Please is very nice and staff is wonderful.

While in Syracuse for medical care, I found this hotel within walking distance to Crouse Medical Center. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are quality and the staff is beyond friendly. 10/10 would recommend 👌

Excellent location for Syracuse University. Could not be closer. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Free, secure parking. A little pricier than other hotels in the area.

Hotel was decent and close to the University. Perfect walk. However, Esra a manager at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending and loud. We made a booking through Priceline and called in to extend it pre arrival. The girl at the hotel confirmed our extension hence we did what we though we should do. We even received an email receipt for 2 nights. When we got back they had checked us out and our key didn’t work. We let her know what happens and rather then apologize and correct the issue — She wanted to argue with us and was loud — I matched her tone until she brought it down. Ruined our afternoon. Horrible person for treating customers that way. She also refused to print a receipt said she couldn’t do it, only Priceline could but the attendant covering the evening shift printed it for us. I will call Hilton directly to file a formal complaint on her horrible treatment. I will never stay at this hotel again. And not because of the issue or the error but because of the employee-customer interaction. Whether right or wrong, when you are in the service and hospitality business you don’t conduct yourself in this way toward customers. She was 100% wrong. I’m in management and would not tolerate this type of behavior. Hilton should reconsider having Esra conduct business on their behalf and oversee or train young professionals.

Absolutely gorgeous property and so much history in the building. They earn a Platinum LEED rating which is great for the environment. Desk staff are so. Friendly and helpful. We really love this hotel!

The front desk staff is amazing. Very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are beautiful.

I am here for work and got in super early. I asked Kayla at the front desk if I could just hang out in the lobby and work for a few hours until my room was ready. Arriana and Kayla were so sweet and got me in a room well before check in. I was totally fine waiting but they were awesome! Customer service is great, the breakfast is nice, free parking and the beds and pillows are heaven. I travel with my own pillow and I don’t even need it here. Showers are spacious and the pressure isn’t strong because it’s an eco friendly hotel but it’s a rain shower head and got my hair super clean. I will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in town.

Great staff. Free weights and cables in the gym. Secure parking. I’ll be back.

This hotel is LOVELY! We will definitely come here again and again. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast spread was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel and the pastries were delicious. Staff was soo friendly and helpful. Michael and Stephanie are the best! We enjoyed their company last night when we couldn’t find any place to eat in town as everything was booked. We ended up sitting at the bar devouring the bacon Mac and cheese! Lovely find for us!

With no room the same design, you never know what you're going to get. Our first time visiting was fantastic, our second time, we were so disappointed that we left.

Stayed for 2 nights and will be back. The rooms were very clean and charming. Michael and Kayla at the front desk we professional and nice. Kayla was very informative of the area and had suggestions of places to visit. The housekeeping staff was nice and friendly too.

Fantastic experience. We stayed here the night of our wedding. They were generous enough to upgrade our room and give us a complimentary bottle of wine. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is also quite good. Overall we were incredibly pleased with our stay here, though only one night. Would definitely recommend.

I surprised my wife with the Treehouse Suite for her birthday and she loved it. She loved the tree theme and the cool bed upstairs. It’s not terribly far from where we live but it was the perfect single night getaway. The hotel is super clean and decorated nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had no complaints at all. It would be fun to stay again some time. Secure parking behind the building was a plus.

Was very impressed with the hotel and felt staying there was a very unique experience. I do a great deal of travel and feel hotels like this make the stay an experience instead of a hotel room that looks like every other hotel room in the world. Very modern, clean and comfortable throughout. Great location. The hotel staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly. Definitely worth the stay and I look forward to staying there in the future if my travels take me to the area.

The location was convenient, as this was nust a layover stop. The rooms were nice, but the walls and floors were Very thin. Breakfast in the morning was great and there were several options to choose from.

Excellent staff. We've stayed there several times. Really good breakfast. This time was extremely expensive. All of the Syracuse hotels jack up their prices for graduation and require a two night minimum.

It's a unique and very nice hotel. Because I'm a diamond member I was lucky enough to get upgraded to the loft suite. It's really fun it's kind of kicky and the bed is very neat you'll see it in the pictures with the trees on each corner. Someone mentioned that the beds were rather soft and I'm kind of with them on that. I had an okay night sleep but I prefer a slightly firmer mattress it's really personal preference. The staff was uniformly wonderful parking is very easy and it's in a very convenient spot right downtown. For such a nice place, the rates were rather reasonable as well. I'd seriously consider it…

Unique-looking room's, friendly staff, and intriguing holding design. Hotel Skyler presents a special stay for anyone visiting the Syracuse area. Converted from an old synagogue, there isn't anything quite like it. Rooms are clean and modern. There's even a staffed bar on the first floor!

Beautiful space close to the university and downtown. LEEDS certified re-use of a historic building that retained alot of the unique features of the original building. Staff is all wonderful.

We're checking out today after a 2 day stay and we've been extremely happy with our stay. The staff have been amazing and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. The fact that it's walking distance to downtown is a huge selling feature as well. Oh and the bed is insanely comfortable like sleeping in a cloud. We will definetely be back.

