Great atmosphere, spacious and clean.

Motel was adequate. Breakfast options were less than desirable. Before they claim it’s because of COVID we have stayed at many during this time with excellent food.
I was told no one would enter my room until we left at check in. Imagine my surprise to find they had indeed been in my room while I was out at work.
Now, the front desk staff! Absolutely awful. Watch your credit card because they will attempt extra charges. They called them a mistake… sure.
Then, when I asked for my receipt I was told no because it was being sent to the company I work for as they paid the bill. Since need a copy of that to be paid this is not acceptable and have not had to argue for my receipt at any other motel.

My room key wouldn't work and they had to replace the whole scanner, it was going to be 15 mins so the front desk didn't want to hold us up so they opened the room right away so I could get what I needed and replaced the keys when I returned.

Very nice place on the inside, but unfortunately they have no cameras placed outside for their customers safety. I stayed there for 4 days, 4 nights and on my very first night there my truck (Ford F350 king ranch) was stolen out of the parking lot. My truck was parked on the side near the front, and someone came and took my truck without a trace. I knew for sure that they would have cameras and whoever stole the truck would be tracked down. But to my surprise there is none.

We were so impressed by this hotel 4 years ago, that it has been the only one we have used since. The rooms have always been very clean, we never have problems with having enough towels or linens for our family of 4. For the price, you can't beat it. I have never encountered a rude employee yet. I highly recommend this location.

Front desk folks are AMAZING. Michelle, Jocelyn, and I think Melissa all set the tone the first day for excellence.

Enjoyed my recent stay here. Love that it's close to the airport, shopping and restaurants. Didn't have a car the majority of my stay. Not really needed unless you are going downtown. There is a shuttle that will be take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Decent gym, free breakfast, shuttle, and clean/comfy rooms. Not much more is needed in my book.

Room needed a deep clean. There was mold in the shower. Wish there was an outdoor pool. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was friendly.

I stayed here the night before my boards. Very welcoming staff! My room was perfect. Very spacious and comfortable furniture. I slept like a rock and my room stayed true to the lower temp I set. You feel like its more of a studio than a hotel room. I went downstairs to grab a drink and snack while studying. Yes the bar is small (6 seats maybe plus some tables) and its directly to the left of check in area but it was just fine for me. They put out a pretty decent breakfast the next morning as well. Check out is noon which is awesome! The people working really made it a great quick visit. Friendly, happy, professional, knowledgable about the area. The decor is definitely more modern than other facilities, which I love.

The front desk staff was friendly. Lots of options for breakfast. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The only issue we had was that we requested adjoining rooms for our stay and were given rooms on two separate floors! We were as far apart as possible! We won't be coming back to this hotel when we visit Charleston in the future.

Nice clean hotel. Front desk is very friendly and the bar is amazing. The food is great and they have a shuttle that takes you back and forth to the tanger outlet and Wal-Mart!

Great hotel rooms are clean and big … room layout is really good … one of the best hotels that I stayed in.

Clean, comfortable room, great rate, good breakfast, great location next to airport. Since it's next to the airport though, there is some plane noise, but earplugs were provided in the room.

Great experience. Room was very clean. The hotel had updated decor. Nice selection for breakfast. Our family enjoyed the pool as well. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay in the Charleston area.

This is a cheap airport hotel for when you need to crash before or after a flight. Charleston is a very hip place with lots to do. You will be plenty busy in Charleston and this hotel. The hotel isn't the world's greatest, but it's definitely not a bad airport hotel.

Room, hotel in general, breakfast/kitchen area, pool—EVERYTHING WAS SUPER CLEAN! And hotel staff were very nice! Great hotel! Ice machine available and washer and dryers are available for $2 per load.

A good place to relax after having long series of flight, all amenities are super and reliable let it be either gym or swimming or relaxing in lobby, Wi-Fi connectivity is awesome and convenience of taking print of your documents is also available, when you talk about rooms that is also well equipped with plenty of wardrobe, good air conditioning system, complimentary coffee, water and staff are friendly which will make your stay comfortable relaxing and memorable.

Decent place (for the price) to stay, fairly quiet, friendly/helpful staff… no complaints.

Nice place, location could be better but it is what it is. Paid extra for an "upper room" in hopes of a view but hopes are made to be dashed. No view so save your money. The rooms and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was very good. The bar was a joke. If you just want a "beer" you're good but any kind of mixed drinks your out of luck and the ones they do offer keep in mind it is a desk clerk not a bartender that is making them.

