Old and quaint, but musty smelling and poorly maintained. Squeaky doors, loose shower handle, and outlets so loose things you plug into them fall out. The Wi-Fi was so weak and slow in the Young room, it was practically non-existent. This place is not recommended unless you get can a room for much less than $100 per night and you're willing to put up with the deficiencies.

Old smelly worn out dump. I'm not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from but this place isn't charming or quaint, it's old yes, but also not maintained at all. Old worn carpets, paint peeling off every surface or someone slapped paint over peeling paint thinking it looks ok. Bed sheets were so worn that they were thread bare and pilled over their entire surface, kind of like sleeping on sandpaper. It seriously looks like the place was abandoned long ago. Dust was caked on every surface not reachable by a human arm, which is just plain lazy. At least a quarter inch under the bed, so don't put your bag there and an inch thick on the A/C intake vent, nasty. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I mean no one.

We loved the history of the manor and the area but the room was musty smelling and tub was weird in the room to close to the bed and bathroom was in need of repair cracked tile scaped dirty looking tile in shower and black grout. Wish we could have given it more stars for the pretty manor outside and we love this kind of historical building's.
