Dear MELISSA Thank you for the fantastic job you have been doing for me lately. Your hard work and dedication has really helped me out during difficult times. I just wanted to make sure you know how much you are valued and appreciated. We know that the recent round of lay-offs has been very bad for company morale. Not only are people worried about losing their money but also many people are out there receiving their withdrawal every day You come in early stay late and even use your free time to help pitch in and get things done. Thank you MRS MELISSA CRYPTO for your hard work and dedication to me both throughout the past few months and even before that. We really appreciate all that you do. We showed up around 7:40 pm & recieved Fast delicious food & solid service!
Beautiful campground and lots of stars shining down on us.
Service was awesome and so was the food. The decor is beautiful as well. The ladies restroom was spotless and the decor so cool that I took pictures.
The food was amazing, we had dinner but originally just came for some pie! Had a variety of food and it all was a hit!
Good food for a fair price and great pie.
Stopped in while driving bye. Definitely a stop to make when your hungry. Amazing food and great service.
Excited to be here my first time to visit UTAH and we were greeted with great customer service.
I have been here multiple times and had great service and great food. The pies are homemade and amazing. Unfortunately after waiting more then an hour we left.
On one cold morning riding on the Harley… we stopped by to get warm Nd hVe breakfast. So glad we did. We had a Ham and cheese. Nd a Denver omlets. Do darn good!
excellent friendly service! if we're ever by this way again will Def. Stop.
PS… coffee was fresh and hot!
The food tonight was absolutely awesome and worth the wait. Hollie was a great server and if anyone gets her they are blessed.
Amazing place with awesome service, both at the hotel and the restaurant! You have to try the horse rides and the pies!
Friendly cheerful service with large drinks and good food.
Delicious. Elk buger amzing.
Ordered a turkey melt sandwich and it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
We were greated and treated by very nice and attentive personal. After meal we had delicious homemade strawberry and banana cream pie. But it is not only why I liked the place. This place has character! I had the feelling that I got somewhere in a past! Different kinds of vintage stuff around the restaurant makes you feel like you are in a museum. Our waiters told us story about first owners of the restaurant and showed us pictures of them carefully hanged on the wall. Everything is very well maintained which sais a lot about owners and personal! I would defiantly recommend the place and if we will be in Utah we will visit the restaurant again!
Family owned and operated. Fantastic home made food and pie. We should have stayed at their RV park. Will do next time!
We liked this place so much we went for breakfast and late lunch. Eggs done right. Hash browns crispy… coffee strong enough. At lunch. Delicious burgers. Salad with home made blue cheese dressing that was excellent. Served by friendly efficient people
we took home a piece of their famous pie!
All of this was in stark contrast to the not-great food and careless service we received at Rubies. We were so grateful for this alternative.
Very local and great food!
Clean, friendly, great restaurant!
Pies. Many pies. The burgers were excellent and the salad was fresh. Pies are generously sized and yummy down to the flaky crust. Staff friendly and knowledgeable and efficient.
It was amazing… the food was great with good service…
Excellent food, good service. What more could you ask for.
The food was great with ample portions. Service is a little slow. For dessert I tried the sour cream and raison pie. YUM! The wait is long since this a popular place. Recommend you get there early to try and avoid the line.
Four stars for what it is. Get there before 4:30 pm or be prepared to wait upwards of two hours. Portions are quite large, you get A WHOLE LOAF OF BREAD (see photo). Butter needs salt though. Sides came out cold. Stick to pie. Pie was great, but they ran out of banana blueberry cream pie so I didn’t get try Ethel’s famous cream topping and ask for the family recipe. Chairs are good for posture. Comes with some interesting table reading. Four stars.
Service was mediocre
Food was cold and prepared incorrectly and they have a fly problem, so much there were flies in our French toast. Don’t recommend.
This restaurant is wonderful! I wanted to eat out my last night in Bryce so I looked up the nearest restaurants and saw this one had the best reviews. The menu didn't look like anything overly special but I saw some things I'd like and decided to check it out based on the reviews. I ordered the iced tea with a shot of peach and it came in a huge jar and was delicious. The peach gave the unsweetened tea just enough sweetness that it was perfect. They also brought me a nice fresh mini loaf of bread with butter. It was SO good! I decided to order the Chicken Fried Chicken with fries and asparagus and everthing tasted delicious, including the asparagus which I'm often disappointed with in restaurants. My waitress was also very friendly and helpful and I was seated and served quickly. This was one of the best meals I've had in a while and I will definitely be eating here the next time I'm in the area!
