The hotel was nice, room service was just going. The highlight we experienced when checking out. Credit card was charged 5x. More than 2 hours was needed for clarification. Then we were promised, everything is corrected. When the credit card bill of the shock: More like twice the deducted. For more than 2 weeks no reaction from the hotel though repeated contact!

Great hotel in the Middle of Manhattan with really good staff. All of them are really kind. Hope to come back soon.

I cannot confirm the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Neither the cleanliness nor the state of entertainment convinces. In addition, the staff was unfriendly and dismissive in the event of justified complaints. No recommendation. There are better alternatives for the price.

Good hotel in a great central location — only a block away from Times Square. Bed is super comfortable and the sheets very soft, though the double bed is really quite small. Room & bathroom very clean with a great shower. Our room was right next to the lift which I thought was going to be noisy, but in fact was super quiet and didn’t hear a thing all night.

My husband and I just spent 6 fabulous days at this beautiful hotel. Jonathan and Patrick at the front desk along with the doorman are top notch. SO HELFUL! Housekeeping does a wonderful job at cleaning. Love the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Fresh coffee, tea and BIG red apples in the morning, Fresh water with lemons or oranges in in the afternoon and evenings, it was so refreshing after being out in the all day. The only thing is that if there are 2 people in the room you only get 2 of each, hand towels, bath towels and wash clothes. If you are in NYC in the summer you will be taking 3 to 4 showers a day. Ceasar the houseman was very helpful and brought more towels whenever we request them. This hotel is very convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit NYC! A+ staff.

Fabulous hotel, excellent location, most helpful staff. Beautiful roof top terrace with hot tub & outstanding views at night. I would highly recommend Hotel Cassa!

Doesn't meet my expectations. The style is unconvincing, all a little too simple and loveless designed. Thought it was an inexpensive alternative, but that is not the case. NY is expensive and I would have preferred to pay more afterwards and buy a really good hotel. Belongs to the Radisson chain, however, is far from familiar standard. Conclusion: I can't recommend.

The hotel was empty when I went but customer service was so nice. Rooms are perfect for 2. Super clean and location is awesome. Literally around the corner from time square.

Excellent, stayed here one night. Clean and modern and up to date. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom (shower, no tub in my room). Especially nice since only $197 total from Travelzoo on the particular nite I stayed. Checkout time 12 which is generous, plus they will hold your luggage before and after you check out, for a while. Free coffee in the a m and lemon water the rest of the day. Balcony and workout room available. Pret cafe two doors down for fresh crosssants or breakfast sandwiches. Central location, good for everything.

Exceptional service at the front desk, extremely accommodating. Even after we had checked out they offered to hold our bags for the day while we continued our visit. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and cozy. There's a bar/restaurant downstairs which is a bit pricy, but what isn't in NYC. Great place to stay!

Very modern, clean, safe and reasonably priced for Manhattan. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay there again.

Considering The central area I would say it has a super affordable price. The rooms are small but in New York to have more you have to spend a lot but much more.

Super friendly staff who were so helpful when my friend and I wanted to find out the best way to visit downtown. The rooms are a little bit dated but it is in a great location less than a five minute walk from Times Square and ten to fifteen minute walk to Central Park.

Excellent staff, all of Them. We had a little problem with our tour operator as to the type of reservation in the ROOM. Very friendly on the part of Cassa Hotel we solved it quickly and efficiently, even without being them in principle those responsible for the Misunderstanding.
The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would return without a doubt.

Great place to stay in NYC! Quality service and room. The restaurant downstairs had good food and nice ambiance. My room had nice toiletries and was very comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Excellent location at Broadway and Times Square. I will return!

High marks for the friendly and professional staff. The room and bathroom was modern and clean upon arrival. Above all else, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Close enough to everything, but far enough to avoid the chaos. We were perfectly placed within 2 blocks away from Time Square, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, the New York City Public Library and Grand Central!

Excellent location, Super Comfy Bed, Sound Proof Walls, Outstanding staff, specially Patrick who took care personally of me during a health emergency. Car service coordination was amazing, thanks to Darly and Mauricio for their professional, respectful service and puntuality. For sure will be repeated!

Super centrally located, in five minutes you are in times Square! The rooms are very nice, but the air conditioning could be a bit quieter. We didn't have breakfast with us, but right next door is a Pret a Manger, where you can get a delicious one. For an NYC trip, the Cassa Hotel is absolutely ideal!

Modern Hotel in the heart of Manhattan just a stone's throw from Times Square. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast (in the restaurant connected to the hotel) is abundant and of quality (both Mediterranean and continental with a good variety).

