Usually Hampton is a terrific hotel and I suppose its a minor complaint but the pillows in my room were awful! I attended a family reunion so other family were at this location and they said their pillows were fine. I know it's a minor complaint, but such an easy one for the hotel to get right… and they didnt. Everything else was terrific and if I would have been there for more than one night, I would have asked for different pillows and I'm sure they would have made me happy.

I’ve never been so excited to write a review as I am this one. My wedding was this past weekend. We chose the Hampton Inn Tunkhannock to host our wedding party and guests. I so happy that we did. I worked with Lisa from the beginning. Which means for months she put up with my millions of questions and frantic phone calls. No matter what the nature of the call she always put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. She is a true gem. We arrived at the hotel on Friday, check in was super easy and quick. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Any and all needs we had were met and exceeded. Monique was with us basically most of the weekend. She was always friends and so helpful. She even managed to calm me down the day of the wedding when I was freaking out. At one point one of my bridesmaids bouquets fell apart. We told her what happened and asked for some tape. She wouldn’t settle for that. Instead she got a needle and thread and began to SEW the bouquet. I am in absolute awe of the devotion of the employees here. They really want everyone to feel at ease and enjoy their stay. Quality customer service like this is truly hard to find. This hotel also offers free breakfast. OMG! I’d rather go here and have breakfast than the local restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was always flowing. I cannot thank the team at this hotel enough for all they did for Myself, my husband, and our guests. Top notch!

Everyone is super friendly. Freshly baked cookies is only one of the small ways they show they care. I have no complaints.

The award winning hampton inn tunkhannock and it's staff should be a world standard for hotels. All white linens not a spec of dust or mold or dirt to be found anywhere ever. Two different choices each day of hot breakfast eggs sausage omelettes pancakes biscuits with sausage and gravy to name a few as well as cereal fresh fruit a waffle maker yogurt oatmeal and all the toppings and yes it is complimetry. I have been staying here for 3 years when I come to visit and it is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Oh and there a a pool. Oh oh and a hot tub sold yet?

We stay here everytime we are in the area Beautiful rooms and the most Amazing staff very friendly and accommodating Highly recommend!

The hotel is newer and very clean. I like the amenities and the location is close to the main roads through town. Rooms are average for a Hampton inn but everything works and looks nice.

Visited a friend who was staying there. Gorgeous suite. Very clean. Great location.

Very clean rooms with all the proper amenities. No low-light fixtures for night like at other Hampton inns. Water pressure and temperature were great even on the second floor. Breakfast is good and the housekeeping is done very well. No complaints.

We stayed there for a wedding last night. The staff was super accommodating and went out of their way to ensure your stay was great. Monique was great. They have things if you forget or need them. They actually went up and checked on my son for me. They checked the room for me and called me back quickly when I thought I forgot something. The rooms were clean. The whole hotel was clean. The free breakfast was great and the attendants were great. We'd stay again in a heart beat.

This was out second stay. It was in a convenient location right off the highway, exceptionally clean, and a calming woodsy setting. We used the hot tub several times (also very clean), my fiance swam laps in the pool, and they have a very nice fitness room. I would highly recommend staying here if you need to getawat.

Newer hotel, very clean and well appointed. Road access is a bit tricky. Overall a nice place. Staff is very nice and respectful.

This is a nice Hampton, with a decent workout room that actually has some weights. I was most stoked about the lemon cookies they had out in the lobby though! Those were excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a couple of board games in the lobby, which I thought was a nice touch.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good breakfast. I stay here once a month for work and have stayed here at least a half dozen times. I've never had a bad experience, highly recommended.

I stayed for 3 days. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. To me that says that they enjoy their job. The rooms are comfortable and plesant. If you'd like to get in a bit of exercise and a chance to stretch, you can use their amenities, which are great OR if your needing a bit of 'nature therapy' ask them about the Iroquois Trail. It's an excellent place to walk or jog.

Rooms are in excellent condition. Staff is friendly. Complimentary Wi-Fi is surprisingly fast. The shower is good. In the lobby there are board games and cards. There are lots of nearby restaurants, including one just outside the main entrance of the hotel. All in all, my stay was comfortable and relaxing.

Exceeded expectations! Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a lot of variety, but I wish eggs were fresh.

The Tunkhannock property is newer and very nice inside. Room was clean and nice, breakfast was free and tasted great. Would stay here again.

On arrival, the desk attendants were very friendly and pleasant, offering us complimentary drinks or snacks. After travelling for 8 hours, we took them up on their offer of a complimentary beer. Later one of my co-workers needed to switch his room from a double to a king which they did with no problems. The rooms were clean and new, and I liked The walk in shower. The breakfast was varied including a hot option and we were pleased to arrive back to the hotel after work one evening to find complimentary drinks and hit snacks in the lobby. Great hotel and would definitely stay here again.

There aren't many choices around and this is one of the newest and best maintained.

This is your standard Hampton Inn. It is clean, newer, and has a good gym. The Internet is really bad, but it's the best place to stay in the area.

Recently I got an opportunity to stay in the Hampton Hotel for a few days and the experience left me with overwhelming gratitude, because of their extraordinary customer service and demeanor. I have never experienced this in any other hotel I stayed in… SPECIAL thanks to the staff.

Our company has used the meeting room on numerous occasions. The staff is very accommodating to all of our needs. I recommend this ultra clean and ultra friendly establishment.

I do not usually waste my time leaving a review unless I am very dissapointed or very very very satisfied. In this case, I am very satisfied. I had trouble with their new online Advanced Purchase system and I was charged double. Well I don't want to explain every detail of the problem but it wasn't just a simple problem. But they called me with such a nice attitude and apologized for their mistake although everything happened only because they wanted to give me a better deal. They took care of the problem and wanted to make sure I am 100% satisfied and I am! Thank you Christine! Hope you become a manager soon! I highly recommend you staying at this hotel. Every staff was nice and there was a lot of complimentary snacks and bottles of water.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Tunkhannock June 16, 2014 — June 20, 2014. Very nice hotel and the staff is outstanding. An extra big thank you to Jeremy from maintenance for unlocking my car when the keys were locked in.

Booking a room online was fast and easy. The accommodations were excellent, clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again when traveling and highly recommend it to anyone that visits that area.
