Cayuga Morning Star Bed and Breakfast Hotel

Beautiful outside view, close to the wine trail and in the heart of amish country. The interior was very rustic, simple and a bit cluttered for my taste. Definitely a DIY atmosphere and very dark. The food was ok but not gourmet. Would not recommend, did not stand up to my standards.

Maria and Dennis are professional while at the same time being personal and caring. They worry about every detail and have created a home away from home. We stayed in the harvest moon room and had our own bathroom, sitting area, tv, and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast every day was more then you would ever expect. Fresh, home cooked and everything was delicious. The views are unbelievable the park like grounds are well maintained and full of history. I would highly recommend Cayuga morning star.

Everything about our experience was 5 star. The day after I made the reservation, Maria gave us a call to say hello and inquire about any food allergies we may have. I immediately liked her and knew we would enjoy our visit. We were not disappointed! Maria and Dennis couldn't have been more hospitable and friendly. We were given a tour of the property and then of our room. It was so quaint with a comfortable country feel. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the whole house was spotless. We enjoyed visits on the back deck with a beautiful view of Cayuga Lake. The food prepared by Maria was so delicious and beautifully prepared. The best part of the entire stay was the hosts. If we lived nearby, we know we would be fast friends with Maria and Dennis. Our stay will always hold a special place in our hearts, and whenever we visit the Finger Lakes, we have no doubt where we will stay.
