The staff here is always friendly and rooms and building always clean.

Due to heavy rain my 3 children, family dog I were in a car accident on route 81. The towing / mechanic owner called the Comfort Inn to ask if they had room for us. They had one room left. They sent someone to pick us up as our car is now most likely totaled. They gave us a fare rate for the night until someone could get to us. They were so helpful and hospitable we were able to feel safe and calm after such a traumatic experience. The hotel is very nice and clean, all the staff was friendly and hospitable. We thank the front desk, all staff and management for Comfort Inn & Suite Barnesville! It’s good to know in times of need there are people out there who care.

Too foggy to continue on any farther so we got off the highway. This hotel was close to the highway and had a vacancy so we took it. Front desk clerk was polite and very helpful, including recommending a restaurant that delivers to the hotel as we were very hungry too. Very clean room and slept like a log. Great breakfast the next morning before we got back on the highway.

I got caught in the construction traffic on I-81 after a long day of driving. Nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed and not too noisy for being next to the highway. Very pleasant stay.

Fantastic. With no expectations, I was blown away. Great room, friendly staff, good breakfast. While close to the ownership golf course, it is just outside of convenient to business in Pottsville. But that was made up for by what a great place it is. Check out the room behind the breakfast area.

After having a very rough day stuck in traffic and on the road for over 8 hours, Melanie was extremely accommodating to our situation and made sure we got a room for the night where we could relax. As a southerner traveling back from a long weekend in Boston, her hospitality was refreshingly unexpected (after previous experience at other hotels along the way) while much needed at the same time. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Literally the best comfort inn ive ever been to. The cleaning staff worked like a well oiled machine. The breakfast lady was efficient and pleasant even when other people staying at the hotel made her job difficult. And the front desk staff specifically Nikki and Gavin were the best I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The room was spotless and they had no issues with my wild 2 year old and the fact that we had two dogs. If you have to choose this is the place to stop.

The staff was really nice. The room was clean and very big. This was our second time staying here and it was just as good the second time as it was the first.

Staying at this hotel with my mom for a funeral. Very accommodating. Melanie was extremely helpful and made sure we received the best discounts under the circumstances of us being here. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I'm not even going to give them a star they treated us like garbage messed up my credit card and tried to kik us out after we payed for the three nights there's a really rude blond old lady that kiked us out and stold all my funds from the credit card that red cross gave me they managed to keep all the funds are not careful with credit-card and have a girl that is in training taking care of booking rooms they don't train people well enough to leave them by themself charging I don't recommend this hotel at all and breakfast is garbage they still owe me 43.00 $ wish I think they keeptfor tip because no one will give them tips we were there because our house burnt down don't recommend it at all.

Long trip. Great place to stop… nice room. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and friendly service. Of course our dog cost extra. Even tho he's cleaner and quieter than some people lol.

I've had a great stay. Rooms was accommodating and clean. Easy access to I81, which is good but also noisy.

Pet friendly, nice clean rooms with kitchenette. Wish we could have had more than two towels to begin with, but we could have asked for more, so that's on us. Breakfast was nice and staff was friendly.

Decent place to rest your head if your looking for good basics. Breakfast and free Wi-Fi were a nice perk too. However I booked a non smoking room and the room j was put in really smelled like musty stagnant smoke… I told the receptionist about this at check out and she insisted it's because people smoke outside the room and fumes get sucked in through the AC. I say that's a fib and smoking / non-smoking rooms rotate as need… I can't call it for certain though. Overall I enjoyed my stay, as it was cost effective. However next time I plan to be in town I'll look for a better place.

All I did was drop off newspapers there, but the front desk ladies were wonderful and the smell of blueberry pancakes still has my mouth watering.

This Comfort Inn is always a most enjoyable stop. The entire staff goes far beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I have recommended this stop to others who have all had a delightful stay. Now that we are "empty nesters", this hotel enables us to visit family & friends in the true Schuylkill County spirit.

We stayed here due to a fire. The Red Cross made the accommodation for us. The Comfort Inn stay was very nice. They were very personable. Our rooms were very nice comfy and clean. Plus they gave you a great breakfast. I will go back with them and highly recommend them.

Loved it… they serve an amazing breakfast. Make fresh waffles with waffle iron. They have a nice view, and sitting/community room. Have shuttle service. Staff was polite morning noon & night.

As usual, I am greeted with a warm and welcoming feeling when walking in. These are the nicest and most helpful people that I have come across I'm all my travels. To me, that makes a large part of why I stay here or recommend it. I never feel like a customer or and inconvenience when I stay here. It's a comfortable feeling. The rooms a current and clean. There are many places to stay to the south and north of this hotel but my first call is always to them for availability. I highly recommend staying here.

I can't believe all the reviews saying this hotel is "clean". My room was filthy. The bathroom was down right nasty — I had to have someone come clean the pee covered toilet seat as soon as I got there. Don't even get me started on the floor. The night stands were SO dusty and clearly not wiped down in a long time. The white comforter had nasty yellow stains on it. I will never come back here or to any hotels in this chain. The 3 stars are because it was cheap.

Have stayed here many times and have always had a positive experience. The staff is friendly, rooms clean, breakfast is typical and good quality. The hotel is pet friendly. Great location to visit Pioneer Tunnel, Yuengling Brewery, Tuscarora State Park. Great golfing nearby.

Great spot for layover on a long trip! Close to I-81 and a small directly across the highway. The breakfast could be better, but you get a good night's sleep for a good price.

Great people, clean and well stocked. Suites have fully stocked kitchens, all you need is the food. Easy access to interstate 81. Free breakfast and plenty of local places to eat at or order in.

The woman at the front desk, Nicole, was very nice and patient. There was a difference in price when we arrived at the hotel and she corrected the problem very quickly. The room was cleaner during our last stay here, but it was still fine. We always love to bring our dog on vacation.

Easy check in and great room. Slept so well because the bed was so comfortable. Good breakfast, most importantly excellent customer service. There was a problem which I was not aware of until morning. I informed the staff at check out so they could notify housekeeping of the issue, I was so surprised when they reduced my room rate by half. Certainly not was I was expecting, but excited they valued my business. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice place… wish we were offered bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast… 1 recommendation would be to put the bigger TVs in a double queen room where they sit farther away from the wall as compared to a single bed suite.

This was a wonderful property filled with staff that exude commendable customer service. Front Desk agents we encountered checked us in early accommodated all room requests higher floor, non pet room. Etc. Our room was properly cleaned and breakfast setup was nice. It is a new property nestled around nature and small towns. We explored the local autumn festival in town and ate at La Dolce Casa. Check out process was simple. Convenient access to major interstates. — Looking for a relaxing weekend away from hustle and bustle of life choose this hotel — Thank you to all Hotel Staff.