Fantastic rooms, great breakfast and great workout room equipment. I would definitely stay at a Hyatt place again.

The staff here are incredible! From the day we arrived to the day we left we were treated not as guest, but family. This whole week has been awesome. The room were incredibly clean everyday, front female staff always curtious, supportive and there breafast was delicious. Will always remember our stay here. Highly recommended!

Contemporary style, clean and brisk yet welcoming. If you’re a member you can get a free drink and free water. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good choice. Lots of airport flight personnel.

Great stay and great hospitality. Happy hour at 5 too! It was great to see everyone smiling, mingling, and hanging in the evening. The free morning breakfast was great. So much more than I excited. Would stay here again if I go back to Charleston.

If you're looking for a place to stay while visiting Charleston, this is the place to go! Located super close to the airport, the outlets, and several other convenient stores, this hotel was the PERFECT place. The staff is friendly and my room was cleaned everyday as well as stocked with fresh towels, linens, shampoos, etc. The front desk is well staffed and helpful and the breakfast is to die for! There was always tons of food even on the busy weekends. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Vicki was super helpful and truly cares about the satisfaction of her guests!

Great room! Separate sitting area, refrigerator, 42 inch TV with Oodles of channels. Free breakfast with lots of hot and cold entrees. All the staff was friendly and helpful. One of my best hotel experiences ever.

Good as a relatively cheap option in Charleston that's close to the airport. Free breakfast and airport shuttle are definite benefits. Hotel room was spacious, though not luxurious. The location in North Charleston is anywhere America with nearby strip malls. But the hotel certainly won't break the bank like downtown locations.

Location is nicely a bit further (. 5 miles or so) from Tanger than other hotels which makes it less hectic. The room was great, clean. The bed was comfortable. I didn't notice any unnecessary noises from other guests or staff. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Sufficient and convenient parking. Overall a great stay.

Amazing Hyatt brand hotel and location. The most shopping and dining around a Hyatt that I had a chance to stay at in the Southeast. The staff is great and very accommodating. Shuttle services are available and the complimentary breakfast is a huge time and money saver.

Nice well appointed double queen suite with a pull put couch. Bathroom could be a little bigger. Hard to get in and close the door, very little clearance between toilet and edge of door. Indoor pool was fun for my kids and the hot breakfast options were delicious.

The BEST experience I have ever had with hotel staff! We had car troubles coming into the city and the hotel shuttle was a life saver! The staff was welcoming, accommodating, and always asked for updates when we saw them. They really cared about our comfort during our stay. I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars!

Added July 28, 2017… Kim at the front desk is Amazing! She greets every Customer with a smile, treats everyone with respect and truly cares about her job. Definitely an asset to this great hotel! Very nice staff, easy access with the airport shuttle, clean rooms, comfy beds with extra pillows. Great daily breakfast included in the price too. Wonderful place to stay!

Hotel was clean and staff was on point. Very helpful and courteous. We were in town for a wedding and they offered suggestions on places to eat, shop, tour, etc. The breakfast served was hot and hearty. You will enjoy your stay. Beds are comfy too. Showers are very generous in size. Overall an excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed this hotel. Room was ready and clean when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful during checkin. The room included a king bed and L-shaped couch with a separated bathroom and a small counter/fridge/coffee maker. Gym was a nice size, pool was small and over chlorinated (my only complaint). We stayed over a holiday weekend so breakfast was a bit of a mad house but the staff did their best to keep up and food was as expected. We would happily stay at this hotel again.

I loved my experience at the Hyatt! We stayed for our family reunion and everything that we asked for, we received from smiling face! The free breakfast bar was delicious, stayed open later than scheduled and was replinished expedentionally. The rooms and pool were kept clean. The staff even drove us anywhere we needed to go in the shuttle. I didn't have a single complaint! I'd recommend the Hyatt Place Charleston Airport & Convention Center to all my family & friends.

Hotel was easy to find and had good places nearby to eat. A few things to note… the pool was not heated even though the room was, pool also had algae on the sides, no microwaves in your room, and few available options for those with allergens (breakfast area). I'd stay again but wouldn't promote it.

My room was very clean and everything was perfect. I don't like the whole zero vending machines. Yes you just have to walk to the first floor and buy from the little small selection of stuff but just not fair or something.