Excellent restaurant! The staff was lovely and tentative. My waitress Carissa was amazing and recommended the fried Zucchini and the club sandwich, both were massive amounts of food and equally great. The sandwich was huge and I couldn't finish it. I ordered a Uinta beer and it was served to me in a Frozen beer glass which was amazing after being out in the sun all day. This place does get very crowded but it's worth the wait.
The family went to this restaurant for dinner, but at 8pm there was a 45min wait to be seated! So, we went back the next day for a late lunch, and sat immediately. Our server was friendly and warned us of an 8 person table with separate checks ahead of us, but despite this, we were eating soon. My chicken sandwich had a patty half the size of the bun, but the elk burger was nicely cooked and will proportioned. It's a good stop in an area with few options.
The Pines has delicious food and when they say the pie is incredible, they mean it. Great atmosphere and staff. One difficult thing in a tourist area is finding a restaurant that is consistent with their hours and food. The food at the Pines is always really good and is always the same. Definitely worth the drive. I'm a local so I can't comment on their hotel except to say I have heard good comments about their rooms.
We all had burgers at the restaurant. It was very good. The service was good but we were there pass the lunch hours. The burgers were slightly charred on the outside which is how I like it. Most restaurants in this area are slow because it can be busy during peak periods. We also had their homemade pie which was very good. The also have kid and senior portions which is perfect for us.
This review is strictly about our experience and not about the quality of food. 1 week ago myself and 3 others stopped in at 2:45 in the afternoon on a Sunday. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait before being able to be seated which was fine, it was when we finally got seated where our issues started. Again there were 4 of us and our table only had 2 glasses, 2 rolls of silverware, 4 menus… and no water. We were the first to be seated, ahead of 3-4 other groups that came in the door behind us and there were maybe 2 other tables in the restaurant that already had customers. Those other groups were seated, greeted by their waitresses, given water and some even had their food… before we had even seen our waiter. Numerous times we walked up to several different waitresses stating that we had yet to be served by anyone… 10 minutes passed… then 18… then 25…! After 25 minutes one person in our party stood up and again asked a waitress about our waiter/waitress and were once again told "Oh I'll get your waiter, he’ll be out right away" but this time we were pretty sure the message wasn't getting delivered so we stood and waited. 3 minutes later someone finally emerged (who we hadn't seen before) to serve us. When the waiter finally arrived at the table he got his notepad out and a pen and just waited… didn't introduce himself… didn't have any water… nothing. We asked "should we… can we order? " and he responded with a rude and almost impatient "yeah, order".
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly face. I felt welcomed right away. The wait was not long to be seated or to get our food. I had a turkey melt that was delicious and a chocolate cream pie that was out of this world. Everything was simple, but very tasty! If I ever come back to Bryce Canyon, I will definitely be coming here.
Very good restaurant close to the Bryce Canyon National Park. Reasonably priced food with large portion sizes. We had breakfast and dinner here. We were very happy with the food on both occasions. The pies are the best part though… We had the lemon cream, chocolate cream and the sour cream raisin pies… delicious! Seriously… save room for the pies!
Bryce Canyon Pines is well placed for Bryce Canyon National Park being about a 10 minute drive from the park entrance. We had a king cabin which was clean, with a small bathroom, king size bed and a small veranda to sit on.
As we have found in America they were mean with the drinks supplied in the room. There were two sachets of coffee for the filter machine on arrival, but they were not replenished on our second day.
We ate at the on site restaurant and the food was good and the staff efficient and friendly.
This place was recommended by our cashier at the Bryce Canyon visitor's center as his favorite restaurant in the area. We weren't disappointed! Great ambiance, great service, and great food! Our waitress was so nice, my daughter loved her! She even recommended other things to visit in the area. We'll definitely be back!
This restaurant is a mixed bag. I ate here twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. They can be quite busy and arguably understaffed. You can be seated at your table and wait minutes before your server stops by. The server quality varies too. In terms of food, despite the place having a homemade vibe, the fruit pies clearly have canned filling and are not the least bit tasty. That said, their veggie breakfast omelet is unbelievable value. It's 3 eggs overflowing with veggies and cheese, with hash browns and two slices of toast for $8. If you are looking for something lighter, the oatmeal is pretty good. The tomato soup I had with dinner was one of the best ever.
