the entire hotel outside of the room felt like it was a bit dated with a rather musty smell. Slow elevators which seemed to work on their own schedule rounded out the reasons why I can't give anything above a (hesitant) 3 star review. Location wise, this hotel is very near the Embassies in Georgetown, however it is not very central in location. It's about a 1/2 mile walk to the nearest Metro Station (Foggy Bottom @ GWU) and probably another 1/2 mile walk to any meaningful shopping in Georgetown. For the price I'd most likely consider looking for something a bit more centralized in DC closer to the National Mall but it will serve in a pinch.

Good service. Clean room. Rooftop pool wasn't open yet for the summer, but looked like a neat opportunity.

Lovely hotel, moderate-high pricing. Absolutely love the location since it's a little escape from the city while still being in the city. Little tip, the concierge won't tell you about the Ritz Carlton self park parking garage right next door for $35 24 hour when the Hilton's is $50+tax ($59) and you have to tip the valet every time they get your car.

If I could rate them a 0 I would. TERRIBLE service, we were suppose to check in at 4pm for four rooms that were not ready until 7:30pm. Which is ridiculous, on top of that they changed our room set up and gave us one king instead of two queens making it extremely uncomfortable for my friends and I. A few days later my friend checked her bank account and they had not once or twice but charged her three times for the same four rooms. I’ve tried to call accounting/billing but no one has gotten back to me. Will not ever been stay here or within the Hilton hotel branch ever again. Marriott is much better service.

I am reaching out because I am sincerely appalled in the attitude of one of your managers at the Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area. This was a business trip that I had to attend and due to the holidays, I brought my girlfriend with me en-route. She is a marine veteran with severe PTSD issues in which she heavily relies on our service dog, Bonzo for. When booking the reservation I was sure to selected disability, and mark that there would be a service animal, knowing fully well that this residence was a pet free zone. I even contacted the hotel before-hand to give fair warning. Check-in went smooth and as we were approaching the elevator, your ‘director’ Abbie C. So rudely approached us proclaiming this was a no-pet establishment. Her tone so crass, without practicing any empathy or assuming positive intent. We stated that this was a service animal, and she had the nerve to ask why it was in service. This is illegal. She should NOT need to ask what our medical condition is. With great urgency in her questioning we finally answered in that the animal was for PTSD. She then asked what room we were staying in and let us on the elevator. For someone who is in the field of hospitality, she was very rude and extremely uptight. I have never been more dismayed to have been treated in the way she did.

I would like to give a shout out to the Front Desk Supervisor Joseph Stokes and his fabulous entourage staff. Shema Front Desk clerk and Phaedra Valet Service. All I can say. Omg. They showered me with so much customers service A+. Rating. I will always stay there when I travel to DC. Not to mention it was the best birthday weekend ever in my entire life, and it was because of the those three individuals that made my weekend unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of my ❤.

Awesome location and really nice rooms. Cute little bar and restaurant down stairs. It’s no problem to store you bags before check in and plenty of parking garages around if you don’t want to use valet.

I went to an event. The catering was very good and in general the services were good.

The rooms are nice and clean. From here you can walk to the metro and the restuarantes in Dupont Circle.

Friendly reception, comfortable beds and sufficiently large rooms. Could use shower gels instead of the bar soap. Given the price could have had more basic amenities such as the razor and bottled water in the room. The cafe/restaurant downstairs (opens at 7am) is a nice place for breakfast.

The rooms very comfortable and spacious, but what we loved was the location, walking you have everything, bars restaurants, subway stations… woow. Excellent.

Love Hilton in general, this one was no different. A little higher end (cafe with 15$ breakfast vouchers instead of a free basic buffet) and the breakfast was AMAZING. I recommend the eggs Benedict *highly*.

The people were polite and helpful at every moment. They we're flexible with our requests. It's only about. 4 of a mile to two metro stops to get on most of the lines you'd want.

Good, newer property (around 2-3 years old, I think). Has a roof-top outdoor pool though it's closed in the winter. Corner premium rooms are very nice, with all around windows and walk in shower. Standard HGI amenities. Good service at front desk and elsewhere. Breakfast is at restaurant connected to hotel. Service there is hit and miss. A hike to the museums and stuff, but good location for Georgetown area. Metro station is maybe 10 minutes walk away. I've stayed here often, especially when the Fairmont (2 blocks away) is charging crazy prices or full.

Great hotel and they always take care of their diamond members. We received a very nice room and couldn’t believe the location! Very close to DuPont circle and other great neighborhoods, and very walkable to the metro. On site parking is pricey but they were happy to direct me to a nearby garage that was only $30 overnight. Don’t rent a pickup though, most local garages cut off around 6’ for vehicles so get a sedan!

