We got a room with the Jacuzzi. It was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay, super clean, comfy bed and lots of space. Well the sofa bed was uncomfortable as a sofa and I would hate to be the person sleeping on it. But we didn't use it. Breakfast was great. Late check out was only 11. 30 bummer. But worked for us and there is a shuttle to the airport.

The check in process was smooth and didn't take long. However, this hotel was nowhere near meeting expectations when it comes to cleanliness. There were disgusting white stains on the couch, a used bar of soap still in the shower, and what appeared to be blood stains on the bed linens. In addition to this, the pool heater was broken (not a problem) but the pool was still open for swimming. We went swimming and while we were swimming, we noticed a large hairball at the bottom of the pool along with a clear plastic drinking cup. This place was disgusting! It makes me sad to say this because I have stayed at some really nice Best Western hotels but I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone! I wish I had spent the money elsewhere.

This was a nice modern hotel. It had everything to accomadate the family at a good price! The breakfast was decent. The pool was a decent size. The only problem there was the heater was broke. Also close to some decent museums. Overall decent!

We booked through Best Western on line. We were told that parking and shuttle service to cruise terminal was free if we stayed with them. They lied Best Western Plus wanted $30 per person round trip and $35 to leave our vehicle in their parking lot. 4 people plus the car was $155 for the week. The parking at the cruise terminal was only $100. Don't trust Best Western Plus booking agents.

Sorry to say this, but my daughter and I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel recently, and had to leave after only 2 days, because we found bed bugs in our room. The management was nice, though, and canceled our third night reservation and gave us 1 night free. The staff was wonderful, but I would never stay here again, due to the bed bug situation. It creeped us out!

Staff are exceptionally helpful. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy during your stay. Only complaint I have is that the sheets were very hard and scratchy so, if you have sensitive skin, you might factor this into your decision. I would definitely stay again due to the staff. Also, the convenient location to airport is a huge plus.

I highly recommend this facility. The rooms are roomy and clean. The staff, both behind the desk and those who clean the rooms are friendly and helpful. I've stayed at this location twice and will stay here again whenever I'm in town.

We stayed at this hotel because of the convenience to the Charleston port. We stayed 2 night at this hotel. The first night we stayed was wonderful. The second night was New Years Eve and the room below us was party central which lasted till 5 am. We complained several times along with several other people. Nothing was done to quiet the noise because it was New Years Eve. There seems to be no concern about customer complaints. We have contacted Best Western Customer Care and the hotel again with no resolution.

The rooms are very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful, we checked in early with no problems. It has extra bathrooms in case yours is being used by family. The free breakfast is nice and not overly complex, they offer coffee 24hrs which is a relief for those early flight takers. We had a problem with our refrigerator and they swapped rooms for us hassle free. I would definatly stay here again.

Stayed here for the night, was very disappointed. The shower in my room was disgusting. The shower head had not been cleaned for months, there was a used bar of soap with pubic hair on it. There was a stench in the room. Also, checking out was horrible. No one was at the front desk at 8am and needed to catch a flight. Other tenants were having a party and I called front desk to help. No one answered so, I handled it myself. Overall it was pretty disappointing

I really enjoyed the fact that this hotel was one of the only in the area that A. Served breakfast B. Takes animals so our fur babies could join us for Thanksgiving and C. Had an indoor pool. The breakfast was good and they offered lots of selections along with a waffle maker! The room was clean. The only reason I did not assign this one 5 stars is only because my husband requested towels while my son and I were in the pool and told me he overheard the desk manager repeat this to the maintenance people so he came back to the pool. An hour later no towels, so rather than be "pains" my husband had to go upstairs to grab them from our room… (he wouldn't go swimming in case this happened) and my son and I were unable to shower after due to lack of towels. Minor inconvenience however it was our last day so no shower before the trip home.