Nice and well decorated place. Good service. Good quality of the meal. Parking very widely sized. A few miles from the entrance to the park. Good value for money.
Great American Breakfast. Prices in the norm.
Take note diners, breakfast spots, fancy restaurants and cafes. This is how breakfast is done! Simple, clean fresh and delicious. A 2 egg breakfast with home fries, toast and coffee for $6.95. Eggs fluffy and cooked to perfection. And orange marmalade! If I had a tail it would be wagging. Husband had an omelette he claimed to be the best he's ever had. The place is quintessential country. Knotty pine wood booths and country music. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Plus they have books to read on their tables. What more could you ask for?
(Note: Breakfast until 11:30) We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was really good! The service was excellent. We're had to wait a few minutes to order lunch but it was well worth it. Kids for breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly. I had the amazing French Dip. I highly recommend it. The burgers were excellent, too.
It was awesome! I highly recommend the Hawaiian burger! Their service was also very nice. I would definitely come back!
We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this middle of no where restaurant. The rodeo burger and the Elk burgers were fantastic. Very quality ingredients! The banana pie was very good. My wife didn't like the blueberry pie all that much. This place was a 100x better than the buffet restaurant 4 miles closer to Bryce Canyon. I highly recommended you drive the extra 10 minutes and eat here!
Great service and surprisingly delicious food especially considering the remote location. Got a side salad — it was fresh and hit the spot — and the turkey melt which was fabulous. Don't miss out on one of their 11 kinds of homemade pie!
I highly recommend this place. We just had lunch there today. It was a great experience. The place is very authentic. You will feel like travelling back in time as the owners are keeping all the old pictures and objects from the cowboys good old times. The staff is absolutely lovely. The food is delicious and almost everything is homemade (especially the meat and the pies). The price is very reasonable for such an experience.
We went there 2 nights in a row, both nights the service was great. The food was cooked very well, I had the New York strip and the chicken fried Chicken, both were cooked perfect. The shrimp were also cooked perfect to. The soup was good, the bread was good, the pie was great. We came back here after eating other places for breakfast and lunch because the food is so much better here than anywhere around and there prices were better too.
We came around 4:45pm, so there was no line. When we left around 6pm, the line was out the door! Food was good. We liked the regular fries better than the sweet potato fries. Burger meat and chicken burger meat was really nice. Trout was good, but over-priced. There were fun books to read at each table. The employees did not make any conversation with us, and I found that they talked to each other more than to customers. : /
Local and authentic food. So good. The elk burgers are amazing. Service is kind and food comes out fast. The pies are to die for!
Local. Authentic. Friendly. Tasty. Value. My post hike dinner here was the perfect end to the day. The elk burger was spot on, the beer was well selected and the service was spot on. We left with warm full bellies and smiles all around!
Very good soup, very well seasoned steak, excellent pie. In short a great address. Attention the portions are (very) generous. One dish for two is enough.
Good food, long wait. We stopped by for dinner on a Thursday night and it was packed. We waited 20 minutes for a table. The menu had a nice variety of items including wings, soup, steak, fried chicken, shrimp, rainbow trout, salads, hamburger, sandwiches, fish and chips, cream pies and fruit pies.
We were happy to find a restaurant outside Bryce Canyon still open in the off season. It surpassed our expectations! It's been owned by the same family for 70 years and is still family run. My husband got the T-bone and I got the rainbow trout. Both were delicious! Before that there was fresh baked bread straight from the oven. But the best part was the pie! We were lucky enough to be there when pumpkin pie was on the menu, and it was to die for. Kaden was an excellent server. We will return!
This place is really overrated but probably one of the better options in the area because there are not many restaurants here. It's really crowded with a long wait at dinner time. Service was too slow. Portions are big and the burgers were good but too dry. The meat was overdone. The guy on the table next to us was really unsatisfied with his tenderloin steak. He claimed that it was a lot of fat on it. They prepared another one which didn't seem to be better. Pie was good.
This place is really overrated but probably one of the better options in the area because there are not many restaurants here. It's really crowded with a long wait at dinner time. Had lunch here. The decor is rustic western and very nice. The prices were reasonable. I got the elk burger with fries and it was very good. The fries were great! The lunch menu was soup, salad, sandwiches, and burgers. No steak or fish on the lunch menu : (I got the lemon pie but didn't really care for it. To me the meringue seemed to be a quickie mix which is fine but not at $4.50 a slice. Someone else in our group got the blueberry and loved it so try that. I do recommend this place.
