First I am not a person that is high class and picks out every flaw. With that being said if you are a construction worker this is a good place to stay. If you are a single female or mother/ daughter traveling this is not the place for you. The front desk clerk was great checking in. The first smell that hit me when entering the hotel was the smell of Marijuana, And yes it was as I am in Law Enforcement. Pretty much throughout the whole place! The beds are comfy and the furniture is updated. The water pressure is Great! The room was not cleaned properly, crumbs on the floor and sink area. Only one bath towel and no wash cloth. So had to ask for items. There is not breakfast except coffee, muffins and some granola bars. This was ok with me since I understand there are a lot of construction workers. No 24hr front desk clerk 7am-11pm. Front door to lobby does not close or lock so free access to common areas by anyone! Television is a dish and storms knock it out. Basic kitchen item available in room, but desk clerk was helpful and said if we needed anything to just ask. Coffee pots and other dishes available. It is rated a 2.5 star, but that is a stretch.

The ladies at the front desk are amazing! Especially the morning crew! They have always been extremely accommodating and helpful to me every time I stay. The whole staff are some of the most professional and polite hotel teams I have come across. What the hotel lacks in fancy decor, they more than make up for in top notch service. I stay in hotels as I'm in between apartments at the moment so I have more than my fair share of experience and knowledge on hotels, so believe me when I say give this hotel a chance. You won't be disappointed!

I had a all boys sleepover for my son, the rooms was very spacious big enough to accompany us. The staff was pleasant & very helpful & omg the location was so convenient in the heart of everything. I enjoyed my stay & plan to stay again in the future.

When we first arrived to the hotel we had already been in Charleston for most of the day, but check-in wasn't until 3 p. M. So we spent most of the day trying to kill time before we could come and check-in. We were tired from having to do two separate flights and trying to find ways to kill time. When we got to the hotel, there was no receptionist to be found. Not a big deal, as things happen, and we can stand to wait a minute. Another guest arrives needing assistance with something and there is still no receptionist to be found. There is also no way to contact one from the front desk. This other guest tried calling out and still nothing. Over 20 minutes later… someone finally shows up. She then apologized and stated that she is the only one here? The only one here to check people in, or what? That makes zero sense. So we checked in and got to our room. Now for $80 a night (what we paid) you can't expect too much, but the bathroom had some sort of growse mildewy/piss smell to it. The shower curtain is just growse… you can at least wash the thing every now and again. That's not asking much. I understand that you can expect things will be a bit more run down in a cheaper hotel, but how is sacrificing basic cleanliness relative to that? That's really not asking much. The least you can do is keep it clean! Disappointed. We have also been here for 5 days already and will be here for over 7. Absolutely no housekeeping has been done in that time.

Very homey and comfortable. They do provide kitchen utensils to cook but you have to get or request fast cause it goes fast (just like being home).

A friend of mine needed somewhere to stay so I reserved her a room here. I didn't at all expect what it turned out to be. The room was very spacious, clean and cozy. Staff was polite & other guest were quiet. I would definitely stay here for my self in the future.

Didnt have the best time when I stayed due to some guest above me. Good place to bring your pets. Manager is amazing.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay because they were booked. The front desk staff were amazing and hospitable. They even offered to call us if a room opens up. Very friendly and great customer service.

The staff was personable. The room was not fancy, but it was clean. It looks like it's featured on the website. The hallways smelled, and the room had a strong lemon scent, but we're only in the room to sleep and bathe. Overall, it was fine.

Nice hotel for the price, easy walking to stores, the ladys that works here like karen, are super nice I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The rooms were dirty, the cabinet doors were falling off. The service was awesome. The front desk associate was very nice. The location is great for business men/women flying in and out of Charleston Airport. The stay was ok overall.

You get what you pay for. Paying less than $100 for basically what you could call a mini-suite was the only great part. Lost 3 stars because everything, besides the room itself, was much less than desirable. I will stay at a different hotel if I ever return to the Charleston area. To start off, I had to wait 25 minutes for the front desk attendant to show up when I arrived to check in at about 6:00 PM. I never saw an attendant at the front desk again until I sat and waited 10 minutes when I wanted to check out. Every time I went past the ront desk, there was someone waiting there. The sign they put on the front counter says to dial 0000 on the courtesy phone, but there was no courtesy phone in the lobby. I stopped for gas about 20 minutes up the road and made my reservation on my phone through a popular online hotel search website. Because of my reservation, I was obligated to pay for at least my first night. That was lucky for them beause I and the other person who came in right after me would have left and stayed somewhere else that at least appeared to want our business. I never could get the Wi-Fi to work. On check in, the sweaty front desk lady stuggled to get my info right, even though it all should have been there to copy and paste from my reservation. Fortunately I could survive without it. It is a "non-smoking" hotel, but people smoke right outside the front door and all around the parking lot. I got plenty of second hand smoking in during my stay.

The staff was great. It's an Extended Stay, so it is what it is. My only complaint would be the shower, but the value for everything else outweighs that and makes it five stars.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. What you need is what they get. They definitely aim to please.

