I have been trying to write you for over 10days now. The email given on your fb page, info. Bwheralsquare (at) gmail. Com, doesn't work. This is very unprofessional. For personal reasons, I can't call you. Please give me a working email address. Otherwise I need to cancel my booking.

Desk clerk was obnoxious and abusive. As I was on the phone in the lobby, he eavesdropped on my phone call and repeatedly interrupted with more abuse.

Sergio the bartender is the best yet. I will be hanging with him until I leave!

The room is nice and clean.

They covered the smoke detector in my room with plastic because the room is adjacent to exhaust from restaurant next door. Room smells like hamburger all day and is a fire trap.

Staff friendly and informative nothing is to much trouble, room spotless breakfast was was excellent choice of hot and cold, coffee on tap in the lounge.

Gorgeous hotel, modern amenities. You cant go wrong with this place; the staff is great and the hotel is super clean. The location is very convenient and you're 2 blocks away from Penn Station and subway. Very close to Times Square. Make sure you get yourself a room with a view!

Great location, clean, great hotel staff, and amazing breakfast! If you are unable to walk long distances like me and prefer to be close to Time Square, then definitely come to Best Western. The standard rooms aren't all that large, but they are very clean and tiny which is the most important thing. Most of the time we were out and about anyhow. A/C was working perfectly and took no time at all to cool down the room. Internet worked very well, which was great! We brought our adapter for the iPad as well and were able to hook it up to the television in the room. Great stay for our first anniversary trip!

Very nice hotel! It was the most affordable hotel we could find on Christmas week. Close to Empire State Building and several other attractions. Most of the staff was very nice. I say most of them because we came back to our room around noon to pick something up and the person cleaning our room looked very angry that we came while she was cleaning it. We just quickly got our stuff and got out of there. Other than that, everything was very clean and the bed very comfortable!

We just stayed at the Best Western in NYC. We had a nice stay at this hotel. Jackie and Rachel employees at the reception were very attentive to our needs. We appreciated their professionalism. The hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was great! It was close enough to Times Square, the Library, and the Empire State Building that I could get to any of them quickly and easily, but far enough away to be kind of quiet. The room was dead silent the whole time, even though they provided complimentary ear plugs anyways that I did not end up using. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was very helpful and personable with any questions that I had. On top of that, the room was less expensive than almost anything within a mile or so. This hotel was a great value, and I will definitely consider it for my next trip to NYC.

This hotel is nicely situated in the mid-town area, very near the subway, and on a convenient line. The staff are exceptional, having taken care of our every need during the week we stayed. They sought to make our stay as comfortable as possible — even when the a/c broke, they moved us to the room next door, and followed up to ensure we were well, that the new room was woking and that we were happy. They were exceptionally attentive to our every need — from the front desk, to cleaning staff, breakfast room staff and the repairmen. The rooms are clean, neat, and nice, and the bed is very comfortable. Some rooms are a bit small, but the king executive rooms are very nice. We were quite happy to stay at this hotel, and would happily return. Thank you for taking care of us so well!

The rooms were small just like you'd expect, but the amenities are nice. They also provide more toiletries than the average hotel including q-tips, mouthwash, and other useful things. By far the best thing they provided though? Ear plugs. They are handy for noisy neighbors (which are at every hotel here).

The hotel was very professional, extremely clean and featured a great hotel lounge with patio. Our room was "cozy" and left us with very little space once we brought our bags into the room. The amenities were great but for two people, the king room was a little tight. Even with the room size, we would most likely return as it was very clean and centrally located.

We stayed for 12 days here The hotel was very clean and the whole staff very nice and accommodating The room was unfortunately very small for a 4 person room and there we were only three because we only needed the room to sleep it was kind of OK just it was impossible ch to store all the things and therefore very messy For the shower was very big The breakfast was good every day there was hot and cold things and you could eat well. Since the breakfast room was also kept rather small you had to go to a Tisc for a few minutes in the rush hours h wait the staff but everything had a good handle and as soon as a table was free they cleaned it the same and forgive Everything in all I was very satisfied The location is really top and the price was also more than good I would live here again when I am in New York.

Friendly staff, very clean hotel with very good location.

