It's a very spacious, clean room. However, we were at the bottom level and can hear the people above us walking around all night long. I didn't get any sleep. I would highly recommend getting a room on the 2nd level.

We had the top floor with a beautiful view! Only issue was the cable tv. But we did figure it out!

The rooms here are very spacious with private decks overlooking the beautiful lake. There are hand sanitizer stations everywhere to help keep everyone safe.

Fabulous staff who make sure that you are treated like family. We were traveling with family and friends and the front office made sure that the rooms were all next to each other. They were also able to accommodate three trailer rigs as well. We enjoyed our stay and ended up staying there again after our Rubicon Trail adventure. If you are looking for a great hotel, look no further!

The staff is great! They went out of their way to answer questions and make our stay pleasant. We extended our stay and are loving every minute.

Arrived Late Saturday night on a holiday weekend and walked up the the desk and asked for a room. They were so nice and accommodating. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. Pool, fitness room, game room and we loved having a fridge and microwave in our room.
The girls gave us a great rate — even though we had not made reservations.
They charged us $100 less than what a nearby resort quoted me.
We are so pleased. We’ll be back!

Awesome hotel, friendly staff and great pool area and hot tubs. Everyone was so helpful. Close enough to town but far enough out you feel a little checked out from the business during this time of year! Awesome spot for the 4th of July fireworks too!

My wife and I just completed a four night stay here, and we really enjoyed it! The location is perfect especially for everything we wanted to do around the Tahoe area. Huge hot tub was a plus. Staff and housekeeping was very nice. Room was clean, bed comfortable. We got the King room and we definitely think it was worth the price especially compared to neighboring hotel options that we researched. We will definitely be back at this hotel next time we come to Tahoe!

Great hotel, rooms are modern which were clean and tidy. Most things we wanted to do were in walking distance. The pool is great with a hot tub and smaller pool. Both of these are very warm so you can sit in them when the sun disappears which is cool. It had a laundry room which we didn’t realise so that was a bonus. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because of a slight noise issue. There’s 3 floors and we were in the middle. When someone walked about in the room above the floor squeaked which was a little annoying. Other than that we would stay here again.

Great hotel with a beautiful view if you can get a balcony. We originally had booked a different room, but they had openings for the balcony. If this happens, take it! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Very modern and updated. Our AC ended up not working but they immediately gave us choices of different rooms. Awesome staff.

The room was clean, but the amenities at the hotel were definitely not as advertised. There is no bar or restaurant located at this hotel. Instead they try to tell you they are "on the property", which is not accurate. There is a bowling alley next door which they try to include as one of the restaurants since it serves food and beverages, but this wasn't a convenient or inviting option. Also, the one vending machine in our area of the hotel was broken. If you do not care about amenities or decent dining options, and are just looking for an average hotel room then this isn't a bad spot.

Really nice hotel; excellent room (we had a “King Great Room” with a lake view). Comfy bed and all the amenities and furnishings very new and modern. Pet friendly at $25 per night. My only real complaint was the CONSTANT noise from Highway 50, the 4-lane highway right between the hotel and Lake Tahoe. We couldn’t enjoy the lake view, our balcony, or simply leaving the sliding glass door open to enjoy the wonderful summer weather. Kind of a waste of money to pay any extra for a lake view, honestly. (Oh! And don’t even bother taking the vouchers to Bear Beach Cafe by tagging the hotel in a social media post—that place is AWFUL! Go to Sprouts instead! )

Great location directly across from the lake. Bikes were great and very useful to get around South Tahoe. Breakfast place on same lot was great also. Lived up to expectations. One issue with the AC unit, barely moved any air for the first 2 days, called the desk they fixed while we were out. Overall great location and place.

I have been to that hotel and they have great service. The people there are so pleasant and have such great personalities! If you are looking for a great place to stay in Lake Tahoe, that is definitely a place you would not want to go.

What an amazing place Lake Tahoe is. And staying here was a really nice experience. Lovely rooms, the lady who checked us in was superb and very helpful. Bowling and great food just across the road.

The rooms are a little old but it is directly opposite the lake. Diskette the restaurant in front is good per we did not go.

The pool and jacuzzi are lovely and heated. Jacuzzi is really really hot which is nice. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. The room bathtub is nice to with the low profile and wide flat bottom perfect for laying down and soaking in a nice hot bath.