This place has excellent pie of all kinds. Good soup also. Casual atmosphere, brewery beers. Service was a little slow.
Wife and I had a good time here, even with a 15-20 minute wait to be seated. The staff was very friendly and the Elk Burger was faaaantastic. We got pie to go, which was great as well. There are few good restaurants near BC, and this is one of them. Highly recommended!
Love The Pines restaurant. We were here 2 years ago and loved this restaurant then and it is still great. And the pie is fabulous. The Lemon Cream is great for sure. The entire staff from wait staff to cooks. They all make you feel special. This time we are staying at this family friendly cozy motel also. I can't name a favorite from the menu as all our meals have been wonderful.
A "MUST" eatery to visit. Order the HOMEMADE PIE FIRST, BLUEBERRY runs out fast! The Coconut is second choice! We ate dinner there and the food was awesome! Try the Trout,, and a return visit the next day for lunch. BEST place to eat! Service was great and very friendly staff.
We have been seasonal locals in Bryce for several years. When we dine out, we choose The Pines. Always a satisfying meal! Service is excellent, staff is friendly, soup and pies are the BEST! As shuttle drivers in the park, we always highly recommend The Pines. We have growing, hungry teenage boys and they beg for us to take them there. For drinks, our boys enjoy the bottomless flavored lemonade. Make time to stop in, even if just for pie. You can take it to-go.
With all those Black Angus farms on the way to Bryce, the meat could not be up to expectations. And in this place they can do to perfection: perfect cooking, right flavor and excellent presentation.
If then at the tables they also sit the Cowboys of the area, with so much of Spurs in the boots, something will want to say.
Fantastic hot bread that is served at every table to break the wait of the meat.
We were glad to find a comfortable bed and clean room at a reasonable price in the area. We were just there for the night and checked-in as walk-in, left the following morning to continue with our Bryce Canyon tour. I am impressed with the soft and clean towels (white as new). The restaurant is superb! We enjoyed the food and the service was great. I will definitely stay here again if will need to be in the area again. I would have rated 5* but because of our room location which was the farthest from the front desk including the pool.
Very nice. Real Motel, room clean, Wi-Fi good. Restaurant crowded in the evenings, hard to reach Alternatives only by car. Breakfast in the Restaurant, again without times, very nice service and a good card with fair prices wait. Super starting point for a Bryce Canyon trip the next day. Has been a good experience.
In the past it was great. This time the elk burger was dried out to the point I should've sent it back. Our pie wasn't that good either. I might try the place up the street next time. I will come back, maybe it was a bad day.
We were thoroughly impressed by this Restaurant. Even if we had to wait 30 minutes for a free space, because in the high season, a large crowd here, so it was worth it nonetheless! The family Restaurant is simply decorated, but the ambience is very nice and cozy. Well, the cold metal chairs could be exchanged for my taste against wood chairs… We were fast and extremely friendly service. The food was very tasty. We chose all the cheapest Steak ($16), which is already quite cheap for a Steak. The price included, but even two side dishes of your choice. So the price-performance ratio was absolutely. The Steak weighed in at 8 oz, it was a little flat, but lean and tender. The side dishes I need to mention praise because they were excellent. Especially the fries were the big hit! So tasty fries has eaten my whole family. But also, the Coleslaw or the Baked Beans were great. For dessert, we indulged in a Lemon pie. The pieces are huge and rich thick for two people. Pies (cakes), and soups are made here itself and are the speciality of this restaurant. The soup cost only 2.75. —, but the cake 5, 50. —, what I found a bit expensive. So, overall, we were 100 percent satisfied and will surely go eat there again.
Very good food, very friendly staff, special requests were all taken into account and all for relatively cheap money!
I had a great Burger :)
Simple class, very friendly conditions, top food at reasonable prices, and nice atmosphere with a unique charm… Go on like this.
After a week long trip with my family across California and Nevada, we decided to stop by at Bryce Canyon on our way back to Salt Lake City. In the past we have ended up eating at one of the multiple Ruby's Inn properties or in the town of Tropic, but this time we decided to give Bryce Canyon Pines restaurant a try. I was well worth it! Service was great, food was reasonably priced and plentiful, desserts were fantastic and the whole experience was a welcome change from the past week of dining at a variety of establishments. I can definitively recommend this restaurant and we will certainly return the next time we visit Bryce Canyon.
