My brother didn’t have a great experience renting here. Building-wide fire alarms are frequent. They seem to be a weekly occurrence. These alarms are not typical smoke alarms, they’re loud — like war-time air-rade loud. I was there during one. After spending two hours outside on the street they finally let us back in. Then, after almost falling back asleep, they decided to set the alarm off once more just to announce ‘all is clear. ’ This is apparently the price you pay for living in a building with a thousand people. An expensive price at that. You also get perpetually crowded and broken down elevators.
I absolutely loved it here! The amenities are beautiful and new and the management is friendly and helpful. I moved here after having a mouse issue in another building and I never so much as saw a sign of a mouse in this building. Very well cared for!

We reside at 1500 Locust Street We have been in this unit for 13 years. 1. We were informed that our monthly rent is ABOVE the norm for this apartment. 2. We were told that the only way to take advantage of a similar unit (or larger unit — on a higher floor — or a completely updated unit) at a LOWER PRICE than we are currently paying is to MOVE from our present apartment to the cheaper, available apartment. 3. It seems to us that it would save a lot of time and energy if the rent on our present unit were scaled back to the level we would pay if we moved in fresh. 4. It seems that we are forced to move in order to get the lower rent that a NEW renter would get. Thirteen years of being a loyal, happy renter means than being a new renter.
