It doesn't look like much from the outside but the room was lovely. Big, comfy bed, nice room, good amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close to lots of restaurants and easy access to interstate. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Very friendly staff, microwave and mini fridge in the deluxe rooms which are still at a steal for just around 60 bucks. Could use new comforters, stayed here a few varies times, different rooms and seems all comforters have holes (they have smoking rooms which I do request). Other than that lot a bang for your buck. Oh and I got a sneak peek and room they're starting to renovate with nice wood floors and gorgeous rugs! Can't wait til they're done and will definitely be a give star after reno is done!

Decent place for the price. Room smelled smoky though it was supposed to be non smoking. However it was clean, beds were comfy, had clean towels. Breakfast was minimal: cereal and waffles. No meat, eggs, or yogurt.

This, the Red Roof Inn in Greensboro, N. C. Is the most disgusting place I have stayed since 2005. The towels stink (verified by the maintenance man). My mom saw a bug in the bathroom and the floor was so warped from water damage, I had to put a towel over it. When I called the front desk to ask for non smelly towels and bug spray, the desk clerk (an Indian man) yelled at me and hung up. Needless to say, I called corporate headquarters to complain. The room smells stale and the tub is broken. This place got good, up to date reviews, but it did not live up to the online hype! I won't stay at another Red Roof Inn EVER! Gross.

The price was cheap. The staff at the front desk was nice. The beds were very hard and the comforter had cigarette burns in them. The sheets underneath were fine. There was no fridge in the room!

Not too bad. We booked a designated “No smoking” room and ended up in a room that smelled like a chair smoker stayed in the room. Breakfast was not great. I was disappointed that we were charged 1.50 per night for a safe we did not use. This charge was not indicated when reserving the room. I only found out about after arriving at our next destination. Next time we will stick with Baymont or LaQuinta.

I walked into the first room. Stool dirty, hair in the tub and on bathroom floor, bathroom door had 6 months of dirty grim all over it, red spots on bathroom walls, large mud clods on bathroom floor, and the chair was filthy. Went to the desk and ask for another room or a refund. The desk clerk was very nice, apologetic and gave me another room. This room appears much cleaner except the bed spread which has dried milk looking spot on it. Needless to say I won’t sleep on it and I will never stay at another red roof inn again. Lower case on the name was not accidental. How this hotel has a 3 rating I will never know.

Nice cheap rooms. Great for a one night stay. Close to the airport.

This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star. Where do I began, After traveling all day with my children, we booked a room Online being that I've stayed at a Red Roof INN before (different locations), the old Caucasian male who worked there was very rude and I've never been so disrespected in my life by a person who is in the hospitality industry, and in front of my children. First my child's father booked the room, and the guy was like… " oh so you and mr. Are about to have some fun tonight can I join… mind you my children were with me. I was like that is so unprofessional… not knowing about the area… I was caught off guard. Next he refused to give me clean sheets or move me to A clean room. The room smelled like sex and cigarettes. Please, if you are Christian or have small children AVOID this place at all cost. Red Roof Inn should take there name off of that locations bldg, because it is tarnishing the brand. Not only that, After the bad treatment he wouldn't give contact info for my child's father to get his refund back. WOW what a messed up way to began father's day.

Room was decent but not entirely clean on arrival. Breakfast was good and the front desk worker was nice.

Clean room for a fairly cheap rate. Started there several times and better had any issues.

My family and I were stopping on our way to a family vacation. We needed a place to stop half way because we have two small children. Once checked in we went to our room and the room was supposed to be non smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. The blankets had burn holes in them. The bathroom was dirty, and smelled like pee. I am very dissatisfied with this hotel. I recommend no stay here it is a dump.

It was a last minute place to stay as we were in our camper when we started getting tornado warnings. We opted to find a hotel and this was the only one available that could take use and our dog at last minute that wasn't a crazy price. The front desk was extremely rude and kept telling me that there were enough rooms and we did not have to book with him. Finally I called back a third time and said please take my info to reserve the room and he did. Upon arrival our room smelled of smoke (even though non-smoking) I asked to move and he said they had no other rooms. The hotel is close to i40 and the airport and overall the room and beds seemed to be clean and comfortable. The bathroom and floors looked as if they were recently updated too but still minor things were in need of repair (loose shower heads, missing caulk, a good vacuum) They are pet friendly but will only allow one pet which is annoying. Also they do have free continental breakfast with a minimal amount of items (Cereal, Donuts, One Waffle Maker, Juice, Coffee, and some fruit). The staff either did not speak very good English or just did not care. We did not feel welcomed at all. Then again, it was our only option at the time. But when we have all the options at the tip of our fingers this would clearly not be one of them.

