Horrible hotel. Staff was rude. Breakfast was horrible. Service was non existent. Booked for three nights. Job was cut short and only stayed two nights. The hotel charged me for all three nights. Left a message at corporate and sent email to customer service and not one response. I will never stay at any of their hotels again.

Had a horrible experience! The room was fine, comfortable and clean. But the breakfast was inedible. All of the bread products were old and hard, the “fresh fruit medley” was slimy and smelled like it was fermenting, the omelettes were still frozen in the middle, and the coffee was ice cold. But the worst part was the AWFUL girl that works the desk during the day. We heard her on her cell phone swearing away while making jokes about one of the guests in their swim suit. Then the next morning, when we were checking out, I realized we were over charged ($38) for the second night — — when I tried to talk to her about it, she just rolled her eyes and was very rude and accused me of lying, again and again! I asked her to contact a manager and she refused and just tossed a business card at me. My daughter was with me, so I just left and tried calling and emailing multiple times and got no response! Nothing from management at all. We have stayed at this chain many times, in many different states, this was the only time we have been disappointed…

Had a nice stay here. Great for kids — had pool for big kids and kiddie play area for small children. Hot tub was out of order. Many guests left because of that, we had pool area to ourselves. No bathroom fan. Staff not overly friendly.

Bed was horribly uncomfortable the room was very dry. We chose the specific hotel because they have a pool children's area and hot tub. When we got there there was a sign that said the spa was not to temperature. I do want to add, the staff has been very kind. The rooms are well kept and big.

Very clean, family friendly hotel.

We came here last minute when camping fell through. We thought having a fun pool would make up for that. It was fun but were a little disappointed to see the slide was gone, contrary to the advertised pictures. Other than that our stay was good for the short time we were there.

Excellent Hotel with great staff! Have stayed here several times, always a great experience. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was well decorated & bed extremely comfortable with lots of extra pillows. Best stay at a hotel in a very long time. From management all the way to the front desk and cleaning crew very accommodating and professional.

Very nice, quiet location. Close to restaurants and highway without being in a noisy area. Rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast was hot and had a good variety.

I have stayed there twice. I was traveling to Epic for work. Everyone there was so nice. Breakfast was good. My shuttle is drivers were so sweet. They took me to and from airport/Epic/ and dinner. I truly enjoyed my stay there. Also, it is nice to walk across to ten pins for dinner and a drink.

The staff is very friendly and try to perfectly accommodate guests needs. Room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if attending Epic and the hotel shuttle service is very convenient. There are good places to eat at walking distance and the hotel shuttles are also available for dinner at farther distances.

The staff were very friendly and helpful during our weekend stay. The breakfast offerings are one of the best I've seen for continental breakfasts. Our kids loved the pool and the suites were so clean and perfect for our needs! Would definately recommend to friends & family.

Nice size room, comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff, various items for breakfast to choose from. Short walking distance to Target and other shops.

Great customer service, very welcoming and friendly. Hotel room itself was clean and I had no issues with the room whatsoever. I didn't use the pool area, but it looked fun for small children, had a waterfall like tower and a mini lazy river type set up. Workout room had 2 treadmills and a recumbant bike with some yoga mats, a bench, and some free weights up to around 40 or 50 lbs. Would stay here again.

The stay was good. Got relocated because the hotel had a pipe burst above me. So I got relocated after 1 night. They comped my company for the inconvenience :/

Manager was rude. Their employee booked the room outside of their block of rooms and gave us a run around about using our company tax exemption could not be used for special conferences. The whole thing didn't make sense. They honored it but said next time they wouldn't. Needless to say, I will be telling my admin assistants to take them off our perferred list of Madison hotels. Otherwise the hotel was clean and nice.

The front desk staff was very helpful trying to adjust my dates. They were eager to help me have a great experience!

