Just had our wedding there on 5/27/22. Mostly out of town guests for myself and especially my wife as she is not from the area. Everything, everyone, and every aspect was flawless. The staff-amazing. Jenna, Lexi, and all wait and bar tending staff couldn’t been more helpful, accommodating and willing to do anything needed so that the guests and ourselves could just enjoy the night. From the moment (1/16/21) we first met with and booked the venue, until two days after the wedding, we couldn’t say anything better about our experience. Expectations were exceeded by a long shot. The chef, amazing. We will definitely recommend and be hoping we attend a wedding there in the future. Thank you Crowne and event staff for giving us as night we will never forget!

Easter brunch was a complete rip off. It was basically a fancy continental breakfast for $50 a person. It wasn't on the 20th floor as advertised. (it was in the bar/lounge) Very cold and drafty because it was right by the front door of the hotel. No omelet station or carvings station. No desserts (unless you consider a few dry pastries on the bar a dessert) Food was so salty and gross. Didnt recieve water until we were already eating… Never again!

I get beautiful service, a nice clean room, staff is very very courteous to us. No problems!
This is my fourth visit in 16 months, will be back again❤️💗💕💖.

It was a great & comfortable stay … when I asked the gentleman for the shuttle to head the bus terminal he said that it wouldn't be possible because the shuttle will only take people to the airport and THAT'S THAT!

Very delicious meals. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, even towels folded into pretty shapes. Absolutely beautiful hotel as well.

We went to the Brunch with the Grinch event and it was very nicely done. There was adequate space and nice goodies including hot cocoa bar, gift bag for the kids and photos with the Grinch. The buffet brunch was fresh and tasty with nice kid-friendly choices like chicken fingers and smile fries. The staff was attentive and the details, such as the chimney elevator were great. A wonderful event that I’d recommend to anyone.

The bathrooms are ridiculously small. We had to step into the slippery shower stall to close the door. The staff was great but our room needs some maintenance. Also, cleaning staff didn't come to my room until 4pm and they just walked in, no knock. Don't get me started on the broken bathroom door.

What a great place! The van driver was fast, friendly, and very pleasant. The hotel is in a great location. It was very clean and all the staff members were excellent. The room has lots of space and a great layout. The thing I find lavking and frustrating in most hotel rooms is the placement of electrical outlets. This room had 6 outlets on the desk and 5 more by the bed! Clearly a lot of thought went into the room. The Restaurant was amazing. For a Thursday night, they had live music (a solo guitarist/singer which was truly talented. He started at 6pm. The Black Rum Bacon Jack burger was simply amazing. Juicy, well seasoned, cooked perfect and a nice balance of flavors. It came with fries which were also fresh. Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great rooms… great great great.

It's a very nice hotel in the downtown of Syracuse. I always liked it unique shape as it makes all the rooms somewhat pie-shaped. The staff is always been nice and the parking is always been easy.

My 4 day stay at the Crowne Plaza was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious and filled with light and the bed was very comfortable with 4 pillows that had different fillings. The food was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was good, Katie & Laura were very efficient. The bar & library room were very comfortable with quick service & great conversations with Colleen & Michael. Kayleigh at the front desk was welcoming, efficient, and friendly. She handled everything with grace and even drove the shuttle bus and gave a quick tour with Q&A. When the shower stall clogged it was fixed immediately. When I arrived late on Wed night and they couldn't access a key for my room she made a quick call and someone came to make it. I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza to stay or to dine if you're in Syracuse, NY.

Worse first experience ever. After a 4 hour delay on United Airlines. We waited on the shuttle to pick us up, wait for it. Even though we are regular guests as a company for Crowne Plaza. The first shuttle to arrive takes our air crew before us. Now to be fair the first driver did offer to take five of us, however we have a group of seven and need to arrive at the hotel together to check in. The true customer service colors showed through when our second shuttle driver showed up. Giving us attitude. We were standing in a group in the same spot the hotel told us to and the same spot the Air crew was picked up in. The word rude doesn't begin to explain the attitude the second driver had. I experienced the the most awkward silent trip to the hotel on that shuttle. Even if Crowne Plaza does offer something for the inconvenience it can never make up for the worse awkward experience with them. You could give someone the best hotel experience ever, but you need to get that first impression first. Perhaps some customer service training for your shuttle drivers could help.