Very nice hotel with easy access to both Midtown/Times Square and Downtown. Rooms have a nice view of either the Empire State Building or Bank of America Tower. The room was a decent size for a Manhattan hotel. The bed is a bit close to the window, but otherwise there's a good amount of space for bags and the bathroom is a good size. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I'm planning to make this hotel my go-to for stays in the city from now on!

Great higher end hotel. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are typical Manhattan on the small side but very clean and nice decor. They have a lounge I heard is very nice. I got in too late to experience it but I will next time. Breakfast setup was a higher end buffet style. The staff down there was great as well. This hotel deserves every bit of those 5 stars!

Excellent service and attention, rooms slightly small but very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They solved our predisposed orders always to help you, they speak Spanish. Breakfast included varied, very rich! Coffee Segafredo All the time in lobby, bar with a welcome consumption.

Really fantastic stay and utterly zero complaints from check in to check out. We had the perfect stay. Ryan is a jewel whom went above and beyond in his service, even bringing up a mini fridge for our leftovers. The king size room was small but cozy and very comfortable. The thermostat came in handy depending on if we were hot and cold, and being able to crack open the window was great, too. You can hear people in the hallway, but I didn’t hear anyone in their room, and with our room location not facing a street it was very quiet and nestled in (it faced a smaller alley, which wasn’t bad and had its own atmosphere, but probably wouldn’t be great for people below the fifth or sixth floor). With breakfast, there was a lot to choose from, with exception to the eggs which were nothing to write home about. We wound up eating breakfast around the area a few times. Everyone from the house cleaners to kitchen staff to front desk are very kind and hospitable. You can even bring your food up to your room as the dining room fills up fast. On our first day, they held our luggage and let us have breakfast as we had a red eye flight. The location of the hotel was central to everything. Herald Square is just around the corner. Times Square and Broadway a five minutes away. 34th Street subway stations will take you anywhere you want to go. Can’t recommend this place enough. Depending on rates, we’ll consider this place again. Oh and the internet is VERY FAST!

This hotel is in the perfect spot. Our view of the Empire State building was amazing, especially cause this was our first visit to New York! Everything was in walking distance. Take comfortable walking shoes. Need a ride, the hotel has a wonderful reasonable car service. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful.

Loved the room! It was small, but there were o my two of us so it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the shower totally rocked. The view was to die for. We fell asleep looking out at the city. The curtains were amazing! With them closed, we were able to sleep in the afternoon with ease. The only issues I had were thin walls/loud neighbors, no microwave or fridge in the room. But still an amazing hotel stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend to everyone. The hotel is in a great location. It's clean, modern and the staff are superb. Excellent customer services and were very accommodating from getting us a travel cot quickly to allowing us a late check out. The breakfast each morning was lovely and had a wide variety. Staff again offered great and quick service. They offered complimentary tea/coffee 24 hours, which we helped yourself to at reception. We will return here in the future.

A group of 4 of us stayed at the Hotel in early December. The location is very convenient, far enough away from the Christmas seasonal crowds of Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza but close enough to be able to walk to most of the sites that you want to see in Manhattan. Hotel Service was great, Staff were excellent. Happy hour Bar prices were a pleasant surprise. Rooms were very clean, Breakfast was excellent. A great experience and would stay there again.

Really nice room with a good view. Loved the window wall that looked out on the city. The first time I ever fell asleep with the windows open and just took in the view as I fell into slumber! The staff was incredibly friendly and the price was second to none. Definitely the highest quality Best Western I have ever stayed. Good location with easy access to Times Square.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. I was missing a blow dryer but they found one for me at 10pm and delivered to me. And most importantly, the room was nice and quiet. For a NYC hotel, that's saying something!

Central to all the action! Ideal location for walking to many of the attractions Manhattan has to offer. Proximity to Macy's flagship store is great (1.5 blocks) if you have a lot of packages to carry. Front desk staff and concierge (sic) very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet changes offer a bit every day and staff attending the breakfast work to keep items stocked and tables clear. This is good as it has limited seating and it can be busy at times. The street front patio is a great place to rest your feet or meet others in your party. Lounge offers limited food menu and is located at rear so it's quiet. Typical room size for a Manhattan hotel but they manage to fit the amenities in. This was our second stay at the hotel, both being 5 days in length. Will stay here again on our next visit to Manhattan. Suggest a larger (executive) room if you have lots of luggage or host others. Higher up or rear of hotel if you want quiet at night/no street noise.