Nice hotel, close to a lot of things. When I saw it I thought Q would have the lake right outside but no access must cross the street.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. Modern furnishings and well sealed gaint windows made for lovely stay. I knocked off a few stars for the ac not working and the hot tub having a band aid floating in it. Great location, fantastic dog amenities and comfy bed give it 4 stars.

Great hotel. The staff (Mitzel and Amy) are fabulous! Great interaction and service! The hotel is amazing, great price ($150 after tax for the night), location (next to lake! ), rooms (clean, comfortable and easy access), amenities (pool, dog friendly), etc. Had a party at the banquet hall and it went off like a hitch! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we would come back anytime!

Very clean, new, and comfortable. An amazing view to wake up to in the morning. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is a fantastic restaurant next door called The Bear Beach Cafe, I recommend the Papa Bear Skillet. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

While it seemed nice not very happy with experience thus far it’s now late and I should be in bed but the air in our room wasn’t working and was given another option. 2nd room definitely was smaller and air also not working. Given a third option and just had to I’ve everything and switch stuff around. May be going elsewhere next time.

We love our room, still here having a great time. Staff is super friendly and service has been great. Pet friendly, (wish I could've brought my little boy Riley, but we flew in. ) We will absolutely come back again.

Great place to stay! We had a room with a great view of the lake and was adequately furnished. The room was spacious! Stayed in a 1 bedroom (King) with a kitchen and living room. Felt very homey and comfortable! The reason we stayed in the hotel was because it is pet friendly so that is one of it's greatest strengths, the staff was so friendly to our dogs as well. They have a nice gym and game room that I decided to use. (Had dumbells and a adjustable bench, with a couple of cardio machines and a mirror for form). Overall I had a great time during my stay and would recommend to friends and family!

Hotel was nice and clean and service was great. Forgot to supply booked pet facilities but quickly remedied when reminded and was great to have such a pet friendly hotel with dedicated dog relieving spots. Water pressure in the shower was rather woeful.

This was our first time in Lake Tahoe & staying at Hotel Azure made it so memorable. Upon checking in, we were greeted with such friendly & courteous staff. I LOVE that this hotel does not have a weight restriction for dogs as well! We were travelling with our pup & they did everything they could to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. Since it was our first time in Tahoe we weren't sure which area to stay in but this hotel location is so prime, it is practically on the lake! Also if you are travelling with your pup, it is nice to note that directly across the road there is a huge campground where you can take your pups to handle their business, huge score! It was really nice to enjoy the newly renovated rooms. Comfortable bed, great size bathroom, patio with views of the lake! Our room was absolutely MASSIVE too! Thanks for the great stay Hotel Azure, we will be back! :) Oh and Jessica is amazing!

Tesla, and other EV charging stations. Great staff. Awesome views of the lake. No funny smells and the hotel actually looks good as the pictures. Family friendly environment. Loved it will stay here again.

This place is absolutely incredible. Great experience for me and my wife. We enjoyed every minute and we were saddened when we had to leave. Great location. Great staff. They made our bed every morning and refilled our towells. The place had an awesome Jacuzzi and heated pool. Best hotel I've ever stayed at and they also gave us free upgrade on the room to the king room because it was our honeymoon. Thank you Rich! Very much appreciated. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Great rooms, and good location. Dog friendly which was nice, except they didn’t leave a dog bed in my room as advertised. And, the beach right across the street isn’t dog friendly. The hotel being close to the beach was a selling point for me, and it’s what made me pay the extra money each night to be able to bring my dog along, and not being able to go with my dog was a bummer. The cafe connected to the hotel had the most delicious breakfast, but was only opened until 2pm every day. Located right next to a bowling alley which was very nice!

Unfortunately, we were pretty let down. My husband and I recently spent the weekend here (Sep 2017, King Suite). We decided to spend a little extra on our hotel to fully enjoy the Lake Tahoe experience and chose Hotel Azure. Overall the hotel was nice, but two things that really stuck out to us made us decide not to be return customers. 1. If you were to rate the level of comfort in the mattress it would rate a 2 out of 10. Literally no better than a cheap motel mattress. 2. The walls sound like they have little to no insulation. We could almost make out the conversation in the room adjacent to ours and they weren't even yelling or anything. All in all the hotel was nice aside from that. I just recommend that if you want to sleep in a quite room on a relaxing bed you may want to book elsewhere.