Nice rooms, hotel hallways smell of weed though. Might just be a weird smell that's smells the same but fyi.

First off, the customer service call centers are horrible. I first spoke with a really nice women named Jamie who was extremely nice and helpful. She signed me up for the extendedperks and even informed me about a coupon on their reward system that would give me a discounted rate. However, I had to sign in first and call back to get the discount added. So I attempted to do so but the coupon would not work saying I wasn't a member. No one that I called could rectify the issue and instead kept hanging up on me when I asked to talk to their superiors. Eventually I dropped the whole issue and drove to the hotel. Once I got their I could smell weed immediately. I got up the rooms and they weren't the worse thing in the world. But as I got settled in I flipped the pillows over and plain as day was some sort of tick on the pillow. Immediately went downstairs and got a refund and left.

I love this little hotel it's a home away from home.

Do not stay here I repeat do not stay here. Probably the worst extended stay I've ever been in. Notice I didn't say stayed in cuz I didn't make it that far. After taking a shower and a towel rack falling, not a big deal. I open the cabinet under the sink to throw something away. To find a dirty towel with who knows what all over. Then I start looking around the microwave was dirty, stuff behind the dressers. If you don't clean up the rest of the room, what makes me think you're going to clean the beds properly. I've stayed at other Extended Stays for months at a time with great experiences. But this was by far the worst Extended Stay. No dishes in the cabinets, but has a stove microwave and fridge¿ if you're looking for a party Hotel or girls on Backpage this is the spot for you.

I loved south Carolina. This was one of my favorite places. Clean, and always friendly people.

It's clean enough with no frills. The mattresses are thin, but there's a kitchen and a pool. It's a little loud, but that's okay since it takes the pressure off of parents to keep small children quiet. I would stay there again.

The late night front desk staff was friendly, but didn't seem to know what she was doing. The room was clean, but pretty outdated. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Good price, decent stay.

This place was a big disappointment, especially for $130.00 a night. Motel 6 would have been a much better choice. No maid service unless you stay for a week. A full kitchen with zero cutlery, pots, pans, dishes etc… No one was ever at the front desk. Coffee in lobby was always empty. No coffee pot or hair dryer in the room. Funky smell in the hallways. Big stain on the carpet that appeared to be black grease. Will never stay at one of these places again.

I've gotten more value at economy hotels (Super 8). I chose this hotel because I was traveling with family, I thought we could use the kitchen to prepare basic meals and save money vs going out to eat, that could not have been a more incorrect assumption. There were no pots, pans, plates, or utensils of any kind in the room. We went to the desk to get some and were told they did not have any more. Virtually every touch surface in the kitchen felt greasy and disgusting. The "breakfast" consisted of granola bars, packaged muffins, and instant oatmeal; there was coffee but only if you got there before it ran out (contrast that with economy hotels that sometimes have coffee on all day). There were no tiny bottles of shampoo (unfortunate when you forgot to bring your own). The carpet had stains. The room looks like it hasn't been updated in 10yrs and the appliances in 30yrs. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at and wish I would have went with an economy hotel so I could have saved a little money and had a better stay.

Actually, the intent was not to mark ANY stars for review. The room was not cleaned. The carpet had not been cleaned, the kitchen floor still had food particles from the last guest. The side of the refrigerator was awful. There was not a roll of tissue in the bathroom and the clerk at the front desk informed us that the hotel did not have anymore tissue and that is why they put the box of Kleenex in the bathroom. And the best part is when she (clerk) was informed about how the carpet had not obviously been vacuumed, she offered us a vacuum. We immediately demanded a refund and went elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Management and staff were polite and accommodating rooms were clean and comfortable however could use a updating kitchen equipment provided upon request overall my stay was comfortable.

Great location right off the freeway. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pets are welcome at this location, as you will see people walking them all times of the day. Other than that good stay.

The hotel (including my room) smells like a combination of a wet gym sock and stale cigarettes despite the fact that they're non-smoking rooms. The neighborhood is horrible as well. I will not stay in another Extended Stay again.

The location was great, as was the service. The rooms were ok, but the price made up for it. I would stay there again for sure.

I love this place! They have the best rates that go great with there rooms! It's like a home away from home! Katie that works at the North Charleston, Northwoods Blvd location is the most friendliest person and always has a welcoming smile on her face! I would stay here forever! The staff is amazing!

I lived here in business trip during 1.5 month, this is the worst place I ever lived for this money. The service and hotel's stuff is good for motel 6 for 30$ per night but not ESA. The surrounding area is looks like ghetto, there are no police but every week I could see in window how they squeeze and twist someone. This is very noisy place, the airport, railway and nearest highway gives you very specific noisy. When I entered in room number first time the flooring was gluey, like scotch tape. The furniture was in the same condition, and some of the stuff was broken. The shower in the bathroom broken, then one time in the morning I waked up and found cockroach on the oven, see photos. You ask me, why I lived here 1.5 month? well, my employer pays for a hotel.
