Horrible experience. The tile In the shower was all broken and full of MOLD. I reported to the front desk, and they did nothing. The towels were old and yellow of so much use. Truly disgusting. There is not a manager, and no stuff. Only one front desk person that was ashamed of the place but couldn’t help us. One elevator working only. Elevators look like a service elevator. The lobby is just basically fake. Just a horrible entrance with NONE amenities. There are homeless sleeping At the door of the hotel. The location is across the st from the bus station and not in the nice part of Hudson Yards. They have no storage room for luggage so if you need them to hold your bags, they just won’t. I have no idea how this could be rated a 4 star hotel.
It’s falsely advertised as nothing looks like in their own pictures.
I would NEVER stay here again.

Excellent hotel! The rooftop, the view is beautiful. The location, the Cleanliness and decor is perfect. I recommend this hotel 100 % and above all the staff, attentive, always with a smile and willing to help you for your stay to be perfect. We see in the next Cassa Time Square hotel!

This is a nice place. Walking distance to lots of places. Clean, beautiful room that I’m in. Really good staff. Although I don’t drink, there is a bar, a terrace, a gym open 24 hrs. I would definitely return when the price is right. I caught a special deal just when I needed a deal. I would love to stay tonight as well! But this is beautiful!

Had a great time. Our room was spacious and the rooftop view was beautiful… wine happy hour and complementary breakfast was a great addition. Met the owner, he and the entire staff were awesome!

Stayed at the hotel 3/12 for 4 days. Hoping to find the 3 items left in room 327 when I checked out today. If you happen to be in room 327 please tell house keeping asap. Thanks for being kind and respectful and handing in my clothes.

Great location about four blocks from Times Square, but far enough away to avoid much of the congestion. Close to subway 1-3 lines to get to the southern part of Manhattan or ride up, to Central Park. Start the day with free breakfast. Roof top access (pictured) is a great place to end the day and look at the scenery. Easy to miss the hotel unless you know the address. Also, if you prepay make sure you book the hotel with the credit card you will check in with.

Did not have a good experience here. Arrived at the hotel around 1:30pm. They couldn’t accommodate until 3:00pm. We were greeted by an amazing luggage handler. But from there it just all went down hill. Upon check in of our one night stay we were informed that breakfast from 7 to 10. Check out was a mess. I had to leave early in the morning and my airport shuttle was arriving at 7:30. My girlfriend and I arrive at 7:15 to try to eat breakfast. We were informed that breakfast began at 7:30. We asked if we could just get drinks and when they allowed us to enter, the employees were sitting in there eating breakfast. My shuttle came early and I was actually not allowed time for breakfast. My girlfriend only remained now. Her insert: “I was in the shower when someone tried to enter the room around 11:30. As I was gathering my things to leave around 11:40, they came back knocking on the door abruptly asking me when I was going to be out of my room as if I wasn’t welcome there anymore, even though check out wasn’t until 12:00. The staff here was extremely rude and unaccommodating during the stay. ” Overall a poor experience. We left another hotel to come here and we were utterly disappointed by the professionalism of the hotel staff. If you’re looking for a friendly and nice hotel. This is not the one. The rooms were very nice however but lacking a refrigerator.

We reserved a double queen room. Upon arrival we were informed that a leak was found in our room. We had been upgraded to a junior suite which was perfect. Complimentary wine and sweets for our "inconvenience. " The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Perfect location and very delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back!

We spent 5 nights here for our sisters trip to NYC and they were FABULOUS! So very kind, welcoming and attentive. They did all they could to make sure we were comfortable and always beaming smiles when we would come back after our days' adventure. If you want the essence of the best of NY, the staff here is it! Stunning rooftop and great location right by the Port Authority. Thank you for help making our trip a blast!

Clean, updated, self-controlled room temp, good complimentary breakfast, friendly staff (we especially enjoyed our conversations with Felix), beautiful scenic views from the rooftop patio, and close to the Metro, Hudson River, and Times Square. We had a great time staying here and hope to stay in future trips! Thanks for the hospitality!

It is perfect and central to visit Manhattan. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast very good and the view of the city from the terrace is spectacular! I recommend it.

Staff was really nice. The hotel itself kind of takes you out of the middle of the city, in a good way, but the rooms are pretty small. Also, breakfast is pretty below expectations. I would stay here again though, for the staff and location.

We spent one night here and really enjoyed it. It's not a fancy place, very minimal but felt very clean. There is a little rooftop you can sit and enjoy. We received a complementary bottle of wine and room upgrade when we got there. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly. It's a little inconveniently located, depending on what you're planning on doing. There wasn't a metro super close that we could use. We don't mind walking so it was fine with us.

