My hotel stay here was great. I liked the size of the rooms and the RiverRock Kitchen has good food. The buffalo wings were good with the kale salad. Ed the waiter even suggested a lava cake for dessert and it was so good I even ordered it the next day. I started off with a Chardonnay, but when I asked for a Dr Pepper to drink he suggested a Birch beer which is like a root beer and it was good as well.

Have a beautiful and clean room and the service costume this perfect.

Extremely comfortable beds. Friendly and professional staff. Shower was a stress reliever.

This hotel was very disappointing. Typically bc it’s a “Westin”, you’d assume the service would be great. This trip our family has encountered nothing but issues. Overcharging, dirty rooms, unprofessional staff. Please do not host any weddings, family reunions, or social gatherings here. Such a great disappointment.

The manager Ralph is very unprofessional. Staff messed up my reservation and gave me the run around for about 2 weeks for a mistake they made. No accommodations was met. I literally had to fix their mistakes 719 miles away via phone.

The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff is very is friendly and very helpful. However, what surprised my wife and I was the the food. Omg. For hotel restaurant, their food is outstanding. For breakfast, scrambled egg,! turkey, avocado was amazing. Both my wife’s and my meals were great: roasted chicken and risotto.

Even though the suite was clean and the staff was great, I am very disappointed with the Westin. I personally toured the hotel suites and rooms 9 months before the event and because it was exactly what we wanted, we booked a block of rooms, a suite for the bridal party and the bridal suite for my daughter’s wedding. Unfortunately when the time came, I was given a much smaller suite than I had toured and my daughter was not given the bridal suite. Since the hotel had 4 weddings that weekend, there was nothing I could do at that point. The contract was very vague and allowed room for the hotel to “bait and switch”. I would have appreciated a call or email from the staff letting me know there was a problem with the reservations. At this point, I still haven’t received an explanation which leads me to believe this is their normal practice.

I attended a wedding after hours at the Westin. The bar was stylish, well serviced and stocked. The rooms were beautiful.

Probably the best hotel in the city. Clean and with good amenities. Although room service/takeout might take a long time.

Nice lobby. Parking lot is too dark at night which is a security concern for guests. Room I visited was well stocked.

Nice hotel, but stains on carpet, no free Wi-Fi and terrible drainage in the shower. We had just finished camping and were looking forward to spending the night in a luxurious-hotel compared to our accommodations in the woods, but were very disappointed. When I tried to shower the water accumulated around my ankles and it was so disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend.

The Westin Wilmington is one of our favorite hotels! The relaxing scent of white tea permeates throughout the lobby and complementary infused water is available in the lobby as well. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help, rooms are clean and little touches (such as the essential oil blend) are provided to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The pool and fitness room are always clean, and water bottles are available while you work out. The hotel bar/restaurant never disappoints either!

Nice. Clean. I heard the scrambled eggs at the restaurant weren't that good though — just my friends opinion. Everything else was great!

We spent the night very restful. Nice facility quiet for vacation season. I really enjoyed my stay.

Always stay here when job in town. Comfortable and clean. Nice little bar and river walk. Walls could be a bit thicker…

My experience with WestIn Wilmington was so bad, that I didn’t even spend my night at the hotel. I travel for work and pleasure all around the world, and spend most of my nights on hotels — I didn’t expect to find the worst hotel here at WestIn. Before arrival we called the hotel to ask if we could have a package delivered at the hotel. The hotel received the package for us, signed it and kept it in their storage unit. At our arrival it shows that they never logged this package in their system, and claims that they didn’t receive it (well, then someone else has access to their locked package room)
When they bring out the package it shows that it has been opened and emptied. Even the guy who brought it to us agreed that the weight of the package could impossible contain two iPhones.
All their explanations changes. They claim that they didn’t do anything wrong. Told us to talk with their insurance and not them. Now, 6 months later, nothing happened and WestIn didn’t answer on any contact since we got told to reach out for their insurance (who of course denied to pay anything) Horrible customer service, and its proven that you can’t trust leaving you stuff with the hotel.

Ok so the staff is super nice and the hotel itself is very nice. Only complaints are is that it's built in a spotty area. Right across the interstate is a pretty rough part of town.

