This was by far one of the nicest hotels in Manhattan! The staff remembered our names, the complementary breakfast was great, and having the mini kitchen was so convenient. Also, located to several Subway stops and in a quiet location. Steps to World Trade Center and Trinity Church. We will be back!

A nice hotel in a decent location that gets the important things right. Rooms are clean and properly appointed. The staff is courteous and helpful. I'd stay here again. Some details are a little off. For example, the kitchenette cabinetry cannot open the whole way as ceiling grates get in the way. Definitely not a deal breaker. Overall, a nice, clean hotel that is a great value.

This hotel is fine. Nothing fancy. Room layout made the room seem small although it wasn't a small square footage. Location is great for World Trade Center and Financial District. Breakfast was hot and yummy and they had waffles!

The hotel would've been to locate, if the next door construction wasn't partially blocking the sign. Not their fault :). The staff was very nice and accommodating. I checked in a bit late, since I'd called letting them know. They had everything ready I showed my ID and was able to get keys with an hour late check-out. The room was wiped clean. Not a single spot or odor I could point to. I missed the breakfast, but it did smell amazing in the lobby, so I'm never doing that again. The check out was swift, they took pride in hosting us and the bill even with my charges to the room was clear and easy to read.

She asked us what could've made it better and we explained what happened. She was nice and apologized and made it better. The location is superb with all of lower Manhattan within walking distance. The only complaint I have is the hotel gym is very small with very little equipment.

The location of the hotel is great. Safe neighborhood, subway station very close by, and all lot of great local places to eat. The hotel was very clean overall. No issues with the room at all. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels. Bacon, sausage, and eggs in addition to the standard items you'd find.

Do not stay here if you expect privacy. I've stayed here twice (2 nights each), and both times this hotel's version of the "Do Not Disturb" sign was completely ignored by the cleaning staff. During my first stay, a member of the cleaning staff removed the sign from my door and pushed past me into my room to clean after I had already told her 3 times that I did not want the room cleaned. Utterly unacceptable. The second time, I was not in the room. Again, the DND sign was removed. The bed was made. That's it. Trash (2 empty coffee cups) was not removed. Towels were not replaced. I'm not saying I WANTED these things done, but If you're going to completely ignore a paying customer's wishes, then at least do your job correctly.

I really liked staying here. Construction was everywhere in the city. There was a few run down stores across the street, but plenty of open ones to. My wife loved going to the nearby Dunkin donuts everyday. Everything was very close. We walked down to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the statue of liberty, and a bus tour. Subway was very close, and easy to get to. We were able to quickly walk over to the 9/11 memorial and museum. We were here for 4 days. We had Amazon now delivery available, and GrubHub deliveries. The internet had a plug-in in option, or you could use the wireless. The did have a faster wireless option that you could upgrade to as well. There was a full sized refrigerator, and small kitchen. Front desk staff was great. Was able to answer any question we had. Breakfast was really good as well. It was busy, so expect to stand in line for waffles. Next time I am able to come to New York City, I would want to stay here again.

Good 4-star hotel with a perfect location. Rooms bigger than usual in NYC. Unfortunately, as is probably almost everywhere in NYC, breakfast is an imposition for Europeans, and you should also appear in time, otherwise the already limited choice will be reduced even further.

Everyone was very pleasant. The shower/ tub was very large and the room felt very cozy. The bed was amazing. Was very convenient that they work with a restaurant closely for food ordering. We needed something last minute and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was nice. Would recommend this place. Great place in walking distance of so much!

Rooms were clean and nice, staff was pleasant, but the elevators were very slow and packed. One elevator was even broken for the entire visit due to some children dumping water in the elevator.

Excellent location with the subway on the corner, the staff of the best and most predisposed we saw in all our trips. The room with kitchen and bathroom was spotless and the whole hotel was always in perfect condition. Very good breakfast, we stayed for 10 days and we recommend it!

Incredible attention and establishment.

I absolutely love this brand as a home away from home place to stay. This is for writer's like me who travel a lot, looking for new scenes to rev up creativity for new character development. This brand is for those who are waiting for their new residence or those traveling with medical needs. You will absolutely love the Residence Inn. The staff are helpful and friendly. You can even hire a personal shopper to bring you anything you require during your stay.

Located near the Freedom Tower offers spacious rooms with kitchenettes consisting of refrigerator, good-sized microwave and electric plate, proper supply of dishes and crockery. Minimal bathroom courtesy Kit. Breakfast in the room Sofa bed with not exactly Linda Upholstery.

I stayed at this hotel based on its proximity to where I needed to be, and couldn't have been happier. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was fresh, the free Wi-Fi was actually usable. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine during our 4 day trip until my last day I had a shopping bag with a coat & blanket STOLEN from my room (I accidentally left the shopping bag upon check out, but immediately returned and my item was gone) I asked for help from the front desk and we went back to the room twice and the bag was gone. I gave Residence Inn sometime during the day just incase someone turned it in later in the day, but after a few hours upon my return, they did not find it. My husband received a call from Management today, 2 days later, same day as we filled out the survey. We informed her that we asked to get the security tapes reviewed when we found out that the item was missing, and we were informed that we couldn’t have it reviewed since security wasn’t available. Long story short, management reviewed the tape and found and viewed in the tapes that once we left the room an employee went in the room and grabbed my shopping bag. I really liked this hotel since it was close to the subway, 9/11 memorial and shopping. We had plans to go back to Residence Inn, but after the incident, I lost trust.

