Clean and the staffing was awesome 💯💯

We got there late at night with to teens a baby. No sheets on the bed, and switched rooms. Left a very expensive camera bag in the room and when we inquired about the bag after realizing we had left it nobody knew anything about it. Someone had a nice pay day as it was worth between 6-7 thousand.

We were placed here since the tragic loss of our home a my bestie Feb 8th. Allstate set us up here. Coulsnt jave chose a better place to reside in for no telling how long. They also are pet friendly. Thanks again Residence Inn for helping us feel like we have a home.

We have stayed at this hotel for 10 consecutive yrs! What keeps us coming back? The staff & the super clean accommodations. This hotel & the team that works there has never failed us. We have NEVER had a bad experience. Everyone is so kind, works hard & always greets you with a smile. The hotel is convenient & comfortable with modest accommodations. This is an awesome dog-friendly hotel. (And if you aren't a pet person, no worries. You would never know this is a dog-friendly hotel. Did I mention it is super clean? ) The free breakfast is perfect. The breakfast team is some of the hardest working people I have ever seen. Shout out to Wa'de & Haleigh who were on the front line in the breakfast area — keeping things cleaned up & replenished as well as those in the back that kept the food coming. I can't say enough about Loretta R. Who assisted with providing us the best location for our "side by side" rooms. And, thanks to Sarah L. For all she does. She cares about guests & has obviously passed along to her teammates the core value of caring. The team at this hotel will do their very best to meet your needs. Give them a chance; but keep in mind, you must manage your own expectations.

Love the fire place. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Great location for shopping.

Lost our daughters blanket and stuffed animal she has slept with the past 5 years since she was a baby and they couldn't find it and could care less about our daughters attachment… Who would throw away a child's blanket and animal that were clearly in the bed and loved. Very disappointing!

This is the best hotel I have stayed in at Charleston. The Customer Service is outstanding from the Managers, Associates and especially the evening Chef! This hotel is always hard to book a room because they are the best! It is truly a home away from home.

Very nice hotel was on there for a social event. Left really impressed on what I did experience. Did not see the rooms. There continental breakfast was better than most.

Everyone friendly. Property clean and quiet. Free breakfast that is about average. I would definitely stay here again. Was easy to jump on highway and get downtown.

Every nice and clean. Friendly staff. Stayed there because I missed my flight and it was the closest to the airport. They have a free shuttle which is nice, and surprisingly they had no issue taking me to the airport at 4am.

The manager was rude. His name is James. They told us a nights stay was $341.00 we reserved early. When we got there, they told us that we had to pay 150.00 with deposit and we will get back later but instead they took $390.00 off my card and still haven't given the rest back yet. The room is clean but they will cheat you out of your money. Pay attention to your fees and ask questions, better yet get it in writing before giving them your card. I only give an extra star because the room was clean.

The rooms are wonderful. There's free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast selection is amazing for it's buffet style. There's also a waffle maker.

Nice hotel with better rates that downtown Charleston. Breakfast was good and the location near the airport was convenient. Quick access to I 26 and I 526.

Great location and friendly staff! The suites are clean and there are many convenient amenities. The complimentary shuttle within a 3 mile radius is definitely a plus.

The airport is just down the street from the hotel, which was rrally handy. It isn't too far from attractions like the beach and downtown. We stayed for one night in a two bedroom suite. There was a terrible smell in the room when we got there. The room was moderately clean. The staff weren't particularly friendly but they weren't rude. All in all, it was an okay stay. The location was the best part about this hotel.

The room was spacious and well kept, the staff friendly, and breakfast great. The only small problem was that we're ended up with two double beds instead of the one king we booked.

I just stayed the night, but I'll surely be back! Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy bed. Nice hot shower w fluffy towels. Immaculately clean facility. Amazing breakfast. Thank you, I look forward to definitely staying here again.