This Best Western definitely put the BEST in it's name. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious, lobby area was very inviting and overall an excellent stay. The only draw back is that it's noisy due to the highway being so close.

The entire place had a horrible chemical odor. Thankfully the windows opened so we managed tho stay the night since it was a holiday weekend and most places were sold out. Wasn't so sure that was a good thing when we saw a roach in the morning. Worst best western experience ever.

Room was dirty. Bathtub had hairs, a lot of them and so did the sheets on the bed. The sheets had obviously not been changed as the looked like someone had just gotten out of the bed from a long fitful sleep. They did not correct the problem after it was brought to their attention and we were assured it would be taken care of. I told 2 separate desk clerks. Very disappointed. Will not stay at a Best Western ever again. Have to give a one star only so that the review will post or I will give zero stars.

This hotel is fine in appearance. My favorite rooms are the ones on the 4th floor with the jacuzzi built in. Tasha (general manager) was very instrumental in helping meet my needs her and her staff always go absolve and beyond for their customers to ensure we have an exhilarating hotel experience.

The 1st time I stayed it's great but the 2nd 3day stay was really bad it took 3 rooms and a very rude manager I'm mean I felt bullied it was bad but I will say the rest of the staff was nice one even apologized to me because they heard the way I was treated. We come to area twice a month for classes we will not stay here again and it's sad because it could be a great place with some empathy training.

Beautiful hotel the check in clerk was great however the bathroom made noise ALL night and I couldn't get any sleep and couldn't change rooms bc they were full. Asked for a late checkout and couldn't get that either. Checked out and bill was not correct as I was charged more than I should. I will return to my Normal hotel

We found this hotel at 1am while staying in another crappy hotel with our kids. This location was perfect for us to commute to sights in downtown Charleston, Patriots Point and Wadmalaw Island. It's a short drive, worth the price. Breakfast was hot, stocked and had a variety of items. Coffee was available all day. Pool was nice, heated and the kids enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable.

My family and I arrived at this hotel at 2 am after traveling for hours. The staff was very friendly however, when we came upon our room there was another family already inside. We spoke to the lady at the front desk and apparently the people in our room were in the room before us and never gave their room key back so they were still trying to stay in our room. She told us the room was already cleaned and the people were just sitting on the furniture, after waiting another hour for things to be sorted out we finally made it into our room. There were juice stains on the tables and an empty roll of toilet paper on the tube (which indicated the people were using the toilet and it wasn't clean). Despite the difficulties, the room was a very nice size, comfortable beds and very helpful staff. I give this hotel 3 stars because after traveling for hours I expected that we would be able to check in and head straight to our room instead, we had to deal with another family in our room. Our room should have been checked before our arrival.

Stay away if you can. Check in time was 4:00 and by 5:30 we still didn't have our rooms ready. I had to stay in the lobby waiting and waiting and waiting. Room size was good, but had strange odor. The most upsetting part was the duplicate charges they mistakenly put on my card. Called them twice and was assured they would refund, but 4 weeks passed, the charge now show up on my bank statement. Called a 3rd time, was only directed to the voicemail. … horrible service. Couldn't even get the basic logistics work. Stay away if you can to avoid the headache I had to go through.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The appearance of the hotel inside and outside was clean and up to date. The breakfast area was clean and spacious. The rooms had all working appliance and well kept. Great hotel and great location. Will definitely return here!

The professionalism and level of customer service was great. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was clean and new. It was also a short walk (less than 50 yards) to IHOP and a Cracker Barrel. Great access to I-26 to Charleston and airport. They have shuttle also.

TV is nice. The Room had very limited clothing drawers. I tried to watch a TV show but their internet must have been overloaded. It couldn't do it well. I HATE how they don't have bottles of shampoo and cond. The maids sometimes put the wrong soap in a container.