Really nice hotel close to the lake. Rooms are great, except for the noisy AC. Michelle at the reception, and the person in charge of marketing were really great. Michelle helped a lot with planning the trip and finding good places to eat. The place coin operated laundry machines, free bicycles and a game room, which are nice additions. Also, the room had a comfortable bed, a microwave and a fridge and a spacious bathroom. It is rightly located to acess both Heavenly and Emerald Bay.

First room (ground floor) we were given was not clean (obvious debris on carpets) and there were tens of ants in a column in the bathroom. After deliberating whether to switch hotel we decided to tell them and without hesitation they switched us to a room on the floor above. Was cleaner and no ants. No further issues, and there is a pool and a jacuzzi which is nice and staff were friendly. But cleanliness in rooms and communal areas is not great. (Nor was location but not sure how much that is a feature of the whole South lake Tahoe area — we were there in August. )

Great value compared to the price of other hotels in the area. Nice place overall. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great place to stay if you enjoy using the trail on the lake or just want to see it. They were very accommodating and let me park my truck and trailer in their lot.

A very nice, comfortable and affordable hotel conveniently located in South Lake Tahoe. Just across the street from the lake and a short walk to lake access. Great views from the front rooms. Tastefully decorated, plush bedding, attentive staff. The pool and spa are a nice bonus. A little noisy due to the traffic on the major thoroughfare and some young guests were a bit boisterous in the late evening. No on site restaurant but there are many just steps from the hotel. We stayed twice in a week's time, and will use it as our base while exploring the Lake Tahoe area on future trips. Much better than staying in one of the major casino/chain hotels in the area.

We have been staying here since Sirus was a puppy. I would say 11 years. They just remodeled the rooms and it looks great. Cozy yet modern. The location is right across from the lake which is great if you don't feel like driving. The pool area is quite nice and a deciding factor for us. I'm glad they kept the stellar staff even after the name change. Everyone who works there from cleaning people to front desk staff are wonderful. I highly recommend it and so does our dog.

Nice cozy wooden cabin style hotel on Highway 50 directly across the lake in South Lake Tahoe, California. Pros:
— Location. A simple walk across the road and the beautiful Lake Tahoe is right there! There's even a stairway leading down into a lovely dipping area, cool shallow waters.
— Comfortable hotel with many facilities. Gym, hot tub, swimming pool, game room areas as well as the lodging buildings all have security keycard access.
— Cozy rooms with nice comfy bed and large bathrooms. Balcony was a lovely bonus.
— Food and entertainment within walking distance. Tahoe Bowl (private bowling alley) and Bear Beach Cafe located within the same compound too.
— Very friendly staff. Ryan was the receptionist that checked us in and was very helpful in providing local information as well as giving out coupons to use for all sorts of local activities.
— 15% off for summer watersports activities when booking through the hotel.
— Free parking. Close to the hotel rooms too.
— The hotel made special arrangements for its guests to "reserve" chairs in the hotel compound, right across the lake (across the Hwy 50) for the Fourth of July fireworks show. That was really nice, considering how the public grounds outside were packed with campers and finding a space for viewing the show was not easy. Cons:
— No breakfast option.

Good price. Close to the lake, but most rooms have no lake view (including many that face North). Rooms were smallish and dated. Small but adequate fitness room. Nice hot tub. A few restaurants in walking distance, but a few miles from the ski runs, cinema, and shopping.

Aviod this hotel! Checked in late on my arrival and front desk service was apparently disqualified — — — took 20+ minutes to settle down my room (booked and paid online in advance through expedia). Room is old and not feeling clean, especially the carpet. Anyway cannot deny that they do have a nice pool. overall, wont recommend this hotel to my freinds.

Faculty was nice / helpful. Allowed me to check in early and was a smooth process.

Stay was enjoyable. Comfortable bed. Very Large one Bedroom Suite. Lake view from Pool building was so so. Ugly Event center right in front of you. Wife loved the jacuzzi bath. Furniture NEEDS updating. Lighting inside suite not very bright. Bathroom lighting was great. Nice patio. Kitchen and appliances were nice.

Nice room but a little outdated. We loved that this property was dog friendly. Can't beat the location! We could see the water from our room.

Room and service were spectacular. I stayed in room 105 and the view of Lake Tahoe was beautiful. I stayed in the same room last year for my son's birthday and this year as well. The hotel was great and my family and I will stay here every year now as part of our family trips. One word… excellent.