I stayed here this week while in town for work. The staff were amazingly helpful, the business center computer was down and I was able to email them a form I needed and they printed it out for me :) the rooms are GORGEOUS! I stayed on the second floor, and the hallway is a little confusing when you're looking for rooms 228, 229 and 230, but other than that… I'll definitely be returning here whenever I'm in town for business. The breakfast was delicious, the location is perfect for me, and I cannot stress enough how great and friendly ALL the staff were. The staff are definitely what make me want to return to a hotel :)

First of all I am a Hilton Diamond member, so I know what Hilton properties are like. I spend way too many nights in hotels away from my loving wife. Having to work a weekend for the first time in 5 years the Skyler looked like a cool place to hang out. I am not impressed. Night number 2 and I decided to grab something from the pantry. I understand they are going green but not to chill the beer or anything inside the cooler is ridiculous. The shower spits water at you because it too is green. Apparently they are saving water but when it takes you 30 minutes to rinse off I am not sure if that is accurate. They are without coffee makers in the room because that is green somehow also. The bed is comfy and the room is quiet otherwise you got nothing else going for you.

Super friendly staff. Had two issues in room, maintenance fixed within 10 min. Easy access to campus. Lovely free breakfast.

What a quirky cool hotel! Love the old buildings reincarnated into cool hip hotels. Our room was large with a super comfy king bed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was a delight, I would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed in a king size suite. It was beautiful & cozy. We had a king size bed, a 3 cushion sofa, & a chair w/ottoman. The lobby had breakfast with both hot & cold choices.

This is our "go-to" hotel when staying in Syracuse. It has so much to do with the atmosphere provided by the hotel staff and the construction of the hotel. It is not everyday that you get to stay in a converted Synagogue. It is an easy trip to the baseball stadium and shopping. Definitely worth a visit!

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this hotel. They picked me up from the airport, got me into an available room early and helped to tell me and show me around. The breakfast bar was just enough and the room was very European in styling but American in size. It has been one of the best hotel experiences I have had in the states.

Very new and clean. Close to Syracuse University. Hotel staff is super helpful. Only thing it needs is a cocktail lounge. Otherwise, best choice to stay on the hill.

Gorgeous hotel and staff couldn't be nicer. You can't get closer to campus other than the Sheraton which is aging and more $$. We stayed with our 2 little ones to visit our junior at Syracuse. My parents also stayed at the same time. We had plenty of room and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

Cool new hotel in Hilton's brand new Tapestry Collection. I was informed by the woman at check in that the building used to be a synagogue, and there is beautiful stained glass and wooden floors in the lobby area. The hallway on the second floor is rather maze-like, probably attributable to the building's former purpose. But the room is very modern. One oddity though — my walk-in shower did not have a door, meaning water would just fall on to the rest of the bathroom floor. Overall, a cool concept. I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel sits in the heart of Syracuse University's campus. It is the place to be if you want to be close to the campus and the life of the campus. The rooms are well put together and the staff is very professional.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was spacious. Easy to walk to campus. What is most impressive is the hotels LEED certified platinum status. An incredible example of purposeful use of materials from other locations, efficient building systems and most interesting, the repurposing of an old temple. Fabulous find. Highly recommend.

This hotel is very unique. I've loved seeing the city around me, although the construction never makes for a good time. But if you have time and patience driving around the city is a must! Close to all the amenities, delicious local places. Great BBQ. Overall the hotel is a comfortable friendly stay with a great breakfast easy access to a small gym, and amazing rooms that have a renovated modern feel without losing the character of the original build. Beautiful.

This hotel is cute, well-situated, with friendly staff. The room is a good size and comfortable. The only downside is the bathroom is a bit small, but for a weekend stay this is not an issue. Free parking was available, which was great. Enjoyed the stay.

Good hotel overall, but units are on the bottom floor, and the walls must be thin because we received two noise complaints for what amounted to a conversation between two people. The night clerk was rude, too. Customer service was not his strong suit.

Fantastic experience at Hotel Skylar! Priceline overbooked the hotel and they had no rooms left, which was terribly bad news after the long work day I had. Sheneika helped fix my reservation (although it was priceline's mess up) and upgraded me to an outstanding room :) I am so thankful for the level of hospitality that she showed me, she went above and beyond her job requirements to accommodate me. As a constant traveler, all I want at the end of the day is a nice, clean, comfortable room and they have FAR exceeded my expectation. I will absolutely be staying here again and recommending this to all of my fellow travelers out there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Skyler. I won't lie, Syracuse is not really a nice looking city, but this hotel is a gem! The room was extremely clean, the shower/bathroom area was really nice and clean, internet was fast and dependable, and the bed was really comfortable. Overall, it was a very aesthetically pleasing room to be in, and my dearest and I really enjoyed our stay. I would suggest this hotel to any friend or colleague.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Skyler with a block of rooms for our wedding weekend. The front desk staff was very friendly (Brian especially went above and beyond) to make sure that our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated. Each room was set up differently based on the building's unique architecture. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower water pressure was good. The only complaint I have which other reviewers have mentioned was that they did not serve free coffee and tea in the morning. Otherwise, I definitely will be staying here again next time I'm in Syracuse.

The worst hotel during our trip in NY. Very expensive without free availble breakfast. You have to pay for each cup of coffee. If you stay for the WE, be carefull an store fruit sala in you romm fridge. Sunday morning there storage is empty! I could not understand such greed. Fred-from France.