Horrible customer service. I should have read the reviews before I booked this place. This could be the worst front desk ever. Save your money and go somewhere else. It is a clean Hotel but the staff makes it so terrible me and my wife have never been treated so badly by front desk. And when a maid tells us she is always rude and nasty to everybody it just made it worse at the price point you can choose a lot better places with a lot better service after my first stay with Best Western Plus I would never ever go back

The rooms and the hotel overall was very clean. I'm rating this hotel a one for the staff and lack of good customer service. We had a room booked for 4 adults. When we arrived, only one wash cloth was in the room. When we asked for more, the front desk clerk advised we'd met our quota for the day. When we told her that we only had one, she said that someone must've given our wash cloths to another room. She said she did not have access to the laundry facilities and was unable to give us anymore towels. Then, she proceeded to finish the personal phone call she was on. So 1 wash cloth for 4 adults! Wow! Unbelievable! Total lack of friendliness and customer service. I visit Charleston often, but I will not be returning to this hotel.

We absolutely loved it. We stayed there for the first three nights of our honeymoon. It was wonderful. It was one of the only places, around there, that had free parking, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, and a room with a jacuzzi. It was beautiful and the people, who worked there, were very nice to us.

Bad customer service and rude manager. Front desk charged my card two times when I stayed I had to called the cops because he lied about it then said he reversed it which was a lie! Talked to the management and she was really rude and nasty. I had my 5 month old daughter with me and the manager was still being loud and really rude. She was a worst excuse for a human being. If you want to save a headache I wouldn't prefer this hotel at all. Room service sucks I had to bring my own playpen up the room smell really bad called front desk no one came up to clean on top of all that the people next door was so loud maintenance doing work on the room and 10pm. Manager was really ignorant and the front desk was irresponsible chargeing my card 2 times. Very stressful night with them. Never again will I stay here. Save yourself a headache!

I came to Best Western this week after deciding I needed some time away from things to relax. I have to say that this trip was far from relaxing. I'll start with the good stuff. The room was nice, check in was easy, and parking was good. Also there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Now, the annoying part. The second night of my 4 day stay, at about 6:30 pm, I started hearing what at first sounded like an annoying neighbor beating on the wall. Immediately I thought maybe my TV was too loud, but it just kept going. Soon, as the noise got more loud and ridiculous, drilling and such, I realized that the hotel maintenance had decided it was a good idea to start doing construction this late. So I called down and the front desk lady said she would take care of it. She did and by about 8pm they stopped. By the way I did ask for an alternate room but they supposedly didn't have any. Well, the next day the noise started up again. This time at about 4:30pm and it was much louder… they were knocking out tile right against our wall. It was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other. Once again I called and this time I asked the lady if she could hear the ridiculous beating on the wall in the background, she said she would take care of it. She came up to our room and asked us if we would give them 30 more minutes to work. So, we sat there for another hour and listened to the pounding and drilling. In fact we got it on video to show how crazy it was.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus because of the location and price. I was scared at first due to the online reviews but I went ahead and booked this hotel anyways since I like to build my own opinion. We arrived early (around 1:30pm) and the room (suite king with whirlpool) was not available until 3pm. This is normal check in time so it is ok with me. So we asked the front desk clerk for a good lunch recommandation. She told us about the Noisy Oyster and even gave us a coupon. She was very friendly, apologized about the room not being ready and told us to be back at 3pm for check in. We loved the lunch recommondation from her. We came back at 430pm and the room was not ready. The front desk clerk was a different one and she apologized about the delay, called the service team to expedite the move in. Within 15 min we were able to get the keys and move in. We decided on the jacuzzi King Suite because of the price and convenience of having a hot tub in the room. The door going into the bedroom area had lots of finger prints on the glass and was not cleaned. I totally understand that some things might go unnoticed upon being booked out and having to service the whole hotel with limited staff but I am a Property Manager myself and during busy season, it might be helpfull to hire additional staff to service the rooms more timely. The furniture is older and the matress is hard and old. The caulking around the jacuzzi is in desperate need of being replaced.