Great, clean place! As well, you get 2 free drinks per person during happy hour, daily! However, if your intereated in rhe pool it was small and indoors.

We stayed one night. The kids loved the heated pool. But it was kinda dirty now that I think about it. The workers were not warm. The rooms are ok. Overall it felt like an expensive motel. The breakfast was insulting! It's as if they were trying to tell you to get out! The pancakes were hard as rocks from being nuked in the microwave. They used frozen packaged pancakes from Walmart or Sam's club or whatever and threw them in the microwave still in the bag! I watched them prepare it. It was horrendous. My kids played with them by bangging them on the table as a joke. The breakfast sandwich looked like fake processed food and tasted like cardboard. I feel like I've been poisoned. I feel like a practical joke was being played on me. This was the worst experience. We went down the street to the HILTON GARDENS and it was fantastic! A complete 180 and high end warm and inviting hotel for about the same price and the food was to die for!

We get to Charleston SC due to our son accident while on spring break. He ended up with a back surgery at MUSC. We stayed at Hyatt just for two nights. We wanted to stay longer but hotel was booked so we had to find other place to stay. Anyway hotel is nice and clean. The same thing with hotel room. Breakfast buffet with good selection. Good location, close to the airport and to Charleston downtown (just 15 min ride). We strongly recommend this hotel. If we come back to Charleston in the future Hyatt Place Charleston Airport/Convention Center is going to be our first choice.

There was a couple maintenence things (the shower head was spurting all over, and randomly the fridge would make a horrible, annoying noise), nothing that couldn't be easily fixed if they knew about it. The place was clean, and they came in every day for cleaning (stayed 5 nights). The breakfast was good and one night I even got two free drinks at the bar. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfrotable. They have a pool, work out room, and washers and dryers on each floor. All in all I would suggest this hotel. The only thing I wish they had in their room is a microwave. It also would have been great if they had a hot tub in the pool area.

It was really great and we had a good time there! The only thing wrong with it (it is really small) is that the pool is only 4 and a half feet deep. This is a small thing but overall great hotel.

My work made me stay here and at first I was bummed but once I walked in my room I found it to be on point. On top of that, the staff is awesome, the bar perks are great. I'm a Hyatt rewards guy now.

Loved the room and the staff (staff for the most part. ) Two irritations, both on a Sunday. Asked the front desk for a shuttle out to the airport to catch bus (Nash #4) that goes downtown. The hotel put us on a 10 am hotel shuttle to go to the bus stop. Bus doesn't run on Sunday until noon. Two hour wait. After spending the rest of Sunday shopping, walking and touring downtown, back at hotel I asked for a cold cocktail. Told sorry. Asked if I could have a beer. Sorry. I asked why. Told we chose not to sell alcohol on Sunday. So much for the 7 in their 24/7. Is this the policy of all Hyatt Places?

The staff are super and the reason I have no problem rating this hotel a 5. The outlet mall is down the street and the historic area of Charleston is less than a 15 minute drive for the shops and great restaurants. The Wi-Fi is good and enough cable channels to keep anyone entertained. The breakfast crew are great at keeping things stocked and clean. We will return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is super friendly. I was very very impressed with the breakfast staff. I watched them accommodate several request from other guest (some very particular request) with no hesitation and a smile. The location was excellent. It is between two highways, 526 and 26. It is around the corner from the outlet mall, Walmart, gas stations, and lots of food options. We were there for a weekend. Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. We were able to visit several beaches, malls, the harbor, eat, and more without more than a 20 minute drive to any place.

Traveled from central PA with my music department for the weekend. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my students and chaperones. The facilities are simply beautiful, and the rooms are clean, modern and spacious.

Definitely gets five stars. Stayed there last summer while my husband was in the hospital at MUSC. They treated me like a queen. The room was amazing, room service was excellent, the food was great, the front desk personnel were top-notch professionals. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I stayed here nine days on a business trip. The first three days, the stay was excellent. After the third day, it was AWFUL. The customer service in the evening was AWFUL. I called for room service, and the front desk person was just loud, rude, nasty, and disrespectful. He came to the room to bring what I needed, and continued to be rude, and disrespectful. I wouldn't want anyone to receive this type of service, and would never want anyone else to be treated the way I was. I never want to stay there again. I requested the rest of my trip be reserved at another hotel, and will make sure no other employees have to go through this. What a very upsetting, and awful experience. I noticed better service was given during the day when more people were around. The room was not clean, dirt was around the bottom of the shower.
