Nice clean hotel but front desk not professional. Did not greet us as we walked through the door with a hello or how may I help you.
room was clean but very supportive there was NO microwave in the room.
disappointed about breakfast several cold options but hardly no hot breakfast options.
also not many places in room to place a ac adapter to charger phone near bed (s).

Nice hotel and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However, our room was not cleaned good. Shower still had opened soaps /shampoo in it, wet towels left in bathroom and garbages were not emptied. Poor cleaning job, very disappointing and we didn’t check in till 5pm.

Nice room, good location. Right off Routes 5/20, but far enough back to have little street noise. Easy drive to businesses, restaurants and Seneca Lake.

I highly recommend the Wyndham Microtel in Geneva… Very pleasant staff… rooms are clean, continental breakfast is great (chocolate chocolate chip muffins) YUM… Only thing, I wish they had a small microwave in the rooms… THANK you.

Surprisingly nice compared to other microtel. Decent sized shower. Good pressure. Breakfast was simple and nice. Nice pillows.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful here. The woman behind the check in desk gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. The new manager was outgoing and enthusiastic. We even ran into him grocery shopping at the local super market!

Great hotel. Second time here. Beautiful location, easy to access. Lots of parking. Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Look forward to this place every year.

The room is clean and smells good. No microwave. One coffee no refills in room. Breakfast lots of starches, some apples and hard boiled eggs. Sheets thin, bed and pillow comfortable. Pet friendly. I would definitely stay again.

It was a wonderful experience. Checking in was painless and pleasant, accompanied by many recommendations for dinning options as well as sightseeing in the area. Room was super clean and modern. It included microwave, mini fridge, bar and stools… staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly.

We were supposed to stay here after a friends wedding. I made a reservation a month in advance under her room block and the girl who took my reservation had my number to call me because we played a bit of phone tag. We were running late to the wedding so we weren’t able to check in beforehand, and when I showed up after the wedding at 11:30 pm they told me my reservation was given away and they called me at 6pm (they didn’t). Whoever took my reservation wrote down the wrong number (even though she had used it to call me when booking originally) so I never received a call asking me if I would be late to check in, and it didn’t say anything on my reservation email about this protocol. The hotels in Geneva were completely sold out, leaving me and my husband tired to drive in the direction of home (5 hours away). The woman at the front desk was absolutely unapologetic as well. It took a lot of restraint for me not to lose it on her. Needless to say, I won’t be giving them my business again, and I’ll never make the mistake of not calling if I’m going to be late again. Update: the management from the hotel has offered to pay the difference between this hotel cost and the one we incurred along our journey (we ended up staying at a Courtyard in Ithaca). While paying for the price difference doesn’t make up for the inconvenience or the time missed with our friends and other guests the morning after the wedding, it was a decent gesture.

Check in seemed a little unorganized, however it looked like they were understaffed so we were understanding of that. But when we arrived at our room at 5pm, we were in a rush to make it to a wedding to find that there were no towels in our bathroom, the housekeeping staff were very friendly and grabbed them immediately for us, yet my sister's room wasn't ready for them by the time we arrived at 5 while check in was at 3, claiming that it was "fifth in line. " Beautiful room just for the nightly stay, but organizational & professionalism certainly are opportunities to be improved on.

Simple rooms. Friendly staff. Found a baby bottle under our bed indicating the room had not been cleaned to it's most thorough standard.

Modern and clean but a bit cramped. Overall enjoyed our stay. Desk staff, Michele and others, were friendly and helpful.

Had to find a place quickly after a family emergency. Decided on Microtel because the night before we had a wonderful stay in the one in Bath. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the beds were quite comfy.

Perfect location to access the main street. The entrance can be missed just because of the way it is positioned. Better street level signage would be awesome. The staff were great very accommodating. The fitness center could use some new machines, the ones there are pretty well used and their stability shows it. I was afraid to push my self on the treadmill because I thought it was going to give out on me. Clean room and linens, breakfast on the run as well.

Have stayed here several times, friendly staff and very clean which is a biggie for me. Great room rates. Always have fresh cookies and good breakfast would stay again!

The employees were very kind and respectful. The rooms were clean and well-stocked with towels. The breakfast was convenient and of a good quality.