We were so impressed with the staff at this hotel, in particular, Joshua at the front desk, the maintenance man and the man cleaning our rooms on September 3rd, 2017. My sister lost a very important ring getting ready to leave the hotel, the maintenance man took her back to the room to check, it was being cleaned the two gentleman and my sister checked everywhere but couldn't find it. The maintenance man went through the garbage cans in the ladies rooms off the lobby and Joshua was coordinating all the efforts and assured us that they would continue looking and contact us if they found it. As we were waiting to take off my phone rang and it was Joshua who excitedly told me the man cleaning the room found the ring that had dropped into the towels. He made arrangements to have a family member who had not yet checked out bring the ring home. The staff at this hotel is just amazing, every single person we encountered was friendly, pleasant and engaged with every guest, they couldn't be more helpful with directions and assistance getting a car to the airport. A staff of this caliber reflects back on the management, which in the case of this hotel must be top notch, they all represent Best Western well. My family and I would stay here again without hesitation!

Our first stay at this property was during Thanksgiving 2013. We were stunned by the room size but being so close to the parade route more than made up for it. Well, Macy's too! :) Since our initial stay, we made this our preferred hotel property. The following Thanksgiving we had a huge room with a giant window. If we twisted our heads just right we could see the balloons in the parade. LOL The staff has always been friendly. Rooms clean! If you like plenty of room ask for a larger room … I believe they call it a presidential king.

This stay was so extremely comforting. The room was spacious for being in Herald Square. The location was wonderful and easy to get to the theater district and times square. You felt safe walking the streets. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful. Bebe at three front desk was so patient and helpful. The door man found us a great cab for a great price. The bartender stayed open for us and was kind. I will stay here again and will recommend it to all my friends.

Pros — Great location, breakfast buffet included, friendly staff. Cons — Very tiny room for 4 adults, not enough room for 4 sets of luggage, bed very soft, lumpy pillows, mold in shower, desk would not call cab, poor restaurant recommendations.

This was a great hotel for our stay in NYC. Every staff person we encountered was kind and courteous. Breakfast was fresh and delish! Quiet rooms. Comfy beds. Great location. Customer service the way it should be! Will definitely stay here our next trip.

I stay in hotels 300+ nights a year, about 75-100 of those are with Best Western. Considering the fact that this is a Best Western Premier, I am very disappointed! The rooms are very small, I had no microwave, no refrigerator, and it cost an extra $60 each night to park my Dodge Ram pick up truck at a parking garage down the street. I have stayed at regular Best Western hotels with better accommodations. I will remain loyal to Best Western, but will not use this particular location again.

We had an outstanding time in NYC! The hotel was comfortable and was a great value. It exceeded all expectations! I especially loved the bar and quality of wine. We took advantage of the happy hour which I believe was from 3-8pm. The location was also fantastic. It is just a block and a half away from the Empire State Building and a quick 10 blocks away from Times Square and Rockefeller Center. I never needed to catch a cab! The breakfast was also fantastic. The bagels were quality and fresh and they even had omelets with ham and cheese ready to go. I wish I could have eaten more because the oatmeal looked amazing too. They had 6 toppings for the oatmeal. The breakfast selection exceeded my expectations and the experience as a whole left us feeling very satisfied and happy. I would stay here again and again!

I have stayed at the Best Western Premier Herald Square twice in the past nine months. I would highly recommend it. The location is great, near many attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has baggage check. You can leave your luggage before check in and after check out. This visit we arrived at noon and our room was ready. The rooms are small but well appointed. Everything was clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom has the usual amenities and then some. The breakfast was hot and cold and there was lots of food. It is a small room though and it was very crowded. It took a while to get food, not great if you are in a hurry. The staff was friendly and they were working hard. Overall we had a really good experience and will be back.