Last minute booked in. Great customer service. I really enjoyed my stay here. Safe place.

Maid service on only one day. Room not clean and obvious signs insects in the bathroom and corners. Shame because the beds are comfortable. Bed linens and towels were all clean so was the sink, bath and toilet. Heating and cooling both worked well so there you have it.

We’ve stayed in Red Roofs all over the country with excellent stays. However, this was by far the worst RRI stay. Things were left in the fridge. The microwave didn’t have a turntable. The hairdryer didn’t work. Drain plugs for the sink and tub were messed up preventing drainage. We had to ask for enough towels (3occupants2towels). We had to ask for an iron. We asked for the glass for the microwave. We didn’t get it. The man at the desk was not apologetic at all. If it weren’t for needing a place that accepted pets we would have left.

Was the poorest hospitality I have seen in sometime. And I would recommend going somewhere else. I would forget this place if I were you. I know I will!

Clean, spacious & quiet rooms. Very fast and friendly check in. Brightly lit parking lot made me feel secure. Granite countertops, modern lighting, computer workstation, Samsung swivel flat screen tv, coffee pot, mini fridge, microwave, digital safe, and the best steam iron I've ever experienced in a hotel/motel. All this in one room for just over $50.00. Slept like a baby. Excellent value. I will return and recommend to my friends/colleagues.

Standard 2 star hotel quiet and clean. Close to the highway and the staff is always helpful and courteous. Not "The Plaza" but, a decent room for the money.

It's a Red Roof Inn. Perfectly adequate, just don't expect a 5* resort. Nice and clean.

Its got everything u need tone comfortable, without the price of all the luxury! Great free breakfast, comfortable beds, and a coffeemaker… Just enough and always clean, tubs drain thank the Lord, and pet friendly without the ridiculous deposits… Free Wi-Fi, cAN just hook my Chromecast up and chill! ;)

The fridge nor microwave worked in the first room we got. The man at the desk was not very friendly in resolving the issue. The lady I spoke with that afternoon kindly moved us into another room with no hassle at all. You wont find the beds or breakfast decent and the Wi-Fi isnt really worth trying to use either. I would advise finding a different motel unless this is the only thing in your budget.

Stayed there because we needed a reasonably priced hotel to stay in to go A&T’s homecoming. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We saw 2 roaches in 24 hours! One was crawling in the chair and the other one crawling above the head board of the bed! The room reeked of mold and mildew! You can clearly see it had water damage. The chair was old and had a huge tar stain on it! It should have been thrown in the trash! The refrigerator was leaking water. The hair dryer was broke. The bath towels are too small to wrap around your body! There is no closet and the bathroom is so small they had to put the sink outside of it! We were afraid to leave anything on the floor and had to shake all of our belongings out before packing them up to go! I am praying there are not any roaches going back home with us! I never write reviews! But am writing this one on the road to be sure I don’t forget to write it when I get back home! The only positive thing I have to say is that the customer service from the front desk staff was good! I DO NOT recommend this hotel!

The location of this hotel worked perfectly for my trip, it was only 20 mins from downtown. However I would mostly likely never stay here again. The rooms were update which consist of new paint, floors and min fridges and microwaves. Be careful not all rooms come with the fridge and microwave only the KING rooms. Our double room was way small. The neighborhood is ok and the hotel is on an off street so traffic is light. However the neighbors we had played LOUD MUSIC all night literally until 6am. The front desk was notified but did nothing. The walls are paper thin and we could hear people walking past our door all night I would suggest staying on the second floor if at all. Overall I would pay the extra money and stay a block up at the Holiday inn.

I was very impressed with both the staff and the room. Everyone was smiling. Even the housekeeping staff wished me a great day. My hats off to the management for fostering this environment. Thank you!

Cheap no frills. Kind of shady seeming. Room was clean, bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Wi-Fi let's you connect but can't do anything. Breakfast was okay for a continental. I'd pay the extra few bucks next time for a nicer place. Staff was friendly and helpful at least!