The location of this motel, is pretty convenient to Bryce canyon. The restaurant has a terrific breakfast, but we were unable to try the pies everyone raved about. As far as the motel is concerned, it's about as basic as you can get, clean, but the Wi-Fi is horribly slow, and the bed was VERY uncomfortable. (Too lumpy and soft) The major problem we had, was the shower. The water wouldn't stay consistent for anything. It would go from hot, to ice cold, to scalding hot, to cool, to Luke warm, back to ice cold, and so on. I'm not sure we'd stay here again, but we'd possibly give it another try, if we couldn't book a room somewhere else.
I have to say this if my least enjoyable stay in the area. The beds are uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi is awful, and there are only two outlets in the whole room. I would not recommend this hotel when there are much better options within a few miles. The restaurant is quite good though. I'd give that a separate rating if I could.
Careful getting in here with rv, the people in the office give terrible directions thru the park and the trees aren't trimmed for anything larger than a pop up. Our brand new 5th wheel came out very scratched! Sad.
Did not stay overnight but visited family during their stay. Cottage style rooms were spacious and adorable, I highly recommend them if you are coming with family. The bed was one of the softest I'd ever felt in my life. Very close to a restaurant, with a chevron station right up the road. Pool has a hot tub, which is very warm even in cooler weather. Hotel is also very close to campgrounds, so you can get the outdoors experience without actually camping!
I was here for food three times, once for breakfast, twice for dinner. Service was always great, breakfast as well, coffee with free refills btw, you can even get a cup to go. For dinner one time I had a Burger with Fries, the other time the new York Steak with Fries and steamed vegetables. Kitchen seemed to have had some problems with the Fries both times. In case of the Burger a couple of them were still frozen, in case of the Steak all of them were. However, Service was great and they prepared an entirely new Steak plus sides since the original one had cooled off consideratly due to the frozen Fries. When everything was the way it was supposed to be it tasted very good. Price was fair, I found the ambience comfy and good Wi-Fi is included. Would recommend.
Was recommended by my good friend Robert from Bryce Museum and he was not kidding that this is a must go to spot. The food was very delicious and a very friendly environment. The pie is literally to die for. Unfortunately I live in Los Angeles otherwise I would go mainly to have some of their delicious pie. Thank you.
We went to ride ATVs down the street at the Wildlife place (which was great by the way) and the owners suggested that we go to the Pines, as it's the only good restaurant in town. I can't speak for the other restaurants, but the Pines was GREAT. We went there for lunch and liked it so much that we went back for dinner the next day! I got the elk burger and it was great, the staff was very friendly and the whole atmosphere of the place was great. If you're near Bryce and looking for somewhere to eat that isn't to touristy, GO HERE!
4 stars for food but only 2 for service. The restaurant seating and cleanup seemed to be handled by 2 overwhelmed teenage girls. Waited over 15 min to speak to a server. To be fair once we were on their radar we were well taken care of, but still too long a wait. Food was delicious of just barely worth the long wait.
Excellent food! Had the breakfast in the morning and repeated for dinner after visiting Bruce Canyon! Great and nice people, clean, pretty new and quality-quantity-price relation was good!
Had the Elk burger which was okay but clearly a frozen patty. I've had better Elk in the past. Their homemade boysenberry pie was served warm and was perfect end to a meal. A good location if you are with a group they had big tables and a large lobby area for waiting in extreme weather. Our server was very helpful too.
Awesome place to drop by for breakfast or brunch. I ordered a corned beef hash breakfast. It was delicious and totally worth the stop and visit on our way to Bryce.
Great place with a great price. It didn't look like it from the outside but the inside felt comfy and beds were great. Only thing is the tub… if u r a tall man the shower might not fit u and If u r claustrophobic it's a weird design. A plus to close to bryce. Thanks 4 the great stay!
Beautiful. Everyone should experience this place.
We saw this place as we were driving to Bryce Canyon. It was early, we stopped for breakfast and I would say one of the best breakfasts we have ever had (take a look at the pics). They were short a server that day and ours was running like crazy but there was no delay at all. Service and food was the best and there was a bonus. On their menu we noticed they had boxed lunches, we ordered two as we were going to be gone all day. They were great, fresh sandwiches, an apple, chips, pickles, cutlery, napkins, everything we needed. They were closed by the time we were heading back and next time we are stopping for the pie everyone talks about! Great great place! ☕️
Food was delicious and the pie was the best! Service could of been faster, but overall a good place to dine.