These folks went out of their way to help me surprise my Sister in Law with flowers on her birthday in the room when we arrived on a Sunday. A decent location about 15 min away from downtown Charleston.

Very good hotel. Good breakfast. Short drive to historic Charleston. Easy highway access to visit Boone Hall.

All we can say is " WOW". We loved loved loved this hotel! The staff were probably the friendliest staff we have ever encountered and we have stayed at many many hotels. The outside fire was amazing and the shuttle to dinner cannot be topped! I would highly recommend and would give 10 stars if we could.! Thank you to everyone at this hotel. Hope to stay again, from Canadian tourists :)

I was on a business trip here. All charges were to be charged to the business trip. Well just the opposite happened. For 3 weeks I paid for my own room and incidentals. Went threw hell to get charges reversed.

Booked a double queen and got a king and pull out for 4 people. They never mentioned it on the check in and when we called to ask they said they gave our room away to some military group. The room in nice but not accommodating for us.

Small meeting space! Worked fine for our meeting of 15 or so people. Staff was very accommodating!

If your not on the top floor you hear every single step and bathroom break from above you. I arrived at 630pm and dirty dishes were outside my door. It’s time to check out and they are still outside my door. Check in was a nightmare and my TV didn’t work in living room when I arrived. The lady handling breakfast was more interested in watching TV than making sure the coffee was ready. I went down twice during breakfast and both times there was no coffee. Each time ppl had to ask if she could put out more. I love Residence Inm’s but I will make sure not to stay here again.

Best Experience. The front desk staff is the absolute best. Friendly, courteous. Rooms are clean. I cannot praise this place enough. We came in for a funeral, which meant emotions were high and they could not have been better. I absolutely LOVE this place.

This place is excellent. It's clean, hospitable, and close to Tanger outlet. Breakfast is cooked fresh and not dry frozen and heated up. I went down today late the ladies were cleaning up but let me get a plate of eggs and sausage.

The front desk staff were very very nice and helpful. The room was in good condition, but the front doors are very loud when they shut and you can hear pretty much anything going on in the hall (especially everyone else's doors). Breakfast was a bit of a mob. Even though we arrived for breakfast an hour before it closed, several items were empty and were not replenished.

This place is ideal for the budding traveler who would want to cook their own meals and live as though they were in their oen home. The residence inn provides rooms with an en suite bathroom with and shower combined; Living room with sofa and tv; a kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, fridge, coffee maker and dishwasher. In addition the room does come with a safe and some closet space. The rooms they offer are double and single rooms. Double rooms have two bedrooms with everything mentioned above with addition of a working gas operated fireplace. The single room has a single king size bed. Housekeeping are very nice and hospitable. They will clean your room once per day if yout not in your room or ask if theres anything you need or require. In my opinion. The rooms offered at the residence in is perfect for a small group of friends who can split the room cost and enjoy the area. The hotel, though they only provide a limited dinner service every other day in the week, breakfast is provinded every morning with some variety. The Hotel has a heated pool which is salted. Its strange but very enjoyable and a hottub. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to anywhere you desire on a first come first serve basis within 3 mile radius. Thats perfect to take you to the nearby walmart for food for your room. There is wheelchair accessible doors with are automatic at the push of a button. And parking for wheelchair users.

We had pets and the staff was awesome. We were Hurricane Irma evacuees and the hotel accommodations were exceptional under the circumstances. The complimentary breakfast was hot and tasty. Can not say enough good things about our stay. Thank you, Marriott!

We came up during Hurricane Irma along with everyone else in FL and the hotel was kind, responsive and positive the entire time. The hotel was at capacity while they were dealing with a tropical storm and did a great job and making sure everyone was cared for. Breakfast and service were great. Rooms were nice and perfect for our family plus our dog.

Great location. Hot Breakfast in the AM is great compared to extended stay which has maybe muffins and bars to go. Beds are soft with some firmness. 3 days a week they do events and offer complimentary food or desert in the hearth room. I would stay again. Yet to review their fitness room.