Very clean hotel. Service was wonderful! Bar and restaurant was a big bonus.

Went there for the Marine Corps Ball and the hotel staff were great. Interior was awesome. And they have robes for you to wear in the rooms. Thought that was cool. Room service was great. Bar had pretty good stock of local and imported drinks.

Came for a lunch seminar. Food was excellent and service was great. Would be happy coming back for another event in the future.

Beautiful room, and shower. Soft bed and comfortable furniture throughout. Bar drinks were strong and served by a pleasant bartender. Will probably stay again if I'm in town.

Beds are comfortable and view is nice, but Wi-Fi is not free. $13/day to have it in your room. The tub is not luxurious as advertised, it is very shallow and thin. Television takes 5 min to boot up and has no option to pay for movies. No breakfast unless you want to pay for it in the restaurant. There are cheaper hotels with more to offer than this place.

We had our guests for our wedding stay here and absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The staff is wonderful, hotel and rooms and amazingly roomy and clean, and the location is perfect! The hotel bar and restaurant were both very accommodating to all our guests! We also had our brunch here the day after the wedding and the staff was such a help making it everything I could ever want! Thank you to all the staff at the Westin!

Service was great all around. The hotel restaurant and bar were great and had plenty of delicious options. Good value all in all.

Friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lobby restaurant serves delicious food. Try the duck.

Nice clean and modern. Easy to get to and right next to the convention center. It's within a longer walk to restaurants and shopping so bring a car.

Friendly and knowledgeable customer service as well as efficient guest check in near the waterfront. Nice spacious bright clean rooms with quick Wi-Fi connectivity. My stay warm, quaint and enjoyable. Excellent view of the City and Waterfront dine in or at the tasty but favorable Ubon Thai restaurant behind Planet Fitness.

Friendly staff, spotless room and throughout hotel, food was excellent at the onsite restaurant. Pool is tiny and only 3 feet deep, no hot tub.

Stay here multi times driving north to hang with Yankee family. Staff, room, dinning, and bar are top notch! Everyone has always been very nice! Hotel and rooms are super clean! We will be back in summer! Macdaddy Approved!

I wish I could write a positive review as this hotel appears lovely and the reception staff were very helpful and professional. However, my experience went downhill once I got to my room. I experienced the worst night's sleep I ever have had in a hotel, which is saying a lot as I am a frequent business traveler. I have never written a negative review for a hotel, until now, but I chose the Westin specifically to get a good night's sleep on their "Heavenly bed" but the heating system was so loud I could not fall asleep. Finally, at 4:00 am I turned it off and took my chances that the room would stay warm enough without it. After finally falling asleep just after 4:00 am, the alarm clock in the room woke me up at 6:00 am. Apparently, the former occupant had set it and it was not turned off by housekeeping. It rang a couple more times before, now fully awake, I turned on the lights and figured out how to shut it off. Finally fell back to sleep when housekeeping woke me at 8:45 with persistent pounding on the door. I contacted the hotel's manager but never received a response. Never again, Westin, Wilmington!

The bathrooms are better than all the hotels.

The ambiance and aesthetics of the hotel are very pleasing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I was here in preparation for a friend's wedding, so I did not have time to experience the other amenities. However, for the brief time I was here, I did find it comfortable and enjoyable.

The room was nicely decorated, and the bed/pillows were some of the more comfortable I've slept in in a hotel. The shower had a waterfall showerhead. We weren't there for a baseball game, but you could see the Wilmington Bluerocks field from the room.

Invited my entire family to come celebrate our wedding this weekend. Booked bridal suites. Not a dish, plate, napkin, fork, or even trashcan in sight. Bathub doesn't work at all, and a 300 dollar bridal breakfast bill to the room came with no creamer… No dinnerware, no silverware and took three phone calls to get just creamer. On the plus side. No one got shot. Room 1022. Feel free to fix our stay. We are still here patiently waiting to go home. Pictures to prove it. Don't stay here. This place doesn't want you business.