Great location, Very courteous staff. Was vacationing with family and kids, enjoyed a lot. Breakfast was excellent with so much variety for all ages. Staff had knowledge about the attractions and ticketing and helped us obtain same. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Have recommended this hotel to a friend who is visiting from London in September and of course I am coming back always to this fantastic nice, neat, clean and comfortable hotel. Great management!

Very friendly people, breakfast was good, nice workout room definitely will be back to the same location but not sure when. Centrally located and quiet even with it being in New York! We came from Utah and was lost but the Girls at the desk helped us with a great sense of humor and always a smile.

This is a comfortable hotel near the Empire State Building and Times Square, all the other places to reach on foot (if you're industrious). Staff very friendly, Breakfast good, room nice. The next time I go to New York and would not hesitate to repeat here.

Great Location, Great breakfast that saves a ton. Also when it came time to leave on Monday it was pouring out and they had a guy that worked for the hotel that waved down a taxi for us so we didn't have to go in the rain. They were so nice and kind and very helpful. They excel in great customer service. Rooms are clean and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again! You guys rock! Great location. Super friendly staff in every department. CLEAN and cozy room. Very good shower — pressure and temp are great. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast is adequate — Come on, in NYC you only need step out the door for good eats… or have it delivered. The lounge has great happy hour prices. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a keeper, not only for its close proximity to Penn Station and Keen's, but for its staff. They are professional and friendly. Free Wifi and breakfast are always included. The showers are amazing.

We were over new year's eve 2014/2015 for six days in this Hotel. Very good Central location, ideal for exploring Manhattan. U-Bahn just around the corner. The rooms were not very big, but ausrechend. Always very clean, and the staff also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very varied and unlimited, but unfortunately on plastic tableware, but for American conditions normal. Should we return to NY trips, we take the Hotel again.

Excellent is the first word that comes to mind. All three factors work for a traveller. Location, Service and Cost. The hotel is right in the heart of New York, minutes away from sightseeing spots, public transport and shopping. Comfortable, convenient and clean! Highly recommended!

I was in March 2015 for 5 nights at the Best Western Premier Herald Square Hotel. The Hotel is very Centrally located, few steps to Subway, 5 min. From the largest shopping center Macy's, and 10 min. VomTime Square. The Hotel is in spite of the Central location, relatively quiet. The room and bathroom was very clean, however the dimensions are not very large, but for me, absolutely enough there for a New York stay also did not have much time in the room to stay in. Breakfast was included, here, too, offer my Want to be absolutely complied with. Free Wi-Fi in every room! Hotel staff such as the cleaners were very friendly and helpful — for me a TOP HOTEL where price/performance is absolutely true. I'm going to my next stay in New York again like in the Best Western spend.

The room was small but decorated modern and I loved how the pillows were laid out. Nice location, friendly staff that insisted that breakfast not be put away until I was ready. Easy check in and check out. It was my first time in the city and that hotel made me enjoy it for that reasonable price. I would recommend.

I honestly don't know why this place isn't 5 star! The rooms are small, but the friendly staff and great breakfast definitely make up for that. While you are here, you always feel like they are looking out for you. One time, this rude lady asked me to move my car while I was trying to unload just because she wanted to catch a taxi. The hotel staff rushed to my defense and said I didn't have to move because I was a guest and basically stopped this strange lady from harassing me. That was pretty awesome! Also, there's a lounge right there, so you don't even have to go out if you are too tired from touring NYC. Honestly, I don't think this review is giving this hotel enough credit. I had a great time! Thanks BW! :).

First time in NY for my daughter's 21 Birthday. Hotel was in a great location, basic room but very clean, comfortable and accessible. Staff were fantastic and couldn't have been any more helpful! Would recommed this hotel to everyone I know.

Location is great but room is very small. Too small for luggage cart. Bathroom looks awesome and everything looks very modern and top notch.

We just stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in July 2014. We were very pleased with this hotel. The location was great, just a few blocks from a subway station and within walking distance of Macy's, the Empire State Building and Times Square. The rooms were small but we expected that because most rooms of this price range are small in New York. The price for this hotel was just a little cheaper than other hotels I had checked on in the same area. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was great! Staying here helped make our first trip to New York City a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is modern, free Wifi and breakfast. Its location is great and a good alternative to the pricey hotels in the area.