I stay here ALOT for work. The staff is excellent and extremely friendly. The rooms are great. The pool is really nice and they have evening socials a few days a week at no added cost that includes beverages for the 21 and ups. Look no further if you're trying to find a good place to stay! You won't regret it.

I was in the process of moving across town in the neighboring city of Goose Creek, and at the last minute I found out my house wouldn't be ready, so I had to scramble to find a hotel for three days. I chose this hotel for a few reasons… Proximity to eateries (plenty at Tanger Outlets nearby), I am a Marriott platinum member (so got a great rate with points/cash option at the last minute), pet friendliness, and the hot tub (knew I'd be sore from moving and the hot tub would feel great). Unfortunately, the hot tub heater was broken — and has been for a while… Which is why I'm giving a 4 star rating and not a 5. The staff was very professional and courteous, which was impressive given that they had a huge wedding party booked and breakfast hours were a mad house. The room was very well kept (studio with queen bed and pull out couch, full kitchenette, and fireplace). I stay in various Marriott properties all over the country and am never disappointed — and aside from the hot tub not working, this property is no exception. I recommend this place to travelers visiting Charleston and will rebook here again if I ever need a local hotel.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. Happy hours during the first half of the week are great. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken for our entire stay (8 days). Breakfast was provided each morning but could use a little variety.

Nice spacious hotel. Large recreational area, pool and basketball court. Breakfast was good, but not great. Essentially what one would expect for a free hotel breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Wifi in our room was a little spotty, but we're were at the end of the hall. Well equipment kitchenette.

The rooms and accommodations were great. Good standard Marriott breakfast, parking, super convenient from the airport and getting to anywhere in Charleston.

Fantastic, clean rooms! Comfy beds qnd great amenities. I had a great stay and a good night's sleep. Close to shopping around Center point and Tanger outlets. Close to the airport but I couldn't hear the jets. We had room to spare, and a good breakfast in the morning.

We stayed during Christmas and the service was awesome! The rooms were very clean and the front desk attendant was very helpful!

Staff was amazing. There's free shuttle service. Platinum member and it could be the best Marriott I've stayed at overall. The breakfast was the only thing that was a little lacking.

I recently stayed here with my husband and two children and absolutely loved it. The service was excellent from the front desk to housekeeping and shuttle service. The room was larger than I expected and included a kitchen complete with a full size refrigerator, a stove, a dishwasher, and a microwave. It had a living area with a pull-out couch and a TV along with a separate room with the king sized bed and bathroom. It was perfect for our family and very convenient to have everything necessary for the kids! The room was spotless, we were even surprised to learn that pets were allowed in the hotel due to how clean it was. We went to a Stingrays hockey game at the Coliseum and the shuttle gladly took us and picked us up promptly with just a phone call. It is very close to downtown Charleston, tanger outlets, the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center, and the airport. We would definitely stay here again!

For my wife's birthday we spent a week in Charleston. We spent 6 nights at the Residence Inn Charleston Airport. The hotel itself is pretty much like any other Residence Inn. The property was clean and modern. The highlight of our stay was the amazing treatment we received from Sarah Larson, the hotel's sales coordinator. A few days before we arrived she sent me a form email welcoming us to the hotel and asking me to let her know if we had any requests. I asked her if we could be upgraded to a two bedroom suite since there were two couples. She looked into it and informed me that she was unable to satisfy our request. When we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Sarah had arranged for us to receive the upgraded room. While waiting for our room to be ready we had a nice chat with her. Sarah also worked with us to ensure we had some food options during the hotel's social gatherings. It was an absolute joy to work with Sarah. We told her and her boss that she gave us the best customer service we've ever received at a hotel and any establishment for that matter. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Marriott has fallen off when it comes to customer service but Sarah has bucked that trend. I just hope she is still there the next time we visit Charleston.
