5*s (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) I stayed at Pinn Road Inn & Suites for a week and will be staying here again for my next trip back. I was trying to stay on base as I normally do, but due to the COVID they're are restricting on allowing on base hotels for certain individuals. I was NOT one of those individuals and I was exhausted from driving nearly 26 hours. I wanted a room and I wanted it now. So, I started researching for hotels with great reviews. I came across Pinn Road Inn & Suites and decided to go check it out. I got there and was greeted by the owners (very nice and welcoming couple) and they had rooms and I was relieved when I got to my room. The room was incredibly clean. In fact, it was cleaner than some higher-class hotels.

We came down for my daughters Air Force Graduation, and we loved staying here. Very clean, spacious rooms, daily upkeep on the room; clean towels, made beds, trash dumped. We would surly come back and stay here again, it was nice and comfy! And the rates were outstanding! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed here Wednesday — Monday for our sons BMT Graduation. It is barley 10 minutes to the base gates. The rooms are not perfect cosmetically but are clean and affordable. We had a 2 room suite (a bed a TV in 1 room and 2 beds and a TV when you walk in, comfy mattresses and plenty pillows) with a full kitchen which allowed us to prepare a home cooked meal for our new Airman. The shower had immediate hot water and awesome water pressure. They came in and cleaned up and left us plenty of fresh towels everyday. They had a basic breakfast of cereals, assorted pastries and toast with coffee, milk and orange juice. And the staff was really friendly. I felt completely safe there as well. There are plenty of restaurants around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

I was so completely impressed with this hotel. Front desk personnel were always happy and willing to help. The room was clean and already cold when we got there. Daily room cleaning exceeded expectations and overall the property was really quiet. Right across the freeway from Lackland AFB and we didn't hear hardly any noise. Will definitely be staying here on any return visits to San Antonio.

I booked at Pinn Road Inn because other reviews raved about the cleanliness AND because the price was well below average. Our family stayed in two rooms for our son's graduation at Lackland AFB. We weren't interested in any frills, swimming pool, etc, as most of our time would be spent away from our rooms — — we basically just needed a place to sleep. I am so glad we stayed here! The staff was so friendly and inviting and the rooms were very clean as described. We never ate the continental breakfast, which looked small, but served the purpose — — for no other reason than we chose to eat a larger meal with our airman. :) Some reviews expressed concern over the neighborhood but we didn't see any issues at all. It's very close to Lackland and was quiet each night we were there. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

Despite the side of town it's on, super clean place to stay and very affordable. Near highway so access to go anywhere. Burrito shop right next door that's pretty good.

Have stayed at this motel many many nights. Always a pleasure! Until tonight, Don't know where the owners are but the temporary people have put my wife and I in a room that wasn't cleaned. Dirty floors with spilled something. Smells of smoke and urine! First sleepless night ever! Was told on arrival we need to leave our ID or $100. Deposit! Very dissatisfied! Pat and family need to hurry home. They are loosing business and stature.

Great staff. The rooms are very spacious and with nice size kitchen they also offer breakfast. Plus the price was great for 3 days.

Friendly staff, perfectly clean rooms, close by to anywhere you might want to go and a great value. Highly recommend for budget hotel!

Very clean, well stocked suite. The family that runs it are lovely and very accommodating! Just a few minutes to Lackland Airforce Base. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the experience there. They are very clean not fancy, but clean and very nice, helpful, and was exactly what we were looking for.

Owner/operators are genuinely good people, a great place to lay your head after a long day of walking the base. Rooms are small, but clean & the showers work well with plenty of room (&water pressure). Do yourself a favor and visit reception for coffee from the machine & say good morning. No bugs in my room with a covered mattress, and if you see a white cat hangin around do me a favor and get him a can of friskies from the party store right next door, he's super friendly :) Good luck!

I give the Pinn Inn & Suites 5 ⭐️s! We had a major bug issue at our other hotel so at 1am I called them and they had a room for us for the rest of our stay for BMT graduation. Very nice people! Family owned! The rooms are clean! It’s close to Lackland AFB!

The only place I'll stay at if I ever go to another BMT graduation. Very clean rooms, and friendly service. We asked about a late check out because son got an extra day of off base liberty and was given until 6 pm at a very reasonable rate. It's not a Marriott, but clean, comfy and we always felt safe… even walking to nearby store.

No I was not wrong about the RAZOR wire. In fact the mere fact that you would say pictures that were taken do not show razor wire… next time I go to San Antonio… in fact I will have someone go by and take pictures that SHOW the razor wire… where the chain link fence that has a lock on it was kicked in. Do NOT try to fool people into thinking it is safe. It is far from safe.

This is an excellent place. I felt very comfortable and welcome. Any and everything I asked for was done in a timely manner.

Great place to stay, affordable & very clean. The office staff was awesome and when we needed to add an extra day they took care of it no problem. They made my "stay here again" list.

This place has been our home for the last 5 days. Its a beautiful little place and the people have been nothing short of amazing… Thank you so much for making our trip and stay in San Antonio so much better!

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for my husbands BMT graduation. It was nice, clean, cheap, & super close to base. Neighborhood isn’t that nice, but that’s pretty much everywhere within a 10 minute drive of base. (It isn’t scary or loud)

Super friendly staff, very clean, alot of room. We love the kitchen that was in the room. I would strongly recommend for anyone attending AF BMT graduation. Very close to base.

It may not be the prettiest place at first glance however, this is our second time here and the place is clean, the amenities of a full kitchen are great, it is safe, quiet and close to the base. The beds are comfy, the TV is larger, Wi-Fi is fast! The owners have really done well with the up — keep. 4+ stars.