This hotel was fantastically placed for a tourist trip to New York City. It is only a block away from Times Square. It's on the same street as the United Nations, and just 5 streets from Radio City Music Hall. The Hotel is extremely comfortable. The rooms are furnished with a fridge (extremely useful! ) while there are no Tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms there is free Tea & Coffee available in the foyer. The Hotel even supply a free to use umbrella! The Hotel left us a pair of cupcakes and a nice card to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary — a very nice touch. On leaving they were able to arrange a car that took us directly to the airport which arrived on time and was a flat rate. Overall an excellent experience in New York!

It is a very well located hotel between Central Park, museums, theatres and 2 minutes from Times Square. The staff are lovely and the service efficient. In the high floors the rooms are relatively quiet, the noises of the street are hushed. So much for the positive. The rooms can be very small, it was the case of ours (like all the rooms 03), 1 single bedside, tiny cupboard insufficient even for one, in short we "camped" during our stay (suitcases open on the floor). The shower rooms are on the other hand spacious. Prefer rooms 02, larger and especially made for 2!
Finally the restoration, average without being bad is, as in the whole neighborhood, dear. Breakfast at $25 with a simple buffet but not at the height of the American standards outside NYC. For lunch or breakfast the reception also advises you to leave the hotel. Count about 300 dollars per night in a double room.

Very beautiful hotel. Very comfortable room with nice bed. Big room compared with others in Times Square area. Excellent place and near to every things. Just few minutes of walking to reach the famous Times Square. Have nice restaurant and Gym. Nice staff and very helpful and always smiling. One of the best in Manhattan.

Modern Hotel, very comfortable, very pleasant stay, in the heart of downtown N. C. Y we will repeat without hesitation.

Rooms were clean. The bathroom was huge and the room it self had a decent amount of space compared to some other NYC hotels.

Average. Great location, pretty clean, would need some more maintenance and to be svecchiato.
P. S. The Americans will never understand that the carpet is Zozza and Démodé!

Super great location, very clean and proportionally large rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since our return flight did not go until 21:00, we could easily store our luggage at the reception and we were asked if we should be given a taxi to the jfk. Just in time for the specified time, our luggage was taken to the uber, already waiting for us. Ran everything smoothly. Happy again.

Very good hotel with an unbeatable location. Sure — it's not cheap but as an NYC visitor you get everything you need.
I was in NY for 7 days and had all the sights, respectively. The subway stations there within walking distance — see the map.
5 minutes walk to Timesquare, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, 10 minutes to Madison Square Garden, countless diners, cafes. Pret-a-Manger within walking distance. It was also not far to Central Park.
Staff at the hotel are helpful, available at all times. There is water and coffee and seating in the lobby.
The rooms are modern and clean, always fresh towels and top manicured beds. Soap dispenser was a bit hard to use, but I had my own shower gel with me anyway. Lifts were fast.
Built-in safe — I had a little too much remaining cash from home — everything was still there and I was rarely in the room.
Wi-Fi has enough bandwidth for Netflix movies on the Fon or Laptop.
The carpet was a bit worn off but not too much. Air conditioning was dosable. Europeans mostly like it less cold.
Prospect was not particularly — admitted but that was not significant for me.

$500 a night suite. Service is more par with Motel 6. Requested early check-in and the room was not ready when we arrived. They took our contact info and said they would call when the room was available. They never called, we just showed back up and asked about it to be told it had been ready for over an hour. Went over 30 hours (2 days 1 night) without anyone cleaning the room. Called when I got back to the room at midnight to complain and they sent up a man to change the sheets? The refrigerator in the room does not work so now the food I have put in there is spoiled and smells. There is no trash can or trash chute so this room is just piling with trash without janitorial services. The room is very well decorated and decently sized, but the actual service provided by the hotel is a joke.

Johnathon and James greeted us with a smile. Took care of all our requests. Johnathon even remembered my name the next morning at checkout. Definitely a place I would go back to. Room was clean and spacious for NYC!

The pictures on the website look very bright with beautiful views however when we arrived the room was so dark you could barely see. I was expecting a view overlooking the city but instead I got a brick wall. They didn't advertise the butter at all or maybe we couldn't find it because the lighting was so bad. We barely stayed in the hotel because it makes you wanna fall asleep. The only good thing about this hotel was the free weekend parking and the location near times square. Only stay here if you won't be spending a lot of time in your room.

