Nice, and clean with no frills. One issue: I was down at breakfast, and asked for a rest room key, as there appears to be no other rest room anywhere on ground floor or in lobby. I was told that I need to go back to my room. I was on 3rd floor and had my 3 year old… and ine of the other clerks had allowed us to use it tbe night before. Pretty tacky.

This hotel was extremely clean! The room was nice and had good ammenities. The breakfast was good, but could have had a few more options. Though we didn't have time to use them, there was a pool and a gym. The hotel was close enough to downtown that we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Overall it was a great experience.

Very impressed with our choice. $90 for a clean and comfortable hotel! Enjoyable breakfast too! Kid friendly! Definitely recommend.

My mother and I were getting ready to book our room this evening, when we saw couple bad comments about the hotel. Mom and I been coming up every year for Wine Tasting and to visit my relatives in Auburn. We have always stayed at the Inn at the Finger Lakes. Mother has a walker, and the staff always go out of there way to help both her and I. This past Thanksgiving we had the pleasure of meeting the New Manager Michael, and Kaitlin who helped me with my cell phone issue. Both at all times were nothing but friendly. We always stay on first floor near the door, so we can get in and out easily. Lots of newer additions since last year to the hotel — we noticed a t. V. In lobby. We also enjoyed the wine in the evening. Beautiful place, in a quiet location. Close to downtown — and we loved Moro's table right around the corner.

I stayed three days at the Inn. First, the hotel proves to be dog friendly. A small park near the west side has a space to take care of business, with handy bags served up by a dispenser. Second, the property stands near Moro's Table, the Underground Bottle Shoppe, the Copper Pig and Hunter's Dinerant. I walked easily to the Auburn Public Theater for a Saturday show. Close to the heart of the city but far enough away to be quiet. Third, I found my bed to be immensely comfortable and my room impeccably tidy. Check out the doughnut bar of soap, too. Full pots for making in room coffee await. Delicious tea on ice when you're thirsty. Bottles of wine delivered cold and uncorked to the room. Direct T. V. With unlimited channels will keep you entertained if you stay in the room.

Lovely little hotel. Be aware that Google maps will absolutely try to take you in the exit! Very nice staff and clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast could have been better but the breakfast staff member was lovely!

Rooms charges were not as stated. Staff very very unprofessional. The manager has no business being a manager. He should be fired. Un kept poorly dressed and no skills. Rued and belligerent. Got charged additional cleaning charges for 4 rooms only booked three. No where is it stated that such charges could be assessed. Highly recommend don't use this hotel. Worst ever. Have reported to BBB also. Please fire the staff. Forgot to mention the smoking charge. No one in the entire family smokes soooo?. Rating should be zero not one but won't allow. Don't use this hell+++===*&*^ > stay away.

Worst hotel. Worst management. After my stay in this hotel after 4 days, they deducted 50$ without any reason or confirmation. When I called, they told me talk with my manager (who will be never that time) after multiple calls when I reached manager he told me this is due to cleaning. I don’t think it was that messy my room was and if they told me that room looks messy I would hv clean by myself. When I argued that guy ready to pay me 35$back and which is going to deposit in 2 days. Trust me guys I waited last 1 month for that to happen and that money is not yet deposited. These people randomly choose customers and do these things. I later came to know by reading their reviews (I wish I could read that before, but during run u never see these things) Please never go to this place who knows u will be next.

The staff at the Inn at the Finger Lakes have always been very accommodating to me and my family. The Manager Michael, has been at this property for several years now, he has always been very helpful to my wife and I, and gone above and beyond. After reading some of these reviews, maybe the people who have had problems, were not following the hotel policies. But we have always enjoyed our stays, and the hotel. Everything down to breakfast and evening reception are great.

