My wife and I got married at the cottages last July. The moment my mother in law showed us the cottages, we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Everything was perfect! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The views are out of this world. The amenities were more than we could have asked for. We rented 2 cottages for my family to stay in and 1 for my wife and I. Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was a dream! If you’re even considering The Cottages, don’t think twice about it! It’s the perfect destination for a long weekend, family vacation, wedding, etc. Thank you for making our wedding day unforgettable!

The Cottages are located in the best location to enjoy the charm and water views of Patriots Point and Charleston. The screened porch, complete with water views and comfy rockers is exceptional. The rest of our vacation experience was marginal at best. Our cottage was not clean upon arrival and needed a deep cleaning in every room. There was food on the floor and very old food under the sofa. The provided bathrobes smelled and look used. The luxury bedding was old, stained and our top sheet and pillow cases had little rips and tears throughout. The deluxe continental breakfast was an assortment of grocery store boxed items placed on trays; no fresh baked local pastries — Really?!. Kids did enjoyed the mini cereal boxes. Swimming pool is not heated and cold, and jacuzzi hot tub was growing mold and not heated to the desired temps. I am so disappointed because I love the location and friendly staff.