Very personable and helpful staff, they took care of any question we had. The hotel is currently in the middle of renovation but still very clean and neat rooms & foyer. Suggestions for dining were given along with menu & discount coupon which was appreciated after arriving later in evening & hungry. Breakfast was okay: there were delicious bagels, cereal, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, etc offered. My only strong suggestion is to offer better tasting & stronger coffee as it tasted weak as tea, even tho labeled as "bold". All in all, we enjoyed our stay, especially the price and will return next time we're in Geneva.

Great location along a strip with lots of food options. Right around the corner from the main downtown area and not far from the Thruway. Room was extremely clean, beds were so comfy, AND THE PILLOWS… the pillows felt amazing. Free breakfast was yummy. The hotel is located back off from the road, so no road noise at night. The sign was a bit hard to see for the driveway.

There were ants in my room and we were treated very rudely when asked for ant spray. They switched our room but then complained to us about how it was our fault because of the ants and how now that it's spring we should know better.

Great stay at a great rate! Rooms are very nice and for once I didn't wake up all stuffed up fron the smells of chemicals hotels use to clean! Very comfortable beds with a continental breakfast!

It was an excellent stay all around. It started with coming in from zero degree weather to a warm lobby and chocolate chip cookies and got better. The only possible negative was immediately corrected by the staff. I need to print an email and the business center computer had tech issues and could not access the internet. The staff very kindly referred me to a sister hotel (Days Inn) next door to use their business center. It was worth the short walk to get this important document printed. That is going above and beyond in my book. Plus they had some feminine hygiene products that my daughter needed. Great service all around.

Newer hotel with Clean rooms. However the staff leaves much to be desired… Not very friendly… nor do they try to go above and beyond with service.

This place is beautiful and simple! Nice little get a way from Rochester though. Love it!

Somehow I ended up in a handicapped accessible room which was okay I guess. Clean room. Helpful staff. Whenever you get the room by the stairs and side door there will be lots of door slamming at 6 am to wake you up.

I really like this place. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Our room was a queen suite so it has a queen size bed and a partioned off sitting area with a bar and stools, sm. Refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast is more than adequate and they have freshly baked cookies every afternoon. Would highly recommend others to stay here.

This is a fantastic hotel and location. Check in was smooth, room is spacious and very clean, breakfast is free and delicious. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a while and it shows that the employees care about the success. I will return to this hotel again in the future.

Stayed 4 nights here with my hubby. Hotel is clean, rooms (suites) are a great size, location is awesome, and value cannot be beat! Don't let the name "Microtel" fool you… there is nothing micro about the place. When we come back to the area we will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Truly a microtel. The continental breakfast is hard boiled eggs, very small single portion yogurt, with lots of breads and muffins and cereal. High volume day watched another guest take the last of hard boiled eggs (5) for himself, no more eggs were brought out. Nothing one could consider gluten-free, luckily I thought ahead and brought my own breakfasts. Staff is courteous. Staff always working, folding sheets, etc. When not busy covering registration desk.

Loud guests. They were escorted out by police. The room is clean. The heater/ac is kind of old and outdated.

The room was cleaned immaculately cleaned and very clean great smelling beds will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Had a nice stay 8/5/16, but the carpet in our room we were in was very stained & needed a deep steam shampoo/cleaning & the chair in the room was Disgusting! Stained nasty spots all over it & needed to be thrown in nearest trash can… so were some of the chairs were stained/dirty in the breakfast area.

When we checked into our room, it smelled as though someone had just smoked weed in it just a few minutes prior. (It was so strong, someone had to have just smoked in the room prior to our arrival. ) Since check out time is noon, and we arrived close to 5pm… we knew it had to be an employee.

So it's midnight and the floor I'm on has loud voices… Loud music… Ugh! Meanwhile they lost my reservation earlier… The staff is not friendly and jot motivated to do anything for anyone to help…

Seems like it's a brand new hotel. All the rooms are clean and the staff has been really great. They even had cookies and ice cream out the first day we were here.

The staff were very friendly and curtious. The room was clean and it was very quiet.

Wonderful location, right next to the holiday Inn express. Clean property, plenty of parking. Nicely kept grounds. Free lemon water and fruit, paper breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Water was hot and pressure was brilliant.

Staff was friendly, room was fine. But you could tell the room hadn't had a thorough cleaning in a while because the carpets were dusty for the first inch or two along the walls (dark carpet, otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed). Bed was clean/comfy, bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was good but basic, no eggs/bacon/sausage as I've had at other hotels. Overall a good value for the price.

We have stayed at several hotels in New York, but the experience beyond the imagination of good. Rooms much larger than normal, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend for business or fun staying.