Loved it. We had breakfast here twice while in the area loved the food and friendly service.
Perfect. Nickel Burger, super friendly service. To do.
Very good motel near the canyon. A restaurant is naerby with a very good breakfast menu.
Great hot sandwiches and killer salads. Don't forget the pie! Great service as well.
Great restaurant with a wide variety of meals and cost. Don't leave without having pie.
Great little restaurant just a few miles from the park entrance. We had dinner on a freakishly cold late-April night (around 8:30pm). It was snowing outside but nice and warm inside, they have a gas-fueled stove in the main dining area. They have standard family-style american fare, nothing fancy. Prices are a little steep, but considering the location and lack of choices, not too bad. Most entrees were $15-$20, with some sandwiches/burgers in the $10 range. The highlight of their menu is the homemade soups and pies. We tried both soups and a sampling of pies and they were all delicious. They also have a decent selection of local and national beers, and they are sereved with an icy mug (nice touch). Service was good and relatively quick, though our waiter seemed a little over-worked (he forgot a few things). Overall, a pretty good meal, very cute place, and good service. Postives: Homemade soups (creamy tomato and vegetable beef were available the night we went) and pies (the chocolate cream and blueberry/banana cream were great) Negatives: A bit pricey for what you get, pretty bland (nothing exotic or spicy).
I am in bike and this motel save me of the cold. Nice et friendly. Thank you.
Friendly, family Lodge but relatively poor room — no light and quickly cooled at night. As far as clean and tidy.
Cleanliness ok, beds were tenuous. Very shaky and somewhat too short. In addition, we had a power box in the rooms which 24 h has rattled. The Motel/Hotel is located outside and is poorly signposted. We arrived around 17 o'clock — that was just on time, as the rooms a hair has been passed! Incredible.
30 minutes of expectations (full House), who were rewarded by a T-bone was breathtaking. The beer is excellent, a restaurant to visit if you are passing and the décor western is very friendly.
Great place to stay up in Bryce Canyon! Their campgrounds are awesome and have everything you and your friends and family will need to have a great experience. They have all the RV hook ups we needed and I can't say enough good about this great place.
I hated it! We stopped because the sign said homemade soups and pies. When we arrived, there was only one other table filled. We ordered soup, patty melt, mozzarella sticks and one piece of pie. The soup tasted like white flour gravy with something that was to be broccoli in it. BAD BAD the worst soup I've eaten in a long time. The patty melt was burnt and tasted it. It took forever to get the taste out of my mouth. The waitress didn't bring us our drinks or my pie, ignored us. When we did get her attention and we told her about our meal she huffed and went away. Other than a couple sips of the soup and not quite half of the sandwich eaten. She charged us for the soup and sandwich and didn't apologize for her lousy service or the worst meal I've eaten in a long time. Don't go there.
Great food, had a wait but once seated, service was fast. Open faced turkey and fish and chips were great. Would go again. Homemade choc pie.
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in November. We have a big truck and tried to go through the tunnel at Zion but the really rude ranger, Gary Olson, turned us away and said our truck wouldn't fit. So we had to turn around and go back and up through Cedar City and then into Bryce which took an additional 3 1/2 hours. The front desk staff stayed at the hotel until 11pm to make sure that we could check in and get settled. I LOVED our cottage. No, it was not fancy or a 5 star resort, which was totally fine. It had a full sized kitchen and a really cozy bed that was perfect after a long day of hiking or horseback riding. Which, by the way, I have to give kudos to the staff for allowing us to go on a guided trail with Steve in the Kodachrome Basin. Apparently November is the off season and everything including horse back rides is pretty much closed. Well. We went on a ride with Steve and it was A-MAZING! He was kind of stand-offish at first (honestly, how many people say they are "experienced" horsemen that have really only ridden a handful of times so I get why he was leery. ) Once he got to know us he opened up and told us all about the little rodeos they have here, that he was a team roper (so is my hubby) and that we were welcome to bring our own horses next year and we would go on rides that weren't offered to the "dudes. " We will DEFINITELY be back here.

While staying a couple days at Bryce Canyon, we ate at the Pines twice. The food was delicious! The staff were each very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. If you are in the area wanting a good local place to eat, stop here! We are sure glad we did.