Hotel is good but need better ways to receive feedback. I've stayed here the past 6 months and I know a lot of this location. I would definitely like to make suggestions but I do not know many avenues to do so. Breakfast are great. Robin takes care of me. Beds won't let me get off in the morning which is good. Bathrooms are ok. Rooms are good.

The room accommodations were great for social interaction for 8 people. The full kitchen allowed us to accommodate food into our interactions. The front desk was very helpful in finding my friend's room.

I was part of a wedding party that stayed at the Westin for two nights. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were spacious. It was a bit difficult to find because it's a little ways off the main road but other than that it was a pleasure to stay there.

Why the heck is with these people who say that this 4.2 stars worthy?!?! This hotel is pretty much booked solid the day I arrived. And the room I was put in had urine on the toilet and had no TV working. The Wi-Fi is paid which is very stupid and not good. The TV has no connection and was a "Smart TV" which had their own operating system on in which made it not simple and was very hard to navigate through. The bathroom was disgusting and pissed me off. Never again Westin, never again Westin.

Loved our stay at The Westin Wilmington! Everything was clean and beautiful. Staff is super friendly, lobby smells like white tea and has infused water — the extra little touches (soft robe in your room, essential oil blend to help you sleep, etc. ) truly make a difference! :)

The AC on the various floors that we went to didn't seem to work. Our room AC also didn't seem to be working well. Our hot water didn't work in our first room, but worked fine when we were transferred to our next room. The bathrooms weren't well cleaned, but they were diligent about correcting issues. Overall, a bit below average of an experience.

Great hotel; new amenities, a decent restaurant and bar, and a decent gym/pool. Also right across the street from a Planet Fitness. Perfect business hotel.

What can I say? This is a nice, luxurious, beautiful hotel. Very quiet despite its proximity to a highway, and very relaxing. Beds were indulgent, linens luxurious, I could use an entire thesaurus on this one stay. Very restful night's sleep. I'd return in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were had a fantastic evening of dining on the order patio of the Wilmington Westin. From the new Edison bulb lights to the fresh herb garden, the ambiance of the venue left nothing to be desired. The drinks were fantastic — the bee's knees and mint julep were delectable! — the food was superb without being too costly, and the servers were friendly and more than accommodating. We stumbled upon this dining delight when we had over an hour wait at Iron Hill and, as a local, not only was I extremely impressed but I'll also return! This was a wonderful evening and an amazing venue.

They have been very helpful even after our reservation was booked incorrectly. Some of the staff could have a slightly better attitude. At the front desk, the demeanor of the lady checking people in changed when it was an older guest, while her attitude towards me, a younger person, was pretty bad.

My recent stay I was dissatisfied! No one told me about a standard room that was extremely small and had no microwave. I walked in my room and I was like this can't be what I pay for! I had to search for the refrigerator that was build into a cabinet. They didn't email me my receipt! I had to come back.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Beds were quite comfortable. Hotel staff was immensely helpful.

For the price, not worth it. We'll never stay there again. No Wi-Fi unless you pay $12 a day for it. Sorry, that's not what a $160 a night hotel does. No complementary coffee downstairs. I didn't want to wake up my wife making coffee in the room early in the morning, so went downstairs to find some, but could only buy some in the restaurant when they opened. Only one towel rack in the bathroom. I am happy to reuse my towels, and would like to hang them up. Even if not reusing, then what, leave on the floor for my wife to walk all over when she's in there? Also, don't get a room on the third floor. I heard another couple complain about lobby and bar noise and that they couldn't rest nor sleep. The lobby is open to the second floor where the pool, gym, and some conference rooms are. Hence, it's the third floor directly over the lobby and bar. Everything was clean and the gym was decent. But, I'd expect that anyway.

Spotless room, comfortable bed, flat screen HD TV, great service! Food in restaurant was mediocre, but the prices weren't outrageous, so no complaints. All in all, a good experience! Would stay here again.

My family stayed here (2 kids under 3) and really enjoyed it. It's within walking distance to the Delaware Children's Museum and the Riverwalk. There are great food options nearby as well. We also enjoyed the indoor pool. Staff was great and the room was perfect.

We were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. The staff was wonderful. We loves the pool it was a bit chilly for being heated had it been a little warmer that would have been great. My kids however enjoyed it. Would recommend this hotel to others and we would definitely stay here again.