Thank you so much to everyone in Cassa Hotel Time Square, we had a fantastic time in NYC The locations is perfect, the rooftop terrace has amazing views, complimentary glass of wine and free apples in lobby (my girls were loving them). Thank you for beautifully decorating the room form my daughters 16th birthday, the service was the best you can have.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was in the city for only one night to celebrate my aunt's birthday and I wrote a message to the hotel telling them about it while making the reservation. What I didn't expected was the surprise: they decorated the bedroom with petals, balloons, delicious cheese cake AND a bottle of champagne. WHAT A SURPRISE! We just loved it! There is a beautiful basket in the lobby with nice, big, sweet, crispy apples for anybody who wants it. It's nice to get something healthy to snack when you are coming in or out of the hotel. Very cool! Now, my aunt does not speak English and the staff was still very helpful, nice and patient with her. We had breakfast included but for some reason didn't expect much about it. Surprise again! There was bagel, croissant, muffins, eggs, cereal, yogurt, oat, juice etc DELICIOUS! Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm and we arrived at 12. The room wasn't available but they took very good care of our bags. Some of the staff that I record names was Michael at front desk and Felix who carry the luggages. Both very nice and sweet guys. I don't remember the housekeeper's name but she was amazing too! The one thing I didn't understand was: why there is a door to get to my room door?

Amazing service and very nice modern rooms plus good location. Felix and Michael were especially nice. I would stay there again.

The Atwncon very careful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The possibility to eat fruits arranged at the entrance.

Stayed at many hotels for many years, so the 3 star is reflective of the overall value and comfort level. Had beautiful views of the city on their roof deck, comfortable beds and a more modern boutique style. Was a little dirty overall, no room service (not a deal breaker), but the annoying this was the shower that flooded the bathroom due to no curtain/door and poor design. Overall felt like a really old building was renovated with the attempt to make it trendy, bit the basics on amenities and comfort were missed. I recommend staying at a Marriott instead where your money is better spent.

Small, no real lobby. Mediocre (at best) breakfast buffet… scrambled eggs, tater tots and disappointing almost stale mini baked goods. Not the cleanest hotel. Some staff were friendly, while some accommodated guests, quite frankly, based on their ethnicity. Which is not how I have ever lived my life so this was quite disconcerting and unfortunately tainted our stay a lot.

Great value, clean and friendly. Had a wonderful time in New York and we always received a nice welcome back to the Cassa after a busy day in the City.

Very well located, customer service was very good… however… there is NO storage room, if you are planning to stay 1 week or more or if you are a family of 4, be ready to keep your things in your bag. Their towels are a very low quality. Their beds and covers are good and it was pretty quiet eventhough they are located on a busy street.

We arrived at Cassa and were given a nice room, however, there were ants crawling on the bedside table. We discretely notified the front desk, so other guests wouldn't hear. We were given a much smaller room, but they promised us an upgrade the next day. The following morning, we were told that no room was available, but that we would recieve a refund. When checking out, we were told the refund would be on our credit card 10 days later. At the moment, we are over 2 months later and we still haven't recieved it. I have contacted the hotel through e-mail 4 times and twice through facebook but they never bothered to answer. I'm very displeased with the unpolite attitude of not even answering and being lied to. Breakfast was crappy too…

Great attention on the part of all the employees. Modern, well-appointed rooms. Good situation. Breakfast included, not a marvel but it makes you the workaround (the bad juices, rich scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, croissants, cafes and little else served in cutlery, cups and plastic plates). It is the only downside it has, the breakfast lowers a bit the bar but still it is great! Totally recommended!

Not at all as great, clean and newly built as the pictures on the website tells. I hate when someone over-sells and then just under-deliver! This is NOT a 4-star hotel. Beds seems ready for replacement and breakfast is just so white bread and sad. But the location is great and that is worth the two stars.

We'd a room on that is directly next to a bar, separated just by a window! If the window could be opened, anyone can just walk between the room and the bar easily; that's how close we were to the terrible noise! Music and clatters flooded the room the entire Friday night till the wee morning. We're a family with young kids and have a flight to catch the next day. The noise spoilt the last night of our holidays. If the hotel does not want to invest in proper sound proofing, that room should not be let out; it's totally unlivable. It's unethical of the hotel for letting it out. Worst experience in a hotel ever!