Trying to check in while attending a conference, pleasant surprise that they were allowing early check in. Not so pleasant surprise that the conference room rate was not honored. The woman who was the manager insisted that there was no possible way my reservation was booked using the code, and though she promised to "investigate" she continued to take people ahead of me an check them in. Apparently there is no possibility here that the customer may be right. My administrative person who made the reservation had difficulty doing so — was originally told that rooms at the conference rate had run out. When she called back later and spoke to someone else there were suddenly rooms available. Seems like the Crowne Plaza is playing the classic bait and switch game.

Wonderful hotel! The building construction seems a bit old school, but the new amenities and beautiful decor made this a great place to stay. The hotel staff are awesome. I’d like to single out one individual specifically though — Michael, the van driver was exceptionally accommodating. Despite being very busy with pick ups to and from the airport, he went out of his way to help me out. I truly appreciated his effort. Who ever is responsible for hiring the folks at this hotel — we’ll done!

I was double charged for my hotel room by mistake from someone at the front desk. They issued a refund for the amount but it didn’t go through and now I have two wait two days for the person from accounting to be in to fix the error. I’ve now paid $400 for a room that should have been $170… The hotel room had stains all over the floor and was dirty and dingy. The bartender kicked everyone out of the bar at 10pm even when people had drinks. Just overall not happy.

Great hotel and awesome staff in the lounge was very friendly and sociable. We did not get our room serviced on the last day though. I went to the desk and asked for service but it never happened. Other then that it was a great place to stay.

The staff members were very pleasant, clean property, and offer covered parking in a parking garage at an added expense. Noise from the road was quite apparent in our room even at night, however, it was not overwhelming. Rooms were very modern and updated with amazing showers and make great use of the space.

Rooms were nice, modern and clean. Hotel is well located, parking is plentiful. I recommend you eat elsewhere though… staff in the restaurant would rather not have customers. Slow, un-responsive and disinterested.

I stayed one night in this wonderful hotel and I was delighted.
It has an affordable price for most people, has good views, restaurants nearby and a park in front to have a nice time with the family.
Definitely a very recommended hotel for people just looking to stay one night.
It also has very comfortable beds and an attention from the excellent staff.
I promise you that if you come to this hotel you will not regret;)

Although it was a little older it was still super clean. The stands out was kaylee (? ) At the front desk. She was so sweet. I had dessert at the hotel restaurant and the gentlemen who worked there were very nice as well.

Great hotel. Really classy style inside. Rooms were great with nice views. Definitely check out the restaurant and bar. Very nice decor and food. Terra was my server and she was terrific. So attentive and super nice. Really hope I can come back through Syracuse and stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Nice accommodations, well kept rooms, friendly staff, great lounge area. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews about stolen items, cranky staff but this isn’t the experience we had at all. I loved the little spa stuff in the room, the bed was comfy, room had plenty of space. The bathrooms are a bit tight however the shower is awesome. We went down to the lounge for some food and drinks and were not disappointed. Very friendly server, the place was buzzing with lots of people. It is close to the street and you can hear the cars however once I fell asleep it didn’t keep me awake and it wasn’t that loud to begin with. I would stay here again.

Beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Best hotel sleep I've had in a long time! If you are on a high enough floor, the view is great too. You do get some highway noise as the hotel stands directly off I-81 but it is not disruptive. Due to the shape of the building, rooms are a bit smaller than usual, but still have all the amenities. Also the literature is is inconsistent but there IS a nightly parking fee of $15 in the garage. Overall a good stay and convenient location in downtown Syracuse. Would stay again.

Awesome hotel. The staff is really nice. They have a really cool building that looks like a tower. The elevator system is very convenient. The rooms are wonderful and there's a big L desk for you with many outlets.

The circle tower looks cool on the outside, but it made the hotel room feel small. Also, the bathroom pretty much opens up to the bedroom area, which I wasn't a fan of. Front desk staff was very friendly and the location was great for food and events downtown.