This place is a total rip off. After we left decided to add to our credit card $150.00 for smoking in room! What a joke. My wife is highly allergic to smoke and you cannot smoke even in the same house with her. If she sensed any part of smoke she would be demanding a new room immediately. WE live in AZ so I guess they figured we were far enough away to dispute it. We were on a 25 day road trip which covered 8431 miles. Stayed in 24 Hotel rooms on this trip. Not one claimed any smoking except this one! Imagine that! Parking was bad, room tight an not easy to move around in. I called this place 5 days in a row and never received a return phone call about this. If you like your money and do not want to be taken advantage of, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I have and am truly enjoying my stay at the Inn at the Finger Lakes. Michael, the manager, worked with me with my limited expenses from my employer. That relieved much stress. Thanks Michael. As for the staff, they are awesome and very attentive to their clientele. Miss Emily is a sweetheart. She puts up with my dry humour and antics. She is patient with her not so friendly clients. She is a gift to any employer. The housekeepers are fantasic. The room is always in tip top shape when I arrive from a long day at the office.

Busy traffic area, hard to get into parking lot. Poor placement of entrance. Arrived early and they were made aware online of the time and no accommodation was made for it. Shower was good. Bed was comfortable. Average buffet breakfast with small eating area. Had Wi-Fi with easy access.

The staff was rude when I tried to check in early. I was told there is a 24 hour Walmart down the road, and I could go and walk around until it was time to check in. I explained that my mother had knee surgery and she is also a diabetic. I told the desk attendant she was being rude and I wanted to speak with her supervisor. She responded by saying I was a "bully" because only a bully would ask to speak to a supervisor for bad service. The Assistant Manager told me he was not a racist because he "has black friends" all around the world, and his staff was doing what she was trained to do. He did not validate anything I had to say, and tried to hurry me out of the door. Before leaving he said he will talk to his employee and call me the following day. To this date I have not received a phone call. I hope you have a better experience than I did with the staff.

I loved it. I wish I could take it everywhere I need to stay. It had everything I needed and a few more. Lovely window seats. Clean, had a fridge, close to restaurants AND they had happy hour from 5 to 7 every night.

The room was quite spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial. The hurdle is the entry into the property and a convoluted parking lot. The address is Seminary Ave. But you cannot come onto the property from that road as it's a one-way exit so you have to circle around on one way streets to get to John St. To find the entrance. If this abnormality is noted on the website it's quite hidden. Now that we know how to get in, it's been a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for a wedding with a friend. They were really good about letting my friend check in early and without me so we could get to the wedding on time. The outside is updated but the inside is super dated looking. But the beds were very comfy and everything was clean. A tad expensive though.

Very convenient location. Clean, though a little dated. Very small rooms and a little pricey. Overall a good experience. Would stay again.

My stay at The Inn at Finger Lakes was great, my room was clean, bath was clean and smelled clean. I saw some reviews that stated that the rooms were small, they are, but well kept clean and comfy. I would recommend it for your stay. I will return there in the future.

The rooms were clean, nice and small (not in a bad way). Staff was courteous and engaging. This is a nice place to stay. The price was right but I also went in the off season.

I wish they had a "Zero Star" option. It was awful from the moment we walked in until we left. Literally the only pleasant part of our stay here was Leeanna. (I apologize about the spelling) She was so sweet and helpful; however Vickie and Patrice are a completely different story. This was our experience; We arrived roughly at 10 am. And waited at the front desk for a while, (I could see people talking in the next room, but I wasn't noticed until I coughed. ) We were then very sternly greeted with "YES?! " said by Vickie Harris General Manager, I explained very apologetically that I knew we were early, and that check in wasn't until 12 pm but we had been driving through the night for the last 12 hours and we were very tired. She then replied with, " THIS IS THE LAST TIME I'M DOING THIS! You need to understand that check in is at 12 pm! " Patrice added "and if you wanted to come in early, you should have called and booked a room for the night before! " (Mind you, we are literally one of maybe 4 guests staying here, so I have no idea why checking us in early was a problem. ) I was shocked that Vickie said "it was the last time" implying that I had in someway ever seen or spoke to her before, let-alone spoke to her on this issue before. I then thanked her for her time while she finished checking us in.

Stayed for a month and would be glad to come back! Staff is kind and frendly, the service is perfect! Recommended (from Mexico)

One of the cleanest hotels you can stay at. Breakfast is from 6-10 every day, and is very good. The staff is Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Very very small but nice staff and clean.

Rooms are not huge, but staff is most friendly, decent gym, and great managers reception.