Do not stay here. My girlfriend and I decided to take a last minute trip to NYC and after searching for rooms, we finally decided to stay at Cassa Times Square and we completely regret our decision for MULTIPLE reasons. 1) We were told our room would have an "amazing view" — — this was not the case at all. When we got to the room, all we could see was an unused patio with tables and chairs stacked on top of one another. 2) In the rooms we were given, both the shower and sink did not work properly. The shower stream was sporadic and the handheld head did not work at all. Along with that, the sink did not turn off completely and was, if anything, mildly annoying. 3) the rooms were EXTREMELY DIRTY — — when we got to the room I went to hook my laptop up to the television, and the amount of dust behind the TV and on the tables was ridiculous. It looked like the room hadn't been properly cleaned in MONTHS. In addition, I put a clean towel on the floor of the bathroom in order to soak up some water, and after picking it up, the color of the towel was completely different — — from white to black (Mind you, this was all within 2 hours of us checking into the room. ) 4) Finally, when my girlfriend was taking a shower, the ROD for the shower curtain FELL OFF THE WALL and hit her. Luckily she was okay, but when we told the hotel staff, they didn't seem to care one bit.

It was ok. Location great. 2nd floor view of someone a neighbors stockade fence was ridiculous… and that was after a request for an upgrade lol. It was not a bad place to stay.

We took a chance at staying a little off the beaten path at a hotel we weren't familiar with and simply went based on reviews… sooo glad we did! From the second we walked in the door, we were treated as though we were their only guest, catering to our every request! The room was spacious for NYC, extremely clean, breakfast at no charge which is very hard to find today, plus a lovely rooftop view of the city! Walking distance to Times Square, Subway, Bus Routes and several restaurants, shops and bars everywhere you turn. We will definitely be back when we return to the city, no need to look further for a place to stay, we loved it there! Thanks to all at the Cassa, you were all wonderful! :)

This hotel is stunning! The service is great, it is very clean and is very accomodating. I love the complimentary breakfast, they offer an amazing assortment of breakfast that is fresh and delicious. I am a very satisfied customer!

Nice hotel. Conveniently located right outside the craziness of the Time Square area. Rooms are well designed with nice bathrooms and showers.

This hotel although mixed with residences knows how to accommodate their guests! Ms. Jenny is a true ambassador to this hotel, she gave me exceptional service from selecting a good room with view, to even offering a bottle of champagne for my special occasion. Rooms are simple yet modern with a lot of space. I also loved the rooftop deck! On point.

The room is clean and simple. The staff is very nice. We traveled with an infant and they gave us a room at the back to lesson the street noise so she could sleep. Overall I would stay again.

Great staff, good size room, clean — ticked all the boxes for my wife and I. Good location, not in Times Square (thank goodness) but it's less than a brisk 10 minute walk away.

Great location being so close to Port Authority. I love the modern style rooms. Hopefully you get a chance to relax on the rooftop it's a great place to get some air and checkout the view.

Gorgeous hotel… good sized bedroom, with your own ipad and roomy en suite. Very comfy beds and kept very clean. Friendly staff… would definitely recommend!

The hotel is in a great location, with many restaurants near by. The room is an average and adequate size, minimal furnishings but well appointed. Bathrooms are small but look great. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Got the room for $92 on HT app. Small room, but clean and well kept. Staff was competent and helpful. I asked for a small fridge in two separate stays, both time got one within 20 minutes. During one of the stays, I was able to check in around 11am, which was a rare treat! On site gym was a big bonus for me. Not all the machines work, so try to get there early (like 5 am) The only slight negative that I can think of was that watching video on my handheld was very choppy. Other than that, I had very pleasant stays.

Great new hotel. Booked through HT and was able to stay for 2 nights without a problem. Beds are super comfortable and rooms are pretty spacious for a Manhattan hotel. Still very new and seems to be missing small amenities. But not any deal breakers.

Very good hotel, staff are friendly and very helpful. Room are nicely decorated, and spacious. I would say there is a lack of drawers if u are staying for a period of time there is not much space to store anything. Air conditioning unit, quite loud at times, but we didn't need it so turned it off. Very good location, close to lots of restaurants and 10 minute walk to time square.

Me and my wife stayed here for 5 days during my honeymoon. It's clean and quite, no bed bugs. Staffs are kind. Although dining and bar areas are not fully functional, it's still great cost-effective hotel.

Amazing hotel! First trip to NYC and when I return I will be staying here again. The staff at this hotel is the most caring, friendly, personable, professional group of people I have ever seen. On our first day my husband and I managed to get lost on the lower level of the hotel looking for the gym and wondered into a few people in a meeting of some sort. It happened to be the manager and he was super nice and helped us find our way along. Every time you leave you are greeted and everytime you enter you are greeted. They treat everyone with respect and compassion and I could not have been more pleased. Jenny does an amazing job! Just satisfied. Give them a shot if your in the area!

It was comfortable and they had many complimentary on demand services that made our stay great.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at The Cassa Hotel in the Marilyn Suite. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and reflective of website description and photographs. The rooftop terrace was welcoming. The immediate neighborhood was good fun with Time Square and Bryant Park less than 10 min walk. The staff helped us with flagging taxies, storing our luggage, and arraigning a car to the airport. It’s a good choice…!