Nice, clean room. Friendly service at the front desk. Having a microwave and refrigerator was a really plus too. The hotel is close to a lot of stores, slopes, and restaurants. Will stay here again if I return to Tahoe.

My group reserved 2 rooms in 1 month advance. When we go their they only had one room ready and tried to say we only had one room. Took forever for them to see that we booked 2 rooms. Also took 2 hours for them to have the 2nd room ready and we didn't get them side by side like we reserved them. We paid $425 for that… Also our rooms smelt like smoke and we had 3 children under the age of 5 staying with us. On top of that our rooms were extremely hot and we tried to turn the heat down even turned the air conditioning on and still blew hot air. Worst place I have ever stayed at. I would rather of stayed at a motel 6 than their for that crap we had to deal with. And we had lake side view rooms they was the only nice part about the stay.

I didn't like much about them… first off they screwed up my reservations and we had to wait 3 hours for our second room… but lucky for them we were hungry and are next door at Bear Lake cafe… so we had lunch but came back to the same problem… finally got the room but separate from the two together… but the heater should have killed eveyone… it never went off no matter what we did… just has to lice with it… over all… one of the worse hotel stays ever…

Our group stayed here over the new year (Dec. 29 — Jan. 1) and had a very awful experience. The suite we had was quite nice with a full kitchen, large living room with a pull out bed, spacious bathroom and large bedroom. Unfortunately, the staff was quite horrible. Every interaction involved them taking an accusatory tone with us because they thought we would be throwing a party or breaking the rules just because we were in the area for the Snow Globe festival. That's not even the problem though… The first night, our group of four is up late (3AM) after the festival talking and making food in the kitchen. We were certainly laughing and having heated discussions, but we weren't playing loud music or running around or throwing a party. At 3:30AM we get a phone call from the front desk and they tell us to stop running around, playing music, and to quiet down in a VERY hostile tone. We say ok, but are generally confused because we were not being exceptionally loud. However, we comply and lower our talking to a whisper and stop moving around unnecessarily in our room. Five minutes later there is a security guard and the lady from the front desk knocking at our door threatening to kick us out (it is well below zero outside). We tell them that the noise complaints are likely for another room because we have been whispering and sitting still since the phone call 5 minutes prior. However, we apologize and go to bed.

Awesome little hotel on the lake. They have great free Wi-Fi and most rooms are spacious.

Comfortable rooms and they gave us a pumpkin pie on thanksgiving! However the rooms are a bit thin, so we could hear the neighors more than we liked. Overall a good experience though.

The rooms are nice for the price. We stayed in a king room with a lake view. I suggest getting a third floor room (best view). They have a nice cafe that's open unti 9:00 P. M. And a bowling alley that's open unti 1:00 A. M. They are also pet friendly.

Clean, tidy and hot tub. Dated (70's) decor but we liked this as we are from the UK and liked the character. Free Wi-Fi, laundry area on site (great when travelling) and a bowling alley.

Fake lake view on ground floor. We payed extra for that promised lake view. They offered 10% because of that but at check-out they didn't. Very disappointed and never going back.

Even for younger people (20), I thought this hotel was even better than the Postmarc with in room jacuzzis… The staff was friendly, they have a game room full of family games like foozeball, air hockey, and tons of board and card games. They also have a DOUBLE jacuzzi that can hold 20 people, and a heated pool! They rent beach bikes to guests for free for 2 hours at a time, also providing locks and helmets for free. The hotel is spread out across 3 two story buildings, each unique with their own ammenities, (i. E. Game room, pool, sauna, bike storage and rental, etc). And the price is perfect. We got our spacious room for 120 per night. Each room also has a balcony, a fridge and microwave, and a large bathroom. I loved it. The entire property is away from the boulevard and in the pine trees. Its absolutely great and I would stay here again! Go to place for ANYBODY.! (:

The carpets in our room were filthy. The room should not have been rented out in that condition.

We got the 1br suite facing the lake. It was awesome.

My wife set this up and based what we needed, this worked out great. My pets are also having a blast.

Good overall, but don't be deceived. It's not actually on the lake and the view of the lake is obstructed. Don't pay extra for a room with a view of the lake.

I was there for my 10 wedding anniversary and we had the time of our lives, they had up graded us to a better room when I was not expecting it. I recommend this place to everyone who would want to stay out there. Thank You Inn By Lake.