I have been traveling the world for 35 years and this was the cleanest most friendly affordable hotel I have ever stayed in. The building is old, but has been well kept up. It was very close to the base and the staff was great about helping us out with directions to all of our events. Getting down town was also very easy from this hotel. I would rather stay here again than some of the fancy hotels I have been to. We had a suite and it gave us the ability to relax and enjoy out time with our new Airman,. We recently stayed at the Pinn road inn. For the price it can’t be beat. It’s just a couple miles from Lackland Air Force base, owner is so friendly and will literally help you with any info you’re looking for. He even gave his business card to my elderly parents and told them if they got mixed up on the public bus, call him and he would make sure they got back. Rooms clean and recently remodeled. Small continental breakfast got us going in the morning. Well worth the modest price.

Loved our stay! We had one with a kitchen. The place is not fancy however it was very safe, very clean, extremely well maintained, well located for our trip.

Staying to see my nephew graduate from the Navy. Clean! Comfy beds and full size kitchen. Very nice staff.

The beds were firm, but that was perfect for me. The price was great, and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean. There was no hair conditioner, so bring your own if you need it.

Excellent hotel. It was nice to have a kitchen. It felt like an apartment very roomy. Wonderful staff and our room was very clean. I would highly recommend sraying here.

Very clean room. Checked in with no issues. Found the shower head not working and the manager had it dear with in 10 minutes. For the price and proximity to Lackland I couldn't be happier.

Pinn Road Inn & Suites is a nice, clean hotel with a kitchen and everything. The service is quick and fast, and cable is given for the TV as well as internet and nice, soft beds. The room is huge. And for that I give 5 stars.

Love this Motel! Very great price, room was very clean, comfy clean beds, fully furnished kitchen with a full sized refrigerator! No carpet in the room which I love… Seems cleaner! Also, room seemed to be recently remodeled. Small complementary breakfast was great!

We stayed here in May 2017. The room had a full kitchen and all. Seems like it is going to be a questionable neighborhood when you pull in but it's just fine, never one problem or any noise and we stayed 5 days. Less than 5 min to Luke gate at Lackland AF Base and so convenient. I would do it again for sure. The family in the office were so accommodating and kind. I was impressed with their customer service and that's a hard thing to find today.

I actually really enjoyed my stay, my room was very clean and well kept up. The bathroom was great, the breakfast was okay. I stayed in room 125 which has Two queens and a couch loved it. The only thing that was a bother was my last night there, there was a band or something playing in the place behind me they didn't stop till around 12. But other than that a great affordable place to stay. Also this is a great location if you are here for an graduation because the AFB is 6 mins from the hotel so excellent travel time.

This hotel was great. It was clean and in a safe area. The price is reasonable and the location is terrific. It was less than 15 minutes to Sea World. I would definitely stay there again. The people who run it are very nice and helpful also!

Room was good and clean, Price was fair for booking last minute. Most importantly, The staff was Amazing! They were the most caring that ive dealt with yet.

The room is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. And it's close to the Air Force Base for your Airmen Graduation.

Room is very nice and clean I liked the floors, you never know what's on carpets in others rooms. Ac was on and room was cind when we got in which is exactly what you want after a long hot summer day at six flags. The kitchenette was very nice. Can't complain about the accommodations for the price. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood isn't bad as some reviews complain I stayed in another room the night before and regretted it after starting at this hotel. Don't listen to the bad reviews. When we come back to san antonio will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are weirdly divided, beyond that it was a very enjoyable visit.

If you're looking for somewhere to sleep for a low price this place will do the job. The prices were affordable but for a reason. The offerings are minimal at best, don't expect much but a room here. Yet on the brightside it is gated and easy to watch your vehicle from the window, plus they have Wi-Fi. The rooms are quite small and have very blank walls. And just a bit creepy. Sanitation and condition was fine and besides these small things it's a good spot for a quick and cheap stay.

Everything was perfect, no complaints we stood here 5 days as our son graduated from Airforce BMT this weekend and it's not even 5 mins from base… we stood in a suite with a kitchen and were able to make a meal for our son during his pass. Patrick from the front desk also allowed us to use their bbq grill outside to bbq for our son as well… very clean nice staff, no regrets I totally recommend staying here and would definitely stay again :) … God Bless the staff for making our visit the Best, now back to Cali.

Even though our room was next to the highway, the concrete walls blocked routine traffic noise. Safe-feeling area. Our bathroom door was dirty. There is mold on the "emergency" drain in the bathroom sink. There was some type of brown "material" on the front door's interior and the adjacent wall as well. Don't drop anything behind the furniture or you'll see little silverfish but they don't bite or travel in your luggage or anything. However, the beds were very comfortable, the linens would be changed every day if you like. They are older but clean. Our room had a tile floor which was actually nice as there were no unpleasant odors that can occur with carpet. Refrigerator had freezer that could actually store 1/2 gallon of ice cream as well as ice trays, if you'd like. We were here for BMT and were given maps, etc. Staff was friendly. Light bulb was out, was changed immediately. Breakfast items are plain bagels with cream cheese/butter, toast/jelly, mini-muffins, coffee, milk, orange-flavored drink, and apples. Room really just needs a deep clean. Flat screen TV, easy to operate remote. Microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, ironing board & iron. Plenty of shampoo & lotion. Lots of towels, etc. We stayed at a "fancy" hotel and got 2 of each. Here we got 4 of each. VERY close to the base but no pool.

I booked a month in advance, one I arrived II was very disappointed, the pictures make this a e look nice. It's in a bad area, my kids were scared to get out of the car. Not handicapped friendly. However, Management was understanding and refunded my money for the weeks stay I payed for.