I stayed in nyc with my boyfriend for my 21st birthday and I'm glad I chose Cassa as my hotel. It's very clean, cozy, and modern. We were very late for our sign in because we accidentally went to the Cassa in 45th street, but Lucas (front desk) was understanding and so nice! He gave us a room with a nice view and accommodated to our every need. I am thinking of staying in NYC again for my 22nd birthday and I will definitely choose Cassa times square as my place to relax after all the festivities. The staff really know how to manage the hotel and keep it functional. Amazing.

Bestes Hotel in NYC — Ich bin zwar erst einmal in NYC gewesen, aber dieses Hotel hat es in sich. Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal und schöne Zimmer. Kein anderes Hotel hat mir das "Zuhause-Gefühl" besser vermittelt als das Cassa. In wenigen Minuten am Times Square. Wenige Schritte vom grossen Busterminal entfernt. Es ist einfach SUPER. Jetzt zur kalten Jahreszeit steht immer eine heisse Schokolade bereit, die man aufs Zimmer nehemen kann — geniale Idee. Das Frühstück ist vielleicht ein bischen klein, aber man kann sich genug stärken für den Tag. Danke Cassa Hotel für einen unglaublich schönen Aufenthalt — Thank you so much Cassa Hotel! Un séjour inoubliable dans un cadre idyllique. Idéalement situé à seulement 10 minutes à pied de Times Square, cet hôtel est tout simplement parfait. Nous avons passer une semaine au Cassa Hotel qui de par sa localisation, nous a permis d'effectuer un maximum de visites (proche métro — Times Sq 42nd St ou PABT 42nd St en plein Midtown West (Garment District). Notre chambre (suite standard — 2 lits queen size) convient parfaitement à une famille avec 2 enfants, la literie est très confortable (important pour se reposer après de longues journées de marche dans les rues de Big Apple! ). L'hôtel mérite totalement ses étoiles, le service est impeccable et le personnel au petit soin (merci encore à Melissa à l' accueil, Fred, … et tout le staff qui était adorable). Si vous oubliez comme nous votre dentifrice à la maison, téléphonez ou envoyez un message depuis l'iPad de votre chambre à l'accueil et quelques minutes plus tard un membre du staff vous apportera brosse à dents et dentifrices pour tout le monde, ou encore des bouteilles d'eau si besoin en rentrant de votre longue journée. Si vous désirez réserver une limousine, un spectacle etc. Le concierge de l'hôtel se charge de tout pour vous. Les lits sont faits tous les jours, la salle de bain et la chambre sont nettoyés et les serviettes changées quotidiennement. Au check-out, on nous a remboursé les produits du minibar (fausse manipulation de celui-ci) et les appels locaux.

Great hotel and better service and staff. I will repeat and recommend without any doubt. The location. No point in looking for any other hotel. Terrace at the rooftop was a marvelous surprise, to rest after q hard day walking.
It recommend to all who want to pass some days touring NY. With and without children. The hotel is new and very nice. And the terrace on the top floor, with jacuzzi, and free and open use. Allows you to also bring your dinner or meal and relax.

A great hotel for location, service, cleanliness and friendliness. If our holiday in New York was great it was thanks to this wonderful hotel. Spacious and clean, breakfast very good. The top is the terrace with jacuzzi. Imagine yourself in there at night after you walked around the great city that is New York, with the view of skyscrapers lit up all around you.
Very easy to get the Subway, and a short walk from Times Square. What about other things? You can never go wrong for sure. Loved it.

Fantastic location, staff & overall experience I am admittedly someone who travels often and appreciates quality. I have high standards for hotels. I can't recommend this hotel enough. From walking in to the moment we left the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The front desk gal, Nallini, was a real standout. At check in, she shared in my enthusiasm and listened to me talk in excitement for seeing my loved one after several months. By the time I left the hotel and returned with my boyfriend 2 hours later, we were greeted with a totally unexpected and so thoughtful bottle of wine chilling in our room. This kind of sincerity and attention to detail was our experience with Nallini, then doorman Alton… they really stood out for their kindness. The free hot chocolate and water welcome after a day sight seeing. The restaurants recommended where spot on for what we were looking for. Hotel was in a great location right at the top of Times Square, accessible to the subways and Port Authority Bus Terminal without feeling intrusive or too close. The room was very comfortable, very clean, very modern, privacy and not feeling like the people next door could hear our conversations. They had a cool outdoor rooftop deck that was a bonus way of enjoying NYC. Location was fantastic, had many great restaurants near by that were open late. We had great little markets and espresso shops to enjoy coffee in the AM or grab a late night snack.