This is a fantastic hotel. I was greeted by Elizabeth at the front desk, who put a stop to an awful day with a super upbeat (and infectious) attitude. The rest of the staff was great as well. From the bartenders to housekeeping, they were all very friendly as well. In all honesty, I was talked into staying here as opposed to another hotel by a co-worker, and I'm glad I was. I will be staying here on all of my future trips to Syracuse.

The Crowns Plaza in Syracuse was a great place to stay! We booked it last minute, and stayed for a great price. Parking is convenient and the staff is great! Bartenders were very friendly and informative about points of interest and there is a free shuttle service to drop you off and pick you up. Overall it was a great experience and I would 100% stay again.

We have stayed here a few times. We Absolutly loved it. Our church conference is, scheduled there so we will be there again and cannot wait. Coffee at restaurant is out of this world, food is amazing, yes a little bit pricey but worth it.

The service was a bit less friendly, a bit more "worn out" than my last stay less than two months ago. The morning coffee ran out and garbage can next to coffee station stayed stuffed to overflowing even after the coffee was replenished. The van drivers stay helpful and kind AND the wait staff is attentive and friendly, but most of the front desk folk don't seem to understand the meaning of hospitality any more. Seem like they're to back to being petty bureaucrats following the rules (emphasis on! ) and only watching out for themselves. Too bad.

Went to a Christmas party in the room at the top of the tower. Great food, very good quality, and stunning views of the city. Only thing is its a "U" shaped room so you can't see more than a few tables of people near you. Could be a positive or a negative depending on the event. Not so great for a large banquet, but honestly perfect for a classy, intimate, cocktail-type event.

I can't begin to explain how lovely my stay was last weekend. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind and the hotel was just beautiful. The food from Redfield's very good as well.

It's decent. The hotel itself is spacious, rooms are not the cleanest ever but they're not the worst either. Staff is really helpful and friendly. I do appreciate the free drink tickets!

When in Syracuse for a conference, I needed a quick bite of lunch. The restaurant staff were very helpful in guiding me through the menu. Gluten-free bread was available.

The stay here was excellent and the service was impeccable. We stayed overnight for out honeymoon and they went through every effort to make it a special experience for us. Food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were great.

Kinda pricey, was expecting a bigger room but the service is excellent. Very nice people and they do really good breakfast. I've stayed here a few times it's in a spot that is convenient to where I needed to be so I didn't mind paying the price. And the service makes up for it they treat you very well here. If you are going to the state fair or the destiny USA mall and plan on staying overnight this place is perfect the mall is basically up the road.

Shuttle driver was awful and couldn't care less about an on time departure. Front desk crew was barely cordial. Rooms were clean and quiet though.

Very disappointed with the Crowne Plaza and it's staff. After an incident where my husband questioned whether a cleaning person had fooled with our luggage, and subsequently lost an American Legion hat and military ties… We received no satisfaction from the management or staff. To add insult to injury, they charged us for a second night after we had checked out. We wrote a nice letter asking for restitution for the hat and ties — and still nothing… don't think I would recommend this place to anyone.

Standard Crowne Plaza. Unique elevators, doesn't make sense but no floor buttons inside the elevator. Have to select your proper floor before entering. Air Conditioning doesn't work well in the room, if at all :-/

The room was nice but for the price of a room I think parking should be free not an additional fee. I stayed at a different hotel a week ago paid less money for the room. Parking was free and it came with a jacuzzi tub and free breakfast. I will not be back I'll choose a different hote.

Love this hotel! It's our go-to when we come down for Destiny USA. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfy, and the washrooms are really nice. My favourite part, as silly as it is, is the soap & shampoo they use. It smells really good and it's super relaxing. Overall, we've been to this hotel tons of times, and will continue to keep coming. I'd highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza the first night after our wedding. Ryan upgraded us to a suite free of charge for our first night and even had a bottle of champagne sent to our room. Great service! Very clean! Good food! Would definitely recommend if you're staying in the Syracuse area.

Very courteous staff throughout the hotel. Excellent bed, awesome shower head, beautifully decorated, especially the monster size"living room" just off the lobby. Plus a super "government rate" Mon-Thurs. Breakfast was the best ever!