I attended the Delaware Trauma Conference at this location. It was a very nice envoirnment for a conference, large, clean, AV system was adequate, refreshments were adequate, overall great experience.

What a great place! Food is top of the line. Chefs are awesome and engaging with staff. Servers are on top of everything.
If your in the area you must stay here.

Met my colleagues at the Hotel, which was located at the Wilmington Riverfront, for a dinner meeting. I was the first to arrive so I went to the bar for a cocktail. The bartender was excellent. About 20-30 minutes later was when my colleagues arrived. There was 8 people including myself. I think the restaurant in the hotel was called River Rock. Excellent service and the food was exceptional. I definitely recommend this place.

Staying for 4 nights. Room is nice and comfortable. Thought it was weird that they don't have information in the room about the local attractions, but they have a concierge to help with all that. Restaurant is good. Bartender was super nice and friendly. I will stay again.

We just stayed for 1 night and really wanted to enjoy the pool for our daughter and I wanted to soak in the tub. The descriptions of the rooms are very misleading. Heavenly bed and bath in a king suite, you imagine a bath and shower. However upon arrival we were informed all king suites are showers only. So don't let that fool you when purchasing a room. The pool is supposed to be heated, but it was NOT. We couldn't stay in long because our daughter was freezing. There isn't free breakfast in the morning unless your a member. And the restaurant ins't reasonable. We will probably stay at a different hotel next time. Everything else was ok. The beds could've been more comfortable but it was just ok.

The bar and the bar service was great. I order a medium steak and it came out exactly the way I expected. My wife ordered butternut squash gnnochi that she loved.

Excellent bad, amazing shower and very affordable room service! Couple of things needed tweaking in this new hotel, but staff was awesome and took care of everything, including our breakfast bill once I mentioned some of the minor issues. Love the westin.

Loved the staff especially Kortni and Davidia! Kortni made my stay at Weston the perfect part of a long day! She upgraded me and my son to a suite and it was awesome! I am now a loyal customer to Weston due to their staff and how gracious they all were during our stay! Thank you again, Kortni!

We had our annual work conference here again this year. The rooms as always were amazing. They are comfortable, clean and inviting. However, preparation for our visit was not as good this year as prior years. Breakfast buffet was not ready and the restaurant was not appropriately staffed to support our large group.

We went for the US Marine Corps Ball. The hotel and Chase Center were perfect looking. The receptionist was super nice. The hotel room was very clean & the bed was very comfy.

Stood at the westin to celebrate my anniversary and loved it the room is beautiful and very clean. We also had dinner there and it was delicious we are planning on returning again. I highly recommend the westin.

I typically enjoy boutique style hotels for luxury amenities and personalized service. Coming from DC the cost of a spacious king room is amazing! Under $200 for a good sized room is awesome. The lobby is well lit, spacious, and welcoming. The front desk staff did put us in a highway facing room on the 5th floor — when someone asks for a corner room this is not the view they had in mind. So be specific with your requests — high floor, river views etc. The service wasn't up to par with the W or Ritz or a Kimpton but that's the only downside. The room has plenty of outlets, a couple bedside, more at the desk, and a couple in the walls. Finally an iHome docking station compatible with the iPhone 6 plus! The closet space is great, roll out drawers were plentiful. No complimentary water though : ( bathroom was a stand up glass shower, waterfall or traditional :) the door closes and locks. The breakfast in the morning although not buffet style was incredibly good and healthy! Late checkout @ 2 was granted after I talked them into it. We are in Delaware there's no way you can convince me you're booked to capacity on a Sunday morning — let us stay two extra hours. There's a Starbucks about. 5 mile away — not corporate though so beware about trusting those baristas w complicated orders. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice and clean. As an FYI, unlike all other Westin properties, they charge for morning to go coffee. I can make it in my room and they still charge. Ridiculous.

Great location! We stayed here for a local weekend getaway and was very pleased. The hotel room was much more than we expected! It was spacious, luxury, and immaculate. Overall, the hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Excellent food at the River Rock Restaurant and other great attractions in walking distance. We'll definitely stay again.