The rooms are comfortably appointed with good beds, USB charging points, and a generously sized bathroom (an area often compromised on in hotel rooms in Manhattan). For what you get, and the central location, the value for money is high. Being so close to Times Square may be seen as a detracting factor by some as the neighbourhood is a bit of a tourist trap but it does locate you centrally for various daily activities and there is a Wholefoods nearby.

The room was small and then they decided to do work the A/C unit, which made the room hot with 3 adults in it. The window opened a little, but still hot and stuffy! The breakfast buffet was a total rip off. The scrambled eggs were cold as was the bacon. Chipped coffee mug first time around and had to replace before I'd drink the coffee. Bagel was good but that was because I toasted it. Coffee was good as was the grapefruit juice. For a high priced hotel and restaurant, this place has a lot to be desired. I won't stay there again and I don't think Shane will either.

Tiny rooms, no rooftop access. Location is good and seems clean. Elevators run in slow motion.

Great location and rooms are solid. Construction noise early Saturday morning was not welcome.

Good and clean room. The hotel close to Times Square and to 42th subway station that can take you almost everywhere. The front desk staff are very friendly especially Jonathan! He is an asset to the hotel. He was so kind, friendly, and willing to help. He is the main reason that I'll come back to this hotel and I'll recommend it to others. He made out of staying in Cassa hotel a one to remember!

Stayed here for about 4 days for my girlfriends birthday and had the best experience imaginable! Service gets a 5, cleanliness gets a 5, spaciousness of the rooms gets a 5, room service gets a 5, friendliness of staff including doormen and location gets a 5. Will definitely book here every trip back to NY!

Business travel. Small room but comfortable bed and quiet. Small street entrance, I passed it twice. But it's directly across the street from the office. This is my new NY home away from home. No room service, no coffee maker in room. Be thee fairly warned.

Room was quite spacious and was very comfortable. Can't go wrong with free hot chocolate in the lobby either!

Cassa is in a great location, has moderate rooms and facilities and has friendly staff. The only downside is the noise at night, I hope you enjoy sirens, loudspeakers and electronic dings. This is in a busy street with minimal noise insulation.

We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas period. Very good location, 5 minutes walk from the bustling Times Square. Friendly and helpful staff. Room slightly small but considering to be the center of NYC is great. Very clean room/bathroom. Wi-Fi is not included in the price but it's free in the lounge area (10th floor).

Excellent location very near of Times Square. My room seemed kind of small but I have everything I need. The service from the staff is excellent.

Beware of their strict 3 PM check in policy. Early check in request not honored. Staff are slave to policy and 'Due process' and not open to accomodating a guests request. Not sure how one can label them a part of the 'hospitality industry' Finally a department head was the one who helpes me out. Name was Sahir and his effort helped the hotel get an additional star from me for this review. Disappointed but grateful to Sahir.

5 star with everything. The gentlemen smiles and always ask how your day going. Very friendly night crew always friendly.

Above and beyond amazing service. The room looked like we belonged in a VIP celebrity life. Voss water awaits you on your gorgeous computer desk. Mini fridge (but there's a key you have to unlock it. ) They were super sweet can hail you taxis quickly they're quick, humble and efficient. The bath tub was nearly as deep as a hot tub but slightly narrow. The bathroom was gorgeous the room was gorgeous. We had a king sized bed and the front desk was very accommodating and we had a great time. The best part was when the man opened the cab door for us and said welcome home. We will be back in July.

AMAZING location. The people who work here are incredibly friendly and very outgoing to accommodate your needs. I loved it. The hotel was undergoing some remodeling but it didn't effect our stay at all.

What can I say? This hotel is outstanding! This is a modern hotel, very sleek. Can't get over the great service. Extremely clean rooms, comfy beds, exceptional location. Mounted flat screens in room. Will be booking here next time I stay in NYC. The porter arranged for our car which was right on time. Don't understand why people are surprised by the size of the rooms. It's NYC everything is tight.

My husband and I spent our Honeymoon at Cassa Hotel, we had a great experience, they asked us the reason of our visit, later on they gave us a bottle of champagne as a courtesy for our honeymoon. We had room service everyday, very clean and comfy bed. I have to mention Eloy, he was so nice and always helping us with information and directions, every single person was with a nice smile and ready to help us. Thanks Expedia and Cassa Hotel, there is no doubt we will go back in the future.

When you make a reservation with this hotel, be sure to confirm the bed arrangement. I booked through a web site, and the hotel said it did not allow certain rooms to be booked online. The web site researched it, and I had booked it correctly. The rooms are ok; beds too soft. There is no room service and there are no ice or vending machines for late hours. You have to go back on the street to a vendor. The good things about this hotel are its location and the bell boys who are very courteous and helpful in finding places to eat.