It's a Crowne Plaza, so my expectations weren't high to begin with. The staff were all friendly enough. This place only has two elevators and they are rather odd. You have to type in the floor you want to go to into a screen between them which then assigns you an elevator. Works well enough on the way up, but coming down you're not quite sure if the elevator is coming or not. It assigns one and then the screen goes back to asking you to type in the floor again and there are no indications, like a light, that an elevator has been called. The room itself is well used like any other Crowne Plaza property. The bathroom features a very dark tile creating a cave like feel and a rainshower shower head, which I can't stand. The way the shower is designed, with a half wall of glass, you can't avoid flooding the rest of the bathroom while taking a shower. Last and probably most annoying is this hotels proximity to a major highway, literally right outside the windows. The fan on the a/c unit is no match for the co stand road noise.

By far my favorite hotel in Syracuse and Redfields is an excellent lunch location. On my last stay, I had enough time to really appreciate the view and the shuttle service was able to take me and my guests to a local concert location, saved on cab fare and was able to get right out the door after checking in. Breakfast options were superior to most Hotels with a choice between an all you can eat buffet or a full breakfast menu. After my late night at the concert I appreciated being able to grab a Mimosa and pick from the buffet. I've had lunch there multiple times, it's never to crowded, the menu is interesting and I find the waitstaff to be genuinely warm and entertaining. Looking forward to trying out their dinner as the food is always great.

Once you familiarize yourself with a map of the city finding your way around isn't so bad so then location is good. Rooms are nice. Cool design for the building, I think it's octagonal. Nice and clean. There's a few unique features about the place like showers and elevators which are pretty cool. Worth a stay.

When we got our bill there was an occupancy room tax. When we inquired about this tax they couldnt answer as to what it was. The room was booked two months in advance. When we arrived in said booked room it reeked of cigarettes. We requested a room change. When we arrived in the second room it reeked like ciggarettes as well. There were not only rips in the sheets but stains on the sheets as well as the blankets and carpet. The soap/lotion bottles were used and not replaced. We then requested a third time for a different room. We waited quite some time in between room changes for hotel staff. There are three different elevators which you wait 10 minutes plus for. The restaurant in the hotel which replaced the pool was highly expensive with poor taste. There are many cheaper hotels around the crown plaza that proove to be better quality. We will never stay here nor reccomend this hotel to anyone. Ever.

Service was excellent. Staff was attentive and polite. Bathrooms were clean. The food (served buffet style) was delicious and plentiful. It was a excellent place to hold the event I attended made up of about 75 persons.

Our event was well taken care of and constantly checked on. Materials we had that didn't work were graciously provided by the hotel for our use. Overall an extremely accommodating and convenient event center.

Hotel was nice. Heard beeling from elevators all night long. The elevators are all along the center of the building so I would believe you would hear them in any room.

The room was very small and the bathroom was smaller than a closet, and this was supposed to be a two person room. The worst part had to easily be the Wi-Fi. You can get the free Wi-Fi for your room which is 3mbs download and 3mbs upload. This is ridiculously slow, then the really funny part is that you can upgrade to "premium Wi-Fi" for $8 a day and the speed only goes up to 5 mbs download. This is a complete joke, you can get better internet if you walked down the street to the local coffee shop for free rather than being scammed by this hotel. If you have to do any work or if you just wanted to watch Netflix or something do not go here.

Decent rooms, though not as clean as I would like. Decent location of you have a car, but not much within comfortable walking distance during the winter. Also right next to a major highway so constant car noise can be annoying.

The rooms seem to be updated but everything seems to be small (beds, bathroom) The shower doesn't have a door so it is open and the floor gets all wet. Ate at the restaurant and it was a BIG mistake. Terrible service wasn't even offered anything but water to drink and besides being over priced the food was terrible! $ 18 for three small dry, hard noddle manicotti and it didn't even come with a salad or even a dinner roll. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to eat.

The rooms were very comfortable, the food was awesome and the service was extraordinary. We did not have any issues during our stay. The staff was very cordial.