The room we got at first was not clean when we first walked in there cigarette butts and other stuff. Had to go complain and they gave us another room. But I was just not happy with the experience… I reserved the room online so I didn't see everything till I got there.

Needs renovation and upgrades, otherwise it was cozy. The bathroom was too small and they needed a refrigerarator and/or microwave in the room. The price and location was decent.

The outside of the buildings are dated. So we had doubts about staying here, but the room was clean, updated and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and you can't beat their rates for a pet-friendly room. I don't eat motel breakfasts, so I can't comment on their's. However, they always had lots of good, hot coffee.

Overall this hotel is awesome! I can't stand reading the negative reviews of disgruntled guests that expect 5-star service for $55 a night. Go spend $500 a night for the amenities at some fancy hotel if that is what you need. This hotel has always given me good service. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and functional. I highly recommend if you are in the Greensboro area.

Worst place I've stayed in quit a while. The breakfast that is included is a joke. Don't recommend anyone stay here.

You get what you pay for. Dead roach on the floor, but the building is surrounded by woods and it's a 2 star hotel. I wasn't surprised and you shouldn't be either when you see this place. There is also that smell others have mentioned. Bug spray? Mold in the carpet? Sheets on beds that haven't been changed in a month? Your guess is as good as mine. I stayed for 3 nights. The day after my first night my phone charger was taken by what I can only assume was the cleaning lady. After seeing this place for the first time I knew it was shady so I took all my stuff with me when I left. Everything except my toothbrush and phone charger. I knew better and paid the price. I complained to the guy at the office and all he did was look around the office for it. After he finished and couldn't find it, I told him I didn't lose it and knew exactly where I left it. He just said sorry. Yeah, this is the last time I'm staying at a redroof inn.

Don't check in late. They will upcharge you with an empty parking lot. Don't leave your wife and daughter alone. The sleezy hotel manager will enter your room even with the privacy tab on the door. Don't park next to the building, other guests will hock logies on your car. Don't expect a high pressure shower.

The rooms are filled with a strong unpleasant smell. The air conditioners have a bad smell as well. The staffs are friendly and help me change the rooms twice. However, all the rooms that I stayed in are smelly.

Was able to check in late no problem. Loved that. Requested a non-smoking room, sheets and covers had cigarette holes and room reeked of smoke. Bugs around base of toilet and shower. Hated that. Told front desk employee and he moved us to a better room. Loved that. Had a dead roach but no other bugs I've seen thus far in the new room. Shower and sheets are clean. Pictures on website — definitely are misleading.

Clean and quiet, 24 hour Check-in lobby was very convenient but didn't have breakfast hours posted so we missed it.

Not the best Red Roof I've visited, though certainly not the worst. Everything was just a little run down: toilet seat was partially detached, sink plug and shower plug were disconnected, water from shower head was an uneven spray. Nothing bad enough to ruin my stay. It's still a great deal – "bang for your buck" as they say. Location is also excellent for restaurants and proximity to the airport. I would stay here again (and probably will).

Stayed for two nights while on buisness in Kernersville. Clean comfortable room, easy access to dinners and the interstate. Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Ms Kim who is genuinely friendly (not paid friendly) and loves her job.

I'm reading the other comments and wonder if these people stayed at the same place, I was there this past week and "bang for your buck" the best place. I was in Greensboro on business with my wife and we were real close to everything, visited a great antique market nearby, slept well, sheets were real clean, we checked for bed bugs as well and all was well. Believe it or not, I bring my own sheets when I stay in Motels and I didnt need them. The front desk was courteous and helpful, I rarely give perfect scores so my scores are giving this place the best I can give to a motel. Good Value.

The room stank. The room was too hot to be comfortable and the air conditioner stopped working. The only good thing was the location, it is close to the airport.

My husband and I recently stayed one night at this hotel as we were traveling through Greensboro, and I woke up the next morning with huge red welts all over my body. After doing a little research, I found that all those bites, were bed bug bites. Beware! The room looked very clean. I will now, always check first for bed bugs before I lay down in the bed at night. I've done enough research now to know how and where to look for them. Up until recently, I had no idea that bed bugs were REAL! I always thought that was just a saying.
