They have no respect for there employees, I recently got terminated & there excuses was because I have attitude & I get out late. I try to finish my job as fast as possible and I leave when I my coworkers leave & I’m if ever there later is because they want me to be. These managers Martha & Chasity did not let me go home reminding all of everyone I live pretty far, until they let me clock out. I even asked for part time and my request was denied. I never ever give attitude, but Martha is the type of manager to keep talking over you & I was trying to explain myself & she never gave me the chance two do so. All I said was okkay over and over because I hate arguing, I wasn’t raised like that. Chasity & Martha are the worst managers I’ve ever had just the rudest. I’ve have so many text messages where I tried to talk to Chasity and she never backed me up or tried to hear me out when I tried getting my job back. It’s like she didn’t care yet is the one to tell you when you get hired she gives chances & warnings, well I never got a write up before not even in this job. Straight termination, sucks because if both of these women would give me the chances I am An amazing coworker. The hotel lost a good one.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were moving three states away and they helped us get squared away with our belongings since we didn't want to leave some of our more valuable items that the movers didn't pack. We also were traveling with our cats and they were very accommodating with them. They also suggested a great place to eat! The room was on the 9th floor and was fairly well decorated. The bathroom felt very small and the water pressure left something to be desired. We were able to wash and relax which, while moving, was mostly what we needed. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Breakfast was awesom. There was something for everyone: turkey sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes etc. The room was not clean. Toilet needed bleach. The room was too small for 2 queen size beds, so they had 2 full size beds. There is no whirlepool outside in the pool area.

The hotel has a feel of a slightly older building but has the newest furniture and items inside of it. It is right on the north side of downtown and is easy to get in and out of. Overall the desk associates are very polite along with having a nice workout facility.

While the room itself was so-so, it was clean and sufficient. The price was good, and it was right downtown where I needed to be. There was good protein in the included breakfast, so I didn't have to go for breakfast elsewhere. I would stay here again if I needed to be downtown.

I am super impressed with the quality of customer service that has been provided here. Jeanette and Danny (I became familiar w their names) treated us like family and bent over backwards to make our stay feel like home. I definitely will ALWAYS want to come visit again!

Breakfast with my coworker was great, especially considering it was free. Staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was pretty clean for a group breakfast serving.

I would like to share my experience here, but first I would like to say my wife and I just left Chicago. We stayed in the Hyatt on the Magnificent mile. I’m here to say the 5 star hotel which was priced at $300 a night had more amenities, but other than that it was not as good as this Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is more modern, clean, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were the same size, but much less less in price. I really enjoyed my stay. Ryan checked us in, knew his job and was very informative. I Pierce.

Check in process was smooth. No noise complaints the past two times I have been here. Staff is always friendly!

The location is great as is the free parking, rooms are actually nice, but the bathrooms could be a bit updated (toilets and showers). Not a bad stay though, considering the hotel indigo a block over is significantly more (better also).

Good service and clean rooms. The breakfast has a lot of variety, only need to update the computers in the business center.

I arrived without a reservation, the front door was locked so there is a window with a microphone to talk, the lady ingnored us until a knocked on the window. The room was clean and comfortable but is on the side of highway 10 so we heard the cars from the highway all night.

The stay here was awful. We called in a reservation 5 hours out from the hotel while driving. The agent on the phone said it was all set. When we got there, there was no reservation and the clerk was hard to understand and kept giving all the wrong information about the pricing and the IHG discount. Floors 3 through 8 smelled awful and of course we were put on 8. The floor didn't have an ice machine or vending even though the signage clearly stated it should. Ice machines were only available on 3 floors and the vending machines were empty or didn't work on the floors they were actually on. We got locked out from the room shortly after putting or goods in the room because the door lock was broken and they had to get maintenance to come fix it and it still didn't work right so one of us had to stay in the room at all times to let the other in. The breakfast was seriously lacking and not kept up. They only have one luggage cart for the entire hotel and of course they couldn't find it when we checked in so we had to make several trips out to the very inadequate parking lot and up and down the elevators to get everything in. The front door key reader was not working either so we had to keep knocking on the glass of the door to get the clerk to let us in each time. This hotel was pure hell. Nothing like the Holiday Inn Express we had stayed in the day prior, which was actually a wonderful experience.

The whole experience was a mess! We called and spoke with a gentleman who said he would hold a room for us and quoted is a price that matched what the website said. When we showed up, we managed to get the last spot in the extremely small parking lot. Someone else was working the desk and told us there was no room being held and we would have to pay more. When we told them we were IHG members, they said that only gets us points, not member pricing. We finally got it straightened out and got into our very small room. We went back to the car to get our belongings, and despite the fact that it says we can use our key card to get in, we had to be buzzed in. The only problem is the woman left the desk. So we were left waiting in the cold for her to return to let us in. All this because she couldn't locate their ONLY luggage cart when we checked in. When I went for breakfast the next morning, the juices were all barely sputtering out juice, the pancake machine was out of batter, and all the hot food trays were empty. This was nearly an hour before the close of breakfast. Definitely not worth the $105 we spent to stay for 10 hours.

