We were put in a smokeless room and it reeked of smoke anyways… I’m very sensitive, and it was an instant headache for me. Thought I was going to be sick. All the people at the front desk said was “it’s a smokeless room, which you asked for, and we are full so we can’t move you” No “sorry we will come spray” or anything. What a shame that they didn’t catch the smell before we got here…

We were originally staying for 5 nights, checked out after our first night. The atmosphere was very unsettling, people were banging around and slamming doors and talking late at night, and I lost it when someone was sitting outside smoking and drinking beer! That gave us the creeps. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the beds were very comfy. Will not be back anytime soon. Go check into somewhere less creepy. Fred's Inn a few miles away is cleaner, more conformable, and less unsettling.

Went to view rooms to use for wedding accommodations. The rooms were clean and well kept.

Great for a quick stay, when in Norwich! It's civilization… where you need it.

Nice place for a get away weekend.

Upon entering the bathroom for the first time I noticed small black dots around the tub drain. I looked closer and saw they were moving. Called the front desk and after explaining there were bugs she didn't seem at all apologetic or surprised, she just told me she would give me another room. It's a budget hotel but it's on the dirty side. Wouldn't stay here again.

Rooms were clean. Shower had great pressure. The air worked great. Bed was comfortable lots of pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful when needing extra items. Great stay.

Pretty decent hotel better than most. Breakfast could be a little bit better though.

Great customer service. The head house keeper was amazing.

Conveniently located for the Northeast Classic Car Museum. On the main road through town, making it easy to find restaurants. Clean & quiet.

Great place, breakfast was lacking, Wi-Fi was good, rooms where lacking plug or modern usb charge ports that are common now in rooms.

Very friendly. Loved the lady on 3rd shift. About 1115 pm my car had an accident. Causing us not to be able to use it there was no tow truck or car rental place available. The police flat out said he can't help me at all. I called one hotel and they referred me to super 8. The lady talked with me on the phone and got me, my best friend, two kids and our dog a room for the night. Thank you for helping us in a super crappy situation.

I wish there was a way to know which room you are booking because they gave me the smallest room I've ever stayed in. It was next to the ice machine and the lobby. I kept the fan on all night and it didn't mask the noise. I read the reviews and was prepared to not have a microwave or refrigerator in the room. The cold breakfast was sub-par, but barely enough to satisfy. You don't have much choice in Norwich.

We were told when we arrived on Saturday that they were having computer 'issues'. We checked in and the room was fine — clean, no complaints but not a luxury place. When the charge went through on my debit card, it went through 3 times. I called the hotel on Monday morning to report the problem and was told there was nothing they could do until their manager came in on Wednesday. No apology. When I finally got in touch with the manager, she apologized but said there was nothing they could do until the additional holds on my account 'fell off' which would be 5 days after the initial charge. In the meantime, I couldn't use over $140 of my own money! They never offered to comp the room, give me a free stay in the future, a discount, nothing. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at another Super 8 again! I gave a 1 star rating simply because it will not allow me to post this without it.

I stayed there twice, the hotel only needs a microwave and refrigerator to make it a better place to stay.

Reasonable room rate that's clean and close to anything in Norwich. The whole hotel is kind of dated, though.