Great place to stay for visting 9/11 memorial and museum! Rooms are great, full fridge! Malthouse across the street has THE best burgers and beer.

We were the Canasta Queens this past 4 day weekend, we loved everything, the room and housekeeping was top notch, the bellhop was stellar, I think it was mostly Hector for us, he was a friendly gem to see daily and offered us comfort for our first visit to New York City, very helpful. We encountered one security guy that was disturbing, I believe his name was Sean. Due to our smoking habit, a few of us spend ALOT of our down time at the ground floor entrance. We graciously met a half dozen other smokers that we got rather quant with. Sean, he would not ONCE offer a friendly smile, nod, or gesture of comfort, but at the same time, he chose to stand with his homies at the sidewalk laughing with them, sharing funny comments and so on. I'm assuming his buddies weren't paying for any rooms, yet, they were rewarded with friendly Sean, and we, the paying guests, we got the stone cold Sean, just seemed wrong. In addition, our last evening there, as we were sitting in the smoking section, with guests from 2 other rooms, we witnessed a homeless guy whom took up space in our smoking section a few different times, finally, the homeless took out a folded $20 bill, waiting for a time slot of being the only one to enter the building, he gave Sean the $20 bill, and proceeded to jump on the elevator. We were very very uncomfortable with what we saw. We had a late night, when the night shift security came on shift, we chose to share what we witnessed.

The rooms are really clean. There's a nice lobby for people to sit and chat. The service is impeccable and extremely warming. The only confusing bit is the the lobby floor and the ground floor. I mixed the two up at first.

Great location, quick access to Fulton Center where many Subway lines cross. Got there easily from airport using Airtran and A line. The room was great, friendly people, and great breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The cheaper hotel in this place.

100% recommended. They were super nice to us. We had to check in at 4pm but they let us do it at 10am and enjoy the breakfast from that same morning for the same price.
They also helped us find places we were looking for, and we were able to leave our bags there for almost a whole day without any problem once we ran out of the reservation.
The breakfast buffet is very good, and there are many armchairs, very comfortable.
I loved this hotel.
It is very well located as you can walk directly from the hotel.
If I come back, I'll repeat for sure.

Had a great stay here! Rooms are dark (well I guess that's the nye experience) but nice. Breakfast is pretty good and all the staff is very nice. Esp the doorman team is phenomenal! Always helpful and even gave me tips on a good running track for my morning runs!

The location is not great unless you have business in the financial area. However, it is very near subway. I found average cab ride to tourist places to be twenty minutes. There is shopping nearby and lots of places to eat or bring prepared food home or grocery shop. The hotel itself does not have enough elevators when it's full. I sometimes waited 10 minutes for one in which there was room. Also the bkfast space was not large enough when hotel full. I know they can't expand hotel, but they can expand bkfast hours when hotel full. All in all, I would stay there again!

Great staff, very friendly breakfast staff, staff came to my room to ensure I was satisfied with cleaning! Concierge went out of his way for a taxi for me.

When we were to check in there was a delay outside of the control, of the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make me and my 3 children comfortable… there was wine (for me, of course), snacks, water, etc while we waited. And we were upgraded to a suite. This is why I stay at Marriott properties!

Great place that has new rooms and buffet breakfast. Had our wedding guests stay here and had a great time. On the door step of Fulton street express line to zoom you uptown to all the sites in 20 mins. Great to be down near the sea breeze for the rest of the time though.

Room 1704, 17 floor. Right away the vallet takes 45 min. Security is high, you need your room key to go anywhere above the lobby. Unprecedented luxury. I loved the view, beds, everything. The location was fantastic, right next to the One World Trade Center. Food could be improved to something more traditional, but you should be eating out in NYC anyway. The electronics in the room were high quality, full fridge and induction stove. 2 HDTVs, 2 great beds, and a mediocre fold out couch. Service was fantastic. Shower and bathroom were both excellent. 9/10

This is my favorite place to stay in the Time Square district. Clean hotel with great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious for the area and they have a great common area. Love their breakfast and happy hour. You can't beat the location since it is literally a block from Time Square and within walking distance to many tourist spots.

Staff attentive and friendly. Hotel location excellent for visiting Downtown, the Brooklyn Bridge and the statue of liberty. Very well connected by Metro. It is equipped with PC connected to the printer and WI FI in all rooms.
There are no TV channels worldwide networks.

Clean, modern rooms. Quiet Neighborhood. Quick subway access to everything at Fulton street station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very affordable. Maybe Manhattan's best kept secret for mid-range hotels.

This was a great hotel. The staff was extremely friendly yet professional, the service was great, the location was convenient, the bed was roomy and comfortable, the shower was spacious with good water pressure, the breakfast was good… just an overall outstanding experience.

What a great hotel! The location is perfect, it's close to what you need by walking (or subway). The night manager, Donna, took great care of us after American Airlines lost our clothes, dumped us a state a way, and after we got in at 2:45 in the morning. The staff will do whatever you need to make you feel at home and get you what you need.

Not a wonderful location for tourists, but we had a pleasant one-night stay here. Cozy room, but the funky light switches take some getting used to (it seemed like one switch was tied to ask the rest. ) Service was good and the free breakfast was a nice touch.

Nice staff… crappy elevators. I got stuck in one for like 30 minutes but they did give me a bunch of marriott points for my troubles. Free breakfast is ok, coffee is terrible.