Very nice rooms, I really liked the bed very comfortable.

Pleasant surprise. Very economical for being downtown. Ample parking lot well lit. Fairly quiet even with interstate right next to it.

The room was very nice not too big not too small we stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good a lot of selection. The location is close almost in downtown El Paso very convenient if you're going to the theater or are going to be walking the town a little bit. Very nice service I don't remember the names of the particular staff that helped us but they were all very pleasant.

Poor customer service skills from Martha front desk lady. Dropped off with a bicycle and box from touring southern tier. Needed a credit card in person. No other option. I’m stuck with my bag and box. I ask to sit in lobby to figure a place to stay… she said no, and not even get to charge my phone. Unbelievable. So I left the premises to sit on sidewalk like a bum and my box. Thank you gardner hotel!

I like the location of this hotel because it's close to everything downtown but a little bit away. The breakfast is decent… beats have to leave to get something to eat. Checking in and out is a breeze. I stay here frequently.

Great staff. IHG keeps winning my service with every time I stay. I will come back next time in EP.

Very Nice HIE… a little road noise from I-10 but quiets down at night. The staff is excellent! Good food close by with in 5 minute walk. Will stay here again!

Very sweet. Water temperature in shower however would not stay a constant temperature. Also, our room was right next to highway which was unfortunate.

Wi-Fi blinky, was being upgraded. Coffee pot broke. Typical remodeling woes.

The desk attendant was seriously nice when we all checked in. Every staff member that I've come in contact with has been awesome and so very kind to us. And when we had a problem with a leak in our room, they sent someone right away to look at why that was happening. The beds have been super comfy, and the rooms just have a very nice and comfy look to them as well.

Had meetings there all day so never stayed in a room, but they lobby and staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

Good place to stay, was clean, fast, and right next to downtown. Dog friendly for a low fee. The only bad thing I have to say is there isn't any grass for dogs. I know it's a desert but a small piece would have made it a 5 star experience.

Service and room were awesome.

Room was clean and updated but the beds were terrible. The noise from the highway was also pretty loud. Check in was easy and breakfast was decent. I'd stay here again… but will need ear plugs and some sleeping pills.

Front Counter person was Terrible. She talked so low that you could not hear. All questions were "I Don't Know". Also the price Google showed was $87, but the price was really $135. Room was clean but a little old.

Rooms were nice and comfortable, very quiet. The breakfast had a nice selection of things to eat and were very delicious. It only lost a star because the parking was wonky.

Nice little hotel. It's within walking distance of some shops and restaurants. Every evening they had something to eat in the lobby, snack type food just to show their guests they cared. They even let our dog stay and she enjoyed it too :)

Visited the hotel during the neon desert season and even though it was flooded with people and cars, the guys in the front desk were very helpful and helped us find a parking spot nearby. The room was really cozy, clean and comfortable, I really liked it. The bed was huge. It even had a Keurig coffee machine. Overall, a really good and positive experience.

Room was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave in the room both functioned. Continental breakfast was normal but still good. Gotta have a cinnamon roll!

I had an event to attend so I reserved two rooms in advance. When I arrived only one room was ready — four people trying to get ready in one room was not fun. It was supposed to be 15 minutes, but turned into 45 min. Tried calling front desk, manager, and 800 number. The lady from the 800 hung up on me! The manager Maria Herrera was rude and never returned my calls. Marcos, the front desk guy, was alone and trying his very best to accommodate everyone. Some guy tried to fight us over parking in the parking lot — I guess because there is no parking. This is the worse managed Holiday Express I have ever stayed at. Will never stay there again. Ever!

Amazing service, amazing rooms, but my water did not become hotter than warm. So a hot shower is apparently out of the question.

I cannot express my gratitude to the staff, for helping me and family in the most difficult time. They made sure we were taken care of.

Your re-modeling is nice. However, In your rooms you invite guess to join in with conserving water. But your toilets are old. They don't use water consumption correctly. By installing the new handles that if pulled up for liquid waste only will only use a little amount of water or push down to flush for solid waste, this will save you a lot on your water consumption. Also the new very large shower heads at the top of the shower ceiling are nice if your not woman, not all women want to get their hair wet so can you please provide a cheap shower cap for us in ever bathroom. Thank you.

An average Holiday Inn the room was nice and breakfast was typical. I was able to get a reservation the day of which was nice.

I like the location, clean & comfortable remodeled rooms. Secure parking. From my arrival to departure, staff was Great & friendly. Thank You Ms McCrae. We always stay @ this location when in El Paso. See you soon!

There was no warm water for my shower. The internet was unbearably slow. While it wasn't filthy, I definitely wouldn't call it clean. Not worth the $119 I spent.
