The people at this hotel are angels! We were displaced by hurricane Florence and arrived tired and stressed. They had a room for us and our 2 dogs. We had a hot breakfast and was finally able to get some rest! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. We will be back to visit in happier days!

Shower was filthy. Water spots in the cieling. Electricity went out at check out time. Breakfast was okay and people who worked there were okay too. No convenience store at the front.

Digital key didnt work. The NA was not nice at all. Didn't even know that they had a specific room. Thought I was supposed to be checking into a different hotel. Breakfast was great, the morning FDA was lovely, and the room (while a little outdated) was great.

This place was great. No pet fees or breed/weight restrictions for dogs. The hot Breakfast was pretty good as well. The room was clean and comfortable. There was an indoor pool that looked alright but we never used it.

The Hotel Desk was very friendly, the room appeared to be clean, BUT the A/C was not working in the hallway and it was humid and stuffy. Not sure what the cause, but the room was damp, the sheets were damp to the point we were not comfortable sleeping. It felt like you were camping.

Do not stay at this hotel if you suffer in poor air quality conditions. On the surface, this is a good hotel. However, within a few minutes of being in the room, I noticed that my breathing had become more labored. I noticed a pill on the floor under the sink shelf that did not come from us. I have children, so this was troubling to me. There were items on the edges of the bathroom floor which remained throughout our stay. After our last (third) night, as I was clearing the room, I noticed several patches of mold/mildew on the doors between the connecting rooms. My daughter, son, and I, who have allergies are still really struggling. My husband, who does not usually react, noticed an impact on his breathing as well.

The hotel lobby was clean and the hotel is in a great location to food and shopping. I had a wonderful experience during my check-in, but that is were it ended. The rooms need to be updated and level of cleanliness is substandard. The sheets look like they have not been changed after checkouts and there were empty liquor bottles in my closet. You can tell that the housekeeping supervisors are not inspecting the rooms. To top it all off, I woke up to ants. This was the most disappointing and discussing experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this particular property for anyone to stay in.

Nice room, nice pool and friendly staff. The hotel was fully booked due to power outages in the area, yet when our room air was not working properly the front desk gave us their own fan to help us out. Would stay there again.

Rooms are clean and functional. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about. However the continental breakfast leaves something to be desired. My advice: skip their breakfast and walk over to the IHOP that's right beside it.

Down in Virginia for a wedding. Courteous staff, decent breakfast, clean rooms. No complaints.

Perfect location for the NASCAR race, will be staying here agaib in September, its an easy drive, easy to get too, and with walmart, waffle house, ruby tuesday, outback, and cracker barrel all right there makes it so convenient. Only downfall was no hot water the morning after the race, but everything else was fine.

The friendliest staff I have ever met. Place was immaculate and the breakfast was good.

Good standard breakfast, Comfortable clean room, and pet friendly. Room rate was a bit high but was compareable to other rooms in the area.

I spent two nights here and I have to say the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was nicely set up but it was in the stuffy side and the air was a bit musty. The Wi-Fi was very frustrating. I had to call down several times. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was excellent.

Front desk was so very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very accommodating. Wish the pool heater was working but still had an enjoyable time sitting in the pool area with our friends chit chatting. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We will be back I’m sure.

My parents stayed here in their hearing disabled room and that worked great for them.

1st room we we're given toilet did not flush. Changed room right away without hassle. At breakfast 7:45am watching the news, housekeeping decides to vacuum entire floor. I guess they can't wait until after 10 when breakfast ends and guests aren't in area. 9:00 am paper slides under our door that they cannot clean our room due to the Do Not Disturb sign. Left room at 9:50am removing sign. Returned to room at 8:30 PM, room never cleaned! No clean towels. Call front desk & was told we need to go down and get then ourselves since she was alone. (there's no one else to bring up towels? Does housekeeping leave by 10 am? She wasn't alone 2 minutes prior when we walked through lobby. She was with another person watching TV in lobby). I expect decent service, would love a place that would go above and beyond to satisfy a guest and to show the guests that they are truly happy they selected their hotel over others. But that didn't happen and I will not waste my hard earned money at this hotel again!

As a Hilton employee I stay at a lot if hotels. This Hampton is smaller than some of the other Hampton where I have stayed before. Note that they have a door you can access on the end of the hotel, but there is no sidewalk to access it. The room was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

The Front Office Manager Robbie is awesome. Erica is the Director of Sales and Joseph the General Manager are wonderful people.

Nice hotel with a convenient location. Many locals don't even know it is tucked away where it is. Convenient to the interstate, gas, restaurants, WalMart and other shopping. Used often for corporate travelers, but just as good for families.

The hotel was clean. I checked in around midnight and the attendant was playing games on his phone. He was not at the check in counter, he was in the guest lobby area. I had no idea he worked there. He was not pleasant like most Hampton inn employees and he made me feel awkward and uncomfortable with his eyes questions about why I look nervous. I wasn't nervous I was just tired because it was the end of a work night for me and you were standing in the guest lobby area playing video games on your phone. If there was any look on my face it was confusion on why a guest was asking me if I was checking in. Again I had no idea that this guy work there. His shirt was horribly wrinkled and he sort of slowly walked back to the check-in counter and ask for my ID more than twice. I already had checked in online so I wasn't sure why I had to show him my id, two times. Anyways it was a bad experience and I hope to not ever have to stay at this location again.

Room smelled strongly of air freshener and was left very cold. Briefly ran the heater, only to find we had burnt dust on the element, making the room smell worse. Sheets were uncomfortable. Hotel was otherwise nice.

So disappointed… the room was hot when I got in so I turned the temp down but it never got cooler. Called guest services and she was helpful and called engineering but all he did was turn the temp up and said it would cool off. It never did. Still very hot. And the hvac was loud the whole night. And I woke up earlier than planned to ALOT of road noise. Not as good as other Hampton Inns I have stayed at.

This was my second stay here. Room was clean. Lobby was noisy well past quiet time as there was a group celebrating something. Noise didn't reach our room down the hall so I didn't care. The location was a convenient stop on way to outer banks from west virginia. Parking lot was well lit. Front desk staff was friendly and quick to help.

Super friendly and accommodating staff! Good location just off exit with gas station and a lot of restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in the area on business.

It was a mixed bag. It felt more like a 3 star hotel at 4 star pricing. It's the little amenities like single ply scratchy toilet paper and no housekeeping visit on the second day. The breakfast was good and having coffee available 24hrs was good. They had issues with the pool too. The chemical balance was off and it irritated my kids' skin and eyes. It was resolved the next day. I wasn't satisfied overall. I would not recommend it.

This hotel represented a good halfway point on our trip to the Outer Banks. It is very close to the interstate which minimizes unneeded driving. During our stay the staff was polite and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the lone desk attendant still opened doors for us and took care of everything we needed. The room was nice and well equiped with a fridge, microwave, and the usual smaller appliances. Good water temp and pressure during our showers. The free breakfast was good. I always enjoy the waffles and the bacon and potatoes we're good. The egg and cheese bagel half and the fruit were not so good. The staff struggled to keep the breakfast foods stocked but it was peak breakfast hour and managed to replenish anything within 10 minutes or so. Overall it was the pleasant stay that I expect from a Hampton Inn.