Modern hotel, peaceful atmosphere. Amazing staff. Great location. Quiet room. Small, but functional rooftop pool. Bar in the lobby. Front desk personnel were helpful and informative.

The staff is very nice and friendly. The pool is very small and was very dirty. I'm not sure what it was but it was very murky. I was charged for the free internet. Make sure you check your bill there is also a hidden fee for the valet parking they tack on approximately $7 and some change for tax valet parking. Have a very difficult time calling the front desk when they are busy they just simply hang up on you or they do not answer the phone. Shower was clogged up had to unplug the refrigerator because it was making a loud noise.

Pros: The property was very easy to get to, and is walking distance to many great restaurants and to Georgetown. This is a nice hotel, with modern amenities and decor. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave. Cons: The room was a bit cramped, and the bed was very uncomfortable with extremely soft pillows. There was not a lot of dresser space and only a couple of hangers in a closet that was very close to the bed. The walls and door was a bit thin because you can hear everything. The bathroom did not have a lot of space around the sink/counter or below the sink area.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The lobby and rooms were both very modern and we'll kept. The room was clean and had a nice view of the streets. Any employees that I enteracted with were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay at this location again.

Close to both Georgetown and Dupont Circle this hotel is ideally situated. Although Metro stops (Farragut West and Dupont) are a bit of a walk (about 10 minutes in either direction) there are several restaurants nearby along with other shopping necessities (a Walgreen's and a Starbucks. Rooms were nicely appointed with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The roof top pool is nice albeit only lap pool size (slightly larger and only 3 feet deep) do if you're expecting a nice swim you might be underwhelmed. Elevators ran a bit slow.

This is not your average Hilton Garden Inn. It has a much more sophisticated feel about it, and the public spaces are attractive and inviting, especially the outdoor patios. Rooms are not overly large, but do feature adequate work space, a seating area as well as a microwave and mini fridge. AC was super cold during a very hot period in Washington. As a Hilton Diamond member, I received a $30 credit towards breakfast for two at the Café Deluxe. My wife and I very much enjoyed our steak & eggs (mine) and the salmon eggs Benedict Florentine (hers). Our server, Jamal, was super enthusiastic and started our day with good cheer and broad smiles. We were sorry we hadn't the opportunity to experience dinner there, as their menu and price points were quite appealing. We look forward to staying again on our next visit to Washington, as the location is well suited to our needs.

Rooms are a decent size. DirecTV, free Wi-Fi, room service for dinner only til 9pm. More of a boutique hotel in it's size (pools, lounge area, etc).

The location is great! Within walking distance of many places. Was disappointed that I did a check-in online for a room facing the street and ended up with a room facing the building behind me. When checking in there were 2 people in front of me complaining about their room assignments. The beds are very loud too. Anytime you move they creek. Not the best Hilton if stayed in.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is deplorable. OK in the morning, but almost unusable in the evening. Everything else about the hotel is fine, but if getting a decent Wi-Fi connection is important, this hotel belongs at the bottom of the list.

I stayed here at the end of February for a bachelorette party. I left a purple Fitbit Flex on the counter of the bathroom and have not received so much as a call back from management nor housekeeping. I've been calling every week and have not received a single call back. Horrible customer service and not the service I expect from Hilton.

Recognized as a Hilton Diamond member and revived a room on the top floor. Rooms look and feel new. The bathroom has a very nice shower but feels a bit small. Hotel itself is located in a great area with metro located a couple block away. Hotel only has valet parking around $40 a night. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and spacious; the location close to the metro and safe; the service more or less, we ask for extra water and we pregutaron if we were diamond members, and when we asked for glasses extra we were told that we had to find. Good service had set brought. Even haci I would recommend this hotel to whom want to.

This place is a little hard to find the entrance for. Lovely inside. Quite secure. Super accommodating I showed up way before check in and they found me a room.

Frankly its not at all worth the money. Service is below average. Front desk is rude and dont care. There is construction going right behind the building — a new building is coming up and there is noise. I stayed for a week and had asked my room to be moved — due to construction noise. They said they would "get back to me" the next day but no one did. After checkout I realized that I forgot my phone charger in the room. I was told the house keeping has already left for the day and they would mail me back my charger. Now after 4 days and multiple phone calls there is no response from them. They keep saying house keeping needs to respond. Please save yourself some headache — and go to other places nearby.

This hotel is fantastic. The service was great, the rooms were nice and the location is fantastic. Only about a 10 minute walk to Dupont circle. Even the small things were great, like a Keurig in the room and DirectTV with a ton of channels.

Absolute Top Hotel… everything was very clean and tidy as it should be… the location is also good, it is a 25 min walk to the White house.