Booked this hotel through expedia. Had to cancel, and thought I completed the cancellation online, but it didn't go through. Hotel booked me for the entire stay instead of one night. Called to remedy the situation and stay the next weekend there. They refused to refund any money saying I had to work with Expedia. Expedia said the hotel charged my card directly and called the hotel to remedy the situation. Again management refused. Luckily, Expedia was the bigger person and refunded me more than half of the money and apologized on behalf of the hotel. I will NEVER stay at Country Inn and Suites again, and we have many basketball tournaments in Madison over the next five years with our son. As a team parent who helps book hotels for the team, we will go elsewhere.

There continental breakfast was smaller but so good and really hit the mark on choices for being small. The room was nice even though they were going through a renovation. Staff was happy to help with anything we needed.

Overall, was very pleased with our stay here. Initially had a little difficulty upgrading my reservation over the phone, supposedly since I made my reservation online (even though it was on the hotel's site and not a third-party), but eventually was able to. The hotel was in a convenient location for our needs and was easy to get to, but they could use signage on the road indicating where to turn in. The room (one-bedroom suite) was spacious and clean. Our kids had a great time in the pool, which seemed well-maintained. No problems with service while there. Would definitely book here again if back in the area.

This was a lovely experience. We had a very clean, spacious room, and a comfy bed. The pool/spa was large, beautiful, and family friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was great.

Quiet, clean, and the staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious and feel reasonably updated. There didn't seem to be a ton to do in the immediate area, but we were just passing through anyways.

Good room, but front desk staff is extremely hard to understand and has trouble with english. No other issues. Great hotel and service.

Nice hotel, my company has been utilizing this facility for numerous of years. Staff is always engaging and helpful no matter the time of check in.

The accommodations look a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and workers are more than friendly. Workout room, nice pool, and shuttles… I recommend it.

It used to be really nice but it's run down now. Needs some TLC for sure! The workers are very nice, though. The breakfast buffet is good too. I like the little snack bags they pack.

Dont stay here if your a business man and want to sleep! I I travel for a livng, and have stayed at hundreds of hotels, by far worst stay ever! was told I would have a nice quiet stay and that is the opposite of what happened. The front desk placed families with children all around me, screaming kids and dirty diapers in the hall. My bathroom sink was clogged and unable to use also ive been a club carlson member for years and asked for late check and they refused to accommodate,

Excellent cleaning staff; spotless room. Breakfast staff does a very good job. Night time front desk staff courteous and responsive. Let me preface by say that we booked this specific hotel because they had an indoor pool and our grandchildren were staying with us. The pool seemed a little cool on 11/21, but we like a cool pool and warmed up in the hot tub after swimming. But, starting the next day the pool was COLD. There was a thermometer in the pool and for the next two days it registered 68 degrees. I notified the front desk day staff the first day so was surprised to see it that cold the second day. We were not able to swim in pool water that cold. I brought the thermometer to the night desk and asked them to please notify management. There were two other families that second night who wanted to swim, but like us were stuck using the hot tub with their kids. Later that night the desk clerk told me that they had someone working on the pool situation. One of the other families, who had also contacted the front desk, told me that they were told the pool heater was broken. So, on Day of a now 62 degree pool I called and asked to speak to management. I got Carol (who did not give me the courtesy of telling me another manager was on the speaker phone with another manager). I simply asked for an estimate as to when the pool would be fixed. She informed me the pool was fine and they had checked frequently and the temperature was correct.

Had a good sitting space separate from the bedroom (king bedroom). The bedroom had its own door which helped keep the bedroom quieter. There was a lot of little lights around the room that I tried to cover in order to sleep. Has a pool with basketball hoops, a large hot tub and a splashpad playground for kids. Edit: Our second night we came back to the hotel and found out that our keys no longer worked. My wife was trying to get my sleep 1 year old to bed well I parked the car in the back in the cold rain only to find out I couldn't get into the hotel back or side door with the key. Later that night we tried to get in the back door with the new key they made and it still didn't work. The woman working at the desk was just annoyed with us and not really interested in the problems.