Every night approximately is 50$, we have lived here for 3 night, feel value quite high! Our room is on the 6th floor, and the balcony, but the balcony faced the street, so a little noisy; free Wi-Fi it's pretty good, not a big problem; the room keep very clean, I can see that Room service did pretty good; in addition, the hotel also have a gym and indoor pool. In the morning, in the first floor restaurant where you can have free coffee.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Very convenient for seeing the Crunch play and other things. Rooms are very nice with all the amenities you need. The service is very friendly and pleasant.

Great service. Good place to stay. However, the restroom is a little different. Also, air conditioniler in our room was smelling bad. But, would definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

If sleeping ain't your thing, this place might be for you. If you like watching cars zooming by on multiple freeways at once, while gently being rocked by a light shudder as they pass, this place might be for you. I personally have a soft spot for air brakes. There's nothing like waking up to that every thirty minutes. Some bullet points: Wifi/Internet: Good enough for basic use. 2.90mbps down, 2.88mbps up. Street noise: Extreme. Hallway noise: Couldn't hear much due to the street noise. Other noise: See above. Breakfast: Not bad for $15. They even had smoked salmon, which I don, t see often. It's a fairly standard buffet where you can also order eggs made the way you like them. Climate Control: Effective and a bit noisy, but it didn't drown out the street noise. Room amenities: Coffee maker, Iron, in room safe, and standard toiletries. Things to do within walking distance: Lot's. It's downtown. Customer service level: Average. Room Condition: Clean and seems updated. With an AC charger on each side of the bed. don't forget to tip your maid, driver, and waiter.

Stay was great! Check the pipes on the 7th floor as I heard water hammer in the plumbing. On that note the hot water heater was excellent! Plenty of capacity! Tony romas breakfast was excellent as well!

Well, just recently stayed at the Hotel for an EMS event and was extremely disappointed in how we where treated. First the hotel room was wrong. Had to have a roll bed brought in since I was supposed to have two beds. Then at breakfast the next day we had to seat our selves since they where short staffed. Got my coffee poured by a maintenance guy who worked at the hotel. When I ordered room service for coffee I asked for milk and was told they don't have any. How can you be in business and be so poorly run.

Rooms are very nice. But at a rate of $314/night I don't think it's worth the money. I'll use AirBnB next time.

Pretty good but not perfect. The location is very convenient to the University of Syracuse, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are great. Why not five stars? First of all there is severe road noise from the nearby freeway, especially of you are facing the road. We were high up enough that we slept through it fine, but be warned that it's noisy (maybe request a room facing away? ). Also, while minor, the room only had a shower: I miss being able to soak in a tub after along flight. The hotel restaurant is typical overpriced hotel fare but still OK, but you might be better off going to Phoebe down the street. You also have to pay for parking but the lot is easy to access, convenient and has plenty of space. Oh, the elevators are bizarre but you get used to it. I'll probably stay there again next time I have business in the area.

Compared to the last few Crowne Plaza's I've stayed in, the reception here was frosty. No welcome for a platinum member, just instructions on how to use the bizzare elevator system. This old building shows well: all common areas are very nicely renovated, and the rooms are nice too. The windows, however, appear to be paper-thin; even on the higher floors, the traffic noise is very loud. The immediate surroundings are pretty dreary too. 7/10.

What a pleasant surprise. Booked off of price line. Doesn't like much from the outside but the renovated rooms and attention to detail was great. Very Reasonable price and a 5 min drive to a many attractions.

Great rooms and free internet make this hotel nice. The televisions are locked, though by unplugging (or plugging-in) the ethernet cable, you can freely connect your computer and watch your (legally obtained) movies. The windows are large so be sure to close them, so as not to be like one couple who were getting it on in full view of the parking lot. Beds and pillows are clean, as are the bathrooms. The elevators are HORRIBLE. They take as much as five minutes to arrive so try to get a room below the fifth floor so you can use the stairs.

The parking garage for this hotel is horrific. The parking spaces are the smallest I have ever seen and made getting in and out of the car very difficult. This hotel has 20 floors and has 2 elevators to serve them. Yes, 2! My wife and I waited on average about 10 minutes just to get on an elevator and when we did it was jammed full. The rooms are small but nice. If this is one of the nicest hotels in Syracuse, I feel sorry for Syracuse.

At $190 a night it was too expensive for me, but they took the time to help me find another place in town I could afford. How about that.
